dear sir,
I had boarded a bus from mandya bus station at1000 hrs on 4th oct 2008. The vehicle no is KA-09 3992 and the staff conductor by name revana and his badge no 4142 which was mentioned by him when asked.
Regarding the complaint when he was asked about the express services to be rendered by the RED BOARD vehicles he did'nt mind the words of me and other co passengers. He was giving several stops even after asking him not to stop the bus wherever he feels like. He had stopped nearly 12 to15 stops from mandya to bangalore city entrance.Whereas the stops are suppose to be mandya city, maddur, channapatna, ramanagar, bus stations.
If this kind of service rendered by the KSRTC staff and giving arrogant answers to the passengers will hamper their bussniess and their duties of that day.
It is here by humbly requested that a diciplinary action must be initiated against the above said staff, and the same to be informed to my E-mail.

    We reached the bus stop (KR Puram, Tin factory) at 10 pm in the night and kept waiting till 12:45 am.
    In the meanwhile, at 10:45 when the bus did not arrive, we called at the customer care number given at the back of ticket.
    [protected] was switched off.
    [protected] we got no reply

    After trying many times, someone picked up the later number and replied that bus will come in another 15 minutes. We waited for another 20 minutes and bus didn’t come.
    Again after calling 2-3 times, this person gave us number of Control Room (080 –[protected].In many calls we made here while waiting till 12:45, the following was what we faced:

    1. I don’t know / Don’t Call here / Call Later
    2. Bus has not left Majestic. Can’t say when it will leave
    3. May be its stuck in the traffic
    4. Cannot trace where in the route it is
    5. Wait for another 20 minutes / 30 minutes
    6. If this bus wont come, wait for another one (WHICH ONE??? )
    7. Shouted at us in Local Language.
    8. Denied giving his name over the phone.
    9. During all calls, the tone of person was very very RUDE.

    After such a disgusting experience, we immediately came back and sent a complaint mail to [protected]@ksrtc.org, but no avail. Till now there is no reply from their side.
    Mail was sent from [protected]@yahoo.com, Aug 16th, 1:44 am.

    After that we have written a letter to DC Controller KSRTC Bangalore Central Devision on 19th August, 2008. Till now we have not got any response.

    We were two girls waiting in middle of Road so late in the night. The place was highly unsafe and chilly in night. If something had happened in this course, would the govt employees had taken responsibility…???

    Plus, if we dont trust govt agencies for timely services and polite reponses, where will the citizens go?

      Hi,
      I used to travel in ksrtc bus from Christ college to Agra daily, the bus fare is 4/- .The stages printed on the ticket is Lakhsandra TO Agra.

      But today i.e 17/6/08 on 8:40 am the bus conductor collected 6/-, the stage printed on ticket is Lakhsandra To KK Hali.I asked the conductor about the bus fare

      And the stage is not answered. The Ksrtc bus route is from KR Market to Sarjapur, Bus No is KA 01, F 7418 and it belongs to Sarjapur Bus depot.

        I booked the ticket in ksrtc volvo from banglaor to chenai timing 20:40,
        pnr number:[protected]
        trip code :- 1631MYSCHN
        ceat numbers:- 14, 15, 16, 19, 20

        Dept time:- 20:40
        pick up point : KMF.

        The did't turned up when i called to ksrt they just keep saying that the bus will come.. even though the bus of 20:30 came when i told them and showed the ticket to the conductor. they just say's it's 20:40 bus it's on the way. It will be delay due to heavy traffic in bangalore.

        I still waited. It was a waiting period from evenig 8 o clock to till late night 12 pm. but there is no bus for that time. There were pregnant ladies who were waiting and the business people who suppose to catch the flight by tomorrow morning. Due to this in ethical activity from KSRTC. Every body suffered a lot.

        Even there was a another lady whose bus timing was 9:30 to chennai.. even that was not there every body waited till 12 p.m.. And we return to hom.. but the lady who was alone waiting for the bus on the main road side oppsote to christ college. Was so sick, and no auto was ready to come.

        this is really very very pathetic department i have ever come across. no responce from the department no call backs from them at all.. It's really vey disappointed that i a m living in such a beautiful city bangalore. But the departments lilke this destroying the name of bangalore.

        I tried to book a KSRTC ticket from bangalore to Hyderabad on 13/06/2008. I was unsuccessful in it. But surprisingly the amount was deducted from my ICICI account. The details are :

        And the history of booking in my account (online site) does not show anything about it.

        I have booked e ticket on online ticket reservation link(awathar)but at the end e mail id also given to send e ticket. but even after two days also no mail has come. i dont have printer if i get e ticket through mail i can print any where.

        I reached the starting point hyderabad m.g.b.s at 20:30 and enquired at ksrtc enquiry as to where the bus would turn up. They said all bangalore buses will be there at platform 26 or 27. I waited there till 21:00 and the bus didnt turn up. I returned back to the enquiry and asked them again. They told that the bus will come and he asked me to wait. I kept looking around the whole bus stand if there was any sign of my bus. Since it was dushera time KSRTC had a lot of special buses at the stand. I checked if my regular bus was parked along with any of those special buses. But i couldnt find my bus inspite of enquiring with many people.

        The surprising thing was that the special buses were all starting at the right time. I approached the KSRTC enquiry counter again at 21:30 and asked them about the status of my bus. This time they told that the bus is right behind the queue of buses, pointing at a direction. I checked the mix of APSRTC and KSRTC buses coming along but i didnt find my bus at all. There were some other passengers along with me who had to board the same bus and they were searching for the bus just like me.

        Finally after thorough searching i returned back to enquiry again, and this time they told that the bus has left. It was in the same platform 26, 27. But i can say for 100% surety that no such bus came there. My co passengers also came at the counter with me. But the enquiry person bluntly kept on telling that the bus left. There were lot of whispers going on with the officials at the counter. I also realised that there were people in the stand still waiting for 7.30pm KSRTC bus as well.

        The officials would have sold out my ticket and the my co-passengers tickets in black and they would have prevented the bus from coming into the bus stand. Or else the KSRTC people would have run out regular rajahamsa buses because they started so many special buses for dushera that they are having to play such a drama. To their advantage they had a whole lot of chaos with the buses in MGBS stand during the dushera time.

        Someone please try to find out about the corruption happening with KSRTC people at Hyderabad. And such kind of people should be immediately dismissed from the service. I also want my money and also the money of the people who have been cheated by the ksrtc officials.

          All my family members usually prefer traveling in KSRTC night buses when we go to my native(mangalore) as we believed it maintained cleanliness .But yesterday my sister traveled from Bangalore to Mangalore in KSRTC rajahamsha (nigth 8.40 p.m) and the whole night she didn't sleep because of bed bugs in the bus.The next she had to go to office .So I kindly request the concerned people to check into the cleanliness of KSRTC buses as most people prefer traveling in these buses as it is considered to be safe and clean

            Once again KSRTC proved that they dont put enough thought on educating its staff and they never bother about the way they approach the public(consumer). I regularly travel from B'lore to Sec'bad and there is a volvo bus whose end point is Sec'bad, this leaves at 21.45 everyday. I had booked the ticket for B'lore to Hyd... the fare is Rs. 645. The fare remains the same if you book the ticket for Sec'bad also. But the conductor during my journey on[protected], after passing from MGBS demanded Rs.20 for continuing my journey upto Sec'bad.He was adamant in his stand that in my ticket the end point was Hyd. B.S so if I have to continue upto Sec'bad I need to take a ticket for Rs. 20. But the reality is the fare for B'lore to Hyd and Bilore to Sec'bad is Rs.645. Then what is the matter if you get down at Hyd. B S or Sec'bad.

            Conductors neeed to improve their behaviour towards the commuters. No real improvement is seen in this regards over the years. Now it is high time that public organisations start thinking over this matter.

            KSRTC-Conductors cheating customer/government.
            Hi,
            I used to travel bus from Attible to Electronics city (Bus No-360B which goes to Majestic) at 6.30am. Bus License Number KA-01-F-2754. The activity what I am going to mention is a regular one on this route number. I noticed/suffered several times.

            I don’t know the conductor name. I traveled on April 30, 2008 at 6.30 am. The charge from Attibele to Electronics city is Rs.9. I gave Rs.10 and the conductor as usual he marked Rs 1 on the back of my ticket though he have the change. Before Electronic city stop (I think it is Hebagodi), I requested for the change. He collected my ticket and offered me Rs.1. But he didn’t return my ticket. In addition, I saw that he was offering the same ticket to some other person by just striking out the remark, which was on back side of the ticket.
            I have see this for plenty of times conductors avoiding to return the change of Rs.1or 2 even though after having the change. If you ask for it "your stop is far from here, what's so urgent " is the answer you get for your own money. Most of the time people hesitant to ask or tend to forget puts it to conductors pocket. This even happens with auto rickshaws.
            If conductor doesn't have change is understandable but many of the times purposefully avoiding to return is not good. Somewhere they need to change this attitude. Someone has to send message to KSRTC/BMTC management.
            Request to passengers to carry change and always ask for money.

            I had booked a ticket to Tirupathi on May 10th. The bus was suppose to leave bangalore at 5PM, But the bus came to station only at 6:30. The bus left the station only at 6 45PM or so. And the management team at Megestic is so bad. They don even have the correct information. They are not ready to give the number of any higher official whom i can contact and complain about this. The reason they sight for this is the election. They say all the drivers are on election duty. If so, then why the hell they make bookings on these days. Why cant they cancell the services. They take huge money and the service they offer is pathetic.

            I was travelling from markera to puttur on 8-5-2008 by ksrtc bus number ka19 2571.I purchase the ticket for 47.00 RS by giving 100.00 RS, he gave me a ticket and marked 3.00 RS on back side of the ticket, so i asked for remaining change for 50RS, he told me dat he give me later.i have noticed that the conductor was rudely behaving with the co passenger and he also fought with them, moreover one of the co passenger demand the change, so conductor teased him telling that whether he is getting down, and he told that he ll give the change in puttur.But when we reached there, one of the passenger demand the change so he told him to come for bus stand even thought he had the change he refused to give him, when my turn came he gave me only 3.00RS change so i asked for remaining 50.00RS, he told me that he gave me, so we both had an arugement final he told me to come for bus stand, so i climbed the bus again and he started speaking rudely and used voulger words saying that come in i ll teach u, u want the change na and he pulled my color, so i jumbed from the bus and i took the help from traffic controlling police.Police and public helped me to get my money.However i was not very much bother about money but way he behaved with me.so kindly request to consider this letter and take an appropriate action against the conductor for his misbehaviour of the bus KA.19.2571, tavelled on 8.5.2005. Am wait for the reply
            My wife was traveling in KSRTC bus, Time 9.30 pm, Date[protected], from Chennai - Bangalore, conductor was rudely behaving with her. After reading complaints about KSRTC conductors in this forum, i understand that this is their general attitude to every one. KSRTC conductors need to change their attitude, or KSRTC management need to take action against them.

            Myself preethesh.N.R iam the resedient in chickmaglore and iam working in banglore so each and every week i use to travel for my native i.e chickmaglore so while comming i use to reserve the ticket.But on saturday morning for sunday night at 10:30pm also i reservedand even this time also i reserved 2 tickets for my friend and for me both seperate window seat and he agreed gave the ticket no 7240679 but when i bored a bus on sunday night he reserved window seat for both myself and other fellow too.so i request you to better take the action.

            I am from a place called gudalur which is on the way to ooty I have booked a return ticket from ooty to bangalore on sunday ie[protected] where in I had no option of booking the ticket from gudalur to bangalore in ksrtc web site. the bus starts from ooty by 10.20pm Corona Ambari.the bus takes atleast 2 hours to reach gudalur which is by 12.20pm. I was in the bus stop at gudalur by 11.30pm and the bus arrived exactly at 12.15 and when i have shown my reserved ticket the conductor told me that this bus is not 10.20pm bus its 10.26pm bus and he conned me badly...and we have waited till 1.30 am but no bus was avaliable and we had to come the next day morning.

            Please take a suitable step to check this otherwise no use to post a comment only.
            1-This is really embarrasing that after paying money conductors dont issue the tickets.
            2-For same distance there is no fixed amount. It varies from Rs.3 to Rs.7.
            3-Drivers dont stop the buses on the bus stop but they stop in the middle of the road.
            When I came Bangalore I was very much excited to visit the IT hub of India. But these type of things totally changed my thinking about B'lore.
            Are you all waiting for the Karnataka Chief minister to come to your house and help you. If the behavior of the bus conductors or management has offended you so much, why not take appropriate actions. Contact the other passengers by email from this forum itself, and together report this at teh consumer court.
            I travel in bus only once in 3 years (only when flight or train is unavailable) but do look for reviews. I have booked tickets online for a return trip from Bangalore to Kerala for May 2009 through Kallada, however, complaint forums talk the same about all travels - KSRTC and private ones. I really doubt whether we will have a comfortable journey.

            My perception of KSRTC changed for the worst in just two trips. I had to board my bus to Sirsi on 10th night from the main bus stand. The bus arrived half an hour late and in a bad shape. The radiator pipe was broken and the driver took the help of one more driver who was standing near him and worked on it for another half an hour and declared that it was a minor problem and he had fixed it. The bus started at 11pm and by the time we reached Rajajinagar, the radiator pipe had broken down again and smoke was filling the entire cabin. So we headed back to the main bus stand to get it rectified. We reached the main bus stand at around 11:45 and we were shocked by their careless attitude. They were insisting on that we get this bus fixed and we carry on. After lot of effort we finally managed to get a alternate bus at 1am.
            While coming back to Bangalore I boarded a sleeper bus at around 9:30pm and within half an hour into the ride I felt something was wrong and realized that my seat was infested by bed bugs which had grown to 4-5 millimeters in size. I had never seen bed bugs so large. Both my legs and hands were swollen badly and I managed to change my seat at around 12:30 am but still some bed bugs had managed to cling along and had a terrible time in my new seat also. Around morning time I saw that the white blankets given by the conductor was having blood stains all over and I had a sickening feeling.
            So much for just 2 trips. I guess I had to vent out my frustration somewhere and this post is my way of taking it out.
            Booked a ticket in KSRTC five days in advance to travel to Thalassery from Bangaloreon 9th August 2009.
            The scheduled time was 20:05, an hour later at 21:00 a bus to kannur arrived, to our surprise when we approached the conductor he said this ticket is for the earlier bus which is cancled.If you want we will drop you at Mattanur which is our route or you can go and get the ticket canceled. On approaching the Traffic Controller in charge the reply also was the similar, If you want you can travel by this other wise you can cancel the ticket, we are helpless we cannot do anything. This was the decision by our manager to club the service to the earlier bus to this service.I am really surprised this is the kind of service we deserve after paying for it. Imagine the plight getting down 30 to 40 kilometers away in the midnight and take a alternate bus. I cant imagine if it were my family was supposed to travel.The similar expereince in the same route another 10 days back.I was on the same Kannur bus departing at 20:00. Just after Mysore there was some trouble with the clutch, The drive manages to take the bus to gudalur depot workshop. It was around 2:00 in the midnight, and unfortunately the night shift mechanic not available, we had to sleep in the bus untill early morning 7:00AM till the mechanic arrived.
            Who is responsible for these kind of services and whom should we reach to complain about these inconvenince.
            The conductor and the Traffic controller said we are helpless we cannot do anything. Would they accept the similiar service inconvenince.I tried to reach on the enquiry numbers that were on the back of the ticket of which none are active.
            Is this what we deserve for trusting the service.

            Regret to inform you that while i was travelling from mysore to cochin(ernakulam) through Rajahamsa on 6th sep 09 at 9:37pm. As i was about to sleep i found some bed bugs biting my hands and legs. i concerned the conductor he then allotted an alternate seat which was also affected with bed bugs and my journey on your bus was quiet miserable.The seats were also not cleaned and maintained properly. Kindly do the needful to resolve such inconvenience to the passengers of Rajahamsa (KA 40 F-191)

            I am travelling from Indiranagar (Defence Colony) to DELL bus stop (EGL) everey day. Every day I am facing and seeing that the conductors collect exact ticket amount and don't give tickets to passengers. Today (Sep 11th 2009), I have seen that the conductor didn't give tickets for 80% of the people in the bus. I observed in each and every stop. Just he is collecting money from passengers and didn't give any ticket. I asked him somany times for my ticket and he was telling something else. Whle discussing with conductor, my bus stop came. The bus details are as follows.

            This is doing not only this conductor, many many. 90% of conductors are doing like this. But no one is taking any action.

            Because of this mainly KSRTC is loosing their profits drastically. People please think about this and take necessary actions if any Police office or KSRTC staff will see.

            Sir I gave to Conductor Rs.200/- against Rs.176/- he told me dont have the change and wrote ex Rs.24/- on back side of the ticket, then I have searched in my pocket and got Rs.26/ - and the same
            I had give it to Conductor and told take this change and give me Rs.50/- But he refuse to pay and told I will pay you Rs.50/- again he wrote Rs.50/- on the back side of my ticket,
            then in the midnight once again I have reminde to give me Rs.50/- again he refuse to pay.
            On 1.30 AM when the bus reach to Nayandanahalli at 1.30AM mindnight I have getdown with my brother but the conductor not pay the amount of Rs.50/-

            Please I request to refund my amount as possible as early.

            Actually i had tried to book the KSRTC tickets for diwali on date 15th night from bangalore to madurai,
            The rules in KSRTC tickets can be booked in online only before or less than 15 days from the journey date, but when i was trying at 12'o clock morning (Sep 30th) it says 'You can book the tickets only for 12 oct'.
            Then when i check out the same in the morning 8'o clock it was sold out.
            I am confused whether these people are booked the tickets themselves...
            I have booked a ticket from trichy to bangalore on06/11/09 but the money debited from my account and ticket not confirmed. still now the money is not return to my account.The details of transaction numbers are given below. kindly do the need ful.

            I bored on my bus from sarajpur junction to graphite india at 7:55am 500k- on 08|02|2010. bus no 4389.
            It was super crowed but some how i managed to pay the ticket amount
            but conductor making change excuse kept me hold for ticket. And at very next stop ticket checker entered into the bus. And started asking for the ticket... the lady( ticket checker)
            was too rude and was not ready to listen to me and started speaking in kannada... even after tellin i dont understand she started shouting at me. i dont understand why these ppl r not enough educated to
            speak atleast in english.
            i came bangalore to wrk for my company not to
            get mentally harrashed like this. even after paying due amount Rs 20 ticket checker forced me to pay fine for Rs 200/-. Even after having the complete fault of conductor.
            I just want that to take action aganist conductor and to ticket checker how to behave with ppl
            and not to discriminate bw hindi n kanada.

            Improper ticketting

            I booked the ticket from coimbatore to banglore on 08/08/2010 from KSRTC (karnataka state road transport corporation) Hope college office, the staff's phone number is [protected]. The actual fare is 480 per ticket, but the staff at hope college demanded 70 rupees extra for the ticket.

            Kindly look into this issue.

            Karnataka transport — Tickets not issued to the commuters

            I'm Very much doubtfull whether the Karnataka Government has given the buses for lease to bus drivers and conductors or the govt does not give salary to the bus drivers and conductors. For short distances the conductors never give tickets to the commuters. Even if we ask they never give the tickets.

            So my humble request is that if the checking inspectors find anybody guilty for not having taken tickets please investigate before you fine them.

            KSRTC — Not issuing ticket and the remaining change

            I am software company employee and I daily travel from Marathahalli to Whitefield( Both volvo and ordinary bus).I have experinced so many times that most of the conductors(Male) are not issuing tickets inspite of asking so many times.They dont even give the remaining change if its a small amount.for example 2 rupees or 5rupees.If we ask they will speak very rudely.Please take any immediate action because many people are facing the problem with bus conductors.

            I am travelling from Channapatna to Bangalore everey day. Every day I am facing and seeing that the conductors collect exact ticket amount and don't give tickets to passengers. Today (Jan 1st 2011), I have seen that the conductor didn't give tickets for 80% of the people in the bus. I observed in each and every stop. Just he is collecting money from passengers and didn't give any ticket. I asked him somany times for my ticket and he was telling something else. Whle discussing with conductor, my bus stop came. The bus details are as follows.

            This is doing not only this conductor, many many. 90% of conductors are doing like this. But no one is taking any action.

            Because of this mainly KSRTC is loosing their profits drastically. People please think about this and take necessary actions if any Police office or KSRTC staff will see.

            I so agree with you, today me and my friend took bus no KA01- FA 8708 to Bangalore central, the bus conductor was a lady and she took 20 bucks for 2 tickets and when i inquire about the ticket she said that she thought st. john bus stop and has provided us the ticket, i mean it was insane that some one can think st. john instead of central, bloody ghawar, n than she was not ready to accept her mistake, there were other passenger as well who said that I clearly told central but the conductor was rude and bloody insane, KSRTC should do something to change such kind of behavior of conductor and driver.

            Today we took KSRTC Bus from Banshankri to Central Mall i.e in J.p Nagar 9th block. The actual charge of the ticket was 4 rs each but the lady conductor took 10rs Each from us and after asking for explanation she said she heard st, john and it was our mistake and spoke to us very rudely and when we ask her to return our money, she refuses and used bad word, its not about the money but about the behavior, so kindly do something for it. the incident date is 28th feb 2011 and time was around 4.30pm and i have the tickets with me for the proof.

            Ksrtc has given us the wrong ticket booking as the bus did not cum at the station and we want our money back
            To whosoever it may concern,
            I today i.e 5 august 2011 boarded a bus ( no 271 A ) at 1 pm at B.E.L Circle stop for Malleshwaram Circle. I was asked Rs 11 for fare for which I gave Rs 20. The conductor instead of returning the change asked me Re1 which was not available to me then. Failing to give him Re 1 the person threathened me to throw me out of the bus if I failed to do it, All i want to know that whether is this the way you deal with customers or is that in their rule book to meet people with this behaviour.             I'm one of the frequent BMTC bus traveler.The conductors are looting money with out issuing the tickets.Even, If we ask also they don't mine or bothered.I'm requesting BMTC department to take action and save government money.The looting is in crocs every month.

            After I boraded from Kudligi I asked conductor to issue tickett to Jalahalli Cross he said "I will not issue tickett to Jalahalli Cross if you want you take it for Bangalore and get down befor flyover or at Goruguntepallya", then I taken tickett to Bangalore only but I observed one thing even so many passenger from Tumkur asking for Jalahalli Cross but conductor and driver were telling it wont go to Jalahalli Cross, then they went without taking them but few more passengers were traveling from Hospet to Bangalore on same bus even they also needed to get down at Jalahalli Cross, later once we all comming near to the flyover all we requested to go down becasue 4 more passengers including two small kids and lots of luggage bags they were carrying..so we requested but conductor and driver asked 50 Rs bribe from them they said " we wont give you, why should we give first of all we are comming here for daily labor work, our earning itself too low" then conductor started querelling with them like any thing with rude and vulgar words finally he slapped one lady and thrown away with all the luggage and went on flyover.

            Why they are not going below the flyover (At 8th mail and Jalahalli Cross)

            Why they are cheating common people by issuing Banglore ticket instead of Jalahalli Cross its around 15 KM ahead from Jalahall Cross ?

            As you all aware its one of the biggest populated area T.Dasarahalli Area many of our labor class workers are living over there becase of Asia's biggest Industrial Area Peennya is very near by, if all the buses not giving stop or not issuing a exact stage tickett to the poor people then how can you help our innocent poor citizens to live?

            Why cant you provide few more buses during morning time from Hospet to Bangalore ?

            And I observer that this is only bus to Bangalore from Hospet departure time around 6 AM with huge rush till Chitradurga. So pleas provide few more bus earlier or later around this time instead of giving Buses to election canvos this will help our school and college students and emergency patients traveling.

            And one more bus driver and Conductor argued similarly with us long back and they were saying like "its return bus so we are not issuing tickett to Jala halli Cross because of traffic. I have not remember the date but I have noted down that bus number KA 35 F71

            So please consider this humble request and take proper action and convey all your depo staff regarding this and ask them to issue proper tickett and resolve this small issue. Please do not neglect this small issue.

            I hope by solving these small issue our KSRTC can provide top services .

After going to home, i once returned to jayanagar complex, for arranging the ticket from Dharwar to Bangalore, the operator arranged the ticket with new PNR no T27430439, but taken Rs 123/-- as cancellation charges, Though I filled the resn form correctly i have paid Rs 123/-- more which is not correct.             i am a college student, i used to travel daily from ramankary to cherthala(at around 6.45am-7am) in alappuzha district by a fast passenger ( from pathanamthitta to thrissur ) which is the only direct bus which i can get in order to reach my college on time. even though ramankary is a permitted stop for LS/FP/SF they used to go without taking the passengers from the stop. On 18/6/12 as regular i was waiting for the bus and as usual they didn't stopped the bus and i reached alappuzha bus stand by a private vehicle, i thought of going by FP from there, when i reached the stand the same bus was there and i entered inside the bus, when i entered the conductor was starring at me and telling to the person sitting near to him that it was better not to allow me to enter the bus and he saw me standing at ramankary and intentionally not stopped the bus and in between the journey he used to commented me rediculously. it is not fare and is against the mission and quality policy of KSRTC . after receiving this letter i hope you will take necessary action at the earliest.

            hello sir i treave from j p nagar to kalidasa road by catching a bus near shani dev temple jp nagar!!

            I travel everyday from Bommasandra to Hosur through KSRTC buses, Bommasandra we have the bridge and non of single buses are coming under the bridge it always take over the bridge even though its ordinary buses. At least morning time I may get one bus by waiting half an hour or 1 hour but while coming back i have to get down on the bridge. Sometime there are Ticket checker who get in to bus in such case they are coming down the bridge, only for their sake. I feel so tied i feel like quieting by job due to such reason. Please advice them because we don't have any other option. If it is non stop buses over flyover means k but at least ordinary buses should come down the bridge for public sake.

            I was trying to book 2 tickets for myself and my wife from Bangalore to Kolhapur for Airavat bus service by KSRTC. Even though they have deducted Rs. 1561 from my ICICI account, I received message that the transaction got failed and I have not received any tickets. Even after sending 3 mails to [protected]@ksrtc.org, there is no reply. KSRTC is cheating people and robbing them by not refunding the money.

            The complaints are being lodged against KSRTC and Now a days this is becoming a tradition for KSRTC to get complaints and they just don't bother about the complaints I think. Instead of educating thing employee they are thinking that in this way KSRTC is gaining passion and respect too(They will sleep nicely at home and end of the year they will simply show the count of complaints raised against them and they were damn busy in resolving customers problems). Previously i had lodge a complaint which I don't even remember most of the things about that incident.

            Again today repeated the same.

            Even some of the passengers got angry when he was not listening but passengers cant even do that too or else later on passengers will be blamed as they did the crime and the great person(Conductor) of KSRTC were doing his duty.

            Please don't lose the respect which all Indians eventually the passengers are travelling from other countries are showing towards Bangalore(Bengaluru).

            Please try to look after your pride at-least not for you but for Bangalore and Bangaloreans...

            KSRTC — driver smoking in bus

            I was travelling from Bangalore to mangalore On 7 September 2013 bus number Ka 14 f 2769. Bus destination was kundapur. The driver was continuously smoking in the bus. On questioning the driver gave explanation that he has to smoke so that he doesn't fall asleep while driving. Wow!!! Ksrtc hats off to you.

              I used to travel bus from Attible to Electronics city (Bus No-360B which goes to Majestic) at 6.30am. Bus License Number KA-01-F-2754. The activity what I am going to mention is a regular one on this route number. I noticed/suffered several times.

              I don’t know the conductor name. I traveled on April 30, 2008 at 6.30 am. The charge from Attibele to Electronics city is Rs.9. I gave Rs.10 and the conductor as usual he marked Rs 1 on the back of my ticket though he have the change. Before Electronic city stop (I think it is Hebagodi), I requested for the change. He collected my ticket and offered me Rs.1. But he didn’t return my ticket. In addition, I saw that he was offering the same ticket to some other person by just striking out the remark, which was on back side of the ticket.

              I have similar complaints.I travelled in Ka-01, F7566 bus today[protected].The conductor after taking the full ticket money refused to give me a new ticket, instead offerred an old used ticket.When i told him that i will complain to the KSRTC, he didnt seem to be bothered but instead abused me.I feel very insulted.Is there no KSRTC official listening.
              If KSRTC is out of ideas, i kindly suggest them to go in plain uniforms and check out such issues.This happens very often.

              i travel daily thru hulimavu to kalen agrahara on bannerghatta road just 3 stops..the fare is 3 Rs. and 5Rs. for pushpak buses.many conductors take the full money and doesn't issue a ticket.. if asked for the ticket they will return 1 Rs. if i refused to take it and ask for the ticket they will issue the ticket of 7 Rs. and say that if i want a ticket i should pay 7 rs..
              i have seen many many conductors taking advantage of that..directly they will put the money into there pockets..really i am fed up quarreling with them and asking for the tickets..

              KSRTC — conductor not issuing ticket after taking money

              I started from Malleshwaram at 4pm on 4/2/2009 8th cross to Yashwahthpur. I payed Rs 5 for ticket but conducter refused me for giving ticket. And after asking ticket several time he and driver dropped me near yeshwanthpur forcefully. I complaned about this at yeshwanthpur police station also.

              u r right Mr. The same thing is happening in all Karnataka Buses.. On 22nd of February 2009, Eashanya Karnataka Sariga i dont know what does it mean. I was travelling from ZHB to HYD, conductor issued the ticket from Humnabad to Hyd instead of ZHB to HYD, When i asked y like that, he simply gave me a smile. Almost 3-5 tickets he issues like and the BUS No. is KA-32 F1065 (22nd Feb 2009 at 8.40p.m)
              This issue is happening in many BMTC and KSRTC buses. They collect money but do not issue tickets. Some conductors issue used tickets. Once I travelled from silkboard to Jayadeva circle. The actual fare is Rs.5. He collected Rs.5 from me and issued a used ticket of Rs.11. Govt loses the money given by passengers.

              KSRTC authorities must put enough checking officers.
              This is regarding the Pathetic Journey from Moodbidri to Bangalore on 30/09/09 Night by Rajahamsa(SHEEP VAN) .

              PICK-UP POINT:- MUDABIDRE

              This above said BUS( Can be called a Sheep VAN) which was scheduled to come to Mudabidre at 8.55 P.M actually crawled into Mudabidre Busstand at 11.30 P.M .
              The Bus's condition was Pathetic( Was it roadworthy??), Everything inside and outside the BUS was rattling.
              Also the Bus had some poisonous TICKET LESS Passengers ( Please find attached the Photo of the passenger). The Scorpion was detected and Killed at Dharmastala and this again delayed the BUS by 30 Mintues .

              As the said BUS was VERY badly Maintained, the Driver with herculean effort drove it to Banaglore and reached at 9.30 A.M the next day .
              My wife was travelling from Udupi to Mumbai on 15th Nov, KSRTC BUS Journey, Trip code 1405MNGMUM, Bus No KA-57 F717, boarded the bus at Kallianpur, Santhekatte. Due to a operation she could not carry her hand baggage inside, I had to help her out in this regard, before me getting into the bus I had informed the driver/conductor, later before I could come out bus started, in hurry I could not hand over her ticket to her, later called immediately and bus was stopped little away. During that time the conductor/driver was threatening my wife without presenting the ticket she had to pay the full fare to Mumbai or else has to get down. His behaviour was extremely rude, unexpected, impolite.Since we are from Mumbai we would have lodged a complaint with MNS party certainly would have taken the culprit to books, would have caused serious problems. Bus was delayed over 50 minutes than the specified time given, we had all the patience to wait calmly. KSRT staff should be trained to handle the situation in a well behaved manner as we are all living in a civilized society and rude behaviour will not be tolerated. If these issues are not dealt sternly the reputation of KSRT will be in jeorpady. I am optimistic that concerned authorities will deal this problem in a professional way.

                sir, kalasipalya-kanakapura bus route wiil be changed from banashankari, they take left turn and coming via new kr road instead of kanakapura road, eg today 23/4/2010 started 5 pm from kanakapura bus no KA-42, F-184. When i objected because i park my vehical at yadiyur bus stop, conductor talked very arrogantly that " neevu beekadre ksrtcige complaint maadri, yaarU Enu maaDokaagalla, naanu 11 varShadiMda illi kelasa maaDtiddIni" (if you want to complain, you complain to ksrtc, they can do any thing, i am working since 11 years" like that). Morning also, some buses from taxi stand, they go on one way road and they go stright to KR road.They don't come to yadiyur stop yet all. If they donot travel in the normal ksrtc bus route, it is very difficult for us to catch bus and we face inconvenience. So, i requst you to instruct the ksrtc driver & conductors to follow the regular bus routs.

                Namasthe sir, I am from Magadi.I used to travel from Magadi to Bangalore and Bangalore to Magadi every day.In the night time from kalasipalya to Magadi very few buses r there, like 7pm 8pm and 9.15pm. almost we should wait for one hour inbetween can u please arrange more number of buses inbetween it will help passengers.
