Dear Sir/Ma’am,
I bought a Kent Water Purifier on 07.03.2012. The Model is Kent Grand+, Serial Number KR[protected]. Invoice number : 2176, Invoice Date : 05.03.2012.
As I knew the tap water in our area is of a very bad quality, I asked the guy who came to our home for demonstration that if the system would be good for our area also. And I was convinced that the Model was very good for all areas.
But, we never got the taste as good as mineral water, and for last 10-15 days the water coming out from the system had a very bad taste, and the internal light was remaining on all the time. So I asked for a service (No. 4294) on 12.06.2012 from our local area service office, and the detail of the service office is : 19-South Purbachal Road, Kolkata 700078, Ph. :[protected] and [protected].
The service guy came and declared after lots of testings and all, that, the iron remover is no good for the system, and we have to replace it, and because of the quality and capacity of the Iron filter, the main unit or filter is chocked and that is to be replaced also. So the water coming now is of very less quantity and bad quality, and we need a higher quality of Iron remover, which would cost me around Rs. 3000/- more, to be installed outside our purifier.
I bought the Water Purifier at Rs. 16500/- and now just after 3 months they are saying to spend another amount of Rs. 3000/-, so the actual cost is being Rs. 19,500/-. And if I knew that, this kind of things were going to happen I would never go for the BEST model of Kent. Rather go for other company’s purifier available in Market.
And I must say, this is quite common in all companies in our country, that they first convince you to buy product from them, and then go on imposing more and more expenditure on that. Nobody from Kent told me told about this kind of things going to happen with our purifier and I have to go on spending lots of money on my purifier to keep it going.
So I must conclude that just like any other cheap companies, Kent also taken up their business policy by cheating their customer.

Kent, R.O — complaint is not being attended
Dear sir,I had comlaint to Kent R.O System on 15/4/10 vide complaint No. 376514 given by the Co. and it was committed to atain the complaint by 16/410.
Despite giving repeated call to the co. on customer care no.[protected] no one has come to see the problem in my R.O.
Imagine, in yhis summer what problem we would be facing.
I want the Co. first to atten the complaint and lso the person authorise to see the complaint ,to be punished for this.
