In my ro was serviced by kent authorized service engineer before 1.5 months. He replace all filter and charge me rs. 4985 and said for 3 months warranty. Filters were not installed properly during service. Now with in two months ro is producing loud noise of vibration among filter. Now when i am calling customer care they wants rs 300 more for see this issue which was created by them only. Attached the complain number and charges text message from kent ro.

    I have purchased kent pristine water purifier on july 2016 from kent.
    It has been just 1 and a half years and i have changed filter & membrane in july 2017 by paying rs 4000.
    Again after 6 mnths i.E now, april 2018, the service person is saying to change filter & mebrane for rs 4000. I have already done that 6 mnths back with a promise that these will last atleast 2 years. where is the promise.

    I have been trying to convince the customer care people that there is some fault in the machine but no body is understanding or responding in a positive way.

    This is very sad & pathetic response from kent to a loyal customer since last 10 years. I am a customer since 2009. I purchased this 2nd kent purifier thinking that i am purchasing the product from the no 1 company of india

    but alas ...The response from kent is very disheartening. They are forcing me to buy another membrane & filter for rs 4000.

    How many times a customer will purchase by paying rs 4000 and that to after 6 mnths only. every 6 mnths customer has to shell out rs 4000. what a pathetic product.

    So to drink water i will pay every 6 months rs 4000. This is wrong. Kent should understand that there is fault with the machine. pl change the machine. machine is faulty.

        My RO was not working properly, the service maintenance person from Kent came and replaced all the filters and membranes. However, the installation of the replaced filters was done in a defective manner of which I again lodged a complaint No: 180331 – 02204 dated 31.03.2018, regarding the following matters with my Kent RO Superplus:

        i. The Carbon filter which had been replaced by your persons on 17 .03. 2018 has erroneously been so placed that it is touching the pump. This was not so previously.

        ii. The touching of the carbon filter and pump causes vibrating noises when the RO is filling. Such was not the case previously

        iii. The outlet tap is leaking.

        Your technician had visited on 31.03.2018, but only tried to justify the above. He also called up someone whom he referred to as the “Area Service Manager” whose name the technician refused to divulge. The “Area Service Manager” was also not all cooperative and only kept on asking me to repeat the problem. He was very rude and refused to help. Both the “Area Service Manager” and the technician refused to resolve the problem saying that the company did not provide the clips required to hold the filter away from the pump. They were adamant that both the pump and the carbon filter would keep on touching. The technician also stated that the company gives this arrangement of keeping the filter and pump separate only in new ROs.

        Surprising the technician also did not resolve any of the other problems.

        The technician also stated while departing that our mail would go to the same “Area Service Manager” with whom I had talked, so resolution should be expected.

        My RO is under AMC and I have paid the full charges to you for the replacement of the filters. The service rendered by you is highly defective and I demand that

        i. My AMC money be refunded as my problems were not redressed

        ii. The replacement of the filters was done in a highly unprofessional and crude manner and as such the money paid for them should also be refunded in full.

        iii. The unethical practice of the company, if the technician is correct, of providing clips for only new ROs and not at the time of replacement of filters is shocking and amounts to fraud and defective service.

        Please resolve the above matter, either refund my money or correct the defects to my satisfaction, within a maximum time of three days failing which I shall be constrained to take up the matter in consumer forum or other suitable forum.

        The above was also mailed to the [protected]@kent.co.in but I ave not even received an acknowledgement of my complaint let alsone its redressal.

          Hi,

          I purchased kent ro in october 2017. But i raised 3 complaints. Every complaint ends up with changing filter. Not sure why i need to change the filters frequently. I am sure that your are not testing properly before introducing the market. For sure i am not going to recommend to anybody.

          If you are really want to help customer please get the feedback from your service engineer.

          Thought kent ro is a very good product but finally confirming it is not good and very bad product

            I have taken amc from them, completely cheated. They took 7500, where they claimed to replace every tube and pump of machine. Technician replaced pump with some other old pump and when asked he told he does not have stock so he is replacing with old one.. What.. Really??? Now after 3 months machine stopped working completely, phone numbers given on invoice, noone picks the call, called almost 30-40 time over 2 weeks. Person who gave amc is like i am not working in your area now.. Rain drop is cheating people like anything.. Very bad exp.. Do something

              Hi,

              I have purchased kent purifier (Kent ultra storage uv+uf purifier) 7 months back from amazon at the delivery time when i opened the box i realize the purifier had splashes of water on it so called kent customer care and informed them about this but they said it because of before delivery it may be tested so i agreed on it and we installed purifier by technician. After 1 week it stopped working (Overflow issue) so lodge a case to kent and it was resolved by replacing some part of it and it was working for a month and again same problem occured again technician visited did some servicing and it started working. I thought it will work now but i was wrong and it started giving same problem this time i called to customer care and shouted on them the executive promised me that this he will sr. Technician and he will fix it your issue permanently but no use of it and problem again occured. Now local distributor asking me bring your purifier at our centre we will check. I am seek of it and it is not possible to me go at their centre. Please help out in this.

                I bought this kent water purifier last year by feb and nearly services for 12 times until two months ago. That was the last time the machine worked, have placed several complaints and they send an sms that respective engineers will visit my residence 24-48 hrs. But none has visited in the given timings, the last 4 times the same engineer visited and had to change the filters and charge me 500rs each time (Machine still under warranty). Its been 2 months now, no one has contacted or responded to my query. Sent several emails, no one has turned up.. Worst customer care ever!!!

                  I a buy kent super plus ro from a air-force canteen as my grand father is an ex service man (Central government employee) at rs 10250. Today i called a customer care a book a service, your executive ask that some parts are not working, so we have replace those parts and it will cost 2700 rs, after that he called some guy and told me that some more are not working now it will cost you around 7000 rs.in only 1 year all the parts are stop working what kind of machinery you are providing to the customer. How its possible all pats are stop working in 1 year. We are out india from last 3months dec, jan and feb as i'am deputed to some onsite work. We hardly use your ro, in 1 year are most time we are not india due to onsite work. Before that i also complaint regarding the same ro and same issue. Your executive fooled us and that ro is working properly there is some problem with switch board and plug and ask ur electrician to change that. After we (Family) went for out of india. Now suddenly all the parts are not working. Please look into the matter seriously and give me proper resolution and replace the machine.

                    We bought a kent ro filter - pearl from intech elec, bangalore in july 2015.
                    When we called them for service, they informed us that we have to contact kent directly.

                    So we got in touch with kent, and they in turn sent an agency called water solutions. When "water solutions" came for service, they sold us an amc for one year on behalf of kent.

                    Now water solutions does not respond to our calls, and kent is washing its hands off.

                    The fact is that water solutions has been sent to us by kent and hence they are responsible for water solutions actions.

                    Please get kent to honour the amc commitment

                      Dear team

                      I purchased kent ro on 31st aug 16.

                      Within 1.5 year the body of ro membrane has cracked.

                      Does kent use such cheap quality plastic which cracks after such a short time. I am shocked!!!

                      I was a loyal customer to kent and has recommended this to all my friends. But this faith has been put to question mark.

                      I have been regular in having the regular maintenance and changing of filters. Even after incurring so much cost, i am asked to pay rs 2500 for membrane which has cracked for no fault of mine and is due to the poor quality of plastic used.

                      Request you to kindly look into this at the earliest.

                        Have booked for a demonstration in Oct 17..after which a a sms was sent saying Mr. Vijeth kumar will be visiting us from Kent office... The person came and suggested a filter that we had to buy after testing the water.. Advance of 6000 was paid.. And later in Dec we again paid the balance amount of 13000 as he said that until we paid the full amount Kent wouldn't supply the filter... After the payment we were repeatedly told the filter was not in stocks... When we enquired again and again we were told that the person left the Kent agency and has cheated us.. Now we have paid the while amount and haven't got the filter.. Calling the Kent helpline and mailing them also proved useless... Nite sure if Kent is a trustable company after this experience... Kindly suggest a solution to get our filter for which we have paid the full amount to a person sent by Kent Co who turned out to be a cheat...

                            IMPORTANT NOTE :
                            During every service visit, the technician leaves some or the other part loose or mishandles the equipment due to which I have to bear the losses of the damage caused by his incompetence. I have spent tens of thousands thus far in the span of 7 months.
                            I have made the complaint to the customer care about the attitude and the way of working of their technicians, although I get the assurance from them, that my problem will be solved in 24-48 hours satisfactorily but that never happens and, still I am getting the problems again and again and every time their technician comes and replaces some or the other part.

                            The technician team always insists me to be available at their own convenient time, else they ask me to cancel the complaint. Due to this attitude of their's I had to miss my office many a times.

                            I understand that every mechanical/electrical device needs maintenance and KENT is not an exception. But this should be once or maximum twice in a year. There are so many issues in a span of past 7 months and even after spending so much money I feel NEITHER the KENT product is good NOR the TECHNICIANS who come to repair are competent enough. Forget about the inconvenience caused due to non availability of drinking water because the complaint never gets resolved in 48 hours as claimed by them. What is the use of purchasing a branded product like KENT

                            It is my sincere request to you that
                            1. This time my problem gets resolved by some competent person so that it doesn't occurs again soon.
                            2. Considering the fact that I have suffered so much financial losses along with the mental harassment and inconvenience due to your incompetent staff or faulty parts, I should not be charged this time again for another damage.

                                We purchased a kent ro sr no kr[protected] from
                                Shree balaji water solution, bhiwadi, phone no [protected]/[protected] on 05/02/2017 vide bill no 5405 dt 05/02/2017 rupees 16500/- with warranty of 1 year this ro not working satisfactorily it stopped providing water frequently on 27/01/2018 they changed kent filter set and charged rs. 1500/- less than a year time and on 10/02/2018 it stopped releasing waste water this ro system is either not original or has a manufacturing fault so we want to get is changed wef

                                  Pfa copy of amc from the above mentioned company for repair and servicing of my kent ro. I had lodged a complain with them on 08.03.2018 which has not been attended to till date. All reminders have been met with false promises and rude rebuttals. The license of this fraudulent company should be cancelled.

                                    We r highly not satisfied with your kent ro purification system as the taste of the water changes frequently that is within fifteen days of service we have purchased this product on 15/4/16.                                       We have sent so many mails from 1March But so far no reply and service provided Pl see our detailed mail from ID [protected]@yahoo.com to service @kent and also to roccomplianceteam @gmail.com But the company not replied and also not attended my request to change the filter under warranty

                                        This is really pathetic to waste time on such poor customer service of kent. The auro purifier had stopped working some days ago. The person came and changed the us membrane and charged rs 600 (My mother in law was unaware of the warranty). When called the customer service about the return as the us membrane has 1 year warranty, the area manager lady talked so badly and refused to return the charges. Further she added that the warranty will anyways be expiring in next month. What kind of service is this. I ll recommend all the buyers that do not go for kent in any case. Request to return the charges asap.
