This is hari from chennai.

I have bought kent prime in november 2016.

We are facing lot of issues with the system. We had to replace each and every part within1.5 years. It seems more like our particular product is more faulty.

We have raised several complaints using customer service but not getting any proper response.
Please help?

Request you to replace the machine it's too faulty as we have changed all the parts inside it within one year.
I didn't think kent will give this kind of faulty products.. I can agree one in 10000 has faults but it has to be replaced in that case.

    The complaint was lodged vide reference no.[protected] on july 16, 2018 since the water from the outlet was only coming drop-by-drop. Technician came and replaced several parts and i was charged rs. 6, 500/-. It was observed in the evening on the same day that though both green and red lights are glowing, water was not coming. The same was reported to the technician but he told that he will be on leave from tomorrow hence can not come and advised to lodge complaint. This problem is not continuous but sometimes the machine is working alright. Since then, i lodge complaint and technician comes but they don't check anything since at that point of time, the machine works.
    Necessary action to rectify the problem with thorough check-up of the reason may please be made. To my belief, there may be some loose connection which may be rectified.

    I am afraid that it may be a refined tactics of cheating customer.

      First i registered complain at kent service on[protected]

      They send technician and he told me u. F. Frt and ro membrane need to change.
      Then after three days continuous effort again technician ist my house and replace this parts. But problem no solved yet. Error signal sound came out from the machine.
      2nd time i registered complain again at kent service on:[protected]
      Case id:[protected]
      Again they send technician and he change my machine original circuit board with duplicate circuit board machine start running but machine error signal and sound feature was missing from my machine. After 2 weeks again machine stop working.
      Now i want to replace my product as all the parts already changed but still machine stop working and machine within warranty. But kent company deny to replace my product.

      Currently i want legal action from consumer forum. Please take necessary action as soon as possible.
      Consumer please donot buy any kent product, full kent company from salesman to customer support all are cheater.

        I never knew your agents are so qualified.
        I had raised installation request. The assigned person never came instead someone else came. That guy broke the water pipe inside my kitchen wall while fixing the connector in the tap. The way he tightened the tap the pipe l shape connector got broke. Plumber had to break the wall tiles to get it repaired. That costed my 1000 rs. Additionally my owner has demanded 5k for the broken wall. Along with that my complete day is wasted. What an experience. The worst part is the guy who came for installation left once it's broken and never answered my call. Still the device is not installed.

        Please let me know who will reimburse me 6k.

            I had purchase Kent Super Mineral RO bearing SNo KR[protected] at Mhow, Madhya Pradesh in September 2015. I have now relocated to Bangalore and placed a request with Kent RO for intallation of my Kent RO calling their helpline on 19 Jul 2018. I was assigned request no[protected]. The request was assigned to Mr Akhil but till date nothing has been done by the service technician and when I made a call to Mr Akhil, he has neither received my call nor responded to my WhatsApp message for installation. This issue was communicated to Kent RO on their helpline number but till date installation of the RO has not taken place nor attended to by any Kent RO service representatives which speaks of very poor after sales service by Kent RO.

            May I request for a early resolution of my request for installation of Kent RO.

              Hello,

              I requested for Reinstallation of Kent Ro from my Old house address to new one. Services person reached to home as per timeline and Connected the RO with the Water connection and he said I will come tomorrow to check TDS as my TDS meter is not Working.

              After some time his Boss call came and asked for the Closure OTP, I asked that TDS checking and TDS setting are pending and now he is saying that TDS checking not required and it will take additional charges

              In a month 3 times made complaint every time they are coming and changed all the devices from Kent, almost 10000 Rs. i paid to them.. but issue is same. I am not understanding what need to do with this device??? please suggest who can help on this.

                I have purchased Kent Grand Plus RO on 22.04.2018. Within few days of purchase of product it started giving troubles.

                First time i. e on 25.06.2018 carbon filter and one other part was changed
                Within one week after this RO again stopped working. I asked the engineer not to close the case because after lodge of complaint service engineer take 48 hours of time to visit. But everytime the case is closed without my permission and without getting issue resolved.
                On 29.06.018, the machine again stopped working and i called the engineer but his reply was same “i will change the parts but there is no permanent solution to this”, i told him it means your product is not serving what it was supposed to service and hence you should take back your product and refund my money back. He did not agree and said let him try once more. He cleaned the filters and machine started working.
                Third time on 11.07.2018 again I lodged the complain as water was not being refilled again, again engineer came did some cleaning.
                Fourth time i.e on 17.07.2018 also water was not being refilled and engineer came on 18.07.2018 and told that filter is blocked. He Changed two parts in the RO - one was iron filter. Also note that water from RO is not odourless, a smell is coming from the water and engineer is telling that smell will come if there will be some problem in the machine so again I asked him to replace machine. I have purchased a branded product and if product will give this much of trouble i would not continue with it. He called his manager and i had talk to him. His manager told do whatever i want to do he will not replace the machine nor he will give refund.

                I request you to please take immediate action on this and assist me in getting my money back. This product is defective and service of RO is very poor.

                Forcefully i had to continue with kent's pathetic service.

                Now i have taken yearly AMC

                  I own a grand plus filter with a 3year AMC in effect at the moment. My machine stopped working 15th July 2018 i.e. Sunday for which I booked an appointment from the Sun Services, kolkata (the service centre in charge of my AMC). They gave me an appointment for 17th afternoon i.e. after 2 days for which I took a leave from my work ( am a doctor working in a govt. hospital). Then till noon of 17th I was told that a mechanic has been assigned named Raju who will surely visit me by 5-6pm of that day. So, accordingly I took a leave for that time slot. But then after 6pm, the mechanic stopped picking up my call and so did all the staffs of the Sun service centre (Mr. Sukanta).
                  So, this is the way you treat your customers and you waste their valuable time and money. I paid an amount of Rs. 13500 for 3years comprehensive AMC and this is what I get!! I demand an immediate resolution of my problem along with an explanation for such behaviour or else I am gonna put a complaint at the consumer forum.

                    Dear Sir/Madam,

                    I have purchased Kent RO Supreme with 17500/- at 4 years back, Hardly i have used 1 year. later it started harassing me with so many problems.

                    every time I had to pay 3000/- for servicing, every time one or other will fail.
                    I doubt they intentionally set to fail one part every other time.

                    so far I had to pay 20000/- for repair which is not at all reasonable.

                    I request everybody to not buy Kent products.

                    They are expensive technicians, for just fixing small wallet they will charge 350+ GST tax.

                    I have every bill which i have done maintenance so far, This is worst /loss product which i did not quoted for any of other product.

                      With reference to following mentioned detail I have got distributor ship of KENT R.O.SYSTEM through Mr. Haresh Thad (ASM KUTCH ), and material of r.o. system also bought worth about 3LACS. And at the time when I bought mentione material I promised to get service centre of Anjar and Adipur also where there is no service center of same pincode, now after approx 20 day I have not got even distributor certificate or service centre agreement. Now service centre, OFFICER KUTCH MR. JAYANTI VARSUR telling that who have got the sales work may not get the servicework.
                      IN ABOVE SITUTAION I AM ALSO FACING PROBLEM TO SALE R.O. MACHINES OF KENT WITH OUT SERVICE CENTRE.

                        I am a serving soldier of indian air force . I purchased a kent ro grand plus sl no kr [protected] on 08 jul 18. For installation customer care was approached . Installation was completed. But the very next day the machine gone unserviceable. Again i made a complaint. Service engineer visited on 14 jul 18 and suggested to install additional pre filter costing rs 850/_. The following need to be clearify. No.1 -is product supplied to csd is not of grade 1 quality? no.2- if the machine was faulty it would have been replaced instead of rectifying defects? no.3- if pre filter is a mandatory spares it should come as an asseccories along with machine.

                          I am literally at my wit's end waiting for the service technician to arrive at my place. I have placed a complaint and it's been 4 days that I have not received any service from the provider. On the third day they give me the number of the technician but he is not willing to come for some unknown reasons.
                          I have left my daily life routines and am at the mercy of either Kent service center or the distributor.
                          This is the worst service ever and I would not recommend anyone to buy Kent in the future. Their service sucks bigtime.

                            Hi team,

                            We got this product just over 1 year ago and I have already called customer care with issues around 5-10 times. In the first year I didn't really bother because the service was free but I had to spend a lot on filters. Recently it again broke down and apparently according to your technician this is a bigger problem and the suggestion from him was to replace the pump every year which costs Rs.5000/- every year. Do you really think customer is going to spend that much for a Rs 16000/- product? Also I have my relatives who have been using KENT products for as long as I can remember and they have had no issues apart from the occasional filter change. I suspect this is a faculty product and I would want you to find a solution for this. My suggestion would be to replace the product. I'm absolutely dissatisfied with the your product

                              On 30th June 2018 I contacted Kent services for some issue and I was asked if I had AMC or not confirming the product as Out of Warranty and under no AMC I was provided with support within 1 hour and was charged 7850 for AMC for 1 year. I was assured of similar levels of services but within a week there came another issue of no power, while I reported it on 5th July I was again asked if the product is under warranty and confirming that it is under AMC I had to wait for 48 hours to get a tech visit my place. Unfortunately, there was no electricity while he visited and I was assured for service very next day. ever since that day calling KENT Service and APEX Service Center Laxmi Nagar is my daily routine and what am getting is only assurance of service the next day. Disgusting services making fool of customers.

                                I purchased a Kent RO of 10 L capacity and at present it is covered under annual maintenance scheme of the Company. For last few days severe leakage of some pipe joint is happening during filtration and water dripping down from the top machine area. I fear short circuit and grave damage to the components. I filed a complaint through interactive voice system and executive and have been provided with complaint no.[protected] on 9.7.18 evening. Though I waited for the engineer for the whole day nobody arrived.
                                Also, I do not know what components are covered under AMC for free replacement. Send someone for the rectification.

                                I had purchased kent force vaccum cleaner from amazon on 16april2018 and product does not properly functioning like overheate in few minutes and suction power is also not very good even HEPA FILTER is clean.please take some initiative

                                  Hi,

                                  This is in regards to the service done one week back for my Kent water purifier. The service provider was Prompt service from Seawoods, and the technician who did the service was Mangesh who told us all parts need to be changed which we did for Rs 4800/-. Since he left the purifier started leaking, and when we tried calling him for weeks, he never turned up. As per the receipt provided to us, we decided to reach Prompt Service however their phone no did not exist. So I raised the complaint again with Kent customer care, and a technician was assigned from the different service provider. I told him that my kent servicing was done by an earlier technician and still had a problem and which wasn't fixed, he said the same person needs to come and fix it. So today the previous technician Mangesh turned up and dismantled the purifier and fixed it again but with new issues, we don't know what he did, but he broke the casing, and still, the problem of water leakage from the purifier hasn't stopped. I need a free repair and replacement of the parts which was damaged by the Prompt service technician. If they are not don't do it, Kindly let me know what legal action can I against them

                                    Its been more almost 10 months and I have request for repair of the RO for more than 12 times.
                                    After every 20-30 days one of the part gets torn.
                                    This time they said the filters have a warranty of just 6 months so you will be charged for it.
                                    I had even paid 1500 extra for one year extended warranty.
                                    I have paid 1500 extra for 2 external filters, those too are not working.
                                    I am fed up of this visits and low quality filters are getting torn after 2-3 months.
                                    How to request to consumer court for refund of this defective machine.
                                    18000 + 3000 = 21000 spend still I have a defective RO in non working condition

                                      Its just 7 days old.. Power is on but service light not working which means power is on but there is movement in water and not working, last engineer said due to water pressure but there is not at all any water concern, as we have used other RO too..i am failed to understand KENT does not have any media to make complaint over call..simply they have service request that's it...

                                      At the time of installation RO was leaking & throwing water .
                                      So i cant expect anything worst then this..

                                      I am not at alll happy with their service ...it seems my money went in vain please take action... i need replacement or my money back..

                                        Looting the customer has always been a priority for the Kent service persons!!!.
                                        I got my Kent RO re-installed to a different location and had to pay Rs 6000 for parts replacement which i think was not required.
                                        The technician told us to replace certain parts as he felt those parts were not working properly, I wonder how they judge that the component is damaged just by having an external look at the parts which seems totally fine to us when we look at them.
                                        When being asked whats wrong with that part? they say it has to be changed as its not working.
                                        Seriously Kent has hired genius people who can scan parts with there bare eyes and tell you its damaged, I wonder why don't these genius technicians apply for scientists role in NASA they will definitely get hired with many times higher package (simply a waste of talent working with Kent).
                                        Its been a week these super intelligent technicians have been visiting me because of my continuous complaints on Kent Service Center but to no use as the problem is still unresolved. The installation was not done properly there is still water vapour accumulation problem inside the machine.
                                        I am seriously tired of complaining to these people.
                                        If anyone is reading my comment before buying a water purifier then i request you not to buy Kent's product. As every 2-3 years you will end up paying the price of a new machine.
