This is a complaint againt Kent RO. The product broke down 3 times within the same year of purchase. The service is also miserable in Bangalore. We purchased Kent RO from Devi International which is located in Jayanagar, Bangalore. The mother board stopped working 2 times in 6 months. It costs 1000Rs + 350 for service. The technician advices and advertise to go for AMC (annual maintenance contract) which is 6000Rs. It think it is all a trap, first make and sell cheap and low stability product then sell their AMC and service to make business.

    Sir/Madam, I had already sent the scanned copies of my Kent G+ installation card filled by Mr.Pradeep Gowda who came for installation from M/s Pearl infotech and i have sent the bill copy issued by M/s Pearl infotech for charging Rs.350 as towards installation charges by giving a different nomenclature as 're-intallation' which is nothing but cheating the customers. I hav got the audio clip - conversation between me and Mr.Santhosh/higher authority from M/s Pearl infotech who told that since it was not purchased from them they have charged and normal installation charges is Rs.450/. My concern is not Rs.350 which they have cheated my hard earned money but only how they change their words and i have also got the audio clip in which they have told me that the pre-filter will be serviced free of cost for one year, but when i called up them, i was told it is not free and chargeable. I request Kent company to arrange for free service of my grant + which i am entitled during warranty period. I dont know inspite of several complaints U r not at all bothered to arrange for free service of the G+. I want the free service from some better service oriented service centre of Kent and not from M/s Pearl Infotech.No response from your side for having received my previous mail dated 26.6.14 along with scanned copies of warranty card and bill copy from M/s Pearl infotech. U can see the handwriting of Mr.Pradeep gowda in the bill and warranty card on the same date. I was told by the lady in regional office of bangalore as if i m lying that it was not first installation by M/s Pearl Infotech (as it was told by Mr.Santosh during telecon arranged by R.O of Bangalore, that they have done reinstallation). I m working in a central govt office as a Gazetted Officer, there is no need for me to lie for Rs.350 when i am getting a Central Govt. pay and i have never gone behind money in my service of more than 16 years. I am least bothered for money other than earning in proper way rather than making money through unethical means. Again i would like to mention that its not the question of Rs.350 but the way M/s Pearl infotech change their words and they are lying the fact of first time installation without giving the installation receipt and simply detaching the warranty card from the kent manual book supplied with the unit and not at all serviced the unit even once during the free service period of one year. They even lied about the non-availability of kent make pre-filter and they have installed a low quality pre-filter by charging Rs.2000. I just believed that they being kent dealer would not lie about non availability of kent prefilter. as always u cannot doubt a dealer/company which have proved that i was at fault in believing them.once again i request u that i dont need any service from M/s Pearl infotech but only from some other better Kent service centre in Bangalore which Kent company/Regional office is not at all caring to arrange so far which shows that Kent is only interested in pushing up sales and not interested in better and transparent service to customers without any troublesome by service centres of kent. I dont know the email id of the proprietor of Kent or otherwise i will mail my problems faced with kent service as even after several phone calls and mails to kent, grant plus unit has not been serviced. I feel ashamed for purchasing kent which is such a worst company as the company is least bothered to attend to complaints.ganesh [protected]

      KAMAL ENTERPRISES(Kent Shoppe) from gurgaon sector 30 gave me wrong information regarding the Kent warra nty. When I came to know about this, I follow up with KENT customer care persons. I emailed to Kent on 05- June- 2014 and ask them to take some action or give me some solutions. But they didn't reply. Also I ahve around 10 numbers (of kent) where I called and but they were just giving me some other numbers. Today it is 11 -July-2014 and till now I didn't get any reply from kent. I sent them around 8 to 10 reminders but they didn't reply nor they gave me any solution on phone. Even it was about the miscommitment by KAMAL Enterprises, but the main thing is that even Kent persons didn't respond to me even after following more that one month.

          Dear sir. This is nirmal from tiruppur(Tamil Nadu).last week your service reprensatative had visited our home for general check up of our Kent water purifier.he insisted us to go for AMC, which we refused & after that he purposely wrongly fitted the filters (the photos of which I had taken & sending you), due to which the main filter got choked & the filter stopped working.this we came to know when another person from tiruppur branch visited our home & he only asked us to take photos and mail to customer care.they are installing duplicate parts also the photos of which is enclosed, this is real cheating done with customers'I suggest you to take serious action against them because of whom your goodwill is at stake, please inform me what action you have taken since I'm planning to do a case at consumer court Also.my mobile no is [protected].the authorised servicer name is PERFECT SERVICE at coimbatore

            I bought Kent Pearl 10 months before, Next day of installation it got stopped working and it has plenty of problem. When calling service center, i am not getting response. I have referred this product to few colleagues, and they have bought same model. And they all are getting problem with this product, I don't think i am going to refer any other person any more. It is a horrible product since it doesn't last an year too. I will discontinue with this product since it is heavy loss for me and also i am going to launch a complaint on consumer court.

              Hi, This is Santosh Sah. My Kent RO consumer number is YSM 1984. I have lodged a complain regarding bad water taste and water overflow on Saturday ( 5 june 2014) but no body visited till Sunday. I have lodged the complained again on Monday and engineer ( Navneet from Noida) visited my home and said he had rectified it but problem persists even after an hour. RO kept overflowing whole night causing kitchen get flooded. Today when I tried calling Navneet he said since he has already visited so lodge a fresh complaint. I called up service center and after 3 hours of continuous try I was able to speak to one associate and he said yes you have to lodge a fresh complain and somebody will visit. I am still waiting for somebody to visit and rectify the issue. This is worst experience with KENT RO. Regards, Santosh [protected]

                My kent ro is not working properly, even after numerous follow-ups to the service center i am not getting proper service and response from kent. And if they are coming after repeatative calls, without knowing the proplem they are just changing the filter at our cost. But the problem is still there, tds of water is still fluctuating and we are not getting proper drinking water.As a result we stopped drinking water from kent and we are buying mineral water from market as my son got ill after drinking kent water. We have been using kent for last 3 years but now we are really disappointed with the sevices and the product

                    Hi I have purchased one Kent RO Supreme model on 29th November 2013. This machine is not working and every month it is giving some kind of major problems. The machine was taken back from my home by the servicing agency for repair five times and till today the machine is not working. I have written several emails to the company, but did not get any response. I asked for the replacement of the machine and the service center is harassing me every time. This is just manipulation to extract more money, thus we are not planning to buy Kent next time. Even your service boys, says it hardly matter to the company.

                        Dear Kent Representative, We had purchased your Water Miniral RO products (KR[protected] at the same time about 6 months back from Electronic Palace Shri Enterprises(Invoice # 2850 TIN# [protected] Date- 07 Dec'2013) Padrauna Dist Kushinagar. assuring us of the best of the services all the time. However, last year we had constant problem with RO. The tank was overflowing. My father was called to above supplier and he arrange a technician and introduced as an Engineer from Kent. That technician came and open RO machine's cover and suggested my father to replace RO membrane, he replaced but problem is the same as before. Finally we realized that electronic palace has been arranged local unskilled technician. Please try to stop this type of local distributors who stamping and on Warrantee card without any formal authorization by Kent. Again I called on[protected] and she given me Gorakhpur Area manager's mobile number [protected] (Srivastava), I called on this number several times, even today morning I called him more than ten times. But he did not response my call. I would say this is service from Kent's manager (Gorakhpur) where customers are crying but they are not serious about customer. PLEASE help us to come out of it and live freely in KENT WS system. Sir, we need your serious attention and intervention to solve this issue on URGENT basis. Waiting for your positive reply on said issue barring which we might be forced to knock the doors of Consumer forum. Hope that every issue would be sorted out at your earliest.                           Sir, I have bought your product Kent RO today. when I contacted your company representative Mr Parween Mb no [protected] for installing the product he is insisting for an item as pre filter installation which is going to cost me more than Rs1000 extra. He has refused to install the RO without said item. Ifi it is must to install a pre filter then why the same is not a standard part of the appliance. I further state that water supply in my area is reasonably clean which we are using it directly from the tap for driking. if I have to use an additioal filter before your appliance then what is the justification of buying your so costly product? finally I expect that company will keep its promise of customer satisfaction in the absense of which i will be forced to knock the door of consumer court .                             This is a forward of the final mail sent to Mr Rahul Shah, Senior Sales Official Ahmedabad. Dear Mr Shah, Regards All the details of the problems faced by us with your Kent PERK machines should be well known to you by now. In the last 8 months we have had to call your service guys at least 12 times for various faults and malfunctions. The other machine sold to Excel Hospital was purchased on my personal recommendation. Till today I regret having recommended your product. As per my messages to you and Mr Jayesh Joshi on Whatsapp a little while ago, we are now totally fed up of your product. Your sales guy (Mr Jay Joshi) promised us the moon whiling finalizing the deal. He totally disappeared from the scene and would not even receive our calls thereafter. Now we were at the mercy of your inept service team. The reasons for malfunctions given every time were so so stupid that a 5 year old kid would not be fooled, leave alone qualified specialist doctors. Most of the time I did not know whether to laugh or cry at the level of stupidity and spoken. We are now totally totally fed up. I had threatened to send the machines back to the dealer / dealer many times but did not follow through. Mr Mukesh of Service has been singularly unhelpful and uncooperative and has not given me the address of your service center. Ditto for Mr Jayesh Joshi. I am left with no alternative now other than to approach Consumer court. I shall also send both the machines to the dealer. If he does not accept them, I shall discard them as scrap, by weight. Maybe publicly on the road outside my hospital. Your people have never taken our complaints seriously. This is the worst part of the whole episode. I have other more important work than running after your service guys every few days and listening to complaints about the water from my patients first thing in the morning. My partners and I are now decided now, we will not use these machines any longer. I have already written off these machines as a loss and will be purchasing new RO machines and coolers tomorrow. Never in my life, again, will I, my partners or staff ever buy a Kent product. Dr Rishi Grover

VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AFTER PURCHASING KENT Ro I am a new customer of your company, and very very much disappointed from the service of your company. I purchased kent supreme RO from hyderabad, from bajaj Electronics panjagutta .And its being one month and our Kent is still packed in the box. When we contacting CUSTOMER CARE no [protected] toll free number we r asking for any service they are giving another no of their engineer [protected] Karimnagar. When we contacting this person first he is not attending calls .trying 5, 6 times he is attending call and saying instalation charges 500 i[censored] agree we will send technician in 3 to 4 days but no one came till 28 days.iam agreed and told ok sir I will pay what how much u ask .till it is not installed .This the service ur providing to coustermer. Its actually giving me feel, i am calling in some government customer care, actually its worst than that. You are running a Private company, and your are providing such services. Customer satisfaction, the basic of marketing strategy, and you have a lot no. o[censored]nsatisfied customer, as you can Google it on customer forum. Kindly understand, the whole thing will reflect on the name of your company. Obviously, i would never refer anyone this kent RO company so will do the other unsatisfied customers. I am sending the address where the RO has to be installed. And i request you to arrange something for there and do it for the sake of your company name. See after spending Rs.16, 800/- on machine which was not installed on said time, I must get have a lesson on behave, !! WOW!!! What a company and what a service!!.                                   WORST SERVICE. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AFTER PURCHASING
                                  KENT Ro
                                  I am a new customer of your company, and very very much
                                  disappointed from the service of your company. I purchased kent
                                  supreme
                                  RO from hyderabad, from bajaj Electronics panjagutta .And its being
                                  one
                                  month and our Kent is still packed in the box.
                                  When we contacting CUSTOMER CARE no [protected] toll free
                                  number we r
                                  asking for any service they are giving another no of their engineer
                                  [protected] Karimnagar. When we contacting this person first he is
                                  not
                                  attending calls .trying 5, 6 times he is attending call and saying
                                  instalation charges 500 i[censored] agree we will send technician in 3 to 4
                                  days
                                  but no one came till 28 days.iam agreed and told ok sir I will pay what
                                  how
                                  much u ask .till it is not installed .This the service ur providing to
                                  coustermer. Its actually giving me
                                  feel, i am calling in some government customer care, actually its
                                  worst than that.
                                  You are running a Private company, and your are providing such
                                  services. Customer satisfaction, the basic of marketing strategy,
                                  and you have a lot no. o[censored]nsatisfied customer, as you can Google it
                                  on customer forum.
                                  Kindly understand, the whole thing will reflect on the name of your
                                  company. Obviously, i would never refer anyone this kent RO
                                  company so will
                                  do the other unsatisfied customers.
                                  I am sending the address where the RO has to be installed.
                                  And i request you to arrange something for there and do it for the
                                  sake of your company name.
                                  See after spending Rs.16, 800/- on machine which was not installed
                                  on said time, I must get have a lesson on behave, !!
                                  WOW!!! What a company and what a service!!.

                                    I bought KENT RO PEARL from Tamil Nadu on 05 Jun 2013. Now i have shifted to Binnaguri In West Bengal. I installed the Pearl RO but it did not work. I launched a complaint in the call centre. I waited for almost a two weeks before an individual came and met me. His name was Amit ( mob No [protected]) and claimed to be from Kent. His name and number was given to me by Mr Shidhar (mob no [protected]) who is supposedly the service manager for Siliguri.

                                    When Mr Amit saw the machine he told me that the ballast was faulty so he would try and fix it through some modification/ wire interchanging/ totka or whatever that may be. I objected to it because as i understand the machine is computerised. He insisted that he knew his job well. I also inquired about the warranty as it was still valid. His reply to this was that the warranty was only valid at the place of purchase i.e Tamil Nadu. This was rather surprising to me.

                                    As he dug further, the machine went dead and he said that he had to replace the ballast and two filters. He did so the next day and charged me Rs 3000/- ..The service light of my machine is always to which he replied that i should only be concerned about water. He has refused to come again and says that the money cannot be refunded.

                                    My issues:-

                                    1. I am not sure if my machine is working properly or not. I am worried since my families health is involved.

                                    2. I am not sure weather Mr Amit was from Kent or not? No I card and no other proof.Why?

                                    3. No bill was given. Only a piece of paper in which the total amount was mentioned.Why?

                                    4. Why my warranty cover is not all India? Since it was in the warranty period, i need an explanation.

                                    5. The conduct of the individual was rather rude. After taking the money he has just refused to respond to my problem.

The Dealer have supplied defective machine which showed frequent leakage of water and partial submersion of filters even from the day one. Kindly replace the RO system.
