I have applied IGL gas in February, 2021. Security Deposit of Rs.6000/- was also deposited. I have been allotted BP No. is [protected]. But after 7 months, there is no activation of Gas connection. It has not linked with main pipeline .

    I had converted my LPG connection to PNG Connection on 26 Jul 21. The conversion was completed by the service representative. However, there is an issue with ignition on the gas stove. It is not consistent and has to be ignited by matchbox only, gas lighter does not work. Please resolve.

      Address: D 1106, strategic royal court, sector 16b, greater noida west, up

      Have requested for starting the IGL connection from the meter to the stove on 8th aug 2021, and IGL team said that within 3 working days connection will be done, but till date no one had contacted for the same.with no gas my family is unable to cook food. I am contacting the IGL customer care every day they are just saying your request is on high priority and agent will come soon.
      I am fed up with this behaviour so i am putting a complaint here if query is not resolved then I have to approach consumer court without any other option.
      Please take it seriously and send your agent as earliest as possible.

        Address: E-15 (3rd Floor), Sewak Park, Dwarka Mor, New Delhi-110059.

        Applied for new connection in April, 2018.
        Pipe Line and Meter were installation in April 2019.

        Still connection is pending whereas Gas supply is fully in operation in all the buildings around me.

        Over the last 3 months repeated complaints have been made to your customer no. [protected].

        Repeated assurances have been given but no action.
        Please advise.

          My registered my mobile no. Is [protected]. I have applied for pipeline connection in feb'21. The agent came n took all the required information along with cheque for Re6000/-. After this Noone came to check n I called Somany time to customer care n there was no response. In March I was told that your papers are misplaced n you have to apply again. The other person came n again took all the required papers n said your previous cheque is expired n you have to give the new cheque n I gave the new cheque without getting back the expired one. Now the payment has been received at your end from the bank n still there is no response n nobody is picking the call at your janakpuri office of Mr. Naveen Sharma. I request you to please look in the matter n do the needful at earliest.

            We had applied for igl connection on 14th June and contiguously requesting every member to do the connection as soon as possible. Buy every time they say 90 days, what is this reply from customer care, why cant you people start connection before 90 days, without any shame they just keep om saying wait for 90 days. Are they providing free connection ? Every time same reply, no body wants to listen anything, like we are taking bsnl landline connection 15- 20 years back.

            Want the connection as soon as possible otherwise going to escalate this matter to higher authorities. And also I am gonna file RTI regarding this next.

              Sir
              The Residents of Flat No. B-73 First floor, Second Floor, Third Floor DDA Colony, New jafrabad, Delhi-32 had applied for installation of (PNG) connection from IGL and necessary document and required amount was complete subsequently your staff installed the connection in a very defective manner setting aside security precautions.
              The gas pipeline was installed from near electric fitting makin highly risky our request to make provision of pipeline from backside (service line of the building was ignored)
              on our repeated request and communication the pipeline was removed from front and parking side and it was installed from service lane . Now we have received a bill of Rs. 34161 vide order No.[protected] towards installation of the gas pipeline. It is not understood why we the used should pay for the mistake done by your concerned staff . you are requested to waive off the charges which is due to the carelessness of your staff.

                      जगतपुरी नगर निगम के वार्ड संख्या 22 ई, दिल्ली 110051क्षेत्र में भी ब्लाक, गली नंबर 2, मकान नंबर बी-7 से शुरू वह मकान नंबर बी-1 तक प्रत्येक मकान में पाईप लाइन को लगाये लगभग दो साल बीत चुके हैं एवं गली में पाईप लाईन भी लगी हुई है, परन्तु क्षेत्रीय इंजिनियर श्री शिवकुमार जी ने अभी तक में लाईन को चालू नहीं किया है, जिसकी वजह से कंपनी को इतना खर्च करने के बाद भी कोई फायदा नहीं है। फोन पर बार बार सिर्फ ठीकरा ठेकेदार पर डालते रहते हैं । विवेक विहार कैम्प कार्यालय से भी कोई अधिकारी जानकारी नहीं देते हैं ।

                        I Arun Kishore S/o Sh. Jugal Kishore had applied for Gas Connection under application Serial # 129, Form # 19218 on 20th May 2015. The payment of Rs. 6, 000 towards security Rs. 5, 000 and towards connection Rs. 1000 was also paid. In pursuance of my application and payment, Gas pipeline was fixed at my residence at W-12C/9, Sainik Farms, New Delhi - 110062 up to my Kitchen. Gas connection meter is also installed. Every month your representative comes to take reading but the sad part is that it has not been connected. Two years back the unconnected Gas Pipe was leaking and I had called the Emergency Staff to rectify the same. Last month, I took up the matter with your office and I was told to talk to the Project Incharge Mr. Shankar Choudhary (Mob.: [protected]). He was kind enough to visit the site and assured that another person will come to connect, but your residence is at far away place, it will be difficult for him to come, you will have to pay him some extra money. Till date, no one has come for Restoration of Connection.
                        You will appreciate that such inordinate deliberate delay breeds corruption. Incidentally, Gas is connected in all our neighboring houses.

                          Still awaiting connection to my kitchen. Now my patience is crossing the limit.
                          I can't image in New Delhi area (Lutzen Delhi)the IGL is taking such a long time to give PNG connection to its prospective users! Something is going wrong somewhere which needs to be investigated from outside agencies.

                            I have to complaint about under water pipe damage by IGL worker in Gali no 6, new Janki puri Uttam Nagar new delhi 59. We already told to supervisor of that area but after repeating complaint no one can hear this. It occur 3 day before and problem is still often. From that day, water supply is totally stop and all person are facing to much problem. Supervisor neither visit nor pick up phone. Kindly resolve this problem by your hand.

                                My BP No. is [protected] and the bill was not paid since Dec'20.
                                Reason : Inappropriate Bill Generation
                                Called so many times to send someone who can correct this bill issue when they called for the payment due

                                I'm talking about today's incident wherein had to face a worst behaviour or customer care executive Mahi Sharma from [protected] number at 1250hrs wherein her call starts with
                                "koi bolega"
                                I replied : bol rahe hain madam
                                Mahi: Phele batao, bill kyon nahin pay kiya (rudely)
                                I replied: Customer se aise baat ki jati hai. Pehle us se sun to lo kyon nahin pay kiya
                                Mahi : Theek hai batao (again rudely)
                                I replied: Madam pehle tameez se baat karo fir aapse baat karoonga
                                Mahi : Theek hai gas connection cut jayega abhi and she banged on her phone.

                                Note: Till today I haven't received the correct bill from IGL and they have the worst customer care executive who talk. She should be sued for slander.

                                To overcome such situation, I went to IGL office of Vaishali, Ghaziabad and met with the staff Satender and detailed him about the issue again and also given him today's IGL meter reading.

                                I also showed him the paid amout of INR 4114.06 today.

                                He said that due to COVID, reading was taken on pro rata basis and now the chip in the meter has been made active and going forward, the bill will be corrected.

                                I just need from IGL that there are so many people who old and unable to pay bill online and if they get the incorrect bill, how are they going to approach the correct people in IGL to get their bill/ payment rectified.

                                IGL should start a drive for such people, get the random check of meters, incorrect bills to get them rectified. This would help the consumers (citizen on India).

                                If the freedom of India has allowed us to earn, please earn without harming mentally/ physically to the people. Please don't raise your standards of earning only, raise your behaviour too, with the people.

                                If it doesn't get corrected, I'll have to go the higher authority

                                  There have been many complaints made on customer care number, person comes and goes without checking the leakage thoroughly. There is very strong smell felt inside the small children park in C block where two IGL pipelines are present. Residents are having continuous complaint, since it is open space, it will not harm anyone but gas is being wasted as smell is felt 24*7. Not sure why IGL is not able to send competent engineer who can fix the leakage issue.

                                    In our locality Mahindra Park, Pankha road, C1, ND 110059 new pipelines have been installed in last 6 months but the contractor have ruined the locality roads. There are huge piles of sand/stones lying all around and they have ruined the road which was properly cemented before this started. Also, they are connecting the gas pipeline straight to the pipes outside home and not covering these pipes. Who will be responsible if these plastic pipes break?

                                    Kindly resolve both these at the earliest.

                                      It's been over for two years that we are doing repeated complaints about our home connection staying pending from being connected with underground pipeline. After every complaint any authorised person comes and ensures us that the complaint will be resolved soon but nothing happens.

                                      This kind of behavior of your department is really very disappointing. Kindly do something and get the work done.
