The maintenance cost for Kent ro+uv water filter is too high .Ihave almost changed 80-90 % of the Kent part this year and it has already costed my around 7k which is around the half of the price.Even i raised this issue with there customer care and mailed them with the receipts but no satisfactory answer.The equipment comes with 3 months warranty which is very less.Over to it they are charging for the service charge every-time around 300 rupees. bearing this high maintenance cost is very difficult. Its better to use packaged mineral water.

    I am using kent ro prime tc model since 3 years now. Last time when i had raised a routine service request with kent customer support, they sent technician from one of their authorized agency named 'quick services'. He suggested us to take amc which we also thought would be an good idea, but it seemed to be an worse idea to take. The quick services agency numbers mentioned in the bill/amc certifcate are not working. Since 2 days we are raising request and asking the support to assign it to quick services as we have amc with them, and we are not getting and help/support for such small thing. Everytime, they are assigning it some other agencies and they are calling and saying that they would charge us as amc is not with them.

    After calling multiple times, kent support says cancel the request and raise a new one and ask the customer support agent to assign it to quick services agency.

    I don't get this, i am asking simple request to kent customer support for assigning the request to quick services but they are not doing it.

    If for such reason kent support is taking more than 2 days just to assign then this is not a good service to customer instead this is harassment.

    We feel cheated. I am worried if the quick services is shut down permanently or was a fraud agency, but they were introduced to us by kent customer support as authorized dealers, so its kent responsibility to provide support from any other agency if needed.

    After submitting the complaint on consumer forum, Kent customer support contacted Area manager for the Pune region and assigned the request to Quick Services. The technician visited and changed the faulty part. The agency was closed from few months and reopened few days back only. Thanks for your quick support. My belief over Indian consume forum is increased.

    Let us know if any more details required regarding Quick Services. We just need service as its under AMC.
    If Quick Services doesn't exists anymore then Kent should transfer the AMC contract to other agency as its Kent responsibility to provide support. Quick Services was introduced by Kent only as an Authorized dealers. Kent should have some contract or contact details of the agency to get hold off them.

    Kent Team never contacted us and we threw this product in garbage because of pathetic service. We bought new AO Smith machine and very happy from last 2 years.
    Can I have an update on above case id mentioned in the subject line??? It's already more than a week still installation process is not yet completed the agent assigned to this case id is not responding I need an update on this urgently.

      Hi,

      I purchased one kent ro through amazon 3 months back on 21st of august 2018.

      Product: kent grand plus 8-litre mineral ro + uv/uf with tds controller water purifier

      Issue: machine is mal functioning frequently. Already 5 technician visit done and many parts of the machine replaced. Already ro membrane twice, filter, carbon etc replaced. I want replacement of the machine. I suspect some manufacturing defect with the machine.

        I have a kent ro filter issue where in i am getting noice in the machine on 17 nov 2018
        Raised a complaint request no:[protected].
        Tech named vijith - chennai location karapakam area has came in for a home visit told that the ro filter has gone bad. He said we can fix it only by replacing only the ro filter.
        When i ask him the price of it he said cost : 4750.

        When i checked with the the kent site : it shows powp-ro membrane welded 8"

        When i asked the same to the kent customer care they said 2500 for the ro filter
        When i tell them that the tech has cheated me by charging more they are not taking it seriously & saying that we will send an other tech to fix the issue.

        This is how the kent service is

        Later i have escalated the issue spoken to the local area manager of my area karapakam. With in the conversation the manager has disconnected the call.

        I have made a compliment to the call centre with the local area manager's behaviour. Told that i have to escalate the issue to the floor manager.

        Floor manager janardan is a such a stupid not even worried about the user concern. When i ask him to take the responsibility of the issue untill my issue is fixed & asked him to share the office extension he disconnected the call with i am on call with him.
        When i call them again agent says that might be a technical issue.

        There was no proper response from the team.

        If they gonna follow the same patten of maintaing the managers like this
        The company will loose the valuable customer & the trust on the kent.

        Have KENT RO System under AMC with OM ELECTRONICS -CHENNAI since five years. My recent service request [protected] was not attended stating i dont have an AMC, whereas my AMC is valid till April 2019. OM Electronics are not responding to my telephone calls.

            Complaint no[protected] was raised on 2/11/2018 for attending machine defect... Now its 16/11/2018 company is not responding to attain the problem on time.. There technicians are saying for 1 complaint we are not visiting the site if complaints are more than 3-4 in your area then only we visit the site otherwise wait till the complaint number to increase to 3-4.. For the same call was given to customer care but there response is also not at committing level... They are just saying that in coming 4 hrs. Our senior will call you back for the concern.. Now 24 hrs. Has been passed there is not a single call from customer care and till now there no technician visit for attending the problem...

              I have purchased kent prime # KR[protected] in april 2016 since then i spent 10000 for maintenance (Excluding two repair in warranty period). Recently in april 18 i have been charged 2500 for filters and then in jun again i have been charged 3000 for something else. Again It stoped working suddenly in September 18. When I placed complain on this platform on 4 SEP 18 service technician attended complain and demandeda300 as visit charges.
              Just 2 month passed from earlier complain which was attended by Kent RO service agent today my Kent RO stop functioning again. How can a system with a reputed brand can have so frequent breakdowns. How can I bare the repair cost every after 2 month. In earlier complain service area manager said "for healthy water that much cost is genuine". I just want to know the justification on promise given while on purchase i.e. annual maintenance cost will be Less than 2000. I suggest every one to buy a local RO of rupees 8000 instead of Kent RO. This was my mistake that I trusted the brand. So please don't repeat same mistake. For Kent RO representative please call me at [protected].

              Service technician came on 19 Nov 18 and demanded 2500 for repair but denied to pay i because I can't bear too heavy repair cost so frequent.

                Sir I purchased kent grand plus mineral ro sr.no.KR[protected] and it worked well for first 04 months and after that there was no water outlet from the machine. Regarding this I made a call to the customer care so many times they simply bluffed that with in 24 to 48 hrs our engineer will visit at your house, all bluff after 08 days also no body came to attend the problem. again I called the customer care they forwarded the call to their superior who connected me to the area sales manger through conferencing and the area sales manager assured me that within 36 hours our engineer will visit, but again of no use. next day I again called customer care they gave me the number of other engineer, when I called him he asked me to the call the same person who came to install it. when I called the one who installed it I got the reply that as I am In goa for 06 days I can not come now.
                when again I contacted the person whose number was given by the company he advised me to wait for 06 days. sir really the after sales service provided by the kent ro is really pathetic. I was planning to buy another kent ro but now I think I must think again, sir as my machine is under warranty no body is coming to attend it. sir kindly if they are not providing free service of machine under warranty then they must spread rumors of providing 05 years of free service.sir kindly look into the matter.

                  We got this product just over 1 year ago and I have already called customer care with issues around 5-10 times already. In the first year I didn't really bother because the service was free but I had to spend a lot on filters. Recently it again broke down and apparently according to the company technician this is a bigger problem and the suggestion from him was to replace the pump every year which costs Rs.5000/- every year. Do you really think customer is going to spend that much every year for a Rs 16000/- product? Also I have my relatives who have been using KENT products for as long as I can remember and they have had no issues apart from the occasional filter change. I suspect this is a faculty product and I would want you to find a solution for this. I'm absolutely dissatisfied with the this product

                      This is in continuation to my previous complaint against kent ro.
                      Today kent management sent one engineer to adress my complaint and to find out the malfunction of their product. The purpose of this visit was to resolve the complaint and to see the losses what i lost. But that engieer came and did nothing and after that he was asking for service charge of rupees 300.

                      Kent sent an engineer their own without my request and wants customer will bear the expenses.

                      This is next to the cheapest response from kent.

                        Replaced the kent ro motorised pump unit and paid rs 3750 including the service charges. After fixing the repair there is immediate leakage from the filter unit. The issue occurred after fixing the pump and the customer care as well as the service person were informed of the same. However it is still not attended. I don’t intend to pay any service charges again for same day failure after replacement of the pump. And the service guy sent through kent customer service mr ganapati sahu instead of getting things fixing is insisting for getting a ro of livepure make. This is thoroughly unprofessional

                        Not sure whether the RO pump has malfunced or not as there is no visible leakage nor any sound or pressure drop, the pump has stopped working after the alarm has sustained for an hour. Now there is no green LED glow after the tank is filled up. Something has gone wrong after the replacement of the Kent RO pump. The service person lacks proper training and they are into fraud practices. KENT Customer service need to address such issues immediately .

                        There is none who is bothered for the sub standard service done by Kent’s service personnel. I think such fraud practices need serious attention.
                        The person who has done the last service and absconded shall fix the things free of cost.

                          I bought kent grand plus last month, october 2018. But since 3 days the purifier is not switching on. I have been calling customer care twice a day since it happened. But i get only one response saying technician will visit within 24hours but no one turns up. I am again buying bisleri water can after spending 15k on this useless purifier. And it worked hardly for a month. Such a horrible customer service kent has. I never thought this is so worst company. I better had bought zero b, they have far better customer support.

                          I had to follow up with customer executive everyday with 3-4 calls. When I told customer executive to transfer call to senior person in charge it got escalated and resolved. So for almost 4 days I didn't get any help. Posting the issue in consumer complaints also helped me get their attention into the issue

                          Yes the issue is resolved after 4 days of registering complaint. I had to make daily 3-4 calls to customer care and finally when I forced customer executive to transfer call to senior staff issue got escalated and fixed. But we want better customer service.

                            On 7 th Nov 2018, I have bought a KENT WATER PURIFIER MINERAL RO GRAND PLUS from reliance digital, Near Collector Office, Erode-638011, and received the product on the very next day. For installation I called Kent customer care.They informed me that, the installation will be done within 48 hours.But during the time of purchase they told the installation will be done at the time of delivery. It's been over 6 days, I have been following up on customer care everyday, but no one came for installation till today. Nothing short, very pathetic service. I hereby attaching images of the invoice.

                              In march 2018, we had called ro clinic for a problem: water was leaking from the kent ro filter. Ro clinic is an authorized kent ro servicer in bengaluru. The technician came and changed prefilter bit for inr 1300 and then ro membrane & fittings, filter bit again for a total of inr 5850. I have receipts for all these.

                              Now in oct 2018, the same problem appeared and water was leaking from the filter. The technician came in late oct 2018 and fixed the same. At that time it was fixed. Date: oct 24, 2018. Case id:[protected].

                              Today the kent ro started leaking again and all the water leaks out.

                              I am concerned that the servicer does not know what the problem is and we are incurring costs to the tune of over inr 7000 so far.

                              I want to complain to the head office and see what can be done. I want to change the product to something simpler and preferably not kent as i feel the costs of maintenance is bvery high. Can you help solve this problem?

                                Our kent water filter pump replaced by the said service agent rain drop service agent, bommanahalli on 17 sept 2018. Original bill is enclosed for your ready ref please) after one month of installation the pumping problem started again. From that time on wards we were calling the agent for repairing the same. But the agent neither picking up the call nor responding to the call even if he picks up. He always gives a standard reply that within two minutes we will call back you. But they never did it so. Later on we started asking complaint number but they didn't provide it. (All the calls are recorded for further reference in case required.).
                                As a consumer we need to resolve the complaint and approached another service person. We don’t know whether he will attend the complaint or not.

                                As a reputed company of the country we purchased your product. But the after sale service stands miserably failed and the authorized service agent miserably failed to fulfill his duties.
                                In view of the above you are requested to resolve the issue at the earliest and instruct the agent to compensate the mental trauma we were facing for last few months

                                  For installation of kent prime ro at my new location (Hyderabad), i called kent ro customer care. They sent one representative for installation. That representative sold me amc for 1 year. (Scanned receipt attached for your reference).

                                  While giving receipt, i asked him why he is not giving kent receipt (In receipt, company name was rk water solutions). He told me that his company is having dealership with kent ro.

                                  Recently kent prime ro is not working properly, it is still under amc. Even though amc start date and end dates are mentioned clearly in receipt, kent representative refused to do free replacements. He is insisting to take amc again for free replacements of items.

                                  Kindly take necessary action and resolve the issue immediately.

                                    We took amc from lucky enterprises, authorised kent services
                                    Add. Shagun building, shop no. 15, near lekha farms, kiwale pune 412101 on 11 march 2018 for an year.
                                    Amc explicitly mentioned the parts - all filters and all electronic parts.
                                    However when the filter stopped working on 9 nov 2018, we called them and the executive after replacing the filters said that the filters are not covered. We showed him the amc but he said that different filters needs to be fitted if it is replaced under amc. I told him we already mentioned that machine is under amc then why he is making random excuses. He left saying that he will come back and take away the filters. This is cheating as while taking amc they mentioned everything and now denying the parts and services

                                        The people at zaid enterprise is run by #. I took amc on 3 nov 2018 and complained about water purifier on 2 nov 2018. After person came home after 50 hours, asked for money and abused in case not paying amount.

                                        After fixing the problem, leakage is happening for the last 4 days and no one came as of 8 nov 2018.
                                        On calling for refund of amount, i am getting # answer and getting abused once again.

                                        If no one wants to gives services, better sit at home and not open services organisation.
