    dear sir this is dr kapil agrawal from K.E.M. Hospital, Mumbai. yesterday i was travelling from Golden temple mail from mathura jn to bct. coach attendent didnot attend us to provide bedsheets, blankets and pillow covers etc. even after 8 hrs of journey. i tried to find him in pantry and other possible locations and asked many vendors but couldnot find him then i asked the ticket checker but he also didnot know. same time one co- passenger at aroun 7pm told me that attendent is sleeping inside the cupboard meant to store bedsheets and blanket etc. i woke him up and asked to give the bedsheets etc. he said straight that he doesnt have any as railway is not providing enough. i asked him to call superior and to bring complaint book but he didnot pay any heed.when i asked ticket checker again and asked him to provide complaint book then he asked attender to some bed sheets. attender then brought 4 bed shhets for 4 berth instead 8 and said itna hi hai itne se hi kaam chalao, despite repeated request to provide complaint book both attender and Tc didnot provide and said jo karna hai karlo. pantry person also charged rs 100 for each plate of veg. lunch and didnot provide any bill. the food was pathetic to say the least. this is just too much if consumer is denied getting basic facilities and cant even get complaint book to make a complain against the erring rly employees despite paying extra charges every time then better not to have any complaint book at all and leave the aam janta to suffer.my coach was B3, seats, 46, 57, 60 and 63.

      Dear Sir, I did a ticket booking from Bangalore to Nandyal on 13Nov13 for the Journey on 15Dec13 .My amount got debited from the bank but when I saw the status in IRCTC the ticket booking was showing as failed. But the amount was not credited to my account .Status was showing amount refunded on 15Nov13 but I didn't receive my amount. Please take it as a serious concern .Otherwise people may lose faith on the IRCTC website.         Respected Sir/Madam,

        I Kishor Chillal had filed for TDR as per the guidance provided by the station master (Bengaluru - Yeshwantpur(YPR)) as I did not boarded the train because it got delayed by more than 5 hours.

        I had booked 2 AC tatkal ticket (Pnr Number: [protected]) to travel from Bengaluru (YPR) to Mumbai (CSTM) but the Chalukya Express (Train No: 11022) which was supposed to start at approximately 6:30 AM on 21st September 2013 from yeshwantpuram (YPR) got delayed by more than 5 hours which was inconvienent for me to reach mumbai as I had a very important business meeting with client @ 9 AM on 22nd September 2013.

        On my travel date i.e 21st september 2013 as per the intial announcement I waited till 10:30 AM but the arrival of Chalukya Express (Train No: 11022) to yeshwantpur(YPR) was further delayed thereby defeating my purpose to travel to mumbai so I approached the Station Master where I was informed that as per the IRCTC rule the Tatkal Ticket will be refunded if the train is delayed by 3 hours of it's actual schedule hence I filed the TDR for cancelling my ticket and availaing the Refund but now I see that the request is being REGRETTED.

        I would request you to please consider my case and reopen the filed TDR and process the refund.

They are saying that they cannot refund the money back. I feel like being cheated. Please find attached the ticked I booked. I want my money back.

            I booked two 1A tickets for 7600/- in Train no: 12839, journey date 26/10/2013 from Howrah to Chennai, PNR Number: [protected] and Transaction ID: [protected], but due to heavy rain Railway department cancelled the train at last movement without any information to passengers through SMS or Email. When train was cancelled by railway department as a passenger in emergency first we will see for alternative source to travel we won?t see for amount and how to get it. we travel led from there to Chennai by private cab and it took almost three days to reach Chennai, then how can we go for that cancel process. sir in normal condition if we failed to travel and if we fail to file TDR its Ok but the train was cancelled by Railway Department then how can it take over money when we didn't travel in that train. When I contact them they said it?s their rules to cancellation the ticket in online in 3 day and TDR file in 7 days for train called by department also. My statement is when train was cancelled by railway department its duty to refund the customers amount automatically railway don?t have rights to own customer amount when he didn?t travel in it. Railway department is cheating its Passenger saying its own rules. So kindly do the needful to get back the amount.

              I appreciate introduction of Tatkal Seva whcih is mainly meant for benefit of individual passengers. But it has been observed that from last updation of tatkal site, one cannot open the site and when it opens, the status shows WL. I have strong objection against the system and request the Rly Mgt to take strict action against agents, who is openining this site during 10 and to 12 noon and book tkt for their clients and earn a lot (black market). This moticates the corruption and more important, needy travellers could not get the tkt ini emergency. I request Railway Authority to strictly prohibite agents and instruct TC to check properly whether individual has booked the tkt or by agent. If passenger found booked by agent, take action against them also. Moreover, improve software / site with increase in facilities so that individual can easily open and book their tkt. This will serve the main purpose of introducing this facility and people can get tkt withouot hassles. I will highly apreciate for your taking strict actions against this.

                we have booked one tatkal tacket this morning but all the things have been done except the generation of ticket we waited for more then one hour but it could not be generated so we close that tab...and as it is urgent for us to book ticket so we go for other trains and booked the ticket there...now the previous ticket shows us that it was booked at that time but we had closed the tab before the ticket has been generated...now we want our previous ticket back...help us.

                    Sir,
                    I filed TDR at IRCTC on 5/7/2013 as the train was running more than 19 Hrs late.

                    For last six months I have been waiting for the refund. IRCTC customer support says hat they have not received refund from indian railways but how come I am concerned with that. I pay Irctc service charges so its the duty of IRCTC to get the Refund from railways and credit it back to me.

                    The details of the train and journe aare as below :

                    TDR Date - 5/07/2013

                    Reason for TDR- Train running more than 3 hrs late and passenger didn't traveled.

                      vide order no IRSP4639801 online purchase of one saree was made and cost of Rs 1529 was paid by net banking on[protected]. On[protected] I have cancelled the order due to delay in despatch of the item (Max time given by irctc was 8 days) on tracking at the irctc website, the status is shown as ' cash refunded' The amount not yet reached my Bank A/c. Kindly help me.

                              I had two tdr requests pending with irctc for more than 2 months with pnr no [protected] and [protected]. But I have received a mail by IRCTC as "With Reference to your TDR Filed against PNR No:[protected], for the refund o[censored]nused ticket, we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Enhanced Coaching Refund System developed by Center for Railway Information Systems (IT Arm of Indian Railways) implemented in Indian Railways stating '(CNF)TDR TIME OUTSITE LIMIT FOR PNR - [protected]' and the reason being : "TDR was filed beyond the prescribed time limit." With Reference to your TDR Filed against PNR No:[protected], for the refund o[censored]nused ticket, we regret to inform you that refund is not admissible as informed by Enhanced Coaching Refund System developed by Center for Railway Information Systems (IT Arm of Indian Railways) implemented in Indian Railways stating '(CNF)TDR TIME OUTSITE LIMIT FOR PNR - [protected]' and the reason being : "TDR was filed beyond the prescribed time limit."                                 The rule that "No refund provided if a confirmed Tatkal ticket is cancelled", is unsatisfiable for the customers. Because, 1. The person who wants to cancell a confirmed Tatkal ticket due to any reason, never goes for cancellation because no money will be refunded even after cancellation. 2. The person who is willing(or any reason) to travel with a Tatkal ticket will not get a confirmed ticket because of the above scenario. 3. If the first person cancels his ticket it will be helpful to other persons who r willing to travel. 4. The problem is why first person will cancel it. He don't find any profit in cancelling. 5. So there should be some provision such as refunding the amount about 30% to 50% of the ticket for cancellation. It will help him and other person and the GOVT as the govt will get about 50% of the canelled ticket and the amount of the new ticket of the other person. 6. Reason for cancellation of tatkal ticket r many like, - Human errors during booking - Emergency situations etc.

                                  Dear Sir/Madam, I am from Odisha. I have booked an e-ticket from IRCTC in Rajdhani Express to travel Bhubaneswar to New Delhi on 13Oct2013. The train was cancelled on due to heavy cyclone (Phailin) and my area is mostly affected on which we don't have any electricity and internet for long days at all. After 10 days when I didn't receive my refund money, then I have called to IRCTC customer care for the same. They told me, I need to file the TDR for the same. Buit I didn't understand why I need to file the TDR for the train cancel. This is not my fault. This is the fault of railway who should return my ticket money to my bank account automatically as it was booked online. After the discussion with customer care then I did my TDR file, but after 11 days I received an email from IRCTC that the money can not be refund due to late TDR. I don't know where is my fault. Why I will file the TDR for train cancel. If the train has been cancelled, the refund amount should come to my bank account automatically. Request you to have a look to the above issue.                                     Respected, Sir / Madam I had booked a YAMAHA Rx 135 on 19/10/2013 from Coimbatore (CBE) to Madgao (MAO). The bill number is P905113 Which they said would be delivered to me with in 2 to 3 days. I saw my train loaded in the train 22476/Coimbatore - Bikaner SF AC Express SuperFast Coimbatore, on the same day at 3.40 pm. I to boarded the same train towards the same destination. It has been more then 14 days till now. When my friends visited the Coimbatore railway parcel authority regarding this issue they said the train already sent and when i visited the Madgao railway parcel authority they said the bike is not yet revived. Now i do not know where my bike is and when it will be delivered to me. When inquired to the officials they do not even reply me properly nor they respect me, they simply disrespect me and also get angry when i ask them about my bike.                                       D/Sir, I am Sheikh Reyaj Ahamad, Sir on 06/10/2013 booked E-Ticket from this site (http://www.irctc.com.in) for New Delhi to Howrah from my SBI Debit Card, But I am not getting ticket from this site and my amount Rs. 881.24/- also cut from my A/C, they are only showing me this POS PRCH[protected] IRCTC ON 06/10/2013 within 25 Days laps amount not received back my A/C. Sir, I wan only my money Rs. 881.24/- (Rupees Eight hundred eighty one twenty four paisa ) return my Account, so please help me soon. Thanking Sheikh Reyaj Ahamad New Delhi.

                                        I have ordered(Order No - IRSP4642131) the following articles in IRCTC Shopping . when i have checked the my status than made a call to customer care Ms Manisha. she said you have mentioned two pin no we got confused so your order will not be deliver . what statement she did ? if my mistaken if i have entered the wrong pin code IRCTC should inform to customer by mail or by call to confirm the correct pin code or you should check in data base .i am not in remote area . Neither by call or by mail they have response i made almost 10 time call to their help desk no but same kind of story, even i asked to them to deliver the same box in my address i will bear the delivery charges they are not ready to listen .today i got commitment from Mr Divye by evening you will get call back but no response . two mail with reminder i have sent them they are no reply from them.

                                        Now i am going to consumer court & charging 10 time of my shopping amount ..Pl let me know what kind of legal actions i can take .

                                        Irctc customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        Again I am repeating the same kind of story about my first time shopping experience with you guy . to keep in loop with all senior management team of IRCTC owning to irritating & full of arrogance behavior by IRCTC Online shopping team .
                                        Background of the Issue
                                        1. On 26 Oct have made a online purchases worth Rs 1985/ through the channel of IRCTC online shopping portal, my transaction process got completed & system generated the ordered no -IRSP4642131 & received sms & mail for order confirmations

                                        2. On 27 Oct when checked my order status I got confused because my order shipped to Bangalore, @ the same time made a call to irctc help desk Ms manisha said you have entered two pin code so it’s your mistake now your order will cancel, she was not able to listen anything neither transfer to call any of the senior person & held me for mistake.

                                        3. Since then keep calling to IRCTC had word with Ms Ishali. Ms Neha. Mr Divye & Mr Rahul each one is telling you have done the mistake so your order canceled now, even I asked to them send the same box to me i am ready to bear the delivery charges, I got surprised Mr Rahul said you can do whatever you want this is our company policy .if the company policy is not transparent for customer who are the base of the business what the use of such policy .

                                        4. Even i don’t know how dual pincode has come in my address, supposed I did the mistake but the person who prepared the box @ delivery center stick the customer address on box that time he should noticed that how two pincode can be possible in one address, neither I got call or nor any mail regarding wrong pin code, at lest you should hold the delivery till the pin code confirmations or build a system such a manner that it can be correct automatically.

                                        5. There are no such policy in irctc website that if pin code is wrong delivery will get cancel .

                                        6. Requesting to the senior management to take the issue seriously why customer should suffer .

                                        7. It seem no one tracking the customer grievances the kind of behavior employee carrying its very harmful in long term run it’s a service industries customer service employee feel the pain of customer then they can be success in their filed.

                                        8. When my box was in Bangalore that time i put a remarks on columns that I belong to Mumbai why have you sent order in blr.

                                        9. Hoping to get the my ordered soon before knocking the door of legal consumer court.
                                        I have purchased material from Shop IRCTC & received consignment of order # IRSP5473265 on 8/5/2014. The consignment consist of Foce Golden Vx 50 & Vx 10 - Couple Watches and Mafatlal Black - Suit Material. When I opened Watch pack, found that male watch is not working. Its time adjustment knob is not working. I have register complaint online and communicated many times to resolve my issue but consumer care saying that go to any company shop and get repair it.
                                        This is brand new watch and even unused so it must be replaced by IRCTC shop but IRCTC shop says to repair it by own.
                                        This is the working pattern of a Govt. of India Organization. It is very shameful for Indian organization who cheating their own people.
                                        Can this online site provide me justice ?? or it is same as IRCTC !!!
