I travelled in Ambaari Utsav AC Sleeper from Bengaluru to Udupi on 19th Oct. I had booked 2 sleeper on upper row, seat no 20, 21 and was travelling with my 2 kids 12 and 6 yr old. My pick up was supposed to be at Majestic, however, I had informed driver to pick me from Jalahalli cross and the bus had come at around 11:30 pm. However, the other driver who was not driving was so rude and misbehaved while talking and yelling for not paying the child ticket who is 6 yr old. He was adamant saying that till 5 year child fare not applicable but 6 yr onwards it is. He shouted at me and forced to buy the ticket and then take the berth. As i was not having cash, i asked for phone pe option, to which he again got angry saying we dont keep such options, u have to pay cash. At that point of time, he asked me to get cash from some ATM wherever they would stop, to which I denied as it was not safe to get down from the bus at that late night. Even though he was ready to come with me, how can i trust him or if anything goes wrong at that point of time outside. I then called up customer care and informed them. Initially the customer representative told need not get down for getting cash and he would make the driver understand, later he too started talking on behalf of the driver.

He was yelling so much that i finally told him will pay after reaching Udupi. Even in the morning, when i asked him to stop at ATM both the drivers started making noise and were shouting that you should have called someone for the money. Finally i went to ATM near Udupi, withdrew cash and gave them.

Is this the way, the drivers of KSRTC behave with the passenger. I was always proud to hear the services of our state transport but this journey was a horrible experience. There was no courtesy, no respect towards women and kids. I had bought 2 tickets and am attaching the ticket copy . In your reservation terms, its clearly mentioned that child till 6 years need not pay. That means if my son is 7 years, i should have paid for the ticket. They have charged Rs 1070/- for my son who is 6 yr old.

My first experience with Ambaari utsav was really freaky and unimaginable about the drivers behaviour. Never expected this kind of yelling, shouting, fighting by the drivers.

    At Hubli infosys office it's a requested stop. while boarding bus I told them to stop at infosys office they said yes, but after reaching to Hubli infosys stop they didn't stop the bus.

      Today, I boarded a bus from Bangalore to Chittoor. I paid 300 rupees for the ticket, but the actual ticket price was 215 rupees. When I questioned the conductor, he said the remaining change of 85 rupees would be given later. So, I also decided to wait for the change when I got off the bus.

      When the bus reached Chittoor, I asked the conductor for the remaining 85 rupees, He suggest to go to shop take 20 rupees I will give 100rs like that. I agreed and went to a nearby shop to get the remaining 20 rupees. However, when I returned, the bus had left the bustand, and I had to use my bike to catch up with it.

      I asked the conductor for the 85 rupees that were due to me, but he laughed and said I sounded like the telugu people's who haggle over just 1 rupee. He is using very very bad words ( ni amma ni denga ni akka ni denga, lanja koduku, gaandu maaro) like this . He don't know how to behave with passenger and also he don't not given money to two more passengers 15rs 10rs like this. How can I digest this type of words .basically I am from Andhra but I preferred ksrtc I never getting this type of situation before the the passengers are also scared about listening words from conducter .I already complained to helpline number but there is no proper response from helpline dept .I kindly request to take an action on conductor. This type of employees the ksrtc will get bad name sure.

        KSRTC bus stand, majestic ladies toilet refused youtube give back 5rs when tendered rs10 for using the facilities. She said the charges are Rs 10

          Bus no. KA31 F1606, Bantwala bus... Driver might have drunk and rashly driving and conductor scolding badly to all the two wheelers to give them a way ... bus was about to hit the foot path with rash driving also public were asking them to drive slowly but conductor scolded the public with bad words.. attached video for proof ... this video taken on 12.10.2023 near Rajajinagar around 7.30 pm.

          Requesting to warn this kind of behaviour of government conductors and take strict action

            As above subject why free ticket not allowed in Putaparti to Bangalore bus from Peresandra to Bangalore, is it interstate only right, if not possible to provide in interstate why the free ticket concept, please, give me the wright answer, don't tell that, that vehicle is state to state vehicle, we cont give free ticket in that an all, free answers.B K Srinath and [protected]

              Monday October 2 2023 : Time 10.06 pm
              I went public toilet he is asking 10 rupees but in the board they are mentioning 5 rupees when I ask why you were collecting extra money but the person replied no the charge is 10 you need to pay. Why he is asking extra money in board itself clearly mentioned 5 but he is collecting more amount. Please take some action against him. I have attached his video as well as fare proof

                While showing soft copy of adhar card conductor behave rashly on passenger and they are not accepted the soft copy of adhar card and they stopped in middle of road and pressurized to take ticket immediately all are known if soft copy is allowed but the conductors are behaving like this

                  While traveling Hubli to Nargunda Vehicle no:KA25 F3171 Nargunda Dipo conductor talked rashly on passenger and they stopped the vehicle in middle of road for get down.. Even after shows adhar card soft copy.. the KSRTC person they lost our reputation infront of passengers please take disciplinary action on him (As per govt rule soft copy is enough, if have any problem with soft copy announce to all Karnataka people to bring hard copy while travel..

                    On 15th September 2023 I traveled in the above mentioned KSRTC service.

                    I was waiting at my boarding point Shantinagar Bus station from 9.45. I was not informed of the specific platform on which the bus will arrive. But I was provided with the conductor's mobile number. Boarding time was 22.10. From 22.05 I started calling the conductor to enquire about from exactly where shall I board the bus. Nobody picked up the phone eventhough I tried reaching several times between 22.05 to 22.45.

                    Finally at around 22.45 I got a call from the same number asking me to board the bus. This being my first time at the bus station I politely asked him where to come. He shouted at me asking where I am and why I am not at the specific place. This repeated several times. He gave me local shop names, which given the span of the bus station I would not be able to find. I clearly told him in which platform I'm waiting. But he was shouting at me telling the bus is going to take off without me, ask someone in uniform and come if you want to board. At that particular moment I couldn't find anyone of authority to ask this question. I made queries to the local shop people and finally reached somewhere nearby. All this while the conductor was not at all helpful but also was very rudely and arrogantly shouting at me. After meeting in person also he continued the same. Blaming me on not finding the spot. He kept on blaming, shouting and arguing. I told him I was provided with your number for contact, then why didn't you pickup. He was avoiding whatever I was trying to tell him and kept on yelling at me.
                    Despite the fact that I was not informed about the late arrival of the bus, the fact that I was waiting for the bus for almost 1 hour, I don't know how he had the audacity to threaten me that the bus will leave without me.

                    I am so disappointed at the whole incident that I don't want to travel with KSRTC anymore. I regret the fact that I already booked a return ticket on the same bus.
                    I as a consumer expect basic respect which I give to others in return in a conversation. He was arguing with me after failing at his own job. I did not ask for any personal favour or specific treatment. I expect the service worth for the money I paid. I request to take necessary and satisfactory action against such behaviours towards travellers. I hope no one else has to go through something similar.

                      On 8th sep 2023. Ksrtc bus driver keeps on honking continues and tries to hit my vehicle with bus. He also used bad words and tell me to go side. In front of me there is another ksrtc bus and many vehicles how can i move fast and give side to him. Both bus driver's were competing(racing) because of them we people are suffering.

                        I was travelling from Coimbatore to Bangalore on 11th August Via PNR no J91497585 During travel around 3am Our Bus had an accident with your another bus in that I was thrown out of my seat due to urgent brake and i suffered fractured in my ribs .I was in hospital for 2 weeks . I had to spend at least 10, 000/- . Actually our bus was on right track in lane no 3 . Another bus overtook our bus . That bus applied sudden brakes as its vehicle ahead applied sudden brakes the Bus who applied sudden brakes slipped from lane no 2 and came in lane no 3 i:e in fount of our bus so our driver had to apply sudden brakes in that i was thrown from my seas as i was sitting on fount seat on left side ( behind driver ) I was thrown near driver

                            This incident happened on 24.8.23 at 9am on my way to my office. while I was travelling from MG road from sangtrashwadi to Adarsh nagar where a KSRTC bus driver had stopped bus midway at Atal Bihari vajpayee chowk for 5 minutes on the mid road without any issues with the vehicle. there was huge traffic jam as it was peak hours for schools and offices. He was reluctant to take the bus on side. After 5 minutes he moved towards Barey Hill circle to stop again in the middle of the road to collect a parcel which his collegue in uniform had brought and kept casually chatting with him for 5 mins by making the traffic stop, . when the people confronted him, the driver of the bus the Ka 32F 2060 was not only arrogant but casually told the people that u can take photo and complaint wherever u want. No one can do anything to me..

                              I have travelled form Hyderabad to Bangalore dt.21.08.23 and PNR no: J[protected] Bus no: KA 57 F 3953)boarding point is at Jedcherla and scheduled time was 10.45 pm.

                              I have received a call form bus staff at 10.36 pm saying bus shall reach to pick point only at 11.20 pm and the reason is dinner time.
                              Secondly asking to reach diffent location to board the bus instead
                              of pick up location i.e. jedcherla bus stand.
                              I refused due to luggage and security issues.
                              Finally bus reached at 11.56 pm and the staff behaved very rudly saying that you should have come to suggested different location .

                              It is really something cant be digested by the customer .
                              kindly revert with appropriate actions taken.

                                My name is menaga, I live in nagasandra. Today evening by 7.15 pm I was driving my car with my kids. Was taking my kids to classes. Ksrtc bus no KA06F1174 hit my car by taking a unnecessary diversion. This was between nagasandra metro station and 8th mile signal. I got down and asked the driver to see how badly he had hit my car, and he told that he will park the bus aside and come. But he drove the bus without stopping. My car was hit on the right side near the door when I am with kids. He stopped only as I honked so high. I wanted to take proper action on the driver and he has to pay for the damage happened by his carelessness

                                  Was travelling from tiruvannamalai to Bangalore. I entered a ksrtc bus as I was travelling alone at 10.00 pm and had to reach majestic and catch bus to hubballi. I asked for a seat next to a lady passenger. Though there were ladies seats vacant, they were all given to gents, each of them sitting occupying the whole of three seats. I would not dare sit next to them as i felt uncomfortble and had faced misbehaviour by male passengers.
                                  Though i asked for a seat next to a lady, the conductor did not dare empty the ladies seat occupied by male passengers. I was finally offered the seat of the conductor.
                                  It.pains me that ladies are not receiving the minimum safety that surely has led to male predominance.
                                  Females are more sensitive and cannot move along like men atleast in such circumstances.
                                  Will this mge be given importance and safegaurd women ? This is a question tp all males.. will you allow your wife or daughter sit next to a stranger male under such circumstances????

                                      Hello, I'm a regular traveller from Puttur to Mangalore and I have to travel to Mangalore after office hours. But there are no busses to Mangalore between 18:20 and 19:00. Can imagine the rushing crowd when the bus arrives at 19:00? Its a tragic situation that between these 2 popular places there are no busses during that time and for regular office workers to wait for 40 minutes after their hectic work, can you imagine the patience it requires?
                                      So I hope the department looks into this issue and handles it with the solution it requires.
