i have my ticket reserved which is of 30-apr-2014. I am not travelling so i wanted to cancel the ticket. The website is down and i am unable to cancel my ticket and when i will cancel on my ticket on 30-apr-2014 i will get less refund amount which i would have got 1 day before. This is the fault of irctc since they are unable to keep the website running/up. The extra money which i will have to lose is the fault of irctc.

    I need to take print out of ticket, i was trying for past one hour (at 4 : 40 PM 29/4), i suppose it is not a peak time My network is ok able do web banking, but not able even take print out is there any change to improve services at least this kind of services? is there any site / url for ticket printing?i very sorry to this site is not fit for commercial activities in public services. It is becoming bad to worst day by day Horrible site, ONLY GOD CAN SAVE US regards Ramana [protected]

      While IRCTC team had communicated to public at large that new light version of website will assist the consumer with faster access and provide easy in booking of online ticket this has been a total failure as the performance of the website is even poor than the earlier version. It is surprise to see such a such upgradation of Indias largest online portal is of no use to common man...

        Many people book the e-ticket on Internet but after cancellation of such ticket not bothered to see whether the amount is credited into their bank account due to their busy schedule and otherwise. It is highly essential to investigate any scam around in such refund as many such cases of non receipt of refund amount is alarmingly increasing.

          Dear TO WHOMSOEVER ITS CONCERNED, I have booked the ticket from HOTGI to MYSORE on 28th April through tatkal quota as there was no availablity from Gulbarga to Mysore.My boarding point is Gulbarga. Now If I want to change the boarding from HOTGI to Gulbarga there is no option for me and also I will need to cancel the ticket in order to change the boarding point.If I cancel the ticket 1.Tatkal ticket cannot be cancelled. 2.Cannot edit the boarding point 3.If I book another ticket from Gulbarga to Mysore am sure that it will get confirm. So request the authorities to provide an option to update the boarding point after the ticket is booked irrespective of the quota. TICKET Details : PNR NO : [protected] TRAIN : 17308 DOJ:28/4/2014 TIME : 18:32 HG TO GR S6 - 1, 3, 4, 6 FAIR : 1670 DOB:27/04/2014 Regarding the above mentioned information I had been personally to Mysore railway station hoping that I can change the boarding point. To my surprise the staff who was responsible to answer the enquiries informed that I should contact the railway authority before 48 hours of ticket booking time. Tatkal Quota gets activated only before 24 hours of date of journey. Please explain me that how will I be able to approach them withou ticket as mentioned by the staff. After insisting this the person was very rude and answered "sanka dinda bandre thirta" (go and ask supervisor). I did contacted the supervisior and he rudely answered to me that I should approach the IRCTC for such request. Who can help me on this? Regards, Gunda Raddy

            Boarding time:19.55

            Depature time : 8.00


            we waiting for the train in sattur railway station from 19.30 on 25.04.2014 but nobody announcement about the above named train till 20.50 than we enquire the station master VINOD KUMAR . he enquired and asked to us "the said train passed from this station today morning (25.04.2014) . so i need the compensation Rs.2, 50, 000/-from the railway department for the reason of inaccurate information and her incovininience of travel and waste of time

              Hi, I request to the Indian Railway ministry to improve the response time of the irctc.co.in site. We really got fed up with the way site response on each action performed. Please do something to save the time of people. We do opt for online booking to save the time and avoid the long queues at the railway booking counters but online booking is taking more time than manual booking counters. For such a populated country having the single site for booking the tickets would not be sufficient and if having the single site is the limit then you should maintain the high end servers which can respond very fast to the user requests. Though IRCTC app is launched for Windows 8 phone but still many people don't use the same as most of the population are still using windows XP or Windows 7 or Andriod, IOS7. In the proof attached with the complain you can see that I highlighted the loading symbol on the top left corner even after selecting the payment mode. I nearly waited for 30 minutes for next page to appear. I request you to seriously look into this matter and think over these concerns. Thanks, Bhupender Agarwal

                1. I am trying to book the ticket during tatkal and normal timings, many times my money got was transferred to IRCTC but booking failed due to the IRCTC web site very slow response, it get time out. 2. Again so am wasting my time again logging into the website, they charge so much for tatkal tickets and online booking, why cannot they maintain the website properly. 3. There are many technologies available now a days they can use that example cloud they can use that infrastructure during peak hours say morning 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM 4. An legal case has to be filed against the railway department and minister regarding the same., 5. May people say around 18 - 20 lakh people are affected per day think how many per year. 6. Who will pay for our time which we are wasting in booking tickets. Please take this has a serious issue, one more think they have to pay interest for the money what ever is getting detected from account for one week or what ever it is till the repayment with bank interest.

                  Today i.e 26.04.2014 in the morning i.e from 6.00 am onwards, i am trying to book the railway ticket from KCG - Tenali by Repelly Passenger as after 8.00 am IRCTC web site was not opening and processing very slowly.
                  .
                  IRCTC web site is opening and fill up all passenger details along with my credit card details. In the last page, OTP is not generating even though i tried so many times. I click resend OTP option also. Even though, OTP is not generating . I fed up with this situation.

                  After 8.00 AM, all OTP received my cell phone at a time and automatically. Now what is the use ? That means Up to 8.00 AM, IRCTC web site was not functioning properly may be technical mistake or human mistake or manipulating .

                  After 8.00 am, IRCTC web site was not opening at all. So please enquiry on this matter.

                    Hello, I had booked a ticket (PNR no [protected]) to travel from Ajmer(Aii) to Jaipur (JP) on 24th Feb 2014 but i could not travel, so i filed a TDR on same day i.e. 24th Feb 2014. However the TDR has been rejected on 22-Apr-2014 with the reason "No EDR has been filed against this particular PNR". If the TT did not file an exception data report then why am I being penalized ?                             today 21.04.2014 i made a payment through credit card icici bank in irctc for booking of travelling tickets to train, i booked four tickets and hence payment has been process but till now i dint yet got a tickets and website shows the transation has failed has been failed. i kindly request you to help me to get my refund amt or else processed for booking tickets..

                                  The Indian Railways Online booking website: https://www.irctc.co.in is a useless website that wastes the precious time and energies of its consumers. Bookings take upto four hours. The site closes midway. Money is debited but tickets not booked. The deducted money takes upto ten days for refund while no interest is paid. This organisation is deficient in service. 'Experience the new lightweight version of website during tatkal hours' is also useless. Venkatesh Naidu

                                  All the users had a bad experience booking the ticket from IRCTC website. In spite of many complaints the logged by the consumers Indian Railway ministry pays to attention to the public concerns.                                     I have filed TDR for 3Tier AC ticket for ticket dated 13 Feb 2014 1 day before actual departure, i didn't traveled on 13/02/2014 with PNR no [protected] on Train no 12443,

                                    But IRCTC send me mail "With Reference to your PNR No:[protected], we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Railways through their letter no : CNR190214V59231 and the reason being : 'As per chart, passenger has travelled' "
                                    this is complete lie and mafia elements in IRCTC with TT sold ticket to any other person

                                    you can see my IRCTC Booking history that i have traveled on 16/02/2014 in Train number 02815 with PNR no [protected].

                                    How can it be possible that i traveled on 13/02/2014 and after 3 days on 16/02/2014 from Gaya to New Delhi.

                                    Please check it properly, otherwise i will file case in consumer court.

                                      Number of Tickets : 6

                                      I would like to inform you that the above six tickets were booked on 23 Oct 2013 and the status for the same was showing as waitlisted for the journey commenced on 22 Dec 2013. Please note only three out of the same was declared as RAC on the journey date.

                                      Further, kindly note that I have still not received the refund credits for the unconfirmed tickets from your end.

                                      Please check and do the needful at the earliest.
