I have bought the KENT Pearl R.O Water Filter online( 2012) TheMachine was delivered to me by M/S Safe India Technologies Chennai. I had anproblem with my filter 2 months back and contacted M/S Safe India Technologies (Mr Samuel [protected]). He had attended thecomplaint and told that there is a problem with Pump & R.O membrane. Hereplaced the same & charged me Rs 4500 for the same.With in 3 weeks the machine got faulty again, and I contacted him. But hewas not responding to the calls .
So ifiled a complaint in Kent website . I got a call form M/S OM ElectronicsChennai (Mr Palani [protected]) . He came and attended the call andtold that M/S Safe India Technologies is presently not a dealer of Kent and told that allthe filters are faulty and need to be replaced .Also I contactedMr Balaji ([protected]) South Service person of Kent and he informed me thatthey cannot guarantee on the service of M/S Safe India as they are notpresently with Kent and I need to payagain for service . I had no other option except to pay . M/s OM electronics offered an AMC for the machine. I opted forthe AMC and charged they charged me Rs 5500 for the same.( 3 weeks back ). 2 days back, againthe machine got faulty and the service engineer came for attending the same. Hereplaced the SMPS module and told that machine is ok. But i told him water is not coming properly .He told that R.Omembrane is new one & there is no problem. He left without attending to it.It took more than 3 hours to fill 8 liters of waters.
Since the service engineer emphasised on R.O membrane, I observed the membrane when hewas fixing the machine and noticedthat the R.O membrane was not of the same type as that initiallybrought. When i carefully observed, I noticed that, a Kent sticker was pasted on it . ( It was lightlypeeled off at the edge ).Its a local make RO membrane on which KENT Logo ispasted.
Today again I have contactedOM electronics for service and told that they will attend the call. I feel thatthe R.O is failed because, it’s a duplicate one.
My concern is that while servicing the water filter, it should bereplaced with original filters when done through a Kent Service agency. I paida total of Rs 9500 for servicing, yet the problem is not fixed. . Request KENTto intervene and arrange to rectify the problem, by replacing with genuineparts.
