We asked for replacement of the filters off our kent ro water purifier. The otp was 65527. Though it was assured that the technician will come in 48 hours, no technician has visited here still after 5 days. First the chittoor office contacted me on phone and transfered the case to tirupati office. The tirupati office contacted me on phone and assured to come on 3rd september for sure. Yesterday (4th setember) i called him again to remind. He again assured me to come today, but has not come. Now he is not even picking up the call.

The filters are now so damaged that waterflow has come down and we even do not know how much safe is the water that we are giving to our kids to drink.

    I had booked a service request on 04th september, 2018 for my water purifier kent max for normal servicing job. My request no. Was[protected]. The machine was under warranty. The job was originally assigned to one mr. Binay (Cell[protected] via text message from kent. However, one mr. Anil (Cell[protected] from royal service, an authorised service franchisee of kent, had visited my home at 4.30 pm yesterday. Initially we hesitated to allow him as he did not wear kent’s uniform and as such has no proof that kent had sent him for the job. But as he insisted, we somehow allowed him to carry out the job in good faith. He had started servicing job and at 6.30 pm when he finished it off, the machine started leaking water profusely. When we asked him to repair the same as it was not there before he started his job, he expressed his inability to do the same. We instantly called kent for a senior technician. Accordingly, one ms. Moumita chakraborty called us up from the aforesaid service agency and told us that no technician could be sent instantly and we must let her person go and she would arrange someone in due course to complete the servicing. When we argued that her technician had damaged our new machine under warranty badly, she started abusing us over phone, teaching us manners and saying sarcastically that we did not make any big deal by purchasing a machine from kent etc. We ignored these saying we wanted a senior executive today at any cost as water is dripping from the machine constantly and we have no other alternative source of drinking water without this. Then a senior technician, mr. Priyabrata hazra, came and instantly started abusing us saying it was a mistake on his part to visit our home. He even warned me, saying – you can go at any length, complain at any level, but this will not be repaired. Then i told him that i will call police if he continued such howling and shouting and abusing us without taking any action to repair the damaged machine. Seeing we are stubborn, he finally admitted that the junior technician, mr. Anil, had somehow damaged the ccb of my machine and it requires replacement. I told him categorically that i would not allow them to leave unless and until they put my machine under warranty back to its original condition. After much argument and abuse, he finally replaced the same and left my home at around 8.40 pm at night. The entire fiasco created huge stress and tension for my octogenarian father and my wife and i have to call up a doctor yesterday for their treatment subsequently.

    Now, vide this mail, i am raising certain issues to kent:

    1. Do you really this it is a foul play of replacing genuine machine parts by a local one? If so, who will take the responsibility of the wrong-doing?
    2. Do i really commit any crime by purchasing a water purifier from kent? I had been using the same from eureka forbes for last sixteen years and never faced such a problem ;
    3. Can you stop sending any technicians from this service agency, royal service in future?
    4. Do you send only authorised executive wearing uniform and carrying proper i-card for the safety of your consumer? It is highly unethical and risky to send any person for servicing whose name is not originally proposed by kent, in case of any untoward incident, will kent shoulder the responsibility?
    5. Do you really take any action against this vinay and anil and priyabrata and moumita and the agency itself to set precedence? Or, do we really stop using your machine and stop recommending others to use the same?

    I have not yet close the service as i am not at all satisfied with the issue and eagerly waiting for your response to my mail before initiating any further action on this issue...

      I have kent ro system installed in my home 10 years back.
      Im in bangalore. I need service help. I have paid for amc but i dont get any service. Ro system was working fine but after payment of amc - dealer in bangalore (Sanjay nagar) doesnot attend calls & doesnot do service of machine. My calls to service centre not attended & service engineer doesnot bother about the calls

        Pathetic service by kent. Purchased a ro from kent in 2017 and within 11 months, service person, send kent cutomer care told to replace 3 filters costing 3500. Also insisted on buying additional amc and spending 7000.
        Later on, when we called kent ro customer care, they told this is a third party amc and they have no idea.
        Why on the earth then you send these local agency "rain drops" to us.
        Now it is exact 2 months since the last service and ro has completely stopped working and inspite of calling multiple times, no one turned up.
        Finally when we raised a request again with kent, a technician turned up and after checking again telling some part is gone and although we have paid for amc, he doesn't have part and we should for font know how many days.

        Wake up kent ro!!! Stop bluffing the customer,
        This is my final request to look into the matter or else take your ro back.

          Highly irresposible behaviour, a bunch of cheatsters fraud, would recommend never to buy kent filter. Inspite of repeated remindets and calls, the technician does not even turn up to check the product, moreover the peopleat the complaint centre are simply unaware of the procedure to be followed. Ii had lodged a compaint at the service centre on 25th august 2018, but there is very poor response. They charge us rs 5000 for a yearly contract on service, but when the service is required there is no follow up, the technician and the entire management gives lame excuses which lead nowhere. Really feel so pissed off calling them ip regularly but with no response at all. My filter is yet not working till date

            My complaint is after installation no any response or notification get from kent ro for regular services. Now when i inform about service, then he gave the answer to give service on a paid basis while i could not given any service after installation. Is not any responsibility to know how many ro machine install in particular areas and was given regular service in warrenty period. He keep quit and wait to cross warenty period
            . Very bad and poor service and rude behaviour to customer.
            Ithink they have only intrest to sale the products.

              My kent pearl ro is under warranty. On 02.09.2018 one of the support hook broken. Immediately i have registered the complaint using their app. My request id is[protected]. On 03.09.2018 i received an sms with details of the service engineer. Until 4 pm no body called or attended and lethargic answer from customer care too. Serious manufacturing defect.

                I have purchased kent prime in april 2016 since then i spent 10000 for maintenance (Excluding two repair in warranty period). Recently in april 18 i have been charged 2500 for filters and then in jun again i have been charged 3000 torso. E spare. It stops working suddenly and i have to spend some amount. It again started warning alarm i have to arranged 3k-4k again for its repair/maintenance. Never buy kent. It's better to buy a local ro cost around 8000.

                Just 2 month passed from earlier complain which was attended by Kent RO service agent today my Kent RO stop functioning again. How can a system with a reputed brand can have so frequent breakdowns. How can I bare the repair cost every after 2 month. In earlier complain service area manager said "for healthy water that much cost is genuine". I just want to know the justification on promise given while on purchase i.e. annual maintenance cost will be Less than 2000. For Kent RO representative please call me at [protected], [protected]
                I was complaining for high maintenance cost as on 9 Aug 18, 3000/- paid for some spare and service charge and it's started warning alarm. In this response one technician came for put alarm and demanded 250 as service charges. This is reality of Kent consumer service. They just want to loot the consumer.
                I want to tell Kent if my this issue is not shorted out I sue u in Consumer court.

                  Hi,

                  I have purchased a ro purifier in 2015 for approximately 8000 rs. Since then we have spent around 9000rs on the maintenance. All the parts needs regular replacements. Now the money spent on the maintenance is more than the product itself in 3 years. Now the latest bill has come around 2700rs. So we are not ready to encourage this.
                  Is this the quality of your products.? I'm very disappointed.
                  Let me know what actions will you take to solve this.

                      Just before warranty they charged 1000 for changing the filter and later the RO started giving problem within a month. Technician installing faulty components. Also ask for new charges even when informed it's within warranty. Just in July I paid 2500 and now they are asking for another 2500.

                        I would like to inform you that i have worked with Kent RO system for last 3 year and on 18 july 2018 i have resigned from my designation due to my personal problems and clear all allotted assets of Kent RO systems but still i did not received my salary of 22 days along with that my Original certificate deposited in HR department they were deny to provide my Certificates, now i am requesting you please look into this matter seriously else i will go through the court and will sue against KENT RO Systems.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          We have purchased a RO 9f kent make in 2016. It costed us approx 13000rs for new RO. Now each year we are spending close to 12k for its maintenance. We have made several calls to kent RO over email and phone but all in vain. There is no reply from kent. Please find below the email which we have forwarded to kent RO.

                          Kent RO I have spent more than 12k yearly on kent RO parts which are installed in a year in my RO. It was installed in 2016. If we have to spend 12k yearly on my RO, then why would I install parts on yearly basis if we can buy your same New RO for almost the same price. I am not at all satisfied with the service which you are providing.

                          Your company executive Mr naveen sharma who is always coming to handle our query has already signed the letter that we are not satisfied with kent which he will show to your company executives. I am attaching this letter here also.

                          Also the parts which you are replacing does not carry replacement warranty of more than 3 months as per your executive mr naveen sharma. Their is no mention of the 3 month warranty also on paper.

                          Let me know what action you are taking to sort my problem.

                          Sir, kindly take strict action against these type of companies as they don't take their customer complain seriously.

                          Now in this forum also kent are not serious. They are saying that my number is switched off. I have already emailed them my number which I have on email also as a proof but they are saying my number is switched off. I guess they are not serious about their customers.

                            Kent disowned the responsibility of dolphin refrigeration, your local franchisee for their amc contract @ rs 7000/- end on 22/06/2018.

                            On clarification of not getting service as per amc contract since january 2018, they explained, as they have record of calling customer care last week only, they out-rightly reject the contract by their authorized local franchisee who dealt with us june 2017 for one year amc.

                            Fact is, we did not know their local franchisee. Based on our complain to kent last year, dolphin visited us. We took amc for one year. After that dolphin, the authorized franchisee did not respond to our call since jan 2018. There has been no proactive intimation on any update about this franchisee from kent ro since we purchased amc!

                            It appears the current case is a clear legal liability lying with kent which they constantly denying giving a suggestion to pay fresh to their franchisee for new amc and got necessary repair of my ro system.

                            There has been several communications with kent in mail.

                            We have not received any complaint from you during the AMC period. You have been contacting the service franchise who is no longer associated with Kent instead of contacting our customer care.
                            Now since the AMC has already expired, we regret to say that you will have to pay for service charges as well as cost of spares.

                            The authorized franchisee has been introduced by you.
                            We took AMC. The evidence is submitted. Since Jan 2018 their service disappeared.
                            And there has been no alarm from you for disassociation of your Franchisee and solution about pending issues!
                            We wonder, how can you disown your legal liabilities!

                            Subsequent to our mail, we give additional inputs on AMC service by Dolphin Refrigeration, Vadodara.

                            We took AMC in JUNE 2017.
                            They actually did 3 services out of total 4.

                            The 3rd service, they provided during Mar - Apr 2018. That time they did some minor repair and also recommended to change the pump in their 4th service.

                            But after that they stopped responding. And we come to know your dis-association only after complaining about the pending issues.

                            It is therefore surprising act by KENT RO, now that;

                            1. How can Kent RO disown their responsibility without showing any poactive evidence of alarming us of their dis-association.

                            2. Also in any franchisee agreement any disassociation must consider the pending liabilities of old Franchisee.

                            We repeat the introduction of Dolphin etc. have been introduced by Kent RO only to us. It is therefore a very loose act by Kent RO by putting the liabilities on customer for false act of their introduced franchisee. That's why we took the highest AMC in scope!

                            We need right resolution in the legal scope.

                            No resolution, yet by KENT RO.
                            We got a call from KENT RO Customer service last week.
                            They listened our case, did not comment show any disagreement on our claim.
                            But since then its status quo.
                            We need resolution.

                            We repeat that KENT has to provide their service, pending in account of AMC which was closed on July 2018.

                              I had to make several calls to Kent customer care to buy a water purifier from the regional distributor at my city. Each time I spoke to the customer care, the first thing they would say is that they are sorry.. it was irritating to hear this because the matter of my call would never be addressed efficiently. Finally I abandoned the dealer and bought a purifier through Amazon. Now I am undergoing the same problem for installation. I have called the manufacturer several times so far and requested installation. Each time I call, I am told that someone will come in another 12to 24 hours. So far no one has come to install my water purifier.

                                Dear Sir/Madam,

                                We have purchased a RO 9f kent make in 2016. It costed us approx 13000rs for new RO. Now each year we are spending close to 12k for its maintenance. We have made several calls to kent RO over email and phone but all in vain. There is no reply from kent. Please find below the email which we have forwarded to kent RO.

                                Kent RO I have spent more than 12k yearly on kent RO parts which are installed in a year in my RO. It was installed in 2016. If we have to spend 12k yearly on my RO, then why would I install parts on yearly basis if we can buy your same New RO for almost the same price. I am not at all satisfied with the service which you are providing.

                                Your company executive Mr naveen sharma who is always coming to handle our query has already signed the letter that we are not satisfied with kent which he will show to your company executives. I am attaching this letter here also.

                                Also the parts which you are replacing does not carry replacement warranty of more than 3 months as per your executive mr naveen sharma. Their is no mention of the 3 month warranty also on paper.

                                Let me know what action you are taking to sort my problem.

                                Sir, kindly take strict action against these type of companies as they don't take their customer complain seriously.

                                  I have kent ro pearl. The dealer from whom i had purchased the filter called me and told me that the first servicing is due so he is sending a technician for the same. After servicing and changing the filter cartridge the person prepared an amc and told me to sign it. I told him that i don't want any amc then he told me that i have to give him money then. Now my concern is that i hadn't ask for the servicing or the amc, why i have to pay? When i called the customer service representative, they told me that they have nothing to do with their dealers so they can not do anything in this regard. I have to deal with the person myself. Should i complain regarding this to the department of customer affairs?

                                    We bought a kent pearl in january 2018.

                                    1) the filter had to be changed twice already and the light indicator on the purifier has stopped working. The warranty for the filter happens to be 6 months. We've been asked to purchase the filter twice now, in matter of a few months. Don't recommend this product at all.
                                    2) we've had inexperienced, unprofessional technicians assigned to us. Not only did they show up 2 - 3 days late, but they never fixed the problem and never even followed through. Their behavior was rude and generally disrespectful.

                                    I would discourage anyone from buying this product.

                                      I have purchased a kent max water purifier on 14th august 2018. Total i have paid 9500for that but after installation i observe smell in water like normal supply water, i have also install a iron guard. Even earlier i have used pure it cost rs 3000 but smell was not there and no iron was found.
                                      After serving water everybody start complaining about the quality that it like normal supply water. Though kent person told me that sir you will feel no smell only in ro water purifier.
                                      I ma not satisfied at all with kent water purifier and strongly recommend others not to buy kent purifier.

                                        Dear sir,

                                        I had purchased a under the counter advanced ro with kent's patented mineral ro tm technology and an inbuilt tds controller water purifier... From your store in pune, right from the warranty period your staff is supposed to undertake quarterly servicing, but they have just complaint about the under counter product by the company has too much problems,

                                        It has been 3 years since i purchased the water-purifier. And i must have spent equal amount of money on the repair and service of the product, atleast i have more than 20 service requests receipt and a call record of much more than that on your toll-free number for servicing; your own team people who has been coming for service has to say that the under counter machine has a problem and same has been told us and reported so far.

                                        Since the water in my locality has high tds value, but your team denys to get the required drinkable water as per norms, after i have mentioned that before i use to get the tds no that was good to drink, they say when machine is new it happens, now these are very weird answers, now they have been asking me to swap the machine to the regular above counter that will help and server my problem, i

                                        I request you to look into this matter urgently and do the needful.

                                        If there is a genuine problem with the manufacture of this machine i call upon for a exchange / replacement or
