Dear Sir,

I have to lodge a major complaint against Indiatimes.com. Today, all my email messages were deleted from the server automatically. I was using this indiatimes.com email id for the past 10-12 years! (I am not giving the id, but it is very very TRUE).

Foe the past 2/3 days, I was unable to login with my regular indiatimes Id. I was getting a network error message. Today, when I logged in, I was SHOCKED and SHATTERED to see all (which may be in thousands) my email's deleted!!! I was using this id for professional purpose.

What can I do now? They do not have any customer care. In case, if they have any backup... And I am sure this problem was with hundreds o[censored]sers...Can anybody help me in this case ...

kindly do something about my automatically lost e-mails from my account. the only mails left are those which were never opened, all are jumbled up and are not arranged in chronological manner.

    I had ordered one product from Indiatimes Shopping. The order number is given below. The product was supposed to be delivered in 7 working days time. But till date I haven't received it.
    Order Number[protected].
    I contacted their customer care dept. through mail and the only thing I got back is assurances of delivery. I then called their logistics partner Elbee Couriers and I was told that the product will be delivered the next day but no action was taken. Subsequently a mail was sent to me from Indiatimes Shopping customer care dept. stating that the sale has been returned but I haven't received the refund yet neither monetary or in some kind of discount coupon.
    I've heard that this forum is a good mode to resolve online shopping disputes so I would request you take up this matter with the concerned company so that no one else is harassed again in future. Content of mails from them are appended below.

    A order been placed for a sony digital camera in the first week of oct. than I got call twice for address verification, after waiting for few days when I communcated the customer care service through e-mail, they confirmed that order been shipped from their end on 7th oct. via ZIP, AWB no. E11002030, order no.[protected]. but it is a matter of regrete that the things not yet reached till on 25th oct. Now I feel their every word is false., can you help me in this regard.

      Dear Sir,
      I had place an order on 10 june 2009 for citizen BP monitor on indiatimes shopping website & payment made through internet banking. payment is received to company & they had given me an AWB no. of EXpreeSSit courier after so many complain & updated the status as a reshipped through DTDC courier with another AWB no. ( both the AWB no in non traceable ) still i did not received the product after 34 days.

      they have to improve the services and before the updating on website check the information authenticity.

        I have brought AB king Pro of Rs 3250/- on 18/06/09 from Indiatimes Shopping. The delivery time given on website was within 6 days but I received the product on 18th day after complaining 4-5 times i.e. on 06/07/09.
        My order no is[protected] and complain no. is 1128417 and 1133488. Customer care was also not helping and putting the call on hold which I am paying a lot of money service provider. The courier person also very rude. I written on the address given to Indiatimes shopping i.e. 2nd floor but courier person debated with me for no delivering product on 2nd floor. After lot of debate he deliver it on 2nd floor. The carton also in very bad condition. My order no. was also not mentioned on the carton. After I opened the Carton the product was not available which I brought from Indiatimes shopping i.e. AB king Pro. The product available in the carton is AB Shaper of value Rs. 1500/-. After I talk with customer care they simply forwarded my request without doing anything. Now the product is lying with me without any use to me.
        The declaration obtained with the product shows name of Mr. S.S. Virani without any phone no.

        This is just disgusting and I am very much disappointed with the Indiatimes shopping and I will suggest everybody which I know in the world and possibly all the people that "DO NOT BUT ANY PRODUCT FROM INDIATIMES SHOPPING. THEY SIMPLY CHEAT THE PEOPLE".

        Please take strong action against Indiatimes shopping. Goverment should ban these types of company which cheat the people.
        Yes I fully agree to the views of the complainant. Same case happened to me in the past. So I also advise every one not to order any thing from such bogus shopping on line instead pay little extra after physical verification of product o[censored]r own choice.

            Status: Verified on 26.05.2009
            Payment through Credit Card - done on 25.05.2009.
            On 28/05/09 calling c. care it had been told by the customer care executive that everything is in place and the product will reach within 7 days through Courier.
            On 04.06.2009 calling c. care it had been told that your order got cancelled as the product ordered is out of stock (as it was in stock at the time of placement of order) and instruct me to make a mail for refund to [protected]@indiatimes.com
            Reply came: that they will not refund the money back to my credit card account as my order is below Rs.2000/-, as per their policy (which was not mentioned while placing order) they will mail me the gift vouchers of the same amount( which I never ordered for).
            This is purely a case of cheating.

            Hi all,
            I am Ajay kumar from Bangalore,

            I have ordered a Car mp3 with Indiatimes shopping ( ref no:[protected] on 19/08/2009 for amount 3397 RS. Money has been deducted from my credit card. The next day i called to customer care and i got the reply as they have not recieved any order from my side. What is going on here. Robbering?

            hi i m hitesh bhavnani i had ordered a mutl media dual sim mobile phone on 12/8/2009 . i had receive dit on 17/8/09, but it was defective soi had sent his product for replacement to zapp collecetions after so many calls made . i had recieved second replacement on 12/9/09 because first product wa sdefective so i had sent it for replacement 2 day when i received it again it was not charging, plus screen of mobile was v shaped like broken glass

              Hi ! I am an Indian residing in New Zealand . Like all daughters, I decided to send my mother a mother's Day Gift . I booked my order on Indiatimes order number[protected]. I presumed it would be hassle free and painless, quite the contrary, I called up my mother on mother's Day and very excitedly asked her how did she find the surprise . She was taken aback as she had not received anything . On the other hand, she had received a call from a courier agency saying that they could not find the address and therefore had sent the goods back to the store and she was supposed to collect it from the store (what a surprise!) . I called up there customer service and tried to explain in vain what had happened . The easiest solution they could offer was we will refund the money (which has not happened till date ) . It is one of the worst websites in India right now . They are absolute rip offs and they have sitting in there customer services . I have learnt my lesson the hard way . Never ever using the site again . Its quite unbelievable that they are a sister concerns of Times of India .
              I have a simliar experience with Indiatimes.I booked a pedometer in December using my credit card online.After few days the charge was declined as the pedometer was out of stock.I received a call again in January'09 from Indiatimes informing that the pedometer is in stock and I can book a new one with a discounted price.they also threw in a Gift certificate along with the order.It is June and 6 months since I placed the order has not been sent..I also realised that the Gift certificate issued was an expired one with a validity of only a month.Frequent mails to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in did not help..They insisted on seeing my credit card number.When i realised that this would not be safe and and asked for their accounts department number/email they stopped answering my mails.Another sign that the whole thing is a big scam and with my experience, I would request all to be careful with dealing with Indiatimes.

                I placed an order for spiritual bhajans audio CD through Indiatimes online as they promise to deliver within max 5 days. I placed many days before the delivery date. Indiatimes did not deliver it on time. I called many times from US but I was told that it will be delivered soon. At last without asking me, indiatimes.com shopping cancelled my order and sent me an email with a Gift Certificate of same value as refund. I am forced to use the same money at indiatimes shopping now. There are 3 illegal actions committed here.

                1) Cheating customers into believing that indiatimes shopping delivers orders within max five days and luring them to shopping through indiatimes.com shopping. This is presenting false information and cheating
                2) Not delivering order on time. Again not performing according to what is promised and according to what is charged as payment. which amounts to cheating
                3) Inspite of calling many times from United States and writing many emails, I dont get prompt reply. Utter disregard for customers
                4) Cancelling the order without permission. I even have email proofs telling them specifically to deliver the order. No where have I mentioned to cancel the order. This act is ultimate example of cheating customers
                5) Sending me gift certificate to use again at indiatimes shopping. This means forcing a customer to shop at indiatimes. In a free country like India, this is against law. A customer is entitled to full refund plus damages.

                I see many complaints against indiatimes shopping. If all of the customers who feel cheated against indiatimes.com shopping want to get together, I am ready to file a legal case against indiatimes.com shopping to bring them to book and get our complaints resolved. Enough is enough !!!

                Indiatimes Shopping — Order Placed

                I placed order long back with Indiatimes Shopping and my order no is[protected]. In this order, I asked for 2 Sony cameras and 2 sony ericson mobile phones. Rs. 16,160/- drawn on UCO bank.
                Till date i received only one camera which was delivered without mobile phone. The attached paper claims to give even a gift voucher worth Rs.500/- On complaining, one complaint no (37012)was alloted. Later, I received a spy pen camera and a watch, which I neither ordered nor interested in. Further I received a DD of Rs.7990/- from them but not the necessary products.I keep on complaining to customer care without any fruitful action from your side. I believed in the offrer given by Times of India and have felt cheated.

                  Indiatimes failed to deliver my order and now is not even refunding my money.

                  I wrote a mail to the customer care email id given on the website but did not receive any reply from them. After about 5 days I received a mail informing me that I would be receiving Gift certificates as refund.

                  Since I havent cancelled the order myself and Indiatimes failed to deliver the order hence I expect a full cash refund of my money. I made this clear to Mr, Manoj (customer care executive) with whom I spoke immediately after reading this mail. He assured me that I would be given a cash refund. However just 2 days after this conversation I received a mail from mr. Abhishek Kumar (email sent from id of Mr. Arun Kumar) that Gift certificate had been issued to me. Such irresponsible behavior is completely unacceptable from Indiatimes. On reading this mail I called my their customer care helpline and spoke with one Miss. Divya. I asked her to connect me to either Abhishek or Manoj. At 9:30 am she told me that they were not yet in office. They would come by 11 am. I was assured that I would receive a call from Abhishek (supposedly the supervisor of this pathetic customer care) by noon.

                  Its been 4 days now I am still waiting and hence now I am registering this complaint here.

                  My order details are as follows:

                    I have purchased a Vox Mp3/ MP4 (2 GB) player from India times.com. Order No.[protected].

                    Before purchasing I had asked the Telesales girl whether it comes with a Direct Charger. She answered it comes with a direct charger.

                    When I received the product I saw that it has to be charged from a computer.


                    I have called four times to India times and got the same reply that they will listen to the recording and then cancel my order within the next 48 / 72 hrs. But they never got back to me. ( Pawan / Hema / Deepak / sindhu - 20129)

                    The the kind of service Indiatimes provide is pathetic.

                    Their only aim is to sell the product any way, even if it means telling lies.


                    They asked me to speak to Sandeep from Alpha Radios. According to him I have to speak to India Times Shopping .

                    According to India Times I have to speak to Alpha Radios.

                    I requested them to stop the buck passing and resolve the issue very fast so that
                    I am not stuck up with a MP3 player which is of no use to me. But as always it is the same buck passing.

                    For them the best customer service is to avoid the issue

                      I recently opted to buy a Delhi Daredevils shirt from this webiste: http://www.shopping.indiatimes.com/. Upon ordering, delivery location was stated as All Areas and has now duely been changed to All India. I paid with a credit card, i selected south africa and they allowed my transaction to process. A few days later they cancelled my order stating that i live in a non serviceable area. They then issued me with a gift certificate. I cant get what i saved money to buy for, and i am being forced to still shop with them, let alone i cant because none of their merchants will service my location. In correspondence, they have only ever given me the same response alwasys, i have written to the editor, and absolutely nothing was done. In essence i was "Robbed". My arguments are why take money from people you cannot provide to, South Africa should not ever have been on their list, i mean they even calculated shipping costs to me. I am deeply dissapointed in the service and the extreme lack of ethics, not only business but of human nature which they have displayed to me. I will never shop again at another indian website and i will actively stop such potential trade from my side of the fence. Service is the worst i have come across, what makes it worse is that i found their link of the official Delhi Daredevils website. No quality!!! If you are not from India, you will regret giving them your money.

                      I myself have had problem with these people. I had ordered a slim and lift body shaping undergarment in large size, i was delivered the wrong size twice. First time a XL size and on ordering a second one( order no.[protected] a LLX size. both the time no replacement was done after so many calls made from us ( complain no.284920). This is the worst sort of shopping service available.

                        With ref. to above order No.[protected], Times Shopping has not send any courier till today, for order which was booked on 14th April, 2009, as per them, the order will be couriered with in 7 working days.

                        After a repetted followup, they given a flase courier docket no.[protected] sent on Apr 28, 2009, which is not maching with ELBEE courier service.

                        Even after informing at Customer service of Times shopping, there is no response from the Company,

                        They already debited the amount to my credit card on 16th April, 2009

                          There is a BIG online SCAM going on with Indiatimes shopping and public will not know easily how they get cheated. PLEASE do not buy anything online from Indiatimes shopping or Rediff shopping. They are real suckers on the planet.

                          I ordered a product on 17th April for Rs 555/-. They said it will be processed and sent in 7 business days. On the 10th day, they will send you a surprise email saying that your order cannot be processed and instead of refunding they will give a certificate which you are forced to buy something else and has to uses within a month or it will expire. The catch here is you will never get anything with similar price or if available you may not like that product. So you have only two options left, 1) buy a product for lesser value and the remaining gone as the gift certifcate expires 2) Buy a higher value and end up paying more and there is no guarantee on what you will recieve.

                          Just imagine how much they will be gaining if they cheat this way. Assume 10000 people for trapped into this SCAM. Even if 1 rupee was left with them from the certificate, they will make easily 10000 rupees by siting in 4/4 cubical or you bouggt by addtional money. Either they forcing you and making easy money. I believe this is a BIG SCAM going in with India time online shopping and Rediff online shopping. MY advice for all of you is not to buy anything online even if appears to be cheaper buying from them. They are money sucker and are real online beggers.

                          I have had bad expereince with both Refidd and India times and my goal is prevent this scam as much as possible. Please spead this to all know people and save money. Thanks for taking time to read these contents.

                          I agree with you and yes they are cheating public like anything and this needs to be stopped. The only way as you say let every one know about this scam and stop buying online products. See before and then compare and buy is the best solution. I got once one produce and it was with rediff. What was published was different and the sent one was different.
                          I too experienced scam from both rediff shooping and Indiantimes shopping. Pls inform all your friends, relatives, colleagues NOT TO BUY ONLINE. You will only endup loosing money.
                          I completely agree with Raj. I burnt my fingers with Rediff Shopping too. It's shocking that these big portals have no qualms about cheating and deceiving people. I ordered a pair of Cargo Shorts from rediff shopping recently (order no.5472745). At least that's what I thought I'd be getting. I happily processed my order, and couldn't wait to pay the courier guy when he reached my house.

                          What I opened the package, I was shocked to say the least. I laid my eyes on the most horrible looking shorts (if I can call them that) I have ever seen. Seriously, someone would have to pay me money to wear these in public. The material is like a rag, a dirty paper thin cloth. The design and styling is nowhere near cargo - these are more like the bermudas that were popular a decade ago. To top it all, the colour, is a PALE YELLOW WITH FLOWERS ON IT. Not Blue, Black, Green, Brown or Khakhi mentioned on the order page. Rediff.com, if you're reading, would you call these Cargo Shorts?

                          After reporting the matter to the rediff support team, I got a message saying that I should courier the order back to the cheat seller who sent this to me from Mumbai. Yes sure, and I now I should spend that more money on top of this.

                          I wish I could post a picture of what I received here so that everyone can see the clear difference between promises and delivery. I also wonder how many people were swindled like me. Interestingly, rediff rates this seller (K-ValueMart, Mumbai) highly. Rediff Shopping, get your act together.

One thing I have found that shopping.indiatimes is a parking lot where many players come and park their carts loaded with substandard goods and very conveniently indiatimes washes its hands off. Your complaint is very clear. They have acknowledged receipt of defective goods, and then hinding behind a miniscule amount returned.
                            Shame on Indiatimes. Government must ban such sites and rather collect VAT from them. I think there is some kind of cheating on VAT too in these transactions.

                            In January this year, I ordered three pieces of costume jewellery from shopping.indiatimes.com. The payment was asked for and paid in advance. Of the three jewellery pieces received, two were broken. I registered a complaint. The defective pieces were collected by their couriers but after three months no replacements have been received.
                            On calling the companies Call Centre, I was given a number to call and an e mail ID on which to contact for the redressal of my greivance. The number given is perpetually busy and there have been no replies after as many as five e mails sent to the address given.

                            I received a couple of sms.s saying I could claim full cash back and should call a given number. The number given is perpetually switched off according to the service provider.

                            This amounts to fraud, pure and simple. Coming from a reputed group like the Times this is surprising. I would never ever advise any of my friends and acquaintances to place an order on this company.

                            Since you have not asked for my address etc. how would I know that you have taken any action on this complaint.
                            I want to shop using multi-city cheque. How can I do it as I do not have credit cards and do not want to get them? Also There are no code numbers mentioned for the products, so how can I let you know which product I want to order?

                            I placed an order for 2 items on 28-8-09 and paid the amount through credit card. My order no.is[protected].The company advised me the parcel was despatched on 2-9-09. They claim that the orders would be despatched within 7 days. I have not received the parcel till 17-9-09.                             I placed an order with shopping.indiatimes.com on sunday 28th November 2010 for a "Hyderabad Fresh Water Pearls Maharani combo 122 Items" as per the advertisement in Times of India Paper - Mumbai Edition on the same day.I placed the order on a payment by Credit Card.I received the parcel on Monday 13th Dec 2010 and It should received at on or before 4th dec as told by customer care person at the time of placing the order. After I opened the parcel , I was in complete shock as what I expected was good quality pearl sets , but what I had received was sets of plastic pearls and duplicate jewellery.The items value not crossing Rs.200/- and I had paid Rs.2999/- + 199 shipping charge.They had also mentioned about the warrenty of the product in the paper.                             I ordered a Blackberry 8830 from india times.com on 10 April 2011 and received my order on 14th April 2011. To my surprise the product which i ordered was sub standard. The phone charger was duplicate, Ear Phone was duplicate, the box was sealed. Even the sd card slot was broken. I registered a complaint 767530 with indiatimes.com and they told me to send the product back to them so that they can replace it. On April 20th i sent the blackberry 8830 back to address provided to me. As per conversation on e-mails they assured me i will get my replacement product very soon with all original blackberry accessories however today i received the replacement product and nothing was changed. I received the same very box which i sent back.I called customer service back and they told me that either you have option to get replacement product or you can cancel the order. I don't know what happened the line got disconnected. I called customer service again within next two mins and the customer service rep told me i cannot cancel the order as it is online order. He told me he can arrange for replacement of the product which have received today i.e. 29th April 2011 which i don't believe that they will send me as i don't trust them. I made the payment through a credit card in amount of Rs 6189.00. I wll upload the Photos which i have taken of the first parcel which i received as i do not have it right now.

                                Fake products are being sold through online shopping websites. It is a big business.

                                Fake car polish is being sold on INDIATIMES shopping. The polish is a look alike of the original formula 1 car polish and is sold under brand name FORMULA.

                                There is another fake product that says Formula-1 car polish - a poor imitation.

                                Even Sify shopping is having the same sellers.

                                Online shopping in India is being used to market fake products and this a a big illegal business that they are promoting.

                                  I purchased I phone from indiatimes shopping and received the product which was defective.I asked to replace the product.the product was taken back from me and i again received the same defective product.Then i requested to cancel the order and i sent the product back.But again they sent me the same defective product again.I called so many times in the customer care, everytime they said that they will get back to me in 24 hrs but never received call back from their side.Its almost two and half months now but neither received a proper product nor cash back.Please help me to get back my money.

                                  I had placed an order for handycam with indiatimes shopping under the cash back scheme in the month of Aug08. No where then it was mentioned the gift vouchers for cash back wud be issued on a monthlu basis. on my several reminders they gave me few Gift certificates (GC)assuring otheres wud be issued on a later date. then It was Diwali time so I had asked for more GC so that i can buy some gifts for my relatives. In there mail on 11th Oct. they have mentioned that balance GC wud be issued on a monthly basis.. I was getting 7 gc of Rs. 150 every month now when I had asked that there are still 7 Gc left on my account and requested to issue them they are saying that they have already been expired as they were issued in the month of Oct.
                                  I have wriiten a mail in Oct and they have replied to it saying Gc will be issued on a later date and now they say that computer generated mail must have been sent to u abt it.
                                  I have received no mails and no intimation abt those Gc. It is simply there trick to cheat the customers.
                                  I have been in consatnt touch with them then why in none of the mails they have mentioned abt those GC, I have a mail from them in which they have given details of all the GC issued in my name except the ones issued in Oct. It simply indiactes that no GC were issued and now they are trying to save themselves from paying back

The book was supposed to deliver by 6th feb 2013 . The book was sent by Bluedart courier AWB no [protected]. I never received that book. When i called to bludart customer care they said that the book had been returned to its origin as they coudnt find the location. The location was my office address(Whitefield Bangalore) and i have received many couriers here from many courier services including Bluedart. After that I called indiatimes Shopping customer service. They told that as they had received the book they were cancelling the order and I would get the refund in 7 working day.

                                    I got a call from indiatimes for book Club membership . After a week, when it was not delivered, i called them asking for clarification and CCE reply was " NO stock".

                                    More irritating is the refund policy. They say for orders less than Rs.1000, they wil not give cash refund. They will only give "gift certificates" after a week of cancellation of your order which can be used for online purchases.

                                    They take undue advantage from customers by creating this type of policies. I am wondering why should they accept the order when they don't have any stock and why shouldn't they communicate the non availability immediately without waiting for customers to ask them the status.

                                    Please be careful when you order with Indiatimes and if you already done this mistake then dont expect for the refund.You can end up in getting a reply " No stock" and get a " fools certificate" in lieu of your payment.

They will list manythings for display after booking they will say no stock and also in a very bad manner that you will never get this.                                     I received a call from one of the lady representative of ITBC from telephone No [protected] at 6.19 PM for approximately 12 Minutes during which she informed me that I have been awarded with the free gifts i. e. United Colours of Benetton Watch and United Colours of Benetton Belt, Key Chain and Wallet and accordingly I had to pay Rs 499/- and 599/- respectively and she redirected me to HSBC link twice and to my great surprise the following 2 transactions were reported by my HSBC Card center : 21/04/2009 Living Media Rs. 3, 199/- and 21/04/2009 Living Media Rs. 2, 598/-

                                    When I got the SMS confirmation for order No 0GA[protected] from your side for RS 2, 598/-, I enquired with my bankers and came to know about the cheating by the Lady from ITBC.

                                    Detailed mail was sent to them on 24.04.2009, which was replied by them on 26.04.2009 asking for the details to which I replied on 27.04.2009. Since them they have not taken care to reply to none of my mails on 30.04.2009, 02.05.2009, 07.05.2009 and 11.05.2009.

                                    Two of them executives called me in between and they assured me that there was a genuine human mistake on behalf of the concerned lady and I am going to get back the refund in a months' time but they don't bother to mail such assurance.

                                    I don't understand that such a big organisation does not have any system to ensure customer satisfaction and customer dispute redressal.

                                    I am also going to put this fact on various forums on internet so that they may not commit such frauds in future.

                                    From last Three months I am chasing Indiatimes to get back my money . I have booked an holiday package from indiatimes . The executive dealing with me cheated me, first he told me that i would get the booking of hotes on specified dated mentioned by me, when i made my payments, he asked me to talk to some seniors when i talked with them they replied that, on specifid dates booking is not possible.I said ok please cancell my booking and immediately refund back my money. To my surprise they told me that you have to give proof of payment, proof of statement generated from bank etc. I told i have just now booked the package its hardly 5 minutes back, you have recived the payment you can confirm from your account. But they resisted. I said ok, then as soon as recived my next e-sattement i forwarded to them, and its now almost three month I have not recived any my payment I am writing to them every week and they are replying it will take some time .

                                    I feel cheated by the Indiatimes, and request others don't fall under there trap. I was having really a horrible experiance with Indiatimes.

                                    The same thing would have happened to me. They offered vacation pack at 3198, and told me to make payment online using credit card. But then, when the telephone payment failed (even though I entered correct credit card number many times), they started asking me my credit card expiry date and credit card number verbally.

                                    I suspected a fraud, and refused to deal with them.

                                    india times cheating customers by stealing their card info and makingg money out of them after that they are issuing gift voucher which, one should use on their website with in specified time .if you forget about card they make full profit.i dont know how to deal about this in india do we have any complaint boards which can take actual actions against such things. let em know if you guys have any more details. i just want to share my first and last experience with india times. be aware search before you shop that was my experience.

                                    I had bought a Pen video camera from Indiatimes shopping vide my
                                    Order no.[protected] dt. 11/3/2010.

                                    The Pen Video Camera delivered to me was a defective piece and I
                                    lodged complaint with Indiatimes and they told me to deliver the
                                    defective material to their representative m/s TNT Courier, which I
                                    did vide TNT Receipt No. DO[protected] WW DT. 05/05/2010., and I
                                    will be sent the other defect less Pen Camera in a week’s time.

                                    I called on Indiatimes phone no.[protected] on 18/05/2010 and after
                                    holding on for more than 20 minutes some Mr. Sushil of Indiatimes
                                    Call Centre gave Docket no 268059 and told that the New Pen Camera
                                    will be delivered to me in 4 working days.

                                    After waiting for many days I called again on phone no.[protected]
                                    04/06/2010 and again waiting for more than 20 minutes I was told by
                                    Mr.Vikas the delivery will be on 8/6/2010.

                                    On 08/06/2010 when I did not receive the Pen Camera I called again the
                                    same phone no. then the same person Mr.Vikas of India time gave me
                                    new Complaint no. 289257 with new delivery date of 14/06/2010

                                    Again on 14/6/2010, when I did not receive Pen Camera I called
                                    Indiatimes phone I was assured by Mr.Vibhanshu that the Pen Camera
                                    will be positively delivered on 15/06/2010

                                    I called again on 16/6/2010 at 6.55 p.m., when I did not receive any
                                    thing Mr.Sanjay of Indiatimes registered a new complasint no. 292165
                                    and told me the delivery will take 4 days and now it will be delivered
                                    on 20/06/2010.

                                    Again when it was not delivered I called on 22/06/2010 the same
                                    Mr.Sanjay gave me the same complaint no 292165 with new delivery date
                                    26/06/2010.

                                    I did not receive anything from Indiatimes and called again on
                                    28/06/2010 and one Mr.Pankaj Kumar first told that he can give me
                                    refund as they have no stock of Pen Camera, but when I insisted he
                                    told me to wait till 1st July 2010. On the other side they still are
                                    giving advertisements for the same product to lure public and
                                    simultaneously saying it is out of stock. I donot know when I will
                                    receive since I donot see positive intention of Indiatimes, this is
                                    a daylight robbery and cheating Indiatimes is commiting..


                                    Each time I called Indiatimes, they have kept me waiting for more than
                                    20 minutes and perhaps I may have to spend more on phone calls
                                    than the Pen Camera is worth, leave apart the time wasted on making
                                    futile phone calls to Indiatimes.

                                    I have read many complaints against Indiatimes Shopping on internet
                                    regarding the befooling of innocent public who fall their prey with
                                    their Advertising and waste their time and money.

                                    Is there no law enforcing Agency or forum in India who can take to
                                    task such inclandistine shopping shops .

                                    I will like to lodge a Police Complaint against India shopping
                                    chating, if my order is not accomplished in spite of so much follow
                                    up.

                                    Management of Indiatimes Shopping alongwith their Call Centre employees are soon going to be behind bars since they are the part and parcel of this Cheating company.
                                    All victimes of Indiatimes Shopping, good news is their employees are leaving the company for fear of arrest.

                                    Only their Managing Director alone will be running the company single handedly as in few days the company will be empty of manpower due to such cheating practices encouraged by the Managing Director.
                                    I agree with Mr. Abhishek, I'm also one of the victim on the Pen video cam scam... They promised to refund the amount, it's been 2 months, no show from them.

                                    i placed orders for a pencam after going through the newspaper. next day it came with some freebees. So, when i called up they said place the order for the second one and the money paid through credit card for the first order would be refunded. But it took some time to get the refund. Second time, i placed orders for the same thing, since i lost the one purchased. After placing the order over phone using credit card, i was told the transaction was declined and so placed orders on the4 same afternoon again through credit card. Then one person calls me from Indiatimes and says the first order is materialised. Therefore, i asked him to cancel the same. Instead of cancellilng oncew again another order was registered. Thus there were three orders. Finallly i got one order cancelled and got the refund after several weeks. one order materialised and i got the item. But, the one ordered first, which includes book club membership, has not been refunded so far and it is more than three months, nothing happened about the refund. but i feel they are taking advantage of the use of credit card in the transaction. No books were sent also, since they collected the book club membership amount of Rs.500/- in the first transaction. Now, i am thinking of going to the Consumer Forum. RAGHU P.S., MYSORE.

                                    However, they sent me some GilD chinese phone which is not same as Eiroga E series that i had paid for.

                                    I subscribed for 2 magazines from India Times shopping on 6 and 18 Oct, order numbers are[protected] and[protected]. I have not received any books from them as yet and my account was debited the next day. All their customer service numbers are wrong. On 14 Nov i managed to reached to to reach the Gujarat customer care who told me the books will be delivered with 3 and 7 working days, but not received any so far. When we write a complaint we only get automated reply.

                                    This is the most unprofessional organistaional I had to deal with. Could you please help me with this query.

                                    I have also Ordered Blackberry torch vide order No[protected] on[protected] Paid Rs 28289, they named dealer as Akansha Distributers Pvt Ltd as vendor, I Received Courier on[protected] containing sealed Box from Indiatimes...When I opened it was Vacant & No Mobile inside, it contains only Blackberry box with charger & Invoice...I complained on there given No's .talked to executive Jyotsana who gave me complaint No..& now they want verification etc etc etc...& more 8-10 days

                                    As per advertized in Mumbai mirror paper in 20 april 2011 this HTC ozone is 3G enabled to confirm that phone is supporting GSM 3G services I called indiatimes customer care they also confirmed same, hence I purchased this mobile. took Vodafone 3G connection and it was not working, to verify I went vodafone gallery they told me that this phone is not 3G enable.
                                    I again complaint in indiatimes shopping and i talk with Amit Kumar (Sr.Executive) and they refuse to take this product back. and when i told that i will complaint this matter in court he told me that do whatever you want to do i can’t help. So i need this indiatimes shopping close permanently otherwise they will do with other customer also.

                                    I have purchased a jewellery set from indiatimes shopping. I got only part of the set and register a complaint, sending mails and contacting customer care too. There is no good response from their end till now. I had got few part of the jewellery set since i had given the option to pay as Cash on delivery. Is there is any way i get the complete jewellery set.

                                    need beg them after giving our money.. executives those who pick call always says they dont have authority to answer your question... i dont know why the hell then they pick the call...

                                      I have been using indiatimes mail for last many years. Last month suddenly Ithe msg was relayed on my mail that it is under repair. After repairs all my old mails of past year which I had stored for reference to my business have been deleted. It seems that this has been done intentionaly since all my requests except one are not awnsred. I do not know if someone in india times can look into this and recover my old mails and avoid me of huge possible loss.
                                      One of my collegue commented few years back - Do not trust indiamail. I didnt listen and have suffered.
