Respected Sir,

This is regarding Windows Webhosting service from
IndiaTimes. (Url : http://meramail.indiatimes.com/hosting/index.jsp)

I had problems with e-mail services. so i called
Their telephone no : Delhi NCR[protected], 4187000.
A lady answer my call. I explained her everything. then she asked for my domain CP username and password.

As you know, Domain CP password is very important. so, I ask her to send me e-mail requesting for password. But she denied to e-mail me.

I told her, i cannot give domain control pannel password on the phone. Thus she got engry,

she told me that YOU HAVE NO SENCE. after some conversation, she hang up the call.

I was surprised with her behavior. I call the same number.
The same lady answer my phone. This time she refused to answer me and hang up the call again.

I called third time, again, same lady. I ask her to give phone to her senior. But she refused to pass the call. She told me I AM NOT AUTHORIZED. (Then why should i give you password of my domain control panel ?)
I ask the lady to give other contact no so that i can make a complaint against her.

The lady hang up the call once again.

I tried forth time. This time no one answer my call.
I waited for 20 min. but no one replied my call.

I tried to call the number again after 20 min.
Some other lady replied me,

"the way you spoke to my colleague is not acceptable and i am not going to reply."

I asked her to give the call to her senior, but she refused to answer.

I am trying to contact them since last 3 days but my problem is not resolved yet. All our email accounts were lost do to system problem, they said. I created all accounts.

But we ware receiving only Spam e-mails. our genuine e-mail were not delivered to our customer or my colleagues.

I am not happy with their service and support.
Please take necessary action and oblige.

very bad response
Same problem I faced with my doamin. My domain expired but they didn't communicate to me. When I called at[protected] and[protected] No response.
I called for 3-4 hrs but same. What kind of customer support they have.
After one day, fortunately somebody picked up and I requested him instead of transferring please directly connect me to some concerned person. Then some person from technical team got online.

I was so frustrated with their support that I told them I do not want to renew it. but somehow he convinced that I might lost my domain in this period. Then I start getting calls for purchase. The sales team told me to connect to them if I face any problem.

After the purchase, when I called on the contact no of the sales team, again no body responded. This shows they are interested only in sales but no support.

I will suggest that no one should buy any domain from indiatimes.

        I would like to bring your notice that I have ordered e-phone online(shopping.indiatimes.com) on April 21, 2010 evening paying Rs. 4190/= by credit card (Normal order #[protected], Sub order no. 3042775).
        I had received the phone on April 27, 2010 evening. But Indiatimes shopping had sent a defective phone which was showing all the SIM cards invalid.
        On April 28, 2010 morning, I had complaint about it to Customer care by telephone (Complain No. 240141).
        TNT Courier picked up the defective phone on May 11, 2010 at 10:45 AM (AWB No. DO[protected] WW).
        Ms. Alka(of indiatimes customer care) had mailed on May 13, 2010 to inform me that I would receive a good quality phone in 10 working days.
        They have not yet solved the problem and after loosing all my patience I had talked with customer care on June 5, 2010 at 1:20 PM to cancel the order (Complain No. 293580). He had told me that my order will be cancelled if I would not receive the phone on or before Wednesday, June 09, 2010.
        As I had not yet received the phone till Thursday, June 10, 2010, my order had been cancelled by you as per their commitment.

        Also they had also told that i would get phone featuring 3 megapixel camera but what i was given was a VGA camera without any megapixel. The proof of this lies in voice recording system of indiatimes. This is clearly a case of Fraud.

        Today i had mailed and talked to indiatimes customer service once again for money refund but they are backing out from their commitment.

        I would really appreciate it heartily if you could help me out with this problem. My mailing ID is [protected]@gmail.com. Thanking you

        Sun Pharmaceuticals — Service Cancellation NOT done as yet

        I had registered for my service cancellation (Service Request No.[protected] on 7th DEc' 08.

        However the service remains still active.
        Kindly do the needfull asap.

        e-phone — defective

        The order received with out original bill, defective and could not usable atleast 50 times I approached the customer care but evry time the computer says they are busy and hold.. finally I send an sms to naptol.. immediatly they contacted for new booking order I requested the fellow whose name is Raj to lodge a complaint in favour of me otherwise transfer my call to the concerned section he said yes he will do and some body will call you at 4pm today, I waited the whole day for his call but no avail...I again tried to contact only wasted my time and money ....the next day again I started dailing their number finally some one came to my contact and olher about the condition I am facing she simply told me me send the mobile through blue dart courier to "Naptol, millenium building park,sectr 3,bldg no.5,3rd floor,Gala 308, Mahape, Navi mumbai 400710" and I send it through blue dart courier which costs Rs.275/- (Will be refunded through cheque as she told me) My booking no. 67541 and IMEI no.[protected] model i 9++ i and send through blue dart courier no. [protected] dated 12.10 2009 kindly replace with a best one with its original bills or refund thanx

        e-phone — defective piece

        I had applied for a e-phone from naptol which costs Rs.4999/- cash on delivery basis vide booking no.64472 and delivered on14thoct 09 vide blue dart courietr . The time of booking I asked several question to the customer care about in case any problem where do I get asistance such as defected etc:-they promised me in case any problem we will send our engineer to your place after receiving your complaint and dont worry. when I get the product and found ill- function I tried to approach the customer care but atleast 50 calls I made to get a satisfactory reply.

        For my surprise they told me send the defected peice through blue dart courier Naptol, Millenium building park, sector 3, bldg no.5, 3rd floor, Gala 308, Mahape, Navi mumbai, 400710 and the courier charges will be re- funded through cheques When I approach the blue dart they asked about the original bill of the product but that was not with the consignment. now i have sent the product now they are not recieving the defective product and they are telling they want open delivery but i am in andhra pradesh and how can i personally go and give. please do the needful

        Indiatimes Shopping — Defective piece

        This is wrt to mobile ordered from indiatimes shopping on 27/10/2010 which was been received in total damaged condition.
        And now complaining against the replacement of the same today is 15 days i am not given answer properly.

        People are making fool out of this and hangerring down the issue.

          This mail is to register a formal complaint about the poor service given by Indiatimesshopping.com.

          I have very bad experience with indiatimesshopping & it was my first & last order as from next time onward I will never ever going to do E-shopping with indiatimesshopping.

          I have my friends who also in cube with buying online mobile phones with Indiatimesshopping however they are waiting for indiatimes people response on my online placed order.

          I have placed order (Order No. [protected]) of Motorola Q9 smartphone on 23-May-2010 & made full payment of Rs. 9965/- by doing online transaction through my credit card and I got a SMS from then that it will be shipped within 7 working days.           I have received a courier (Consignment No. DO[protected]WW) on Saturday dated 29-May-2010 at 7 PM through TNT courier & after opening the box I am shocked that the main life of mobile i.e. battery is missing.

          I have immediately called in customer care to lodge the complaint that I have received the mobile phone without battery & they replied me on your complaint (ID: 285171) concern person will get back to you within 3 working days.

          In morning on Sunday I again called in indiatimes shopping customercare & according to Mr. Sandeep I will be receiving the new Motorola battery within six working days.

          I can’t wait for six working days & hence please send me the new battery by speed post within 2 working days on urgent basis and can you pay me the interest of amount which I have paid & waiting for the stuff from last 14 working days.

          If in case this is not possible then I would like to request to please re-shipped me the new packet of Motorola Q9 smartphone alongwith all accessories i.e. Battery, headset, charger, user Manuel & etc by taking back your packet which you have already shipped me this is because if you buy any mobile from the mobile store they will provide us all accessories alongwith new mobile.

          If in case this will also not possible then I would request you to please cancel this order & pay money back to me on urgent basis. Please reply me what you will be going to do & what is your plan of action for the same.

          I have again called in Indiatimes customer care on 02-Jun-2010 & while asking for status of my complaint lodged & according to them I will be receiving the stuff within six working days. I have called again in Indiatimes on 3rd June to know the consignment no. however I have surprised to listen from Mr. Mohit Kumar that I had made the complaint on 02-Jun-2010 which I have already made on 27-May-2010 as mentioned in above statement.

          I thought that they have really did something to get the stuff me on time & that is the reason I have waited for 2 days. Again 3 days passed & no parcel has yet to come at my residence. Due to this I have again called in Indiatimes customer care on 05-June-2010 and this time Mr. Aanchal Kumar on line & according to him they have already lodged the complaint & I have to wait till Tuesday 08-Jun-2010.

          Whoever comes on telephone line from Indiatimes customer care, given the false statement that already lodged the complaint & you will be receiving your battery & warranty card with 5 working days and if any complaint has been lodged then why any action has not been taken from them. Till now 14 days passed however I unable to know the mobile functions how it works due to non-receipt of battery.

          They still don’t have any details of courier & POD or consignment no. through which they have dispatched the mobile battery & warranty card. Can anyone help me to sort out this matter & take necessary action against them so that they can never ever do anything wrong with the customer?

              I have purchased an Hybrid business mobile phone woth RS 4,200/- as per the advertisement seen in times of india bangalore in april. (I can give the exact dates.) However on receiving the product i realized that th eproduct did not function at all. Also the product was sub standard and the freebies with it were worth throwing away. The company is having illegal products without unique IMEI no.s and freebies looked like the worst possible plastic content used which may be hazardous to health and safety of an individual. I immediately called up their customer care and it took 3 days for me to get through the number. I wanted a refund. Since they said no refund is available i asked for replacement. The call center executive gave vague information as to complaint is registered and the vendor himself will call in a few days. Later after repeated calls i was give instruction to send back the product through TNT courier to Hyderabad. Since April 27th they have been evading my calls and saying the product will be delivered soon. The reality is they have cheated me and many people like me and are making a quick buck out of this method. The customer care executives are very rude, unpolished and lie every time that the system is down or manager not there. The worst were Vikas and Renu as they have abused me when i said i shall file a consumer complaint. Around after 50-60 phone calls i am typing this complaint.

This is the worst way of making money. Today i file this complaint by seeking 2,00,000 indian rupees as damages and costs. Moreover the ridiculing act of the company ought to be condemned.

              Kindly sue the vendor and i ask my fellow brothers and sisters to join the revolt against cheating innocent consumers.
              I am also a victim of this bad site. Somebody hacked into my account and sent a product for them self which I have not sent at all. I cancelled the order the very same day I received an email about this order now after 7 days they are saying that it cannot be cancelled

I had tried to unsubcribe this service from my mobile but it didnt work. so i request you sir to un subscribe this service as soon as possible otherwise I will discontinue my BSNL no.

                  in first day i make video..transfrer data to use pendrive...n try to connect computer...

                  but several problem has come...as...

                      Hi,

                      I have placed and order #[protected] on May 10, 2010 and choose preferred delivery date May 12, 2010. Till May 13, 2010 no order has been shipped. Then on May 13, 2010 I did complaint for the same and preferred to cancel the order and I got a cancellation #260797 as well and has been confirmed that money will refund within max 6 days. After 6 days on May 19, 2010 I checked the online status of my order and it is showing me shipped even no order has been received by me. Then I called upon customer care again, then the person (Mr. Vivek) told me that due to some technical issues I am not able to see your shipping details, so please call me after 30 minutes, so that I can be able to tell you the exact status of your order. My concern is, if their system is not working correctly then how can they put status as shipped on May 17, 2010? Secondly, when I tried to log a complaint through the customer care email ID ([protected]@indiatimes.co.in) provided by Indiatimes , the mail has not been send as well. It seems everything is cheat on Shopping Indiatimes.com. I want to know if anything can happens positively in my case.

                        I have Purchased an Strob v10 Currency counter & Fake Note detector machine ,After reading a Advertisement in Economeic Times dt. 5/01/2010 as A Exclusive Readers offer. In the Advertisement it is clearly mentioned that QUALITY DELIVERY ASSURED MONEYBACK. In that belief i ordered that machine. Recd by courier. After unpacking i found that machine not working properly and satisfactorily. Notes are slipping out and also speed is very low than Manual. So i registered the complaint immediately and ask for the Return of the Product and MONEY BACK. Complaint No. 160824. They told me to send by there tie up courier co.I searched for the same co. but it is not available in our city hence we again contacted them . Then they asked to send through any courier company and mail the booking receipt , we will refund payment inclusive of courier charges. I sent the product and waited for refund . They told us that after receiving a product u will get refund chq. within 2 to 3 weeks. So i again contacted them they asked me to wait for another 2 weeks. After 2 weeeks i contacted them I get shocked as they told me WE HAVE NO POLICY TO REFUND , U CAN REPLACE WITH NEW ONE. No doubt But question remains that They are advertising all over india as a Assured Money Back . But in fact they are reversing there words and exploiting and cheating the customers. BEWARE FROM SUCH ADS. PLZ GUIDE ME WHAT CAN I DO. DONT PURCHASE ANY ONLINE SHOPPING PRODUCTS.

                        k-mart has on its sales receipt to go to none exsisting website to enter in 2500.00 sweepstake. donot like this business practice at all. makes me leary of store.

                          I wish to bring the following fatcs to your knowledge
                          That I had booked one hybrid business phone on 12th april via order number [protected] and paid immediate payment via credit card was told that phone will be delivered in maximum of 13 days. On not hearing from you end I made several calls and on 27 april a new complain nymber was given 238550 stating that my problem will be resolved within 5 days. Agin after 5 days on not hearing from you I made a call and on 5th May on my enquiry I was told that as there is no courier delivery in my area the order was canclled and amount refunded. Subsequently I got a call from courier company on 10 may that they wish to collect cheque for my order for times internet.
                          Now I wish to higlight the fact that
                          1.howcome there is no courier delivery in major city like lucknow?
                          2. If there is no courier services than how was my cheques supposed to be picked up after one month of order palcing?
                          3. Why I was never intimated on delay of delivery
                          4. Why order was booked when there is no delivery in lucknow?
                          5. Why my order was canclled and I was not intimated even after 5 days.
                          6. I made atleast 10 call of several minute duration and had to bear on account of your poor services, face mental trauma and spend lot of time energy and resources on account of your poor services and who will compensate for this?

                            I booked an Order No:[protected], dated 25 April, 2010 for a WIFI IPHONE DUAL SIM GMS MOBILE after viewing it on Shopping Website of Indiatimes.com
                            The offer shows attractive features in Mobile phone and I was overwhelmed with joy if could have such a product with such a reasonable price.

                            Product ordered for Amt 6189/- paid via HDFC Credit Card, and thus received on 2 May,2010 and after using it I found so many discrepancy and malfunction.

                            I registered a complaint over phone and email to Customer Care of Indiatimes Shopping.
                            But no response till date 5, May,2010. Then they advise me to reverse the order and will refund after courier back to company. Cancellation Complaint number given 24967 (given over phone by CCE of indiatimes shopping). The CCE also told me that I can get refund of it as I found it defective.

                            I courier back it via TNT Courier (same by which Order shipped) with Pick UP no: 292549 and Account Code 55959 as given by Indiatimes for Reverse Pickup for defective mobile.

                            However, the case was gone to Replacement of product .....
                            And today, 12 May, 2010 I received back the SAME PHONE WITH NO REPLACMENT OF ANY PART or ANY TYPE OF REFUND.
                            Now the Phone service staff of Indiatimes not responding to my Grievance and not giving me REFUND or Replacement of Faulty Phone.

                            Please look over the Matter and provide me help to resolve the issue.

                            After 3 months from the date of purchase, the issue is going to settled down by me after receiving the replacement of phone.
                            Some features are now repaired and working fine.

                            Battery last after 3-4 hours and during use takes 2 hrs.

                            Camera still VGA but both are working now.
                            FM Recording working. However, Java games are not working which I have seen running fine in previous phone.
                            However, I am not going to waste time as from TERMS and CONDITION it is clear that they will not going to refund for such issues.

                            Had purchase mobile handset from India times shopping reader,s offer. Order no. [protected]. Then because of some problem in handset sent for replacement by my own courier dated on 11/01/2011, but still not i have received any handset on my address. whenever giving call to their customer care no, they are saying their system updation is going on, will reply very soon. but still not any call came from their side. Thats why i am registering my complaint.

                              I am tired of this Indiatimes 58888 service.I never opted for this service to send me the messages on my mobile no. [protected] I am being charged Rs. 30 every months for using wap service by 58888.I was advised by my service provider Dolphin customer care to send sms stop 58888 to 155223 I did and I got the sms back from 58888 that your request to stop has been accepted and we will revert back to you soon.Of course 58888 reverts back with reply thanks for using WAP services and you have been debited with Rs. 30.What a stupid reply? I have even requested for DND at 1909 but of no use still getting useless messages from 58888,even after deleting I am being charged unauthrizely .Kindly look in to the matter and the amount charged may be refunded to me.MUKESH KUMAR VERMA

                                  The above mentioned order for unbranded Mobile e-phone(no manufacturer mentioned) was executed thru ,their agent and my credit card on 21.4.10 in response to their advt carrying their name in Times of India.This is a susidiary company of Times of India Group.This was received on 29.4.10 as far as I remember. The phone has been claimed to be wap/gprs eanbled but it was not able to open my email account site even after repeated attempts,and cleaning of cache,cookies,photos etc(although it should not matter) and the error is always 'not sufficient memory'. The phone has too less internal memory..
                                  Their advts or the details pert to the products in the paper or at their site even, ARE NOT COMPREHENSIVE ENOUGH to include important chacteristecs such as name of manufacturer, internal memory of the phone etc , which are normally sufficient in such type of phones to open your email accounts etc.
                                  The agent at the time of ordering could not even tell me the brand/manufacturer of the product,what to say of other features.The goodwill of TIO brand ensures the buyer about any such apprehensions in this regard but it appears that it was so in this case.

                                  I contacted their Cust care on 30th April.The cust care gave me the phone no and the NAME OF INCHARGE OF THE SELLER AS[protected] AND ARVIND JAIN.I talked to Mr Jain and asked him for refund as THE PHONE lacks basic PROBLEM of internal memory which can not be cured or rectified and other problems also.There were other issues of sensitivity of touch-screen ,battery time of 30 minutes,electric shock during charging of battery etc. He informed me that I may use it for 7-10 days to be sure about the problem and then,if not satisfied . advised me to talk to them as they have taken the order.
                                  The company can verify that the phone can not perform the basic function of a wap/gprs enabled phone ie to open a an email site like gmail etc due to extremely small internal memory.The advt or their site doesnot give important features of the phone except general ones-one has only the assurance of goodwill of their name ie Times Of India.
                                  .
                                  I contacted their cust care at least 5 times at my cost and wrote to them on their email.I must have incurred at least Rs200 and 10 hours in contacting them.
                                  They are ready to replace the product only, and not ready to refund even after deduction of legitimate expenses if any.I have told them that ther is no point of replacing a product which cannot be rectified to perform its stated function.I am not interested in refund and ready to purchase another product of reputed brand such as 'sony'digital camera ,as has been advertised by them or any other comparable product.I have told them that if they have such a stict 'no refund"policy,they should have mentioned this condition boldly or otherwise at anyplace but not doing so is clearly an unehical and illegal practise.Moreover,their advt is not comprehensive enough to include the name of manufactuter,thieaddress,products important specification.
                                  It is extremely worrying,unfair and misleading that the company enjoys the goodwill of a reputed brand of Timesa of India Group.One feels assured that they will respond to a proper request and fair submission.
                                  They may pl be directed to either make a refund or allow it to be substituted by a reputed and branded product of my choice- I am their old customer.I am pasting the last mail sent to them which is self explanatory

                                  Before I saw ur reply on 1.5.05(in reference to my email on 1.5.10 sent thru your feedback page of your site to customerservice.co.in,not thru my rediffmail id) I had A TALK WITH ur cust care at[protected] same day and as advised by him ,I sent an email to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in thru my rediffmail id,which I am pasting as a trailing mail after this letter.
                                  On 3.5.10,I had a talk with cust care again.They have given me a complaint no 245840.Pl refer to that also
                                  On 4.5.10 today .I had a talk with ur cust care,and he has told me to write to customerservice directly thru my email id in further escalation of this matter.I am sending a cc of this mail to them also ie [protected]@indiatimes .co.in ,as advised by him.
                                  I am summarising the points below and pl be categorical in ur response to the same..
                                  Ur cust care says that there can only be replacement and no refund or sustituition with other product is possible.
                                  My contention is:
                                  1.This policy of 'no refund/substituition",when these condtions are not explicitly mentioned anywhwere.More so,when the product is unbranded and the important chateristics such as internal memory,battery life etc is neither mentionrd in the advt ,nor it has been explained by the agent on 21.4.10 who called me up and got the order executed on his asurancesand, the goodwill of TIMES OF iNDIA primarily.
                                  2.The product suffers from basic defect which can not be cured and doesnot perform the claimed functions. The E-PHONE is wap/gprs enabled but it is not able to open the gmail or rediffmail site.The error is 'not sufficient memory".The phone doesnot have sufficient internal memory(only 671KB OR SO) to enable it to function as proper wap/gprs enabled phone.Pl get it checked up at your end before you comment on this.
                                  3.Apart fom above,the battery lasts only for 30 minutes or so and it gives electric shock during charging.
                                  My request-
                                  1.In the above circumstance of the unbranded product(although it carries ur brand name) not performing the desired function as advertised,THERE is no point of replacement.I am a serious purchaser and I am not interested in refund,but only in a good product.
                                  If you cannot make any refund after deducting the cost of expenses,pl sustitute it with any other good branded product of yours such as "sony" digital camera(advertised today ie 4.5.10 and its detailed specification must be available at its site) or any other such products ,after getting the difference in the cost.
                                  2.In any case,pl get the defective product back to yourself at the earliest.I have been advised by your cust care that the product must not be sent directly to the seller.Indiatimes have their own arrangement to collect the same and I should wait for the mail in this regard.Pl do it at the earliest.
                                  In the end,inspite of being ur old customer and admirer of BRAND'TIMES" THIS HAS BEEN A HARROWING EXPERIENCE AND I FEEL CHEATED.Pl take it as a test case and do some 'out of box' thinking.
                                  Pl direct the concerned to get the defective product collected at the earliest.

                                      Order #[protected] dtd 11th March 2010 - ordered thru India times for perfumes. total 4 perfumes ordered only one received so far. Not recd the other 3 till date & company India times is not refunding the money also. Spoke to so many customer care exec but no response & they keep promising to refund money but nothing till date.

                                      Very Dissatisfied & warning people never to buy on Indiatimes again.

                                      India Times Shopping — ordered a mobile but not deliverd till today,

                                      i ordered a business dual sim qwerty mobile on 19 feb vide order no [protected]....it was suipposed to be dispatched by aramex courier no [protected] on 03 mar but till today it has not reached me...they said that thye have canceled the same....without informing me...

                                      they are cheating piblic with all this nonsens please take up the matter
                                      I have ordered 1 nokia mobile phone at Rs. 3008 from Indiatimes shopping on 24th June. The model of phone was Nokia X2-00. The order Number is:-[protected]. The site shipped this order by DelhiVery on 26th June.
                                      It was supposes to be delivered to me in 3 days. On 27th June I got mail that product is delivered where it was not delivered to me. I mailed and called them that product has not delivered yet. They said that they will update me after talking to Courier Company. But they didn&#039;t update me. Then i register 1 complaint at site. they even didn&#039;t respond to my complaint.
                                      The courier company is not responding to my calls.
                                      Now I am calling to site&#039;s customer care executives. They are saying they can&#039;t do anything in this matter. And when i ask to cancel order if they can&#039;t deliver my order, they are saying that they can&#039;t do this also.
                                      They are just giving excuses like they will try to dig out to whom order has delivered, or it has been delivered or not.
                                      What should I do in this matter. they are just trying to make fool out of me.
