I need to update the bank account register number to new number. I tried updating through online portal but i found no such options.

When checked through customer care service, i came to know that only way to update the number is to go to bank directly and request via letter.

I am staying too far away from the bank, infact i am in another state. I really find it is very difficult to travel to bank for this small change where technologies have been developed vast.

It seems to be very poor online service and not upto standards!!

      I am hariharan e, i opened my account in iob on 29-08-17 in chitlapakkam branch, tambaram sanatorium, tambaram, chennai. Today i submitted a cheque in the chitlapakkam branch for the purpose of encashing it. But they refused to collect the cheque which was dated on 27 july 17. Though it has two more month of time to become an outdated cheque, they refused to collect my cheque and also they are saying its not in the rule to collect a cheque before six month from the date on which the account has opened. They asked to use my other bank accounts to do the transactions. Its completely not a proper manner to deal with a customer and completely worst behaviour from a banker. But i want to proceed in a legal manner to complaint here to get my service from your bank now and in the future too. So please take a action against this complaint and the bankers who were doing like this to their customer.

          Sub: my complaint dated 4.8.2017, but i have not received any reply from you till now - reg.
          I had attempted to withdraw money from icici bank cantonment branch, trichy atm of rs. 10000 on 24.4.2017. The amount has been debited in my account. But not received cash. 2 complaints this regarding to the branch manager of indian overseas bank, district court branch. Subsequently i had received the message from indian overseas bank central office chennai, your complaint has resolved (My complaint id is[protected]. But still now the amount has not credited my account. I also approached the icici bank, cantonment branch trichy and explained my transaction details. They have not take any steps or any response to me. Kindly take necessary action to my complaint to credit the amount in my account as early as possible.

            I am hereby informing you regarding some misbehave by the banker (Branch manager mr. Kanhiya lal)
            My name is mr. Dhan bhadur s/o prem bhadur, i visited my nearest bank indian overseas bank have to some requirement to the branch manager behaviors was very discussing he addressed me nepali to not a resident of india he said nepali persona not supposed to work in india.in the mean time i am maintaining my saving account with the said bank. How come senior bank manager speak in such a bad language?? My all kyc are deposited in bank.
            Kindly look into the matter and take some action.

              मेरे sb खाता संख्या [protected], indian overseas bank, hinoo branch से दिनांक 10.06.17 को मेरे atm कार्ड के द्वारा 6, 403 रुपए 50 पैसे की निकासी कर ली गई है| जबकि ये निकासी मेरे द्वारा नही की गई है| इसकी लिखित सूचना मैंने अपने बैंक के शाखा प्रबन्धक को दिनांक 12.06.17 को दिया तथा दिनांक 20.06.17 को online comp id[protected] तथा दिनांक 04/07/17 को comp id[protected] द्वारा बैंक को सूचित किया |परंतु बिना कोई जानकारी दिए क्रमश: 07.07.17 और 21.08.17 को मेरे cell phone पर sms द्वारा सूचित किया गया कि उपर्युक्त comp id close कर दिए गए हैं|
              श्रीमान से अनुरोध है कि मुझे जानकारी दी जाय कि मेरे खाते से 6403.50 रुपए कैसे निकल गए तथा वो मुझे कब और कैसे प्राप्त होंगे?

                Sir, I am working as Assistant executive Engineer and recently transferred to salem. I newly opened my saving bank account in IOB Leigh bazaar branch on 25.7.17 till date I am not received debit card for my new SB account Ano.[protected] kindly issue debit card early.w without debit card, I am unable to do my transaction. Please issue debit card as early as possible.

You have debited the amount from my account but the online shoppers dint get the fund and they said that the transaction has failed.                     I took home loan 2 years back. My bank suddenly deducted rupees 19760 saying that it is the insurance amount which was supposed to be deducted... But i wad not informed about such thing at the time of taking loan. Every month we have calculated salaried.. How come a bank can do such insane thing. I went to my branch twice but the manager was not there and the branch people said something very hurting... Ki madam paise katengay toh bura toh lagega he..

                    Somebody purchased something by using my account on dates 16 and 17 aug2017 l attached an image of my passbook for your referral. Kindly check and give back my money to my account.

                      This has reference to 1649562 regarding misbevior by branch manager iob.

                      In view of above, yet to receive response from iob side.
                      Complain has been closed intensionaly and deliberately.
                      No solution to complain has been provided.
                      Branch of iob khaghaul has not fulfilled his obligation. Branch refused to provide cash inspite of having balance in the account. Also branch manager misbehaved.

                            Website: Billdesk and iob internet transfer via debit card

                            I paid money to nptel exam course through bill desk using atm card but money debited from m y account by procedure but transaction failed and money has not returned back. My acc last no belongs to chockanathan puthur near rajapalayam virudhunagar tamilnadu. I paid using atm card and pin in billdask.com website i entered otp and all but my momey in account gets debited but transaction to required site failed. It has been 2 days since i paid but money yet not returned

                              I have done a wrong imps transaction of amount rs.5000 to a syndicate bank account no[protected] instead of [protected] on 23.02.2017. It shows that the transaction is successful although the account is invalid. The amount hasn't been credited back to my account. I have visited the branch in person and also mailed the complaint from the transaction date yet there is no response. The branch manger is not responding properly and refering some worse quotes.

                                Today my wife visited your bank at anankaputhur branch, pallavaram, chennai-600070 for opening an account. She went to your branch with a group of ladies for the purpose of " mahilar kuzhu account opening. One of the worst experience for them in their life because of your concern branch manager, he his conveying that there is no concern person to opening the account for today but he is conveying the same in a rubbish and harsh manner with ladies in front of all..
                                As she is working women she taken a leave and went for this purpose. But the way he handled the situation not satisfactory and worst experience, he asked her to come on wednesday can you please suggest me how it possible. For the sake of account opening we want to take leave again as she is working profession also. Even though she went with all documents but he didn’t show a mind to open the document and verify it simply he asked go out or else wait to till 5 o clock. She was with our 3yrs old kid. But your branch manager not given a single consideration. Is this the way your branch manager behaving with the customer even she is a lady with a kid in her hand.
                                Kindly consider this complaint in serious manner; at least from your side i am expecting a solution for this.

                                  My name is sanchit jain. I went to iob main branch (Opp vishal market, main road). I asked them to link uid with my salary account. I asked him to confirm my signature but he refused even though i presented my passbook. He was rude to me. I am very disapointed. The officials should co operate with the customer. When he was seeing me live in front of him. Then he should have resolved the problem immediately

                                    Today i paid rs 1041 to mtnl delhi towards my landline telephone no[protected][protected] id) through bill desk gateway but same has not reached to mtnl and my account has been debited to rs 1051 as under

                                      Iam shankar having an a/c in the iob in ullikkottai (Code branch-2796) a/c no 3559 when i tried to withdraw rs.10000 from my a/c on 6th february 2017 from the atm at mannargudi and also18th february 2017 from the atm at pattukkottai tried to withdraw rs. 10000, but both time i could not recievd any money and any reciept from the atm. But when i checked the balance from the other atm after an hour the balance was deducted from my a/c.
                                      I have already given the complain to the iob ullikkottai branch three times but till now no any reply come not the money.

                                        I have using the debit card in morning 16 aug2017. At 4 o clock Using SBI ATM center I am not receiving the money my account no [protected], nirmal branch, adilabad dist, , plz credit the amount in my account urgently.during the time already 48 hours done.please check and credit the amount in my account, urgent.as per request facing so many problems .
                                        Indian Overseas Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
