we bought kent grand + on 7th April 2012 and by 5th April 2013 we found that its adapter is getting over heated and so it water and finally there was no purified water coming........next day we logged complain..since our warranty was about to expire we requested lady on desk from Global distributors told that she would be sending someone to check it and took our new address and everything but no one turned up. on 9th April 1 check was doen and guy suggested to buy anotehr pre filter since water is of high TDS (while selling they said it takes care of high tds water) and he commited to come in a day to change the filter which is damaged but till date i.e. 16th April 2013 m waiting. Our second service which is covered in warranty was also not done and was due but then these guys are just not interested and now warranty period has expired. I logged grievance and recieved a mail stating that it will be resolved by ASM but that guy enevr contacted me, i contacted him (since his number was in mail) and found him oblivious about my complaint, i have to narrate him entire thing but tsill issue is not resolved now anotehr thing has come up...because of drinking adulterated mineral water bought from grocery shop, my 1 n half yr old son is suffering form stomach cramping and fever. I really want to know what can i do here. its just a matter of changing one filter and these guys are so irresponsive.

    This is regarding the kent RO water purifier (KENT GRAND+) we bought on 5th April 2012, sales guy told us that it can purify water with TDS upto 50-60 post filteration..... Now on 5th April 2013 our purifier stopped working, adapter was super hot and i called the customer care executive the lady on-call told that she is going to send someone on saturday, we spent whole weekend sitting at home waiting for the guy from kent to come and resolve our issue.......after an array of calls one guy came on 9th April checked it and said the chalk/ filter has to be changed he also proposed to have a prefilter, when i asked him to change the filter and give us time to think about pre filter, he left saying he wil come in a day to change it..........again i made a series of calls and everyday i was told that guy is coming the very day but no one turned up. It been more than a week i am suffering because 'once sold' no one in kent is bothered enough to rersolve queries related to the product, i invested a huge amount in this product and was told it in itself is enough for purifying worst fo the types of waters but now i am asked to buy a pre filter and the problem with the bought product is not attended since more than a week. water is bare minimum necessity for any family. i have 20 months old son and he is suffering from stomach flu as water we bought from grocery store was adulterated. Kent guys are not responding, they have formally responded to one email asking distributor's name n my address, to which i responded "Global distributor" and "wakad", then there was no mail stating when the filter will be changed. when i logged the complaint my AMc didnt bexpoired but today because of delay the limit is exhausted. over and above that my son is sufering.

      Purchased Kent RO Pearl on 11 Sep 2012 from Riya Impex Pvt. Ltd. Purchase details: Invoice: 2426 Supplier Ref: CMP-1233, DT.10.09.12 and this product got installed by Siraj. Issue: Water taste is not good and to get 8 lts of water it takes 4 hours + and wasting more than 80 ltrs of water. Since February I''m facing issue and problem not resolved. Engineer visited on 17 Feb 2012 did something and issue persisted and he charged Rs.35 for that visit and he visited after a week and took some filters with him and he kept the product down for a week and came back fixed the filter on 2 March 2013(not sure what he has done) but problem not solved and more over he suggested us not to call them anymore because hereafter again since Service will be taken care by Kent directly. He gave the number of engineer Mr.Kalidass [protected]. I called Kent Kalidass and he said call logged and it will be resolved in 48 hours. but he havent send anyone till Saturday (9 March)so I called him on 9 March after noon and he said that can send engineer only on 10 March (Sunday). 10 March engineer in the name of Mohanraj ([protected]) visited my home by 6.30 pm and tested the water quality and confirmed problem with carbon filter and Membrine and it needs to be replaced. He said I may need to pay for Carbon filter. I refused to pay because its not even 6 months, he said i will talk to my office and get back. Till not he havent contacted and I called Kalidass 18 March and he said i have to pay for that then only he can provide service and again refused. He said i will get back once checked some details with manager, but he havent gave any call back till date and problem not attended and he is not responding to my call from that day. Shall i file a case against Kent ? I dont want to leave this as it is because i spent 15750 Rupees and top of it they want me to purchase one external filer and i did that also on 03 Jan 2013 for Rs.1500 + 50 installation charge. Service Head Mr.Rajesh is not responding properly on the escalation I made and he said i will support my team only and he is not bothered about the customer concern. He is rude and not answering to any of the questions and he is not ready to give the complaint number also.

        I purchased a Kent Gold water purifier recently; ;lesser than 1 month. Now the performance is so poor by water purifier, it takes a lot of time to purify a glass of water like 3 hours. Its a pain to drink purified water waiting a long long time. I want to get this serviced/replaced immediately. Our need is not getting fulfilled at all.

        I agree. In my case, I purchased a Kent ExcelPlus Unit in July'11. From the very first week I had problems pertaining to leakage from the housing, leakage from the joints of the UV System, the unit dispensing more air and less or no water to name a few problems. Technicians and senior technicians have visited us over 200 times till date. On completion of the warranty period, we were told that some of the components have failed and requires replacement. To my surprise slowly each and every component except the body of the unit has been replaced but all the problems still persists. On a few occassions, when we have returned back home after a couple of hours we have found our whole house flooded and then it is a task to mop up the water and clean the house. Substandard quality backed by very poor service and absolute lack of commitment from the Kent Officials.
        I agree with you guys that the service from kent is too poor. I've got it repairs 3 times with in 7 months of purchase. The worst part is this service center in Bangalore called "Aqua world" they do not properly respond to customer requirements & just keep the customers wandering with false promises. My recent complaint number is 1006 which was raised on 17th Apr which is not attended even four days have been completed. I called their office nearly 7 times yesterday & they every time told that the technician Ajit will come to my house, no one came. Today u spoke to their manager Shiva, who falsely committed again that Ajit will before 5, when he did not come, upon calling Shiva, he's not at all responding to my calls not message. It's truly depressing. Kent such a reputed service has to look into this to keep their existing customer happy & thereby attract new customer. Otherwise, God only can help them surviving in this dynamic market. Thx, Arun (+91 [protected])

          Dear sir

          With due respect I would like to bring to your notice the issue of extra charges asked for the repairing of my RO system even after payment of AMC. My Kent RO system was not working properly so I lodged a complaint on 18-2-13, my complaint number was D12328070., and in response one of your employees , Mr. Sanjay Kumar , employee code number 5590, came to check the system on 19-2-13. He told me that my system was not under AMC and so in order to repair the system he told me that I have to pay Rs 3200/- . He also informed me that if I pay the AMC of Rs 2000/- them I wont have to pay Rs3200/- and all the charges for repairing the system will be included in the AMC amount. He did not provide me with any estimate bill. After filling up the receipt for AMC Mr sanjay informed me that I have to pay Rs 300/- extra as service charges for that day and this was not informed to me before. We paid Rs 2300/- the copy of receipt of which is enclosed and the correction in amount is highlighted. The parts were not repaired on that day.

          I again lodged a complaint on 13-3-13, my complaint number was D12351863, and this time i was attended by a new employee of yours, Mr. Suresh Kumar. After checking the system he estimated a bill of Rs-3215/-. He told me that I need to pay this amount even if I have paid the AMC as this amount was not included in the AMC. This was completely contradictary to what Mr. Sanjay has informed me. If I had to pay this amount of Rs3215/- even after paying the AMC the why was I asked to pay the AMC if maintainance and replacement of the parts was not included . I am being cheated upon by your employees. When your employees are themselves are not clear about the norms then how can you send such people to sought out the problems of your customers? Is this the service you provide to your customers? I am shocked to see the kind of service you provide and how your employee has fooled me.

          I request you to look into the matter and take necessary action as soon as possible. Looking forward to your response .

              Dear Sir,

              I have purchased a Kent Grand + water purifier on 5th Feb'12. AS per the specification, the water purifier is supposed to provide Filter change alarm, UV lamp problem alarm. AS per the warranty Kent is also supposed to provide 2 free services in 6 months duration.

              1st of all , we could able to get 1st service after few follow ups and no body came for 2nd service. The machine suddenly stopped working on 21Feb'13. I raised a complain. The customer service engineer informed us that few electrical parts are not working since filter is not changed and he charged Rs.5000. However as per promise, the machine should give alarm for filter change.

              I raised a complaint at their website but did not get any response.

              Request for your support to address this issue.

                We Brought KENT Mini Water softener from The Great Easter, 277/2/1, B.T.ROAD
                GHOHPARA, SINTHIMORE KOLKATA-700036 on 26th Dec 2013, along with a Washing Machine, after which it was request from the seller that they will contact Kent_Customer Care to provide the Installation and Demo to the Deliver Address, but it's almost 2+ month passed, still no response received from the Kent Service Center, even repeatedly we are trying to contact them, but Response is Same as Earlier, and the "KENT Mini Water softener" still unpack.



                It will be glad if we get assistance from these Personal, might be I think it will be unpacked and the all money is wasted for such a Worst Product from the Worstest Company

                Kent RO water purifier systems — Installation

                this is regarding the complaint against water purifier Kent RO. The machine is shifted from calcu tta to Orissa. We had given the assurity to install it in orissa nobody has turned up for a month back. the service is so poor. As the m/c is under AMC also. So wht is the use of AMC and the water purifier.

                  Hello,

                  I am writing a complaint about Kent Tap Guard I bought on 15/02/2013 from an online website (snapdeal.com). Within 3 days o[censored]sing the tap guard the equipment started malfunctioning; there was impure water coming from the tap guard and the flow of water also reduced to droplets when it was put on the "PURE" mode. The flow of water from the unfiltered spray & unfiltered Straight adjustment on the TAP Guard is extremely dirty which cannot be used even for washing purposes !!!!
                  On 25/02/2013, I tried contacting the Service Centre on the number[protected]. After multiple number of attempts (due to poor level of customer service) we got a complaint to be raised & the complaint no. given was 17542. We were assured that a service person will come to check the tap guard within next 24 hours. However, till date nobody has come to check the tap guard. I have tried to contact the service centre many a times since then but all i get to know is that there was no complaint registered and some one will contact me soon for the complaint (which apparently was not raised) !
                  The model no of the product is "SX5-KR-01". It costed me Rs.2250.
                  I was given the following contact numbers for reaching the right person every time I called the customer service no. -

                  The representative speaking to me would just put me on hold for atleast 10 mins. & come back only to give another contact number for the service person ! I am very very disappointed and highly annoyed with this product and its after sales service !
                  I would really appreciate if you could help me sort this issue and if you could ask someone from KENT to come my residence to check the TAP Guard.
                  These KENT associates who spoke to me have my number registered with them and also my residential address.
                  If they cannot afford to send someone for the aftersales service, I want my money back as I feel I have wasted Rs.2250 !!!

                  The details of the Kent product I bought Product: Kent Pearl Mineral RO S/N # KR[protected] The main purpose of buying a product worth Rs. 16000 (approximately) is to have clean water...                   there is no authorized sales Representative in my area. kent have given some agencies.
                  At first servicing motor &amp; filter get replaced . cost- 4000
                  after 10 days again system fault. now they asking for 2500 to change membrane.
                  after one year total cost is 6500.with no further guaranty.

                  My concern is,

                  1)why these companies not giving all the information regarding cost of each spare &amp; excepted annual cost of maintenance at the time of perches.

                  2)why the cost of spares are too high. is there any regulatory to decide the cost of such equipments which are going to be mandatory for human lives.

                  3)why gov. is not taking any action to provide after sales service from these profit making companies.

                    We have purchased kent maxx product one and half year ago.. We also made an AMC with kent service center in kharagpur and it is renewed on Sept 2012..
                    We are sorry to say that This product and Service, Both are not good. Product (Kent Maxx) breaks down every few days. In spite of a number of complaints and repairing, the machine keeps on breaking down every other day. Common complaints include membrane change, nrv not working, lamp not working, elbows leaking. This Product Never Lasted more than 20 days without Defect.

                    AMC People are not helping us. In December 2012, They came to our office after Many Calls and Took away the filter with them. They said that it will be repaired at kolkata. Since than, 2 months are passed and they never returned. Now they are not picking our Phone. We try 2-3 Times every day but they are not picking our phone.

                    We dont need a Bad PRODUCT of a Bad COMPANY with Bad SERVICE. Kent in Investing more in Advertisements and less in Products. We request the company to refund our money.
                    We had installed Kent RO system two & a half years back which is when I thought that I had installed state-of-art water purifier at my house and my family can continue to drink clean water. Little did I know that my comfort level was ephemeral and would lead a short-lived life of only 6 months...which is when I had to put reminders, take stress, deal with uncouth-service-engineers on a regular basis!! I would dread even the regular service engineer visits. Kent RO is a product that works perfectly so long as it works, which is seldom though.

                    There hasn't been a month where I haven't called the customer service and complained about something or the other. I remember paying around 10000 rupees for the product, and I would have spent close to 20000 by now?? Every 2 three months there would be "pump leakage", tap broken, candle broken, internal wires gone awry. Having used the product now for close to 3 years...the product makes more noise than my washing machine...service engineer charges more for RO repair than I pay for phone and electricity bill combined.

                    To make matters worse, if we call the service centre...then the person asks us "Do you want me to come from the company's side or should I come as an independent engineer. Independent charges will be less than a half of what I will charge if I come representing the company!!"

                    That's the kind o[censored]ncouth service engineers you people have hired. I pledge to never take any product of your company...who care more about Hema-malini's saree in their ad than the actual customer problems.

                    Absolutely pathetic product. Disgusting service. Over sensibility towards customer is zero. Shame on you Kent to be in customer service industry!!

                      cockroach in water purified by kent

                      Hi we have purchased a new kent pearl Ro system on the 8th Day of Aug 2012.
                      Their has always been some or the other insects like fly's, cockroaches, ants coming in the water purified by Kent. We have made complain to the technicians but they say their is a flow in design that allows these insects to get into the tank.
                      Kindly check the water purifier at the earliest or exchange the machine and give me a fault free machine....

                      Dear Concerned,

                      I called Customer care of RO and requested them for the reinstallation of my Kent RO, one the other side of waal, as needed to install the Gas pipeline on that side of the wall. After calling tgem twice and requesting that it is very urgent (coz the gas pipeline people were supposed to visit us next day).

                      Still, there is no response from them for 2 days, and we are waiting for their representative to visit us.
                      Dear sir i have brought kent grand water purifier Machine no.-KR[protected] from Ajay TVCenter Gurdaspur till to date no budy come for service. know iam facing problem is that whine switch on the machine wipp sound coming out kent filter not working we need your serious attention to solve this issue on URGENT basis.thank u

                        I have Kent water purifier which I bought under one year warranty. After the expiry of warranty period I did AMC with the company for one year for which 4 services in a year was due. These people never come on time or the services and that too After reminders from the company. My last service was due on 6th feb. no body turned up on the date as expected so I called up the company for the services. Next day technician comes up saying kent has given his service dealership to distributors so we would be doing services for you and he asked for a new AMC to be signed. When I referred to the company, they said don't get it done through these distributors and we will send our technician in a day or two. From 10 thfeb onwards nobody has turned for the service and I keep on calling them for which they every time say technician is coming today or tomorrow. I am extremely disappointed with the services which kent offers to their customers.

                          The above unit was installed at my residence purely on account of the reputation of the company. It was very clearly conveyed to us by their staff and company that in case of dis-satisfaction or mall functioning, equipment will be taken back and our entire payment for the same will be refunded.

                          Within two days it was mall functioning. Their people tried and have been unsuccessful in solving the problem. We have been very cooperative.

                          When we wrote to them on 25th January after repeated efforts by their service people to rectify the mall functioning, they had clearly told us that instrument will be taken back and entire amount would be refunded to us. A reminder was sent on 28th January (both the emails are attached).

                          I am extremely surprised and shocked to learn that now they are saying that the money will not be refunded and another effort will be made to rectify the instrument. This is simply not acceptable. Kent are advised to refund our entire amount immediately as a defective brand new equipment is never repaired. It is either replaced or money refunded.

                          We are very shocked about the attitude of Kent Management. We have not received any feedback till now after sending the four reminders.

                            The main purpose of buying a product worth Rs. 16000 (approximately) is to have clean water. Now that I have had this for well over 2 months, I feel like drinking shift water. Water, with Cockroaches and other insects. Do I need to spend money to ruin our family health?


                            I immediately logged a call with Kent team. Here is the humor.

                            A person from Kent service center visits my place on Tuesday 5th February 2013. I was just returning from office and noticed this guy walking out of my place. When enquired, my family members mentioned that his guy was from Kent and has ‘repaired’/’resolved’ the issue. Further looking on to what he has done, IT WAS SHOCKING. This so called Kent TECHNICIAN has just placed a plaster and said this is a known issue with Kent Pearl and fooled around my family members and walked out. NO receipt of complaint / ticket #. What the service is this?.

                            I immediately stopped this guy, who was about to skip/runaway from my place. He started off saying the same story. Placing a plaster, fooling around my family members ?.

                            Then, he told that I had to talk to Aravind, ASM, Kent at [protected]. This guy, says the same that Kent Pearl has known issues and he has a permanent fix to place a rubber.. Later I was thrown around between customer service number and Aravind to log a complaint. Later Aravind says he will have someone call me back. No response again.

                            What is this? If you guys know that this is a known issue, why did you sell this?

                            This is a cold blooded cheating. I need this addressed asap.

                              This is to bring to your attention the kind of service I am receiving from Kent service center. I have Kent RO installed at my place, actually it is in the whole society. They have dedicated phone numbers provided on which customer can call if they have any issue with the RO System. These number are
                              [protected] and [protected]. The whole episode goes like below:

                              Yesterday at 9:00 AM I called above number and lodged a complaint that my RO is not working and its tap is broken. Person said that engineer will visit by 12:00 and it will get rectified. I requested if it is possible to do it earlier because I have to go to the market to do some other stuff, he said it wont be possible to do before 12:00, I said okie fine, please make sure to do it by 12:00. He said dont worry. At 1:00 PM I again called and asked him no body has still visited and I am waiting just for you and have not been going anywhere else. He pretended, oh! nobody visited? my person is already there in your society, he said he will be there in another half an hour. I called again at 2:30, he said I should not worry, the work will surely be done by the end of the day, he has already given the new tap to the person visiting. I again called at 4:30, he did not pick the phone. I again called at 6:00, he again did not pick up the phone. I wasted my whole day and still no work was done.

                              Next day, means today morning I again called him at 9:00 AM. He picked up the phone, I asked him what kind of service you provide, you promised work will be done by yesterday and yyou stopped picking up my phone. You have pathetic service, and can you believe what he said "sir pathetic service to hai, main kya karun, ladaka kal chala gaya doosron ka kaam karke, nahin gaya aapke pass, main aaja karvata hoon pakka." I said by what time, he said in another 2 hours, means by 11:00. I waited till 12, then I again called him, this time he had his both the above numbers switched off. I got furious. I went downstairs to complaint about these folks to my society manager. He got this guys home number and called him and reprimended him to rectify the issue in next 1 hours means by 1:00. He assured the manager that he will do it. But I called him again at 1:30, this time he said "ladaka already pahuncha hua hai, woh kar degga. I was furious and I asked him by when? and why you keep on making false promises? He said he will ask his guy to call me. I got a call from [protected]. He said he will reach in another 1 hour. Now imagine, the guy himself is saying that he will reach in one hour but other person was saying that he is already there. I asked him to reach with in half an hour, otherwise I will complaint to the higher authority of Kent, he started LAUGHING and said he will come. Seems the whole Kent company is corrupt, it is normal for them if we complaint to anybody be it GM of the company or any Manager!!!!!! That is why he laughed. So I made up my mind to lodge a complaint here so that other consumers should also know the real thing behind this company. They are fake, they just spend money on high advertisement but they do not provide good customer service to the customers who have bought there products.

                              Now if they come to visit me, I am not going to pay them for rectifying the issue. My phone number is [protected]

                              I just warn you to not buy kent products because after service is so damn pooor.

                                I am Deepak Soni, unfortunately a Customer of Kent Water Purifier, the Model I have is Kent Excell+ its Serial No.KR[protected], since the day 1 of its purchase in may 2012 this machine has given me only problems. Worse part is representatives of Kent does not resolve any issues, and they rarely come after a complaint is given, forget resolving the problem they don't even understand it and LOOT MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS without giving any bills.

                                Kent has Dream Girl as its brand ambassador to attract customers, however Kent has to make GOOD MACHINES and atleast NORMAL SERVICE for it to be used in REAL LIFE.

                                Since the Day of Kent's installation I should actually say the Kent representatives tried installing Kent at my home, it has given me nothing but trouble.

                                Now I want all money spent on this machine back, I do not want to go for another Kent. Machine is still not working. I hardly got any water from it and this only when Kent

                                representatives comes to try fixing the issue.

                                These all representatives came at my home, also took money on a couple of occasions for changing some part without any bills.

                                  I, "Mrs Agarwal" bought a Kent Super+ with Unit Sl No: "KR[protected]" on 3/10/2011 from Raza Pure Drop Water Solutions, Visakhapatnam.
                                  I am not at all satisfied with the service they are providing to your customers.Its just been 1 year and 2 months since we bought the kent and now it is not working.The service technician says to replace the sediment filter, carbon filter, and the membrane (RO/UF) which is now going to cost me Rs3200 .Moreover he says if it still not works the motor pump also needs to be changed which is going to be again a huge amount.There is no AMC for this product and no guarantee or warranty for the products that will be replaced. Moreover I tried contacting Kent main office several times by sending them emails and also through phone but my complaint is still unanswered. It means we will have to pay around Rs 3500 every year without any guarantee of the product that will be replaced. I have small kids at my place and its very difficult to manage anything without water.Please help

                                    I agree with Savit. RO has become very expensive for middle class family now a days. And company like Kent making money using this opportunity. I suggest
                                    1. govt should declare the prices of the spares required for water purifier systm.
                                    2. Spares should be readily available in the market.
                                    3. sealing method of filter cartridge to be immediately stopped.
                                    4. minimum tools for opening and closing filters should be provided with the set.

                                    From yesterday our RO is producing beep during filtration of water and it is taking a lot of time in fetching the water.

                                      I have Annual maintenance contract with A.V. Enterprises, samastipur, for the year 2012-13 for repair and maintenance of KENT WATER PURIFIER, which is the authorized one from the company to provide the services in the local area. when the system stops working , technician came to attend and they removed my iron filter and carbon filter and went away that when company supply the same , it will be installed. Later on they said that the iron filter is not covered under the AMC . When i become ready to pay the extra sum to fit the required iron filter , they said when company supply the same , it will be fitted. Having paid the AMC amount of Rs. 4,000=00, i have to buy Bottled mineral water from the market for the use of myself and my family. I entered into the AMC with the service provider thinking the backing of prestigious brand of KENT behind the authorized service provider. Now in view of the gross deficient service i feel cheated by the famous brand like KENT in the name of service .
