Did Any person has received any amount from India Today Book club. If yes please share your views here. Recently I got a call from ITBC settlement department, and urging me to pay some Rs.55, 000/- mentioning it is an processing fee for some contest winning amount, (which was told by India today, Bag it today group years back). I want to know from the persons who are all been refunded by this settlement group.

      My complaint is regarding non-delivery of 'Prevention' magazine since Aug14 month. As per my online order number ITPI-WEB[protected] and payment made for One year subscription in Feb 2014, I should have started recieving the magazine from Mar/ Apr 2014 but the delivery started from May 2014 magazine. However, I have not received any magazine after July 2014 edition, that means only three magazines have been received by me till date. You are therefore requested to look into the matter and take action to deliver the magazines to my address, accordingly, at the earliest.Expecting an early reply/ action.

        This is Kishore Saladi; I made payment Rs.780 as yearly subscription (For Adidas free bag offer) on March 17th 2014 through ICICI credit card by on-line. For your information here I attached those payment details. Later India today people mailed me there is no free offer. Without free offer I didn't accept to take this subscription and I asked them to give refund. They told me with in 07 days I will get my refund. As of know I didn't get this... as and when I mailed to India today people they are telling that with in 7 to 8 working days we will respond. After that period they didn't give any reply, If i mail again they will mail again with in 7 to 8 working days we will respond. Like that they are not sending my refund. It's very pathetic experience from India today people. How many days I need to wait to get this refund from India today people? Please look into this and resolve this issue.           Hi, I got a call by a lady who gave her name as "Priya Jain - Phone number: [protected]" on the phone from Bag it today on 18th Oct 2014 at about 2:30 PM stating I've won 4.5 lacs award from bag it today & they want to start the process of transferring the said amount to my account by any one selected method, Online transfer or Cheque payment. But for this process I will need to buy a insurance policy from Bharti Axa Life Insurance that according to her will be just on paper & this amount will be paid by name of Bharti Axa just to show the government that is this money is given as a policy money & no tax (which according to her may vary from 30-40% of total amount) will be applicable on the won amount. She confirmed my details & gave me a file number & list of documents which will be forwarded to Bharti Axa people & I will get a call for the same for verification. 2 days later I got a call from guy who called himself "Sumit Segal Phone number: [protected]" on 20th Oct 2014 at around 12:20PM calling from Bharti Axa Life Insurance Office from Udaipur, Rajasthan. He also asked me to submit same list docs as said by Priya Jain before as mentioned below: 1. Photo. 2. Address Proof. 3. PAN card. 4. Cancelled cheque of the bank in which the winning amount to be credited. 5. Rs 35000 cheque in favour Bharti Axa Life Insurance co. Ltd. to below address: Sumit Segal c/o BHARTI-AXA LIFE INSURANCE CO. LTD 1st Floor, Jeevan Jyoti Complex, City Station Road, Surajpole Udaipur Rajasthan-313001. As soon as he get these documents, he said i'll get all call from Bharti Axa head office in Mumbai for further verification & they will send me the policy documents at my address which they will ask during verification. Once the policy is opened, the prize amount will be transferred to my account & once that in done in abt 30-45 days, he will send me withdrawal form on submission of which I'll ge my 35000 back from Bharti Axa. When I told him that I stay in Pune, he said I'll have to courier these documents along with signed cheques to Bharti Axa office in Udaipur. When I told him that instead of sending courier to Udaipur, I can submit them at local Bharti Axa office here in Pune, he started giving excuses such as there are total 27 winners & files are in Udaipur only & all processing will be done from Udaipur. I doubted him when he told me there are all agents sitting in Bharti Axa offices & if they get the file number they might add some check flags by which he will then have to process actual policy instead of showing it on paper for money transfer. Also when asking him to send me all such details on mt email, he simply told that he is a salesman & his job is to roam around different cities, he started mentioning some of them, & he does not email access right now. But instead he will send me all these details via SMS & asked me send the docs ASAP as there are Diwali holidays coming up & he wants to start the processing before diwali so i'll get my payment as soon as diwali holidays are over. But I told him that I'll be sending them post diwali on which said is OK & told me call him if I've any doubts or any help is needed for this. To my surprise, the address given by this guy to send the courier to is indeed the actual address of Bharti Axa Udaipur branch as given on their website. https://www.bharti-axalife.com/applications/branches I know this is fraud for which you never get paid but still i'm wondering how a account payee cheque drawn in the name of Bharti Axa Life Insurance can be claimed by the an individual & the courier address to be one of branch of Bharti axa office? If yes, then is there some insider in a big brand name such as Bharti Axa along with India today group duping people by making fraudulent calls & asking them to pay the money? If anybody from Bharti Axa is reading this, please check into this or people are tempted to believe such calls & cheque demands in name of branded & reputed companies as they have a trust that such big companies would never attempt to dupe people of money in this way. So all now I can say is "Please beware do not pay any money".

          I too got the similar call just now. These calls are surely bogus calls. Only luring simple people like us. BEWARE GUYZ, Don't fall into their trap.

              It is really pathetic service of Bag it today .. I will never recommend my circle to go and shop at Bag it today ever ... I have placed an order on 30th of September, 2014, no clue till day after 21 days. No communication from Bag it today. Whenever I go and ask about my consignment.. they ask for more time.. only assurance no results. PLS DON'T SHOP FROM BAG IT TODAY. My order no. is 34035765.

Let me remind you that to what extend the customer can be taken for granted or harassed. I paid on line subscription through net banking via Indiamags.com 27 MARCH 2014. Nothing happened till June !!!. After my complaint initially you denied having any records of my subscription, after the reminder and proof you accepted and issued me a subscription code. Few magazines have started delivery in July, almost all of them, Damaged, torn and wet, not readable, in fact I had to reject one of the issue, that time I mailed you the pictures of wet and damaged magazine copies. From August onwards I had not received any magazines. I complained to you twice . Two issues were received from Noida and a rebok handbag. That is in September. I complained again in october.                       Dear Sir/Madam, Firstly I order (Order #[protected] bagittoday for some jewellery and paid Cash on delivery. I received my parcel on 18/09/2014 but delivery was incomplete. I have called (complain #1649711) on the no given on website and also inform through website compiled portal. but there was not proper feedback from there end. Similarly I have inform then through call and web compiled portal, but seem no action. they have re send me parcel, but even that was incomplete, they have send me the parcel twice but both the time same mistake. as per mail they where 6 item shown over website, but they are only sending again and again single earing. I am strictly on the view that they should be banned for being telemarketing due to miscommitments, cheating habits, fraudulent behaviour, misguiding, non-ethical techniques of the sales team, etc and license of the company should be cancelled. Strict action also be taken on them so that no one else tried to make such type of fake commitments etc

                          This is with reference to my INDIA TODAY ENGLISH EDITION subscription reference no. ITE 1944711 which was activated with effect 30th December 2013 and is supposed to be valid till 19 December 2016 The India Today magazine is NEVER DELIVERED ON TIME. In fact all issues of the magazine have been delivered atleast a month after they are available on the stands. This is a racket wherein the subscribers in spite of paying money in advance are delivered copies which are returned from the stands. There is no value derived from receiving delayed copies of a current events magazine. Considering the fact that this is a weekly magazine - this is a very large scam. Accordingly, I my entire subscription amount Rs. 3600/- which has been collected needs to be refunded immediately since the subscription contract has not been honoured. It may be noted that today that is on 1st October 2014, I have received six issues (August 25 -2014, September 1-2014, September 22 – 2014, September 29 – 2014, and October 6, 2014). This is highly irregular. I have also confirmed that the issue is not caused by delay in the postal department – PUBLISHERS OF INDIA TODAY ARE DELIBERATELY NOT DISPATCHING COPIES. REGARDS, BHAVEN.

                                      This organization and their customer service team are just the most unprofessional staff to deal with. I have repeatedly faced issues with receiving my magazines on time. Finally, I gave up all hope of this being sorted out and asked them to cancel my subscription and refund the amount. It has been several months and despite multiple follow-ups, including assurances by their customer representatives that the cheque will be dispatched in a week's time, there is no resolution. The worst is the absence of any responsibility on the team's part or any willingness to help the customer.
