Hi,

I ordered for a Kent RO PEarl purifier through one of the kent dealers listed in http://www.justdial.com/Mumbai/euro-aqua-care-system-%3Cnear%3E-andheri-west/022... for Rs 13500 for Kent RO Pearl model on 27/11/2011 receipt no 2834. He promised to deliver the machine by Wednesday 30 Nov 2011. Now he is neither picking up my phone nor called me back for delivery details.

    I had registered a complaint on Grand m/c on 14.11.11. Representative of M/S Axis Consumer Services Pvt Ltd, 519B, Rabindra Sarani, Kolkata (they are authorised agent of Kent RO Systems Pvt Ltd) visited on 14th and 16th and declared that the pump needs replacement. As on today the 26th morning, the same has not been done.

    I had mailed twice to Kent customer grievance but simply a forwarding message asking Sri Bagchi, ASM, Kent, Kolkata to take action have been received. I had spoken to Mr. Bagchi on 16/11, 19/11, 24/11 and 25/11 but with no real result.

    I had also registered a sms complaint to [protected] on 24/11 to M/S Axis Consumer Services Pvt Ltd but no response. I’ve an AMC with M/S Exim up to 31/3/12. In this condition, I’m disgusted with the performance of M/S Axis and reluctance of Kent RO Systems Pvt Ltd and certainly not going to recommend any body for any purchase of any product of Kent. I’m regularly purchasing mineral water for last 11 days and those who have taken the AMC is least bothered, I’ve no other option than to take legal course.

      very bad service since the time i have purchased kent there is a problem every month, after giving complains nobody turns up before 15 to20 days, i have changed the parts and have paid them so many times but again after 10 days there is a problem i have changed my ro also but still the problem is not solved spoke to the owner Mr Piyush Bafna but no use nobody turns up they are least bothered.

      Global distributors offer very bad service. Inspite of getting AMC, I've called them multiple times to get my work done. I hope I get a better option to get Kent RO AMC

        I brought kent water purifier on 11 of September and the device installed had some issue which was fixed after 20 day and then it worked only for a week and again broke down, The cost was around 15 thousand and its apiece of junk. The customer support is pathetic. I would tell advise every one not to buy this any product of kent.
        we are facing the same problem I have uploaded a video on you tube for the same you can comment on it we together can make pressure on the company to replace our defective products.

          I have a Kent Grand + KR[protected] purchased vide Inv No.441 dt 25/04/10 from Safe India Technologies, Chennai Ph.[protected].
          I had spoken to Sh.Anupam Mishra (DGM Service,Kent, Ph[protected] on 14/09/11 regarding inability by their service engineer to reset the Filter Change Alarm in spite of the filters being changed. DGM had deputed one Mr.Ganesh, Regnl Manager(Service, Ph[protected] from Chennai to rectify it. Mr.Ganesh was also unsuccessful in trying to reset the alarm and the Choke became defective in that process (the alarm reset switch is embedded in the Choke module). SINCE THE CHOKE BECAME DEFECTIVE, the machine did not work further.
          Mr.Ganesh'd brought a supposedly "NEW" choke with marking as "Tested OK" as replacement and ironically this new Choke didn't work..!! He left saying that he'd arrange a new choke the next day, and when i informed him that the old one had stopped functioning only while he tried to reset it, he promised me that i need not pay any money for the replacement choke. But the distributor who came to replace the Choke in couple of days collected Rs.800/= along with service charge of Rs.350/= saying Mr.Ganesh only asked him to collect the amt for the choke..I paid the amt though i was astounded by the double-talk from a responsible officer from Kent (Mr.Ganesh). I was also shocked when Mr.Anupam Mishra said that i was lying when i said that i'd paid for the Choke. Seems Mr.Ganesh's the one who'd lied to his DGM, and the DGM in turn without verifying the facts, had insulted me by calling me a LIAR..!! (I have the receipt for the amount..!!)
          The choke was replaced on 20-09-11, but the machine shut down on 14-10-11. The distributor who'd attended said that the SMPS was faulty this time and he replaced it with a supposedly "NEW" SMPS, which any layman could say was an used one (it was brought without any packing, there were lot of scratches on the outer cover and the marking label was worn out with faded manual inscriptions of the serial number). I paid Rs.900/= for this "NEW" SMPS, and on my insistence the service engineer noted down the serial number as available in the SMPS, in my receipt . When i called the Chennai Kent office to report this matter on 18-10-11 @[protected], i was attended to by one Mr.Kalidass. He identified himself as a service engineer, and that the Chennai office wasn't a Customer Service Centre, and also rubbished my suspicions of old parts being installed as new. I was appalled by his callous and rude behaviour to me, with someone prompting near him (seems it was Mr.Ganesh when i asked Mr.Kalidass about it) finally ending the conversation saying that they both were responsible for the Chennai office and i could take the matter to wherever i wanted to.Mr.Kalidass at Chennai took down my contact number saying that he would call me back immediately with the facts, but he never called..
          After i e-mailed my complaint to Kent, Mr.Anupam Mishra called me from ph[protected] on[protected] and had a lengthy conversation with me finally asking me to surrender the SMPS that they'd supplied as NEW, assuring me that they would replace it with a brand new SMPS which will be delivered to me in factory packing condition. But he never committed to refund me the amount i paid for the Choke which was broken by Kent Service Engineer.
          Also i would like to highlight that Mr.Anupam Mishra conceded that there was a flaw in the basic design of the machine by integrating the compulsory-filter-change-alarm into the Choke, and also that the newer models had the filter change alarm independent of the choke.
          I demand Kent to refund the amount i paid for the Choke which became defective due to the fault of their own Authorised Service Engineer. Also, i need Kent to replace the supposedly New SMPS with an actual new one.

          Many people forget to choose a customized plant for their raw water characteristics.

          Standard branded products do magical advertisement only for marketing and not concentrating in service, as the RO, UV, OZONE, UF, NANO concept needs huge maintenance if not configured for RAW water purification methods

          We people create this awareness and we have qualified engineers who FREELY service the Water purifiers any brand any model and suggest you how to maintain it in future.

            sir we have purchased kent grand +...from retailer in nainital...almost of rs 16000,retailer has given us that machine which is not working properly,,
            its stop every 5 min....and we have to stand just near it to fill the tank...it take almost 2hours to fill as it stop continuously after every 5 min....
            we have caled to retailer many time..he makes excuses every time...and try to run out of it to solve our problem...even i have called kent coustumer care to but there is no positive result...now who is going to solve our problem...... please feedback...phone no [protected]...

              Complaint No. 29353 registered with Axis Consumer Services (P) Ltd on 08.10.2011 for repairing Kent Water Purifier. We had and AMC with Kent. Till date the filter is not repaired
              Kent has a very lax attitude to its complaints. My complaint no. 31087 registered on 18/10/11 has not yet been corrected.
              Kent service providing wing should now understand their resposibility and adopt a professional attitude towards consumer complaints.
              Its highly irresponsible of Kent to delay the addressal of consumer complaint even after constant call & reminder in therir service helpline number.

                I am based out of Kolkata and had puchased a Kent Grand + water purifier about a year back . I have been immensely suffering since then on because of poor performance of the purifier - almost every fornight the water purifier stops , also the customer service is very poor.

                During purchase, we were told that the customer service would be provided by Axis Consumer Services pvt ltd (Kolkata) during the warranty period. We are very dissatisfied with the delay in service each time the purifier has broken down.

                Last month after the the purifier broke down last week, after complaint a to Axis, a new company NC Sales and Services turned up (also a provider of customer service for Kent) and provided the service. Now the purifier has broken down again this month. Surprisingly , now both these companies are not refusing to rectify our purifier despite it being in the warranty period. Each says the other company is responsible for "incorrect servicing"

                Please can you immediately look into my concern.

                  This is with reference to my Kent RO purchased in the month of Feb-11 which was faulted and complained off for service almost more than 7 times before the expiry of warranty term . The service personnel came many occasions and conveyed that the water quality in my area is not good that the the reason why i have been complaining it out for so long though at the time of purchase your representative are very familiar with this area and also catering the services to many of the houses located here therefore justifying with the quality of water seems to be foolish one as my house is not one of the house wherein water supply is too bad than others. Further, my Niebuhr and myself got purchased the KENT RO alomost in the same month but they never complaint it off though my one is got serviced at several occasions.

                  Additionally, in the last visit , i have been advised by the service representative that to pay additional of Rs. 1500/- for pre-filter bowl( hidden cost never got hinted about it when the product was being purchased) with an assurance that the there will be no complaint and unfortunately that additional cost was also made me fool again and today i am standing at the time point where i was before.

                  Could i asked few things ??

                  1) Did my decision to purchase KENT RO was correct ?
                  2) Did i made any crime for which i was punished so badly dat my most of the time is wasted in thinking out to have follow-up with RO service center.
                  3) Did my family members was supposed to pay for it ?
                  4) Did i go for any other optionssss ????.
                  5) Did the KENT RO service center is so important that we shoudl start keeping it like emergency numbers 100/101 ???
                  6) Did i and my family members are supposed to drink water (other than the RO water) despite paying heavly amount for it ???
                  7) Did KENT RO would take the responsibility care and health issue during the tenure when we could not drink RO water due to its regular deafult /defects and we had to recourse to water normally been supplied ??
                  8) Did i am wrong in thinking that the product been sold to me is defective one ???
                  9) Tell me what should i do and what you would have done if you would have been at my place ????

                      i have been calling KENT company since almost a year now to change my filter and get it serviced because the water is now contaminated and hazardous to my family health recently. i have been given 30 different complaint numbers, several promises that some service guy will come , but no one has turned up nor called. i went to CROMA store also since i bought it from them, and complained there twice but no response. it so frustrating to see the way KENT advertise in different media abt the quality and when i m facing such a pathetic after sales service.

                      i know is is chargable, i know i have to pay for service and to change the filter, eventhough, there is no response. in my last call two weeks back i told them and warned them of consumer court , again one more complaint number issued and promise given to be done in next two days .

                      i m tired today and more frustrated because my wife and kid are infected due to this contaminated water, as my doctor said, we started buying mineral water and consuming it. please act on this asap.

                        I replaced the RO membrane of my Kent water purifier in July 2011. Kent service people told me that this membrane's life span is from 1 yr to 1-1/2 yr. Now after 4 months they are again telling that the RO membrane is damaged. I refused to pay (cost Rs 1900) & the service person left without changing the same(on 10th Sep). I called his manager (Mr. Kalidas), and explain the issue. He told me that he'll come & inspect personally. But despite of making him several calls for 3 days, he didn't come & every time made some useless excuse. The TDS level of the water is now 125, where as ideally it should be around 60. So I don't know for how long my family is consuming unhealthy water. Please take necessary action.

                          I have a Kent UV Water Purifier (unit Sl. No-KR[protected]. My water Purifier was covered under AMC from 19/07/2010 to 29/07/2011. During the AMC, I had repatedly called up & requested to change the filter candle, but it never happened during the whole AMC of one year, since filter was not available. Now that the AMC has expired, they will cite this as a reason for not changing it. Do I expect this service from KENT during AMC? Please suggest a solution to this problem, at the earliest, else I will have to approach the Consumer Forum.

                          Dear Mr.Shekhar

                          This is with reference to telecon with you and sebsquently with Mr.Pritish Kulkarni regarding Kent Maxx water purifier purchase from The Appliances Shoppe, Lower Ground Floor, Nashik City Center, Untwadi, Nashik.

                          I am facing a problem form the day one i purchase the product.I am not satisfied from the performance of product and services you deliver.Monthly i have to call your service provider to rectify the blockage of system. For your information i had already installed pre filter for smooth operation of system.

                          From last 3 days i observed overflow of water in the system after plug off.

                          The service provider visited our place and denied to service further as they are not your authorized partner to deliver the service for KENT from this year 2012.

                          Kindly let us know that is my mistake, i purchased KENT product.

                          Do the needful ASAP as i have a small baby who is drinking water from the same.

                            Hello,
                            It is an effort to make all those people aware of the truth in respect of Kent RO Grand+ (Supposedly Best in KENT) water purifier. I had purchased the product after thorough examination of our water quality by the agent and the assurance thereon that this RO will take care of all impurities and provide us safe drinking water. To start with immediately after purchase of product the TAP broke and was repaired after many days and after charging a good amount. The free service promised after every quarter is done only on repeated calls and that too out of four(04) only three could be achieved. During each service also some or the other things were either made or reported as bad and replaced after paying heavily again and again. This machine malfunctioning for some time now again, beeping,no power,choking,water leaking. On all visits just after completion of a year, they are charging for servicing, visiting charges,repair costs and mostly all things still working in temporary serviceable condition. This is worst example of electronic item I have purchased in my life .Kent RO is almost double in price compared to local ones. I DO NOT EVER INTEND OR SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO BUY THEIR PRODUCTS. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND MOST IMPORTANT HEALTH. As brought out above by the dealer about purity of water, it was nowhere to be seen because the quality check showed that the water we were actually drinking had a impurity number almost as high as 390-400.
                            Also I forgot to add that now my RO is unserviceable again, and for making it serviceable almost all the parts have to be changed on payment basis only and nothing is covered under the warranty. SO A HUGE AMOUNT AND HUGE LOSS> so decided to say goodbye to the KENT and started purchasing bottled water only.

                              Had launched a request for servicing of water purifier on 31/08/2011, which request no. given was 288, but since then no one has visited the place yet, in spite of calling at least 10 times, whenever i call in the evening they say that someone will visit next morning or if i call in morning the response is that someone will come that evening. i am forced to drink pakaged bottled water as the filteration is not happening at all.

                                1. I have a Kent RO Water Purifier, which is under Annual maintainence Contract with Kent.

                                2. I had lodged a complaint with the Kent Call centre vide complaint Number D11138387 on 29 Aug 11 for a torn membrane and requirement of a water pump in the RO because of which the RO is presently unserviceable.

                                3. But despite passage of more than 10 days, a written complaint on the grievance column of the company site and many calls to seek timely assistance, all I got is a number of excuses.

                                4. You are requested to direct the company to honour its commitment of repairing the RO water purifier within 48 Hours of the complaint. They may also be asked to compensate me for the mineral water bought in the last ten days and for the mental harrassment suffered

                                  I PURCHASE A KENT WATER PURIFIER, FROM THE THE FIRST DAY IT IS NOT WORKING LIKE THE ITS ADVERTIESMENT SHOWN IN THE TV CHANELS. I COMPPLAINT TO COMPANY BUT NO RESPONE.
                                  SO I REQUES TO THE PEOPLE WHO THINK TO BUY KENT PRODUCT DONT BUY KENT PRODUCT BECAUSE THERE IS NO AFTER SALES SERVICE OF COMPANY. IF YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY ONLY THEN BUY KENT PRODUCTS.

                                    I am having Kent UV water purifier for last four years. Every year I am facing problem for the AMC and for the services ,of the same. Every year I get to know the service-dealer is changed . The new dealer asks for HEFTY AMOUNT for AMC . Secondly; they insist on going for On call basis service When contacted to your Regional service manger ( Mr Jaiprakash ) on his phone [protected] ; he also states that our company has not fixed any AMC charges ( even as per models). He also talks HANDS & GLOVES with the distributor/ service dealer. Please let me know what is the comprehensive charges . Is Kent management going to take serious note on this issue because last year also I had communicated thru email & telephonically with the Kent -HO.

                                    I got the AMC done for my kent ro system on 29.01.2013 (recpt.no.54187).Now on 8.7.2013 the servicing was done.I was charged Rs.3215.00(recpt no.83770). From 22.7.2013 the filter is beeping, for which I lodged a complaint no.725836 on 22.7.2013 with customer care.Nobody has called me or attended to the complaint for last 48 hours.Please look into this complaint immediately as it is very difficult to manage without a water filter.My phone number is [protected]

                                      Called Kent RO Service as the KEnt RO has stopped working. They say they can service only after two days because of the holidays. If the motto is Purest, healthiest,tastiest water, "Always" is missing from their logo and tantrum of sales pitch?

                                      Further, no response when you call them at their listed toll free number, and no number listed on their website for their Bangalore office. Do you care for your customers to make it easier for them to reach you? And make sure your "Purest" water is available when customer needs it?

                                        Dear Sir,

                                        We bought Kent RO water system a couple of years back in Delhi. Now we have shifted to Hyderabad and staying in Madhapur. We are facing lot of problems with the Kent RO machine. it is giving us one or the other problem. Whenever, we complaint them, a person will come and rectify it and again within 15 days the problem is persisting. The spare parts which they use, is of inferior quality and the technicians come to rectify are also semi-skilled, i believe. Just within a short span of time, we ought to spend nearly rs.1000/- for repairs and maintenance which is not at all acceptable. Please look into the matter and solve the problem once and for all.
