I purchased a IPOD from infibeam on 27.11 and promised to deliver before 09.12.11 - full money is paid by card and confirmed in web site
no commitment on date and today they come back to say they they need check with their procurement to find out whether they can give me or not

Earlier in May 1 purchased a book and 10 days later they back to say that book is costlier than the listed and paid price.

Can we sue this sort of cheating by Infibeam

    Hello sir,
    Recently ,on 25th of Nov 2011,I have ordered a mobile phone of micromax through online shopping from infibeam.com.The handset does not support airtel and aircel sim card and always shows IMEI error .I have checked the same sim card in other mobile and its working.

    When I contacted INFIBEAM they are saying that they only sell goods online and does not takes responsibility of defected goods delivered and therefore the whole responsibility comes on the manufacturer and i should contact the concerned service center.

    My question is why the company is not liable for the delivery of defected product when the company has declared on its website about 30 days replacement warranty for any defect or damage on the product.

      I have made an order[protected] of Bajaj ICX 7 Induction Cooker (Black) with Infibeam on the 05th of November, 2011. The payment was made via card and subsequently, cleared from the bank. The delivery promise as per the site is 5 to 7 business days.

      I have corresponded with them from the 4th working day as the status and delivery traking detail was never updated. I was once told that it will be out of stock- but i booked time that product is in stock.

      Today, 04/11/2011, I am still wondering what happened to the shipment as there is still no update.

      i think this company do some fraud. and the same time every one of this company side not give correct solution. my money is wast of more then rs 2 thousand.

      some one of this company people call back me and say i cancel of your order bcoz this product is out of stock?
      and i ask that person then why you take order but that person not give correct answer.


      so please give me a correct solution for this where i give complaint to this company.

        Complaint Text.

        I bought a book from www.infibeam.com with Order ID :8291371...As his book was available on other websites also but Infibeam mentioned below book that "Order now and get it in 3 business days Details"..So I ordered on 3rd October. Next day when I checked the status, I was shocked to see that they mentioned "Shipment Date: 05/10/2011" and delivery date "Delivers By: Oct 8, 2011"...Though I was supposed to get it by 3 business days..4,5,6 and 6 being holiday, I must maximum get it by 7th October...But I have still not received the book in Pune and I am afraid even they can deliver on 8th October.

        Consequences:
        This cheating leads to mental stress and when I spoke to their customer care, they said they can not do anything...

        I mailed them 10 times, but not received satisfactory response..

          I preordered a set of books from Infibeam.com a month before the release date. On the date of release i got a mail from them that the item has been dispatched but i dint receive the books. I called infibeam to check about it. They told me that someone will get back to me in 24 hours. But instead i got a mail that my order has been cancelled. I called again 4 times to check about it but everytime i am told to be patient and someone will get back to me. How convenient of them to cancel the order without asking me or they dint bother to inform me if they were out of stock. my order id is- 8202327

            banking service through ccavenues. But after making the payment , I
            was not returned to the infibeam site by the browser and my order was
            not confirmed.But the money has been debited from my bank

              We had recently ordered A Textbook Of Physical Chemistry from infibeam.com on September 11 . We got an information from the website that it will be shipped by September 17 and delivered by September 20. It is September 22 now and still our order has not yet been shipped . It is 11days since we ordered and 5 days since the 'actual' shipping date .

              Everytime I log on to the website ,and check my order , it is always coming "shipping in progress" , and i need my book pretty soon.. i am not able to cancel my order also...and they are not responding to my emails ....the service is pretty poor....if the order has not yet been shipped , they can atleast provide me the provision to cancel it so that i can buy from somewhere else. Now if i buy from somewhere else and i get the order from these people , I will have to pay to them also...i will have to pay double the amount.

              dude, you should have mentioned your purchase ID, If any top-notch would come to know this complaint they can respond on basis of your purchase number
              i have placed an order (ID:[protected] on 13.08.2013, which supposed to deliver at my address on 19.08.2013 but i have not received it yet.
              my order is not delivered in 9 days from your shifting message. i called to your customer care and talk with them they told me we will try to deliver early so i told him to talk to your manager she trasfered the call to Mr .Jigar he talk to me but at last his behavior was not good he told me that I have power to not deliver your order and i will tell every one to not call u.atlast he cut the call.i want to say, this type of power persons are working in your infibeam. that's good for your present.
              i have placed an order with no. 13269172 for INTEX 2.1 IT 1800 speakers on 1july 2014 but unfortunately order did not shiped till 18 jul 2014. i didnot get any updates regarding my order from infibeam.com all time i tried to trace my order on the customer care no. and get only one reply that we are trying to get updates from concern team. tell me a single reason why i should not file a complaint against infibeam.com in consumer court. customer care no. are also STD so i spent approx. Rs. 500. this amount should also be paid by infibeam.com

                  Refund and selling Damaged item
                  Sir,
                  Ref order no:8144046,8144124.It is the third one I've had to cancel because of poor service and was not in stock.But the amount was take from my account showing the products was IN STOCK please kindly look into this matter and take necessary action.I used Infibeam online to send a few home appliances to India which included a microwave oven, water purifier and a refrigerator. All the payments were made online and I had selected the product online which at that time showed me that it was in stock. After waiting long for the refrigerator to be delivered and no updates from infibeam I contactacted them several time just to find out status of my item.I was told that it was out of stock and I had to wait. I could not wait and I asked for a refund which was fair on my part because at the time of purchase and till now on their website the item is shown as IN STOCK. again I was told that the refund will be done in 5 - 7 business days.I had to ring the customer service plenty of times and refund done after very long time. I spoke to different people and non of them was not able to resolve my issue.The representatives always speaking different storeys for ex. some would say its under process some say its out of stock they had to arrange from some where others say they have discuss with the there concerned department.now you please tell me whom do I believe. In the meantime, the water purifier was delivered to my home in Kerala in a very poor condition. The ceramic filter was leaking and the top plastic part was broken. and the item was taken back and I clearly said them I don't wanted this item to be replaced but I need my cash back.I contacted Infibeam again Today and I was told that it was misunderstanding,the cancellation was not yet processed.I am very upset now About the microwave they suppose to be delivered on 31 Aug but it wasn't done. I simply requested to them i need my cash back.because this is the third time,always say excuses which makes me no sense and I realise that it is a sort of cheating the customers. I strongly believe this is a company which has selling totally fake products.and I doubt now holding customers cash doing some other business showing with the out of stock products.I rang infibeam again and I was told that the refund is not yet processed and its been more than 7 weeks now.                   i m facing the same problem i order for a tv which cost 27, 000 rupees and i paid them 1000 rupees as deposit for cash on delivery more than a week is passed and they not ship my product yet they telling me different stories like concern department and all but still after two week they failed to ship

                    but they didn't ship after a week later they making excuses that today itself it will ship but another week passed by and they haven't shipped it

                    i don't deserve this kind of service from them

                      I ordered the book "A Modern App. To Verbal & Non Verbal Reasoning" on the 19th august from infibeam.com order no:8182775. The book was meant to be shipped by 23rd august and delivered by 25th august, Yet I have still not got the book, the order is shown as ShippingInProgress till today and I still don't know whether the book will be delivered or not. I mailed them where a auto-generated query was given that I will get the answer in 24-48 hours, yet even after 72 hours, I have got no answer.
                      They have pathetic service and I will never buy another product from there again amd advise everybody the same.

                      I had made an online order for a book from infibeam.com on 6th september 2010 and i was promised a delivery in 2-4 days, but i have not yet received my order.
                      Due to such poor service, i could not study for my final exams and suffered very badly.
                      I think, the company should take the responsibility for such delays.
                      The company has not even contacted me till now.

                      I think the company owes me more than just the price of the book. I almost failed in the exam. The score of the exam will decide my career and job placements.
                      Order : 7640933, placed an order for a book "Making a good script great" on Aug 12, 2010. Paid Rs293 through internet banking. The deliver promise was 21-28 days. Its almost 1 and half month. Its 43 days already but there is no info about shipment. They dont respond to my mails. I called them and they say its only an approximate estimate that the book would be delivered in 21-28 days n I am supposed to wait. However the order form clearly states (Delivery promise 21-28 days). Can sum1 help me how to go ahead and take any kind of legal action?

                      I have ordered an mobile phone(SONY XPERIA NEO L) from INFIBEAM.COM and the payment was made at the time of order , and when the mobile reached my home the courier boy was asking for some state charges of Rs 500 which i was not aware of and when i called customer care they told me that we are not responsible for it and i have to pay the extra amount for receive the mobile.
                      Similar case with me, i initially ordered for a kids laptop and was happy with the response from infibeam and hence ordered my second product that is a sandwich maker (Order Id:[protected]. I received the product on 1st June. I was very excited to prepare sandwiches for my guests at home. On sunday morning that is 2nd i was all set to prepare and found that the Sandwich maker is not at all starting/heating the two indicators thats given on the lead did not even blink.
                      i Called the call center on Monday at is 3rd a lady noted my complaint and she someone will call me or i would receive a email, but no call.

                      Finally got a call from an agent known Rupali on 10th June 13, she advised me to visit service center to get the product chkd if it has minor fault.

                      First thing why do i have to accept a faulty piece
                      second the reason i ordered online that too from your site was because i was happy with the Kids laptop that i initially ordered
                      third thing if i have to visit service center why would i have ordered the product online, i have a 3 months old baby at home because of which i am not able to go out.

                      This is a complete failure towards customer satisfaction and trust. Its now been 2 more days that i am waiting for a response.

                      By doing this these guys are loosing on valuable customers which i dont think is impacting much to them.

After waiting long for the refrigertor to be delivered and no updates from infibeam I contactacted them just to find that it was out of stock and I had to wait. I could not wait and I asked for a reund which was fair on my part because at the time of purchase and till now on their website the item is shown as IN STOCK. I was told that the refund will be done in 5 - 7 business days on 12/08/2011. I had to ring the customer service plenty of times as the time period they told me was over and no refund done. I spoke to different people and some would just disconnect the phone when they knew it was me. In the meantime, the water purifier was delivered to my home in Kerala in a very poor condition. The ceramic filter was leaking and the top plastic part was broken. I contacted Infibeam again and was told that they needed a snapshot. I replied to them using email that I have elderly parents who cannot use the camera to take pictures but I did not get any reply. I am very upset because this is the firt time I ever used an online service and I realise that it is a sort of cheating the customers.                           it's in regard of my online purchase for Samsung C3222 Chat 322 (Black) order no: 8140329 from infibem.com, i have ordered this handset on 2nd august 2011, and asked for the delivery to be as early as possible. in order to track my product i called infibeam help centre[protected] for assistance evry time i was told that your product has been shipped, but i couldn't find any details regarding the shipment on my purchase sheet. inspite of requesting many times they gave me various excuses like as been weekend we could not update the shipping detils and finally when i called them today, they told me that they cannot ship my product due to stock issue. so i kindly request to look into the matter and do the needfull action against the firm.

                            I made an online order with infibeam.com using my sbi credit card.
                            The purchase was completed. but right at the end of the purchase process, an error message came in the website, asking me for contacting them.
                            I got message from the sbi credit card that transfer of money is complete.
                            Even in my online credit card account, the money transfer is reflected.

                            But Infibeam is not available to contact either through email or by phone, even after 2 days.

                            Their customer care contact number sucks. It always gives you a waiting list number, even if you wait for your turn, it exceeds painful 20 minutes and the call gets cut, without getting a chance to speak.

                              I bought a chain from infibeam. Order ID 7874833. It was a silver chain, but when i got that the colour tarnished within few days without using it and the stone in it was a damaged one. I mailed Infibeam for a replacement. After many unanswered queries they promised me an replacement of the chain with the stone. They did send me a pack claiming to be a replacement, but when i opened the product the chain was just polished and the stone was not changed which clearly indicated that it was the old damaged chain. I mailed again for a replacement and called them but after 2 weeks they still have not replied to this mail and have not sent me a replacement.                               I bought BSNL Pantel TPAD-WS-707C calling tablet project by infibeam with order no. 10371678 and what delivered to me was a faulty product, touch wasn't working on the sides of tablet so i am unable to reach to even app menu, i was up on my toes complaining them to replace it... but after so many calls and complains i got nothing but fake assurances, it been almost 8 days and now they are saying me to get it repaired on my own, now i feel like i have been cheated.
                              If anyone thinking about to buy something from infibeam please give it a thought first, I'm sure you rather want to through your money in water instead buying a product from infibeam.

                                We made an offer of 2 Sony Xperia pro phones. at prices Rs 14205 each. on WWW.infibeam.com
                                It was cash on Delivery Offer. We confirmed with their consumer executives about this offer and they said to deliver this on time and at the mentioned Price.
                                This product was not launched in India, so it was a joy and excitment for us to get this offer .Firstly they said that Infibeam don't deliver on sat and sundays. But a courrier by Bluedart service was sent to me on Saturday b'coz of this i was not able to take it as i was not at home that day. But later i went to the Bluedart office to enquire about my product. The Bluedart person placed the product in front of me with clearly mentioning Sony Xperia Pro Mobiles on it. But he refused to give me that . He gave me reason that my offer has been stopped by Infibeam delhi office. I asked the Consumer executive Ahmedabad office for this, But he was not even aware of this cancellation. Later he started giving excuses that they send wrong model ie Xperia mini pro in place of Xperia Pro . But its name was clearly written on box sent by them and if it was done by mistake then they should make it correct by sending right model to us.
                                But now they are telling that Sony has stopped launching this phone in India. But here also this phone is already been launched in other countries and Infibeam provide this by shipping form those countries only.

                                In all Infibeam made a false advertisment of this Phone availability exclusively on there site at such eye catching price. But when anyone places order they changes the details whithout giving any reason for it.

                                This is kind of playing with emotions and time of Consumers.
                                I made many calls to their consumer execuitve but its all in vain as of now.

                                Please have look into attachements which will show full detail of our order and there followups

                                  I received the product today which is 19 days after the order however many thanks for delivering the product.

                                  I would have appreciated if delivered on time that was promised within 7 - 10 days.

                                  I have order mobile in infibeam site but delivery problem and customer care executive said more time delivery issue not our hand this is issurer problem and not any proper answer.

                                    This is to bring to your notice that against the order no : 7936141 which was of 200 gms ferroro rocher chocolates, infibeam has sent a 2 year old expired product which was also priced rs 260 where as on there website they are showing the mrp as Rs 387. They have shown some discount and charged me Rs 320 where as the mrp on the product itself is Rs 260.

                                    I have also send them 8 snapshots of the product. but the infibeam customer service is repetedly asking for much more professional pics of the product from every possible angle. They had me kept calling for 5 days and there department has refused to entirely replace the product or return the full amount.

                                    The 260 Rs price of the product was 2 years back. They are cheating on customers by sending them the old products and then frustrating them by asking them to send proofs or photographs as we we are all the professional photographers.

                                    I want nobody to buy atleast eatables items like cakes and chocolates from infibeam as an expired product can harm your health.

                                    I also want them either to return my full money or send me the fresh product to make up for their both bad service and product.

                                    I have also attached the pictures of the product for your perusal.

                                      I bought a Samsung mobile from infibeam.com . The mobile came with manufacturing defect where 'S' button was not working. For one week I continuous called Infibeam customer care and they told me that they would replace the phone. After one week they are not saying that please get it repaired from nearest samsung service center. This is great example of bad online shopping experience in India. PEOPLE, PLEASE DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM INFIBEAM.COM

                                        I have co-operated as per your suggested timescales of 48 hours however now I feel help less sending you chaser mails as I have very little confidence left with your brand/team/company.

                                        I write to you with extreme disappointment I faced with my first shopping experience with your website.
                                        You surely do offer a great deal on items displayed, however I have serious doubts on the quality of these items your team is selling
                                        Ive had to face immense embarrassment choosing your website to buy a gift for one of my clients, I ordered a Lava B5 cellphone as a gesture of goodwill to one of my clients and good friend however once the phone arrived, we have discovered that three buttons on the BRAND NEW phone dont seem to work. We are unable to access the menu and as the Home buton, the main button in the middle dosent seem to work either
                                        Where on oneside I wanted this to be a surprise gift, Now turns out to be a faulty substandard phone... I cannot expect my client to bear the costs of shipping the faulty phone back to yourselves for a replacement, I very unhappy with my first shopping experience with you.. Would like an immediate replacement, I will be willing to pay for the collection charges but I would really like a replacment to be sent and someone to come and take the faulty phone back for exchange.. I have been intending to write reviews abt the product but your website dosent display my reviews, neither can I seem to mail you directly using the wbsite link. Pls let me know how I can post my reviews for this product as I do not want other consumers to fall prey to this low quality items your team is selling. I seriously doubt how well the phone will work if it seems to have a problem as soon as its out of the Brand New box
                                        . I would appreciate you sending me a prompt response on what you can do to rectify the situation without my client having to make any effort from their end. I am willing to cover any costs involved in collecting the item provided you are send us an immediate replacement for the phone. Although I am certain that I do not want the recipient to take the trouble to mail this back to and pay seperate charges for a gift they received.
