I had requested an authorized agent of kent ro whose name is ravi to re install my purifier. At the time of installation, electricity was not available. After installation i paid him as per his charge n demand. When electricity issue resolved, i started purifier and saw that there is a leakage at joint, about which i informed that agent too but till date he has not reached my home to fix the issue.

    Bought kent ro purifier from vasanth and co, pondicherry. At the time of purchase, we had regular follow ups and demos from kent technicians and marketing ppl, mr. Sirajuddin. After purchase, purifier stopped working in 10 days. Kent team added an additional carbon filter but even that didnt help. Reached out to them today, but no proper response. Pathetic service by kent and vasanth nd co. My parents have become sick after drinking impurified water. I would like to escalate this and receive replacement for the product.

      filter change alarm of kent purifier doesn't alarm as per specification

      Kent stated in water purifier product page that filter change alarm alerts us for replacing the new filter. That is one of the main reason for opting kent water purifier. I was completely dependent on the alarm. At last without alarm, kent water purifier has stopped. Then i called technician for repair, the technician said all the filters and motor were damaged completely and have to be replaced with new items. This lost due to non-functioning...

      Kent ro machine is a program controlled machine which goes off after a set frequency with an alarm till you get it serviced by replacing some functional parts at aprohibitive price. Just 2 years of running cost is equal to original machine cost. This is mentioned in the machine brochure very smartly to protect themselves from any litigation.

      This is absolute cheating of customer.

      How can they be booked in mrtpc. Can any one guide?

        The annual maintenance cost is so high, with service maintenance contract it comes to about 50% of the cost of the r. O. Every year. The candles are priced so high that it has become prohibitive now. The candles are not available in the open market. The manufactures are taking consumer for a ride by not advising in advance the maintenance cost per year.

          Yesterday a technician named mr. Anand came for my ground floor kent ro. He said that filter has to be be replaced after every one year as its life is this much only. Today, the same technician came for my first floor kent ro and said that filter life is only six months. His motive is always insisting the customer for changing filters. Just see, within six months, company's part has to be changed. This is the product supplied by the company. So, its my humble request prefer any other ro rather than kent. Earlier products supplied by the company were durable. Ow the company after getting its name famous is going down. Even dealers of today suggest to purchase other ro system than kent.
          Really did a blunder in purchasing this latest model of kent ro

            One of kent ro employee/partner came to my home and charged us inr 3500 2months back in exchange for filter repair. The boy took money from my old mother and now the filter does not work. 2 months later when we tried contacting kent services again, we are told that it was a fake filter put by one of the individuals. Now when i have tried to address this to kent ro services they have not responded saying that it was not their employee. Request someone to please help out here in this case.

              Dear sir,

              This is in regards to the product (Kent grand plus mineral ro) which we bought on 12th aug 2018 through amazon.com, i want to share the horrible experience that i had with kent ro product and customer services. This machine has 1year warranty and 3 year service and ever since i bought it i had to ask for the technician visit 4 times. So 4 times in 5 mins i had to call the technician because the machine stops filtering the water very often although we took additional filter of 1500 rs on top of the product cost.in my recent experience wherein i raised the complaint (Case id[protected] on 12th dec 2018 for again machine stopped filtering water and would like to tell u that i am so sick and tired that i have to use this medium to share my complaint. The technician visited my place on 14th dec and said an spair part needs to be replaced and he doesn't have it currently hence he will come tomorrow and since then no technician visited us to change that spair part. I call customer care department everyday twice and get to hear it will be resolved in next 24 hrs and nothing happens. They transfer my call to supervisors after putting me on hold for 30 mins and when supervisor is not able to coordinate with area service manager they try and transfer my call to their managers and i get disconnected. So that's my journey with their customer care department on [protected]. There is no senior person who can look into customer grievances. Not sure whether i will get the response or not but will certainly register a complaint in consumer court.

                I had purchased a kent automatic water softener which was installed at my residence at b 222 b, florence marvel villa, sushant lok 3, sector 57, gurgaon. The date of installation was 10/8/2016. The person interacting with us was you. The warranty paper is with me.

                Within 2 years the system has gone bust. We were told by malik of kent ro ([protected]), the top lcd panel has got damaged due to rainwater and it needs to be replaced. He said the damage was caused due to its placement out in the open. Fact is we were told the system is waterproof and it could be placed outside. At the time of installation the system could easily have been covered if we were advised right.

                The kent service team gave us a very poor response. No one even came to service or enquire about the system post installation. Now we have been waiting for the part to be replaced by almost 2 months

                Please ensure, as per our phone conversation, to have the damaged part replaced as soon as possible.

                  The annual maintenance cost of our kent ro is extremely high. On top of the amc, we are paying about 5-6k for maintenance. This amounts to more than 50% of the cost of the r. O. Every year. The candles are not available in the market and we don't have any other option but to call their service department, where again the service is pathetic. This is clearly a marketing malpractice as we weren't informed of these annual and additional charges at the time of purchase. We need to get a proper resolution for this complaint and not just a simple note to contact your already pathetic customer service departmen

                    I have purchased "KENT PRIME PLUS MINERAL RO" S/N :KR[protected], Item code- 11065 from "KENT RO SYSTEM LIMITED" A-2, Sector-59, Noida, UP on 27/10/18 vide Invoice No. S[protected]. This RO is not proper functioning since it's installation. Three times, on complaint, your engineers have come to our residence but failed to do it rectify. They all said that it needs to be replaced but your co. has done nothing till today. I am compelled to purchase mineral water from market whereas I have spend huge money on RO. Please arrange to replace this malfunctioned RO machine otherwise I would have no other options except to approach to the Hon' bole Court of law.

                      Hi,

                      This has reference to case[protected].
                      This case is regarding change of filter, membrane, FRT for my water filter machine with following details

                      Make : KENT Grand+
                      Model# : 11001
                      M/C Sr. # : KR[protected]

                      The customer service team had informed following charges pertaining to change of filter
                      • R.O. membrane INR 2500
                      • R.O. membrane FRT INR 250
                      • Sediment filter INR 500
                      • Carbon filter INR 500
                      • Service charge INR 300
                      The installation was carried out by your service centre Aqua World, Jayanagar, Bangalore. 560011 as per invoice name.
                      However the service technician Mr. Rajendra, [protected] had come from Sanjay Nagar, Bangalore address.

                      The invoice# 18471 given to me (copy is attached) had following charges
                      • R.O. membrane INR 2750 MRP
                      • R.O. membrane FRT INR 250
                      • Sediment filter INR 500
                      • Carbon filter INR 500
                      • Service charge INR 300
                      My complaint.
                      • There is discrepancy of INR 250 in R.O. membrane cost given by customer service team on call and the invoice given by technician on R.O membrane part pricing. Kindly advise correct amount of the R.O. membrane filter. Who is correct, the customer service team or the technician ?
                      • I feel cheated by Kent network of customer service team and service technician as no proper pricing info. and validation is available. I demand refund of INR 250 if customer service team on call was correct. If technician was correct i recommend Kent taken action on improper information provided to the customer and demand refund the INR 250 as information provided to me was incorrect by the KENT customer service team.
                      • The technician was not only rude but he did not even bother to take OTP for case closure. This shows unprofessional service set up of KENT water purifiers.
                      • The prices for product online are INR 2100. How do we know the KENT service technicians are not buying online and selling to us. Pls. advise ?

                      I received call from Sukesh. They have promised action to update and train their customer service team to provide correct pricing information to customer. They have committed appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against rude behaviour of technician.

                      I however do feel there is no written official communication and commitment from KENT RO on the action they will be taking, hence this issue may continue to persist with other KENT customers..

                        I paid 5500 for amc to axis consumer, kolkata for annual maintenance of kent ro water filter. The machine was defunct for one month in march, and again for a month in october. Very recently they changed the ro, and charged me 2750 for it. I do not even know if they gave me new parts, because in less than a month the machine has stoppped working. When we call the local company here, they do not receive calls. With the amount of money i have spent on servicing this machine, i could have bought a new filter. When we call consumer no they ask us to contact local company with whom we have amc, and this is the service we get here, old parts that do not last a month.

                          I have registered complaint more than 12 times in last month or so, still machine is not working after every day or 2 days some new faults occurred. Technician and even senior technician are not able to resolve issues at one time. They have changed almost all parts of machine and taken 1500 for amc, other amount for parts too but hilarious service provided by kent.

                            We have purchased this product 18 months back with a warranty period of 1 year. From past 3 months, we have spent almost rs. 6000 /- i. E., half of the product value itself.

                            For every visit from service agent, we have to pay rs. 300 /- even if the service requirement comes within a month from the previous service.

                            This product compared my previous product from other company is complex in make and service both. Company need to look in to it seriously and design the product which is having durability at least for 2 - 3 years with minimum maintenance cost to customers

                              I, Pawan Kumar Singh purchased KENT GRAND with serial no. KR[protected].

                              It was installed on 4th Mar2018, I gave the request for reinstallation due to room shifting on 24th Aug2018 but at this time guy had not installed my machine properly and it falls from the wall due to bad installation.

                              My product is damaged due to your bad service.

                              Today they came and charging me for the damage, Please help me in this regards

                                My name is vivek where i had subscribed for a service which was done with hopping amount of 3650 rupees saying it is fixed but the purifier didn’t even work for a week since then i have been contacting service centre every time they be saying same thing that technician will be visiting for service but none of them haven’t showed up it’s been two weeks and more than 10 times i have called and still same response, if this is something called a service i call it # service and unprofessional customer support.

                                  I had picked up a kent supreme model — which is feel is a white elephant and please dont buy this product and in case you have already fallen in trap please dont this product serviced by 5 star aqua water purifiers (I have been associated with this agency for close to 6 years)

                                  Let me share my experience with them on 3rd dec 2018
                                  I had reported a complaint about beep sound on (03/12/18) and the technician attended the complaint the same day in (03/12/18)
                                  The movement the technician came in he checked the tds of the water and told that the output tds is around 600 ppm as against the norm of 50-60 ppm and immediately told me the filters must be replaced
                                  When i told him that the filters were replaced just around 6 months i. E. On 27th may 2018 to that he told me that he will reset the system so that the beep sound issue can be fixed
                                  When i asked him can you check the tds now after reset and hope it’s good for me to use the machine now - to that he checked the tds and told me that it’s not within norm (It was around 200 ppm) and checked with me on how is the taste of the water - i told him that there is slight change in taste then he decided that he has to replace all the filters with my consent costing around inr 4050
                                  In the mean time i had a conversation with his superior the owner mr madhukar reddy and told him that existing filter which was replaced say 6 months back needs replacement now to that mr madhukar reddy asked the technician to check tds of the input water he checked and told me that the ppm is around 1000 and the life of the filter depends on the input and if the ppm is btw 900 -1000 then the life of the filter gets reduced to 6 months that is the primary reason for the beep sound indicating replacement of the filter
                                  When i saw the input, tds is showing a reading of 1000 i had my doubt on the intent of the technician i. E he is fooling me - i had a tds measuring device at my place i checked the input ppm the reading was around 460-470, i showed this to the technician - that is when told me that the device he had is faulty and he will go back to his office and get it replaced
                                  To summarize the issue
                                  • the technicians don’t carry proper tools to attend calls i. E he comes with a faulty tds measuring device
                                  • he misguides the customer based on wrong reading shown on his machine that the filters need replacement which is close to 25-30% of the actual cost of the new tds machine i. E inr 4050 vs inr 15000
                                  • no ownership on the service done - they are happy collecting servicing charges + abnormal charges for spares (Which actually needs ne replacement)
                                  • want kent to intervene and resolve this issue and help me with the refund of the wrong charges levied on me

                                    Technician (Farrukh) came to resolve alarm issue but he didn't rectify the problem and instead he created one more problem of leakage of water inside. Now ro isn't working at all and alarm is continuously buzzing.
                                    He took 4050 at first visit and now he is asking another 1000 rs. Senior technician (Sanjay) also came. He also checked something and said he will discuss this issue with somebody and call me. But didn't call. Later on after waiting for so long i called upon and he is saying that you have to pay again
                                    This is pathetic from kent people.
                                    Never expected this kind of behaviour and unprofessionalism from these guys.

                                      Fraud Kent complaint number: 42681, Recently we have purchased Kent water purifiers Garnd Plus and I raised service request through online and next day service agent came and installed machine and also I requested service agent to install prefilter as well, they installed prefilter and took 900rs and extra 100rs for our satisfaction. After some time I have received message from Kent saying prefilter cost 700rs. We trusted Kent but Kent is not actually following values. Kent service people are doing fraud and took 200rs extra. It has been proved through Kent Nellore service manager via call center. And Kent agent even not giving bill for Kent original product if I know before purchasing product I was stopped purchasing. We were in conference with agent he was talking very impolite manner.

                                      I am not yet all satisfied with your service and it’s worst. Please return me my amount by taking action on service center

                                      Recently Kent service guys are calling me and talking very rude and they have to pay me 10000 for cheating customer and unprofessional behaviour, wasting my time, and cheating government without providing bills for parts and products which are sold by service centers
