Frequent repairs & low quality spares | KENT Supreme 1. Even during warranty had frequent repairs (solenoid valve, reject water valve was replaced two to three times), never kept track since it was in warranty 2. After warranty first month SMPS stopped working (INR 800 + 350 service charge) 3. After warranty second time filters both sediment & carbon filters had to be replaced (INR 1200 + 350 service charge) 4. After warranty third month RO membrane had to be replaced which in the manual says has a life of 2 years (INR 2500 yet to pay + 350 service charge) 5. After shouting of frequent repairs to the service guy, he hinted even the UV filter needs to be replaced in next one month time Got this product for INR16, 000 & had to spend around INR6, 000 for maintenance within (3) months after warranty. Important Features mentioned in KENT manual are hoax 1. Water purifier will stop working after filter change due | my Kent purifier is delivering unsafe water for last one month even after RO membrane is gone 2. i am also using kent and i must say it is a good product because I find my relatives and friends who use water purifiers of other brands are complainning of their water purifiers everyday.
Think its under warranty...
After warranty within 3 months I had to spend INR8000 to keep it working...
Lucky I am using soft water. If it was borewell water then had to replace every 6 months.

    We had lodged a complaint with their Company from last 2 days and every day they say the person is coming by 6 in the evening. Although we get it confirmed by calling them atleast 3-4 times in a day. Till today no one has come and we have to buy water from the market for drinking.

      I had Mini water Softner installed at "C-5/237, Sector 31, Noida, 201301". I made a relocation request to a new address "F-51, Sector 51, Noida 201301". The personnel responsible for de-installation visited and packed the softner in a box, and later when another personnel came by at new location to re-install it, he started saying that some components are missing and it would charger 1000 rs. extra. That packet was still in completely packed state when re-opened. The person responsible for de-installation I think misplaced the parts or the person who came by for re-installation at new location knowingly misplaced the parts for extra charges. I had to pay 300 at each location for installation charges which makes 600rs and this is the kind of treatment i get. Kent people misplace the parts to get extra money. And i am still suffering. On making complaint request, they just bluntly say, its your mistake.

        Dear Sir, (1)I had complained about non working of my Kent RO on 05/12/2014 and I had been given Service ticket no.[protected]. The problem was attended but I had to pay for replacement of Pump, cartridges and candles besides taking the AMC. (2)In the evening of 05/12/2014, there was a big sound and the water started flashing inside the machine.The complaint Was registered on customer care on 6/12/2014, but I was not given any complaint no. nor any ticket number, saying that It is a repeated problem, hence complaint no. will not be given. (3)Instead, I was given contact no. of Mr.Surendra Singh(Area head-Technical) who never attended/picked up the call. (4)The problem was attended on 08/12/2014. (5)The problem of leakage was again observed on 10/12/2014, the complaint was lodged with the customer care and I was Given ticket no.[protected].The problem was attended on the same day. (6)On 12/12/2014, i.e.today, the same problem of leakage was observed and the complaint was lodged with the customer Care and was given ticket no.[protected].Also, I was given contact no. of Mr.Surendra Singh Chauhan(DGM-Servies) but he is Also not picking up the phone. Pls. note that I have paid for replacement of all parts like Pump, cartridges and candles as advised by the technician, Mr.Harbhan Singh.Further, I have separately paid for the AMC, but even then I am getting repeated problem.If your technicians are not able to rectify the problem, you are Advised to arrange to refund the payment of Rs.6500/- made by me, else I will be compelled to take further necessary and stern action in this Regard, for which all the expenses will be recovered from KENT.             Dear Team, I have bought " Kent Pearl Mineral RO water Purifier" (Serial number: KR[protected] on 11/11/2014 from AASTHA MOTORS, Kali Bari Road, katihar-854105 (Ph # [protected],[protected] Since the day of installation the power and service led at the top of the purifier are not working.I haven't seen them glowing a single time whenever i switch on the purifier. However it is able to filter water. I made a complain to the service provider and they mentioned that LP switch is broken. Its a new machine and i was expecting them either to fix the LP switch or replace the machine completely. However the service person denied to do so and removed the LP switch completely from machine saying that its of no issue. Kent engineering department is foolish and they have simply added it in machine. Later i tried to register a complain by calling call center and they provided me the contact details of Mr. Manjay from my locality. Since last 2 weeks i am chasing him but there is no proper response on this regard and issue is not yet fixed. I even wrote complain to [protected]@kent.co.in but there is no response at all. Is there any way to fix this issue? Rr there is only one option to go to consumer court now for these kind of frauds? Thanks & Regards, Ved Prakash Katihar

              I have logged a call regarding my Kent RO on 02/12/2014 complain no. 14128. An engineer called me on 03/12/2014 and asked for availability and he will come within an hour. The next day when didn't attain the call talk to customer care center where they gave me the Name of Mr Sandeep Kumar and ph no [protected]. When talked to him, he dealt a customer like a beggar and denying any service without bill and warranty card . As per him first i have to show the card and bill to him then only he will sent somebody to check the same. Though i clearly told him as well as customer care the machine is out of warranty and they are asking for rs 300 for service charge as well as part replacement which i agreed to pay. But Sandeep not only denying any kind of servicing and talked roughly he said no body will help me to service the same as he is the last person who can help me . If i wish i can talk to any body in Kent he does not bother any one. Is it the same kent RO when they try to sell their product they talk to us like we are god . And now Sandeep shows the color of Kent RO service. In future not only i will buy KENT product I will do negative campaign for KENT and will ask other to buy Acua guard or else atleast their service guy will not so illiterate and will not speak to others so rude.

                Third time leakage in a month on a newly purchased Kent Pearl water purifier. When the tank full sensor operates to close the valve the back pressure is kicking the tubings to fly off leading to big leakage. Today it happened third time. I have purchased this from Reliance digital. I have purchased 3 year annual maintenance also. Either it is a design problem or the Reliance maintenance people are not skilled to fix the issues. And most interestingly the Reliance service section in charge ( a lady, in Bangalore) stated when the leakage happened second time "sir, leakages are very common with water purifiers, please call us whenever it happens, we will attend it in 48 hours". and you know very well they come after 5 days, if you do vigorous follow up. I am talking about an equipment which I trusted for providing me drinking water 24x7! These people are so silly and don't understand what they are talking about.

                  I have purchased a new KENT MAXX water purifier on 28-Oct-2014 from M/s. Matrix Electronics, Kamothe, Navi Mumbai 410709.
                  Thereafter the demonstration was arranged by M/s. HAS Enterprises who are responsible for handling demos and services.
                  After 10-12 days of working, my KENT MAXX unit has developed the leakage problem from all corners of the machine with the long beep.
                  Immediately I called M/s. HAS Enterprises for the replacement of the unit but they expressed their inability.
                  So I informed the same to your authorized dealer M/s. Matrix electronics from where I bought the KENT MAXX and requested for the replacement. But they told me that replacement is not possible. Instead they have registered the complaint with M/s. HAS for the repairs of the unit.
                  Then I confirmed the complaint registration by calling HAS Enterprises. The details are as follows:
                  1) Complaint reference number – 10479
                  2) Complaint Date – 17-Nov-2014
                  Meantime a technician came to attend the complaint on[protected], who was the same person who came for demonstration. On examination, he declared that due to water leakage inside the unit, CHOKE got damaged and needs replacement of the same. The technician assured the replacement of choke within 4-5 days.
                  Even after lapse of 15 days, nothing materialized for repair/replacement of faulty unit.
                  This is really very disappointing and frustrating experience with a company of such high reputation.
                  I bought this product because I thought that KENT is leading company in INDIA for water purifier but now I came to know the truth.
                  As a consumer I expect the replacement because the product is faulty, since it is having terrible leaks and irritating beeps after working for hardly 2 weeks.
                  So I request you to look into this matter immediately and arrange to give me new product. (Without repairing the same one)

                      We have bought grand+ and from the day we bought we are frequently got irritated because of the worst product. Always we faced problem like motor gets down, some tubes not working. The service engineers use many terms where a normal public cant understand. During one year we called nearly 6 times for complaining. After that its just 2 months called again 2 times for problem. Money is getting wasted a lot becoz of this RO. Please dont adv. This product and cheat public. worst product.

                        Hello It was found defective after 4 months from the date of purchase ie Feb 2014 and complained 3 times in Jun 2014, It was rectified and worked haphazardly.                           it is to intimate that the kent RO has been purchased for CISF organisation from M/s S P Distributors Ranchi vide bill no. RL/BAJ/63 dated 20.11.2013, which is not working properly. After contacting many times to the distributors the satisfactory service was not given by the same & the RO is still not repaired by the distributor as we are cantacting the firm within the warrenty period. This shows very bad attitude of the distributor towards the customer. Hence it is requested that please give instructions to the distributor to give proper after sale service & repair the RO as early as possible otherwise further action will be taken by this organisation.

                            We purchased Kent RO Grand+ an year back and during the warranty period itself it broke down 6 times and the agent Aishwarya Solar Technologies sent in guys to fix them after repeated calls to customer care. I had to pay for the Carbon filter during the warranty period itself. The service guys were always trying to sell external filters for 1700 Rs which was available outside for 600Rs. They never complied to my request to replace my unit. Right after a couple of weeks after warranty period, the unit slowed down, taking hours to produce water. When called the Customer care, they send a guy who demanded replacing RO filter first (2500 Rs) and then 5 other filters later (4350 Rs). The last guy couldn't test the unit as the Power went off. He promised to return later but didn't show up. When I called the care number, another guy picked up the phone and shouted at me asking me to go to court. Later I realized that the Customer care number on the unit was not Kent's but it was scrambled by a sticker by the Agency. Now I have called the new number and I am waiting to see their response, not to mention I have lost all my patience with this product.

                            Someone called last Friday and hung up saying that she needs to talk to her manager and will call back right after. No response after that. My unit is broken for a week and half now (which was running ok before the service) and Kent doesn't seem to be bothered about it.
                            They sent the old guy again today and now I have to pay for a broken choke too (which was working fine before their service).                             Hi,

                            I have tried calling your dealer, customer care number, online forum customercare.in several times in the last two weeks. Every single one of them have asked me to call someone else giving me new numbers and the last person I was asked to call, Mr K Balagi[protected], didn't pick up my call.

                            So here is a brief about my issue:

                            The unit, right after the warranty expired, started getting slow on producing pure water.
                            When I called the dealer, they sent a guy (Raghu) who without even checking, gave the verdict that RO filter was broke and needed replacement which will cost me 2500Rs.
                            When I said I was not happy as the guy didn't even check the system, they sent another guy (Mylari) who asked me to replace six filers instead of one at a cost of 4350Rs.
                            I didn't want to pay this much as the unit has a history of breakage (six times in past one year) and the amount didn't seem reasonable. I asked the guy to put the unit back in its state as there was no electricity at that time. He promised to return later but didn't show up. When I tried to turn on the unit it seemed totally dead with no response at all.
                            Called the customer care again and the guy there shouted at me asking me to go to court if I want service. He told me that I didn't pay for the service (which I did and I have the receipts with me).
                            When complained via Customer Care again, they told me that I have been calling the number on the unit which was not actual customer care but dealer number imposing as customer care number.
                            I found out the customer care number and customercare.in contact and tried reaching Kent that way.
                            A lady called me from Kent care and told me that she will talk to her manager and get back to me. But she didn't.
                            When I complained again, they sent a guy today (Raghu again) and he told me that the Choke is broken now and that will cost me 950Rs. The unit was working before Mylari serviced it (and after Raghu left) but now I have to pay for a mistake Mylari made.
                            Called Customer care number [protected] and I was asked to call Mr RS Rao[protected], regional service head.
                            A lady by name Prathibha picked, talked to Raghu and told me she will contact Bangalore head Mr. Manikandan (whom I have tried to reach before as directed by care but was on vacation and the in place guy asked me to call Customer care number) and get back to me in 10 minutes.
                            She didn't get back to me even after repeated calls and the receptionist asked me to call Mr K Balagi (message from Prathibha)
                            Mr Balagi didn't pick up his phone after repeated calls.
                            Now, I need to get my unit fixed, to the stage it was before the last service, immediately, and the broken filters fixed right after that.
                            I am expecting you to either give me a refund on the unit or extend its warranty as I do not see a point in spending 4000+ Rs on a unit which has broken down 6 times in the warranty period. If it continue its current course, I will end up paying around 25, 000 Rs this year, which is way above the unit's initial price. If you cannot agree with this, I guess I will have seek help from consumer court and find a legally feasible solution to this conflict.

                            Expecting an immediate response.
                            I've had an equally disastrous experience with Aishwarya Solar TEchnologies.
                            After geeting the service done just 4 days ago, today I noticed that my Kent was leaking.
                            When i called the numbers given on the bill - the lady asked me to repeat my bill number atleast 10 times. Which was quite irritating.
                            Then she asked me when the service wasd one. I told her 15- DEcember - and she kept asking which month!!! I said "obviously this month" She then told someone that I was calling and asking for a service for 15-December-2013!!!
                            I told her "Are you deaf" to which she said "Pls go to police station or consumer court"!!! I intend to file a complaint against Kent & Consumer court both!!
                            This is absolutely ridiculus!

                              We purchased kent grand mineral RO on 16 Nov 2012. In June 2014 we have replaced sediment, carbon and post carbon and uf membrane for Rs 2300 through Aqua world, Jayanagar, Bangalore-11 as water was overflowing . For the last one week the amount of water filtered is very slow and it takes almost about 2-3 hrs for completing the process.The mechanic was called from Aqua World Jayanagar who told that we have to replace the main activated carbon block and also some other parts as outflow water is not coming smoothly and he is asking for Rs 3500 for the same.I am very disappointed with the performance of your product and within less than 2 years the product is malfunctioning., These type of breakdown by the product is not acceptable to any customer.Will you kindly look in to the matter and replace the necessary components free of cost.The reputation of the product will suffer with these issues.                                 Kent Supreme RO unit is by far one of the worst product I have ever purchased. Product started giving problem starting 1st month of purchase. Service engineer told Solenoid valve has to be replaced. It took several visits for service engineer to replace the valve in trail and error basis. After few months the unit stopped working again. This time the board inside the unit has to be replaced. Again it took some time for the service engineer to replace the board. After few months the unit stopped working again. This time the same board failed and I have replace out of my pocket since the RO unit just crossed the warranty period. Worst part is, the board is guaranteed to work for only one month, if the board fails after one month, I need to pay out of my pocket.

                                Kent Supreme is one of the worst product I have ever seen. From day1 it starts giving problem, I got new machine replaced as delivered was faulty internals. Then after every 3 months it is giving problem then service engineer will visit every time and replaces something or other and get Rs. 500 charges.

                                Lastly two months before he replaces RO+UV and extra purifier set and charged me Rs.7000 and told it will run for next two years.

                                But again after 1 months its starts giving problem, water gets leaked inside the Purifier and service engineer said cylinder burst inside and need to be replaced. I got pissed off and don't know what to do now.

                                This is one of the WORST company I wrongly trusted and spend around 12k for repair for this junk purifier. I will make sure no one buys this product and get annoyed.

                                  The worst services I have seen till now from AXIS Consumer Kolkata (RO Service Provider). It's pathitic. Is it possible we can shift to any other RO service provide in Kolkata Otherwise it would be good to Switch to another RO Service rather than KENT.

                                  The persons with RO Filter residing in KOLKATA we provide servicing of any brand RO Filter at very reasonable rates and only charge when the problem is solved, no visiting charge is taken, when we solve the problem we charge.                                       Hi, In first week of Oct. I got new Kent Gand + Ro Installed and within a months time it has stated give problems. I see water leaking from the unit after every 10 days and its very difficult to get Kent Technicians for fixing issues.
