Kent elite 2 machine was purchased in the month of January from Qasmi Engineer dealer of Kent Water Purifiers. Within 2 months we started facing problem with the machine. Every time we log a complaint and we have to wait for more than 15 to 20 days for KENT's engineer to come and solve the problem. Our's is a production company with total strength of 250 employees. When the problem arises we have to order atleast 30 bottles of water per day which cost us Rs.35/- per bottle of 25 ltr bisleri water.
There is no seriousness in solving the issues logged by compalint. Request you to pls look into this matter.

    I had bought a new Kent RO Model No -Super Plus from one of the CSD Canteens in Secunderabad. On purchasing thee sales representative told me to call up on [protected] to get thee water purifier installed thee first time by a Kent representative. I tried thee number many times however no one picked up thee phone. Finally on 13 August 2012 a lady recived thee phone and told theat a person would come thee next day by 1200h for thee installation. The next day no one came and on inquiring i was told theat he would come on 17the. However still no one turned up till late in thee evening. Again i called up on thee above mentioned number and was told theat by 1200h next day thee installation will be done. However thee next day i.e on 18the Aug 2012 no one turned up. on calling up again i was told theat thee indl would now come by 1500h, still no one came by 1500h. Finally a person called Mr K Nagaraju from Spacenet DTH Services, AS Rao Nagar came at 1800h. I am sorry to say but he was so unprofessional theat he could only drill two holes in my kitchen wall in one hour and theat too not properly. I looked as theough he was handling a Drill Machine for thee first time. After hanging thee water purifier he didn't know how to install thee pipe connections and asked for a plumber to come and do it. When i said theere is no plumber available he asked for my phone to call up someone on [protected] as he didn't have balance in his phone and theen called up anotheer number [protected] and spoke in Telugu which i didn't understand. After theat he left saying he would return thee next day. However till date neitheer has he turned up nor has anyone else followed up on theis issue. I tried calling up theat lady whom i first contacted but she didn't pick up my phone, finally i called her up from some otheer no, she picked up and gave me thee number of some Mr Pawan ([protected]) of golden liquids solutions who had sent Mr Nagaraju. I bought a Kent RO only because i trusted your brand and many people recommended Kent over Eureka Forbes. But after thee initial experience now i feel i should have not patronized in your brand, Kindly give me a workable solution as thee water purifier is lying useless in my house. And also give me one reason as to why i should trust your company and not lodge a complaint in thee consumer court.

      Dear Sir / Madam

      My name is Mr. Abhishek Kapur and I am one of your customers in Noida. I am afraid to inform you that this is the first product / serivce in my life which has frustrated me and my family to such an extent.

      Since we have bought it almost 2 years back it is giving troubles and have been spending a lot of money on the filters and the membranes.

      The latest case is when on 13.05.12 we changed both the membrane and filter. It got damaged and then replaced on 04.07.12 (within 1.5 months itself). Today again on 25.08.12 it has got damaged i.e with 1.5 months again. Again we have to spend around 3000/-. This is not all acceptable. Your product does not even run for 3 months. I spoke to Mr. Arun in your service center and the response was simply that it is because of the bad quality of the water and hence we have to live with this everytime.

      This shows that your product has been designed in such a way so that every now and then we have to spend this money. This is shear harrasment on behalf of your company. I am hereby changing my RO to a different company and would not recommend Kent to anyone.

      It was a really a very painful experience with Kent...

      If this mail is being read by someone responsible in your company would thereby appeal to him, please stop cheating your customers like this.

      KENT / GRAND+ — The kent ro is not working and we have also tell that are ro is not working and they are ignore the complaints.

      THE KENT Person that is coming to repair the ro it is just seeing it and not even reparing it's single part of it. Because of the ro is in warrenty.And not cleaning the ro.Please take of the complaint.

      Kent Pearl from Kent — Machine failed for the 4th time

      I purchased Kent Pearl Water purifier on 6/4/2011, the sl. no of the machine is KR[protected] and the invoice no. is 2849. Since then the machine has failed to work 4 times and last 3 times they have repaired and it has worked only for a month and again the problem comes up. Last time, during September, i insisted to replace the machine but the local dealer convinced and again repaired and went away. Now again the problem has occured and the machine is not working.

      Their response to customer call is pathetic, on 24th & 28th i have registered a complaint online and till date no response from their end. This seems ridiculous, one hand they supply a defective machine on the other hand they don't respond to customer service calls.

      Please help me to get rid of this defective machine, i don't have any confidence on the repairs they do on the machine, i have spent Rs 15500 on this machine and i am not able to use the same peacefully for atleast 2 months since i purchased.

      To Kent Water Purifiers,

      I am writing this mail in vain and want to report the pathetic service that i have been experiencing since the time i bought my KENT PEARL WATER PURIFIER model.

      Date of Purchase: 12th October 2011

      I have been facing a problem with my device since about 6 months now. The water outlet would always flush out too much of water and I would have to change the bucket under it time and again. Well, initially i thought maybe it was just a part of the process, since i had no doubt about the company image of Kent. But gradually my doubts turned into nightmares as the amount of water being flushed out kept increasing by the day.
      Anyways, I started calling the dealer who sold me the device, since the warranty card said that any defects whatsoever (unless by mishandling), and most of the time the person did not even understand what i was speaking. I was horrified at the kind of response i was getting. Anyways, on August 18th I decided to go to the outlet myself to get my problem addressed. They said my problem will be solved soon since it was a problem with the membrane only and it can be replaced. I waited for 10 days calling them up each day but they just kept delaying it. On 2nd September i decided to visit the outlet again where to my horror i was told that i would have to pay for the membrane as it is not covered in the warranty. I went through the warranty card again and saw that it very clearly says that any defects whatsoever within the warranty period would be covered free of cost unless it is due to mishandling. Anyways now i have understood that my device wasnt functioning since May but i realized by August. The customer service people are doing nothing but delaying the response in order for the warranty period to get over.

      They give me useless excuses at times like " Sir your device's membrane is being sent from our main store from another city" or "Sir, You will have to pay for it".

      Now, I am sick and tired of this non-sense. I have realize not only that it is not the amount of money i wasted on numerous phone calls and fuel i burnt to go to them time and again to complain. It is also not worth my energy to argue with the customer care people as not only do i feel they lack common sense but they are extremely rude. I am now trying one last time to get my problem resolved before i have to file a case against Kent in the consumer court and let the law decide the further course of action. So, If any of the Kent Customer Service Heads do get to read this please let me know if my matter can be resolved without me having to approach the court.

      Please tell what leagal action u opted to sort out your problem as i m also having the similar problem. On april 22 2013 wwe purchased a kent grand RO. from Sai electricals, mansarovar jaipur.At the time of installation the vendor took away the installation card with him.within 1 months it started leaking water.on 23 may a vendor from green aura(in mansarovar, jaipur)visited a did something with machine.afterwards the machine stopped intaking water. after so any calls green aura refused to take care of the machine.
      Then seller send some vendor who told that UV blast and pump had some Problem.
      we send mails to [protected]@kent.co.in.
      then a vendor from vansh electronics changed the UV blast.but they refused to change the motor as the installation card was being taken away with the 1st vendor.
      i have mailed the company to replace the defective machine which they sold to us with a new one .but no one is taking care of our problem.

        Sir,
        I purchase one Kent super R O water purification from Oms Enterprises- Laksar road, Kankhal, Haridwar-UK. against Bill no. 964 dt. 28.03.12. But after one month that purifier remain sick, so many time we complained to the dealer and he also send the mechanic every time but these mechanic are not fully trained.Because they are not able rectify the defect. When we, ask him to change the product, he is not agree to do that.

          Kent RO systems service request done on Friday 17 Aug 2012 and the call is still pending.
          Kent Kolkata team and their authorized dealer Airan International harassing unnecessarily for money and not servicing the RO.
          Details of the persons Dharampal Nagnia [protected] from Airan International and Sanjay Bagchi[protected] from Kent Kolkata.
          They are threatening me and are not sending their technician regarding the service of Kent Super + RO Invoice date 16 April 2012 Invoice Number AI/KAL/020/12-13 Date of Installation 18 April 2012.

                Charging twice for the same part of the product to be replaced within 10 days..
                We purchased Kent RO on 24/8/08. Recently the water tap got damaged. We lodged the complaint on 20/7/09 vide no. 8828 with Bangur Agent[protected].
                Despite the repeated request nobody has turned up to repair the machine. We tried to contact Mr Sengupta ([protected]) supposedly some senior official. Unfortunately he did not respond to the call.
                I feel the class of service is disgusting and frustrating.

                In addition, it may also be mentioned that the company has very poor track record of service.
                They never came for routine service nor changed carbon candle (supposed to be changed in six months of purchase)

                You need to take urgent steps to attend to the calls of customers.

                  I had lodged a complaint for repairing my Kent water purifier in last week of July 2012 for impure water, Compalint no A2066 on [protected], Noone has yet come to service it.When I dail your dealer Aqua World from where I brought the machine they told that the complaint is closed.I asked them to take action against this criminal negligence they behaved rudely with me and told to talk to their manager on [protected].No body picked up the call on this number after i repeatedly called.My guarantee is going to expire in a week

                  Can somebody take an action on this criminal negligence.

                  kent grand + — Repeated Repairs

                  I had been using the Kent Grand + for the past year and half. Till now I had spent more than Rs.7000 other than Rs.14500 for the accessories and repairs and it has been a nightmarish experience using this product. Every time a service personnel comes in and changes a part it results in another problem. I feel they are not adequately trained on the product and they supply refurbished parts rather than original parts. It has been a disgusting experience with this Kent product. I feel like not recommending this product to anyone in future to avoid similar experience

                    The Ro Filter in my machine has been changed on 31.1.2012..
                    since the machine not working I have asked the authorised dealer from whom I have purchased('Jai Vignesh Electronics, New No.117 Periyar Pathai, Choolaimedu Chennai 600094) to inspect it. Mr. Palani the mechanic who came on 14.8.2012 and inspected , said The RO has to
                    be changed and the cost of new one is Rs.2250/. When I told that the existing RO was changed by him only on 31st Jan 2012, he said its warranty only for 3months.Hence I have to purchase a new one.
                    I want to know whether the warranty is only for 3 months . What I have to do? Whether i have to purchase a new one?

                    The Life of Ro Membrane Depends Upon the Input water conditions ( Like turbidity, Bacterial contamination, beside Salinity, Hardness and slica ), and the performance of the membrane ( capacity to produce low salinity water ) decease due to the scale formation of dissolved solids and clay particles . Tap water membrane which is used in domestic water filters are tested with a salinity (TDS) of 750 PPM using Nacl solution at turbidity less than 1 NTU to give about 8000 ltrs during its life time. There is a possibility of chocking of membranes during rainy seasons and when every the home sumps or over head tanks are cleaned, which leave very high concentration of clay (Mud) which ultimately clogs the prefilters and the membranes.

                    Keeping of good observation of the unit and maintaining a log and use of Company genuine parts . Use of proper type of prefiltration shall definitely help .

                    The amount of cost involved in maintaining a RO unit shall be about Rs 0.60 / liter where in U[censored]V and Ro process are engaged which is still worth .

                      I have logged a complain thru' your web site on the poor quality of service + product of KENT System. Seems the complain has been closed w/o any corrective action. My product is still in malfunction stage. Appreciate your intervention and support to have my concern addressed. I am sharing the details once again.

                      "I had purchased Kent Grand+ , sl no KR[protected] on dated 22/03/10.

                      While buying I had great thrust on product, its quality and services. It is really heartening that with 3 months my trust got shattered. It failed on 24th June Evening. Which has raised finger on quality of product.

                      Later based on call from KENT, I had signed the AMC contract for period 16th Aug’11 to 16th Aug’12 and paid Rs.2100/-. In Nov’11, I paid once again Rs.2755 for Filter & Membrane. Now not even 6 months has gone Filter & Membrane has failed again. As per KENT I need to pay 3200/- to rectify the problem. I am struggling and sening communication to KENT management since May'12. Yet to see any quality response from them. Rather their Customer care Manager responding to customer with BOLD and RED color fonts.

                      My only question to you and all the reader of this site .... to maintain a product Value 12K, does a customer require to pay 8K for 2nd year?

                      We want to inform you that 1 year warranty on membrane is only on newly purchase products.. But after expiry of One year warranty ( i.e. after 1 year of purchase) membrane replaced will carry only 3 months of warranty.

                        I have purchased a KENT RO WATER PURIFIER ON 27 JULY 2011 FROM LOTUS SHOWROOM IN INDORE

                        DURING ONE YEAR I HAVE FACED 6 TIMES PROBLEM IN IT AND A FAKE KENT RO DEALER-JAYESH SHARMA HAD BEEN COMING AT MY PLACE TO REPAIR IT

                        FURTHER WITHIN THE WARRANTY PERIOD HE NEVER MENTIONED OF CHANGING THE FILTERS AND MEMBRANE TO REPLACE FROM THE COMPANY AS THEY WERE NOT WORKING.INSTEAD HE ALWAYS CAME UP AND TEMPORARY CORRECTED THE KENT RO

                        BUT AS SOON AS 27 JULY 2012 EXPIRED(I.E ONE YEAR OF WARRANTY PERIOD) HE INFORMED THAT BOTH THE FILTERS AND MEMBRANE ARE NOT WORKING AND SO U HAVE TO CHANGE IT AND MAKE THE PAYMENT AS NOW UR WARRANTY PERIOD HAS BEEN EXPIRED

                        THIS HAS BEEN SUMTHING REALLY UNETHICAL ON THE PART OF MR JAYESH SHARMA AND SUCH KIND OF PERSONS ARE SPOILING THE REPUTATION OF GOOD COMPANIES.

                          i purchased a Kent RO machine for water purification purpose from the Unit run Canteen run by the ministry of defense at Manesar, District-Gurgaon Haryana on 01 Aug 2012. I made call to the customers and in turn he assured me to install the machine by today. I forwarded all relevant details to him through sms twice on 01 August itself. Even after those all formalities no one has reported for the job at my residence beside their assurance. Today i also tried to contact the above mentioned person on the mob no. given to me for the said job but found his mobile number NOT IN USE. Please response immediately on the complaint and do needful at the earliest as possible...

                            Hi,

                            My name is RKRavi, I bought kent perl ro by submitting the request online and kent representative(name -Shahnawaz, phone-[protected]) installed the ro system on 24th july 2012 and without checking the system they collected the money and left my house by saying when tank become full throw the water and after that u can use the water for drinking. After some time when water tank became full the machine did not stopped the supply of water and water came out from the top then i talked with all the representative but no one has taken this seriously and finally they are not picking the phone. now what i want either my machine to be replaced with newer one or they return my money back immediately as faulty machine cannot be installed in the price of 16200/-

                              I had purchased Kent Grand+ , sl no KR[protected] on dated 22/03/10.

                              While buying I had great thrust on product, its quality and services. It is really disheartening that within 3 months my trust got shattered. It failed on 24th June Evening. Which has raised finger on quality of product. For entire year no one came to service the product in proactive manner which was committed as the time of sale.

                              Later based on Kent call center communication, I had signed the AMC contract for period 16th Aug’11 to 16th Aug’12 and paid Rs.2100/-. In Nov’11, I paid once again Rs.2755 for Filter & Membrane. Now not even 5 months has gone and we started getting problem. Once again their engineer advised to replace Filter & Membrane which will be chargeable and the cost would be approx Rs.3200/-.

                              This indicates the poor quality of part changed during last event in Nov’11. I tried talking to their service manager as if a customer will pay Rs.8000 - Rs.9000/- in one year for keeping product working, why he will not go for new set..

                              I have made many folloups. Yet to see any positive response from Kent. I strongly advise my all colleague not to buy this product. I have not seen such a pathetic service from any consumer product segment. Surprisingly their service managers alos responding to customer with Red and bold color fonts. On can easily imagine the unprofesional service team working for Kent.
                              HEY, I am also a sufferer of KENT poor quality / services . why cant't we pool in (form a club) and bad mouth the compnay. even if we are bale to affect 100 odd units sales, it will be a achievement. My mobile no. is [protected]

                                This is to inform you that i purchased one KENT Grand+ water purifier vide invoice No. 2803 ; dated 30.06.12 issued by UNIQUE WATER PURIFIER PVT. LTD., 19, South Purbanchal Road, Kolkata-700078 and the same was installed by company staff at my home & our family keep on drinking the kent water. But that installation was totally wrong because from 30.06.12 onwards there was a problem that after filling the chamber of filter water storage there was continue drainage of water through drainage pipe that’s why one day my residential water tank got emptied. then i noticed that fault and on phone i lodged a complaint to the service centre o[censored]NIQUE WATER PURIFIER PVT. LTD. on 12.07.12 that there was continue drainage through drainage pipe of KENT Grand+ water purifier from 30.06.12 onwards & leakage in Machine and service centre acknowledge vide complain No. 5432 and their staff attended the machine fault on 12.07.12 and made it correct. While asking why this fault was coming? their staff kept silent till completion of their work then told verbally that pipes & valves were not connected properly that’s why drainage was continue and water was not being filtered & my family was drinking impure water of residential water tank. That means that was complete ignorance of this company UNIQUE WATER PURIFIER PVT. LTD., 19, South Purbanchal Road, Kolkata-700078. The same is reported to service centre o[censored]NIQUE WATER PURIFIER PVT. LTD, but no response is received.
                                Therefore, You are requested to pay your kind attention on this matter take necessary action against their wrong service that cause my family to drink impure water.

                                Dear Sir/ mam,

                                We have purchase one kent Grand+ (Serial No-KR[protected] this month from Big Bazar, wazirpur, delhi which was installed on 10 july from service provider c-15, sector 7, noida, ph no[protected]. But from the date of installation it was fitted wrong as it was hanged or fitted on loose screws. todays evening on 28th july it fell down on floor and got breaked. my family is drinking impure water of residential water tank. This was complete ignorance of this service provider who have not tighten our purifier correctly on wall due to which we are suffering alot. The same i reported to service centre guy- Mr.Pratap Singh- [protected] who came at the time of installation but he refused to help us in same case.
                                Therefore, You are requested to pay your kind attention on this matter take necessary action against their wrong installation service and please depute somebody to install correctly.Thanks & Regards

                                  • Kent Mineral RO was bought vide Invoice no. 7 SM 10000787 Book no. 7SM-0016 Dated.10/07/2010
                                  • It cost me Rs.14750 in exchange offer with an Inalsa RO
                                  • We got the AMC done for the Kent RO system on 6th July 2011 wide cheque no 405195 for Rs1800/-.
                                  • AMC was again renewed on 09/07/2012 vide cheque no 409880
                                  • On 14th April 2012, the carbon filter burst for which the complaint was lodged on 16th April 2012. The complaint was attended by the company on 18th April. The technician told us that along with carbon filter , membrane also needs to be changed .Following the advice of technician, the damaged carbon filter along with the membrane was changed by paying an additional cost of Rs2900/- vide cheque no 409826 dated 18th April 2012 amount.
                                  • Despite of paying AMC & additional cost which I am paying through my nose, the machine is still not being able to control the TDS. I have made several complaints but still the company has not paid any heed to my complaints. All the complaints, except the first, are unattended till date.
                                  • Since the day of complaint we are buying 20 litre bottle of TDS controlled water from Market @Rs80.00.

                                    We have a KENT-RO water purifier installed in our house. Around 4 months back, KENT developed a problem (it was not delivering water) and we called the technicians to fix it. He replaced couple of part and made a huge bill. within few days again problem started coming up. We again called but no one attended in the free look period (if technicians comes no service charge will be charged). Again we kept on complaining and technician came after sometime. He made some fix and again we were asked to pay a good amount. Now again we are seeing the problem developing once again and no one is attending the call.

                                    The so called Technicians have only very basic skills and they only know how to replace parts but still problem dosent gets resolved. I believe a time will come they will replace my whole system :-( .

                                    I am very embarrassed with KENT-RO poor quality of service. KENT is only interested in making money but not to provide services to customer. I would STRONGLY RECOMEND OTHER NOT TO BUY THIS PRODUCT.

                                      WE HAVE PURCHASED KENT EXCELL + ON 21/10/2011 AT RS.15500/- THROUGH BILL NO.9805, DT 21/10/2011, SERIAL NO.KR[protected], EUROLUX ENTERPRISES, SANGLI - PH.[protected], CELL :[protected]. THERE IS PROBLEM IN PURIFIER AND TOTALLY STOPPED WE TILL NOW COMPLAINTED ABOUT 50 -70 TIMES FROM 2 MONTHS AND STILL THE MACHINE IS IN WARRANTY PERIOD , AND THEY ARE NOT AT ALL RESPONDING REGARDING THE COMPLAINT . DUE TO THIS MACHINE PROBLEM OUR FAMILY MEMBERS STRTED HEALTH PROBLEM , I TOLD THEM RE HEALTH PROBLEM , BUT THEY ARE ONLY OPENED THE SHOP TO SUPPLY THE MACHINE ,NOTHING NO LIABILITY RE THE WORKING , PROBLEM , SERVICE , MAY ANYONE HAVE THE PROBLEM OF HEALTH.AFTER THIS PURCHASE OF MACHINE EXCELL + , WE SOLD OUR OLD EURAKA FORBES WATER PURIFIER WHICH WAS IN WORKING CONDITION . STILL AFTER 5 YEARS OF PURCHASE FROM EUREKA FORBES THEY GIVE THE BEST SERVICE.
                                      WE HAVE PURCHASED THIS MACHINE TO IMPROVE ALL THE HEATH , BUT I THINK WE HAVE TO BOOK A BED IN HOSPITAL.

                                      AFTER WE COMPLAINED YOU A MAN OF YOUR COMPANY CAME AND CHECKED THE MACHINE AND SAID THAT ONE OF THE PART OF THIS MACHINE HAS GONE BAD AND SAID TO PAY FOR THE PART WHUCH HAD STOPED WORKING .
                                      THEN WE SAID THAT THE PRODUCT IS IN WARRANTY WHY SHOULD WE PAY FOR THE PART , COMPANY MECHANIC SAID THAT YOUR PRODUCT'S WARRANTY WAS ONLY VALID FOR 6 MONTHS , BUT WHEN WE CHECKED IN THE WARRANTY CARD THE WARRANTY IS VALID FOR 1 YEAR (TILL 21/10/2012) .
                                      THE COMPANY MECHANIC ALSO SAYS TO CLEAN THE FILTER CANDLES BY OURSELF . IS IT OUR DUTY TO CLEAN THE MACHINE'S FILTER CANDLES ?
                                      HE IS NOT COMING YET . THE MACHINE IS NOT WORKING FROM THE LAST 4 MONTHS .
                                      IF HE CAN NOT GIVE US SERVICE THEN HE SHOULD RETURN THE MONEY OF THE PRODUCT AND TAKE HIS MACHINE BACK WITH HIM .

                                        This is in regards to my kent water purifier. Immediately, after completion of 1 year of warranty service, my water purifier started over-ftowing
                                        ( no automatic water cut-off & overflow from storage tank ). Till date, 7-8 times.the so-called authorized service personnel have attended, charged in thousands at each service for spares replacement cost + service charges, but till date the problem remains un-solved &
                                        the problem repeats within the next day ( overflow happens ).
                                        Once, the service agent, even advised us to tap I Hit the purifier often to ensure, the water cut-off works ! !
                                        we were also advised to close the purifier, every night, Which I dont believe many customers are advised & neither do they practise.

                                        However. we considering overflow problem, we immediately switch-off purifier, When overflow occurs & it remains switched off till water level falls & Purified water is required !

                                        Complaint has been Notified Many Times to Nodal Officer Level, but No Action has been Taken at that level also.
                                        Is this. the quality of parts & service Kent provides. where the customer is expected to repeatedly tap or switch-off the device ??
                                        It is disgusting, with past evidences & service records. that even after repeated complaints. parts changed & money charged. the complaint cannot be resolved !
                                        It is high time and this problem has severely tested our patience.
                                        NEED IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST THE ORGANIZATION FOR INFERIOR QUALITY PARTS & SERVICE.
