I had file the TDR against the PNR no .[protected] . Reason: I am travelling from Kanpur Central to Anand Vihar Terminal through train 22405 Bagalpur to AnandVihar Garib Rath on 23/3/14 at 2:55 AM. But I came to known that train was late and it will come on 24/3/14 on Monday. So I raised the TDR process on 23/3/14 at 10:23 AM.. Now IRCTC says that train was not late and it came on 23/3/14 at right time. However i manage to get the prove from Kanpur Cental railway authority that train was late and came on 24/3/14 on plat form no.2 . If you can ask i will share with you.     taking bribe by coach attendants in train no. 12975

    Inspite of having RAC, passengers were not given berths and are travelling as 2 persons in one berth, as the coach attendants here asking bribe and giving seating arrangements for the waiting list people. And empty berths were occupied by attendants. This is a clear case of corruption. Really after paying we have to face such a poor situation. Being a lady i have to go all the way sharing my seat with some stranger. Is this called protecting...

    Hello Sir,

    PNR No. "[protected] " date of journey 18 Jan. 2014 The Train was late for more than 5 hours .actual time of departure was after 06:50 AM on 18 Jan.2014 and TDR Filed on 18 Jan 2014 at approx 09:30 AM. As per revised rule (D) Train Running More than Three hours Late.

    That day passenger traveled another train with Journal ticket


    Full refund is permissible if refund is obtained/online TDR filed before actual departure of the train. No refund is admissible if ticket is cancelled/online TDR is filed after actual departure of the train but it is found that my TDR has been regretted. Why not known. it is requested to look into the matter for redressal of the same on priority basis.

        I have booked a ticket on 26-Mar-2014 having pnr no [protected], and my transaction ID was [protected]. I then cancelled this ticket on 27-MAR-2014, as ticket was not confirmed.           Sir, I had booked under eticket option through my user ID and password in the website of irctc on 10th April at 03.28 PM for journey from H.Nizamuddin to Bangalore City on 9th June 2014 in train No.22694 (Radhani) and made payment through SBI Internet Banking and amount of Rs.2422.47 (under senior citizen quota) and amount debited to my current a/c.No.[protected] maintained at SBI, Bangalore City. However, eticket not generated and PNR not sent to my mobile No. so far. I had checked booked history also but no information therein. It appears that the transaction has failed after payment.             I have booked a ticket on 30-MAR-2014 having pnr no [protected], and my transaction ID was [protected]. I then cancelled this ticket same day on 30-MAR-2014. But still i have not got the refunded money for it while IRCTC shows that amount has been refunded.My cancellation Receipt Number:[protected] Refund Date: 03-APR-2014Cancelled Date: 30-MAR-2014 Refund Amount: Rs 1260.0 .IRCTC is showing the refund status as refunded on 3rd April.But i have not get any amount in my account. I have done the payment by Bank of Baroda debit card which is visa card.

              Dear Sir, On 06.04.2014 made online ticket payment of Rs.111.24/- through my BOI Debit card. My transaction was failed with error "Reasons: sorry!We are unable to process your transaction.Please contact us at [protected]@billdesk.com for any queries".Due to holiday bank entry was on 07.04.2014.                 While booking Rly reservation on[protected] an amount of Rs.91.24 deducted from my account but ticket not booked with reason shown in failed transaction report "payment not received from Bank. But while verifying the IRCTC a/c No. [protected] with Central Bank of India, from nearby Branch, it is found that amount of Rs.91.24 duly credited in IRCTC a/c to the debit of my Savings a/c.(Journal No.[protected].                   When i started booking my ticket in TATKAL Quota from Mayiladuthurai(TN) To Chennai the availability of ticket was 117 then i started booking, when i came to the passenger details page there it showed the Ticket availabilty as 79.So i proceeded with the process and in the payment screen the Ticket availabilty was 79, so i proceeded with the payment with my citi bank credit card then after all the process completion my Ticket Status was CKWL 23, 24, 25. I never asked for a Wait List Ticket and I was Booking the Available ticket only, If there is No Available Tickets the system should not Proceed and How can i get a Wait List Ticket without prior information on their payment screen. Date Of Booking : 05/04/2014 Date of Journey : 06/04/2014 No Of Passengers : 3 Quota : Tatkal Status when i sarted booking : Available 117 Seats Passenger information page : Available 79 Seats Payment Page Twice : Available 79 Seats After Booking ticket : CKWL 23, 24, 25 (Wait List) E-mail : peter.[protected]@gmail.com

                    i m trying to book ticket for allahabad, hardly few seats are available such as 1A only 8 seats are there, 2A also. within few minutes all tickets are reserved and if you see available tickets then also while payment takes place waiting list starts then there is no other option then to cancel the ticket and the refund will take 10-15 days

                    Same happened with me, when I tried to book from JHS to SBC. Only 4 seats for III AC of Rajdhani, which is impossible, Its fully AC train, how can be 4 seats only.

                      it is to informed that a ticket containing PNR NO.[protected] booked on 05.03.2014 which was cancelled on 26.03.2014 after cancelling, balance amount to Rs.1580/- and another ticket containing PNR NO.[protected] booked on 26.02.2014 and cancelled on 26.03.2014, balance amount Rs.1185/- has not been refunded/credited in my bank of Baroda account till date. i have enquired about the refund amount from concerned bank and the bank personnel intimated that the said amount has not been credited in the name of bank of baroda. Then i tried to confirm from IRCTC No.[protected], who informed me that the amount has been refunded vide receipt No.[protected] for amount of Rs.1580/- and another receipt no. I couln't write down. Regarding cancellation of both the tickets and refunded amount I have already message on my mobile No.[protected] on 26.03.2014 at 01.51 & 01.55 p.m. from IRCTC, but said amount has not been credit in my bank account till date. Therefore, it is, requested to enquire into the matter and arrange to make the payment in my account at the earliest, to that i can faithfully operate your IRCTC account.                         my pnr no. [protected] and name mohd aslam beig supposed travel to mumbai on 2nd mar by garib rath with my another service mate although some how i did not travel but my service travelled to mumbai on the same ticket which was done through irctc for two persons. one travelled to mumbai and i file a tdr on the same date as on 02 mar before train journey started. i got reply that ur money will not be refunded as on 18 mar without any of justified reason and transation id no.[protected] please help me out for the same

                          hi, this is vipul. I had tried to book a ticket from pune to nagpur on 22nd march 2014 from citi bank debit card but the transaction had failed. The transaction amount was Rs.1367.47 and transaction id [protected]. The bank customer care says contact irctc, the irctc says we have refunded the amount but are not able to generate the arn number.

                            This is in reference to the ticket availed for my parents today over the Internet using IRCTC Online Ticketing site. We fail to understand why you do not have any reservation for Senior Citizen/ Aged Ladies in terms of Seat Allocation.How can you expect a Sr. Citizen/ Aged Ladies to use the Upper Birth Considering their age. Don’t you have any logic set in your weird system to understand this universal fact & be fair.

                            Is there a way we can at least expect to get one Lower birth on Humanitarian ground for such cases ... ? let me know if you care.

                              Hi, I travelled in Chennai express from Chirala to Chennai. I have reservation ticket with me. There are some people who are travelling in reservation compartment having general ticket. TTE charged each one of them Rs.400 and more and allotted the berth but he didn't given receipt for payment to anyone. He almost collected Rs. 2000 in my compartment only. Below are the details Train No: 12604 Train name: Chennai Express Date: 24/03/2014 (date mentioned as per chirala arrival time) Compartment: S2 I missed to note his name.                                 Dear sir / madam, Whenever we are trying to book ticket with IRCTC, nowadays we are always facing the above said problem and we are not able to book the tickets. Also we are getting the debit message from our banker but the ticket was not booked in the IRCTC. We are getting the money back from IRCTC for the unbooked tickets, but we are facing the problem for the tickets are not booked for emergency situations. Hence you can avoid this problem for the individual ID holders who are not booking any bulk booking and block the agents ID at the time of TATKAL booking time. Also kindly request you to increase the speed of IRCTC website. Thanking you N Jayakrishnan

                                  Dear Sir, I made an internet ticket from irctc website on dated 21/01/2014 (for journey on date 7/02/2014, Kota Jn. To Ahmedabad, PNR No. [protected], Train name” Parasnath Exp.”) Train was supposed to arrive at Kota jn railway station at 5.50 PM on 07/02/2013, but when i reached at station, I was informed that train is late more than two hours. I waited there for approx 1 hour & again it announced that now train is late more than three hours, so I came back to home & near about 7.00 PM on same day I approached to IRCTC for cancellation of my E-ticket. On website of IRCTC, It showed that cancellation of said ticket is not permissible as the chart was already prepared, so it suggested that I have to File TDR. So as suggested I went to file my TDR on IRCTC website & selected the genuine reason which was “train was late more than three hours & passenger did not travel”. So I cancelled my plan to travel on that day due to heavy rush in each train as well as non-availability of confirm birth. That’s why I booked another ticket through Reservation counter of Kota to reach Ahmadabad. On dated 22/02/2014 I received a mail from IRCTC stated “refund is not admissible as the train was on time that day”. I got surprised & questioned to myself that, is it possible that Indian railway do not have any record of their running trains (i.e. at what time which train reaches on which station)? How they can become so irresponsible to say that train was on time. I felt they acted very unprofessionally. Actually on that day train was late more than 10 hrs. So I replied of this mail but didn’t receive any replay from concern. Again I reminded them through various mails but every time received no response. So finally i decided to approach to consumer court. And one major thing is that, due to this delay; I couldn’t attend my exam officially, which was scheduled on 08/02/2014 at Ahmadabad. So you are requested to please look in to the matter & take some strict action against IRCTC and also arrange for suitable recompense to me.                                     Dear Sir,

                                    I booked tickets with PNR no. [protected] from irctc On 2nd November 2013 from Hyderabad to Bilaspur for two passenger including my wife with 9 months old child in talkal facility, Out of which only one ticket got confirmed. Since i could not leave my wife and child i could not traveled and filed a TDR for refund for the ticket not got confirmed withing 1 hour of departure of the train. After which i am following up since last 5 months from IRCTC and got reply as per railway i traveled on the same train alone. Same day and almost on same time i had book another train with PNR no. [protected] from Hyderabad to Nagpur which got confirmed and i traveled on the same train with my family which is proof of my not traveling with earlier train. I need your help to get my refund of Rs Aprox 4500 from IRCTC of refund.

                                    Total cost of Ticket was Rs 4500 aprox for two and since its not confirmed i was supposed to get refund of both the ticket with minimum charges deduction. In this way i am expecting Rs 4300 aprox as refund. Now its already 5 months gone and i was regularly following up with IRCTC they asked me to contact Patne Railway Incharge who insulted me and asked not to followup with them and followup with IRCTC. This all followup cost me some where around Rs 3000 more.

                                    I want my refund back of ticket and compensation for the time spend on followup with my phone and internet bills.

                                    I was booking a TATKAL ticket from Siwan Jn(SV) to New Delhi (ndls) On 09 june 2015 in Bihar Sampark Kranti at 10:02 AM by my IRCTC Account ambuj30.
                                    My Transaction id is [protected].₹ 617.8 had debited from SBI Debit card but PNR not given And Status was Reservation Failed.I have contacted IRCTC inquiry no 139 they told that money will be credited back within 72 hours but till my money had not been refunded back to SBI Debit card account.

                                      My name is deepak devre i booked online reservation of ticket from baroda to bombay in vadodara express for 24 march time 22.30 and done online payment from my standarad chartered debit card and than i book onother online ticket from bandra to baroda in Bhuj Express but on my first transaction the aamount of ticket worth rs. 1837.47 of 3 tire AC is diducted from my account and your on line travel portal showing a error... then i done another transaction for ticket its showing sucsesfull transaction and i got the reservation bit what about my second transaction the ammount has been deducted from my account worth rs 1837.47, how can i get it back in my account please inform me ASAP...
