We have purchased kent grand plus mineral water purifier on 24th feb 2018. But the product was damaged. (Purifier kit cover was broken.) one of the kent service centre person came to install the purifier. That time he checked the product and promised that, he will replace it within 15 days. But today that person called me and behaving very rude with customer. And telling do whatever you want i don't want to replace it. This is how kent authorised service person is talking and behaving with us.

    Warranty violation by kent

    Kent refused to service a kent water softener under warranty.
    A service request was raised on 23rd feb 2018.
    After multiple calls to the service center no one came for service.
    And today, on 3rd march 2018 the service request was canceled.

    So i was forced to visit the nearest kent office i. E at marathalli
    To inquire the matter and purchase a pack of salt needed for recharging the softener.
    They agreed to service my softener for rs 1100 before i told them it's under warranty and about the service request.
    But asked me to go the the kent head office in mg road after i told them about the warranty and service request.
    They also tried to sell me a pack of only nine salt packets for the price of ten.
    Not to mansion their rude behavior, kent has not taken any step for this issue.
    I regret purchasing a kent product. Kent lies about the warranty, you pay for.

      I taken amc from kent ro system for two years but in the mean time i shifted from lucknow ti ranchi and application for reversal of one year amc on 24.12 17 so that i taken amc in ranchi. But since long time reversal not done. And also service of kent ro is very poor. No response and also abide my call and my one year subscription is not refund so that i am not able to take 2nd year amc in ranchi

        I have been very dissatisfied with kent's support and service and would not ever recommend the product to anyone and will make sure that every person i know finds out the trouble i have been through and buying this product now seems like a big mistake. I will save you sometime and brief everything in the email so you don't have to go through the email trail i have been going through. I used my kent ro for 3 years without any trouble and one day it needed the filter change so i called kent support and asked for filter replacement next day filters were replaced i paid 4000 rs and product started working in 2 and half months product stopped working because it started leaking in the housing since filters were replaced. Filters, membrane and other parts had mist and water droplets on them i called kent support and briefed them about the issue they wanted to charge me for visit and for parts that may have been faulty even though it was their fault after several calls and emails they agreed to wave off visit charges and it was found out smps was dead which would be obvious due to water leakage i was told that everything was ok and there is no other issue i asked technician to check for loose connections or something to find out the cause of leakage he assured they were fine and it would not leak again i had to pay another 935 rs for smps which despite of being kent's fault i paid. Now today it has not even been 1 month and my product has leakage in the housing with water drops and has stopped working and now it just got on my nerves i feel kent does this on purpose so they could make extra money from their existing customers. I have already raised a complaint against you with national consumer affairs with docket number 583189 and i am ready to take you guys to consumer court as no customer has to go through so much pain and trouble.

        Got a call from the kent team they visited and said my pump was faulty and the sediment filter was choked which was replaced in Oct 2017 and had a 3 month warranty. i raised a complaint on 27 Dec(within warranty) of RO not working sadly the lady on call has no record of that complaint as they can not see the complaints made via email. so there is no sync between phone support and email support if you raise ticket with one team others would have no clue or record of the same. so as per her there was no complaint in December and did not consider my email complaint. all these problems started after official filter change from kent now almost every part of my RO has been asked to replace (asked to replace pump and sediment filter) SMPS already changed. I think this is how they make money from their customers. Please go through the below email thread on which they have stopped replying they do not even consider replying to the emails or complaints anymore.

          On 23rd feb 2018 @ 2.24pm, i called kent ro @ [protected] regarding a not working kent ro. After discussion the with customer care guy, he told that i will be getting one sms/otp from their end on registered mobile number, nothing came untill 3:00pm and suddenly i received a call from a number [protected] and he told me that he is from kent and he got my details from their ho.
          So now the catch is, even the complaint is not processed by their customer service department and i, who doesn't have the registered mobile number getting call from kent!!!
          Seems, the customer care department guy has shared my details with his friend who might working in some service company of ro.

            From last 2 days i am calling aqua world bangalore to fix the kent to pearl which i have and not functioning well. The lady on the phone talking very rudely and doesn't know how to talk to customer. Don't know why kent has given them agency to provide services if the are lacking in basic ateiquete.
            I am calling them frequently to address the issue and they keep on telling today/tomorrow and so far the issue is not resolved. When i have asked when the person will come then lady on phone told that when they are free they will look into it. There is no confirmation as well when the technician will come and fix it. Very poor service from kent and aqua world bangalore

              Hi,

              I had registered for Annual maintenance contract with Kent by paying approx Rs.11000. but so far i have not received any service from Kent Purifier team and now your team is claiming the contract is lapsed and people have visited my home and did the service. while i'm asking for proof of service, your customer care team sharing some unknown contact number.

              i'm afraid your service team is misreporting about servicing the annual contract customer and giving some fake numbers to you for closing the service sheets.

              Pls check the above and arrange for service of my water purifier. if not please arrange for refund on my annual contract amount taken for this maintaince.

                I have taken an amc from kent ro by paying the 1500 rs. They told me that every part and service charges are covered in this amc. Now one part of purifier specifically filter has not working properly. When i called to service centre, engineer came and he said that filter is not covered under amc which is very shocking. They never told that few parts are not covered under amc. This is cheating. Kindly help me to get it resolved

                Who said that it is resolved. It's still the same
                After denying for service engineer still came to home in my absence and take signature of my spouse on some documents where he wrote that term and condition was told to customer and purifier is working properly and only service is required while this is not the case. When I took the AMC customer care told me that everything is covered under AMC but now filter needs to replace so they are making excuses which is cheating. Kindly help to take action against them.
                Today At the time of new installation,
                It is new machine so why he Kent person opens the machine and he did some changes with making some wire cut and change in wire connection into the machine in the electric circuit while I had not any issue in machine.

                  I am very much upset with kent ro purifier, within 1 yr. Of service duration i called the ro technician 12-13 times. I have paid rs 4000 till now because all its parts are getting faulty and now the technician told me to get ro membrane replaced which is worth rs 2500, this is too much more than the cost of ro purifier.
                  Please help they are making us fool.

                    I just purchased a kent perl 11 months back. Since the taste of the water was not good, i called up the customer care and asked for a free service and its free for 1 year since purchase.

                    The technician came home and checked the filter and told that the filter are gone so u are not getting a good taste. The filter should be replaced.

                    He made me afraid that if i dont get them replaced now, even the ro filters will get damaged and that will cost me more.

                    This machine is not even 1 year old, out of which i did not use them 4 months as i was out of station.
                    I finally got them changed by paying 1500. But then i found that he had to just adjust the tds level and things should have been working fine.

                    These people just lie to customers and get the things done. Kent service is going pathetic espicially the technicians who come home for service.

                        I have lot of trust on kent purifiers earlier day by day i am losing that confident on kent service.
                        In one year i spend almost rs 10000/- for servicing alone… last oct-2017, kent company sent zaid enterprise technician come and charged me rs 4000/- + service charges and told me that next 1 year no need to look on the purified and in case any problems they will take care…. Again on 7-feb, within in 4 months kent purifier started leaking water from ro … i called zaid enterprises as per their guarantee on product for one year.. 8-feb evening technician came and said that ro part is problem need to change again and this time again they charged rs 3800/- bill attached … please go through where as kent ro with 100gpd we get in market only for rs 2000/-… same day on 8-feb night again it started leaking …. I called up soni (Zaid enterprise call operator) and my. Ajay the technician from zaid… he said he will be visiting my home by 10am in the morning. 9-feb i called more than 20 times to ajay and 10 times to zaid enterprise on[protected] no response i called on[protected] after 3 times. Finally soni picked up the call and said she will sent her technician again… i skipped my office for this # and finally he reached at my home 5pm and mr. Ajay and soni were fighting at my home instead for repairing the kent…. He did temporary fix and left home. 10-feb morning completely kent stopped working …. I called around 20 times to zaid enterprise number and including landline no response from them.. I called kent service number 91-[protected] and try to give complaint on zaid enterprise but no luck…. Interstingly every time zaid enteprises technician charges 200/- visiting charges and tells if we haven't give that cost zaid enterprises (Soni) will reduce visitng chages from technician salary which is not good thing.
                        If anyone seeing this complaint please let me know kent higher management email id or contact number. I am not understanding after these many complaints also why kent not taking serious action on zaid enterprises team. Here is the new complaint request number which i raised again with kent[protected].

                        Zaid Enterprise person came last Friday and fixed the problem...

                          After the assurance of executive from your company, i have covered my ro under your amc scheme on 27.01.2018 under invoice number 8001. Due to the negligence of the executive some fault was unattended by him and i requested the customer care more than ten times to fix the problem which is their duty as per amc, but a deaf ear has been turned to my request. I advice all the customers of kent not to accept the services of the said company under amc. They purely cheat the people and no attention is given to the problems of the people under amc services.

                            Kent maxx - water purifier with detachable storage tank and double purification o[censored]v+uf

                            Waste product..
                            Every 4 months we need to replace the filter, battery etc. Also every time these accessories cost, you will be hear different from service engineer, and from their customer office..

                            Every service visit they will make some problem in equipment and so we need to again pay money.
                            It will be better to donate money in template instead of giving to this company.

                            My suggestion, donot go for this company water purifiers.

                              I have already informed kent regarding the delivery of a defective product. I have posted a complaint in this forum a few days back for the same. But there is no proper response from kent in spite of multiple emails. I have bought this water purifier since we had health issues due to water problems. I have shelled out 17000 for this purifier, but its of no use as it is a defective product. Kent has to understand the seriousness of the customer problems and reason for buying ro water purifiers.

                                I had purchased your water purifier product 4-5 months back. It is not working from past 2-3 weeks, your technician has visited twice and a third visit was supposed to happen yesterday but no one showed up. Is there someone who understands this??? The customer support people definitely don't understand when i call them. I want the product to be checked and repaired thoroughly. This is the reference number[protected].                                 This is the 3rd time the storage tank got cracked.
                                Every time this servicing team is taking more than 15 days to replace the same & not resolving the actual issue of installation.
                                When I have raised the complaint this time they are cancelling the request without resolving the issue

                                  This problem we persist every time. When ever we raise any service request and your customer representative ask about visit time we clearly mention them to send the representative by 11:30 am as after that no one is there. At my place but every time the representative comes in the afternoon and tell us to come at home which is not possible for us. And when we request him to come in the time he bluntly says no and tell us that i will not come and i can come only at his time and the manner he speaks is also very arrogant. I think kent employees such type of people. And also he don't know how to speak to a lady. Earlier also i have complained about this and i was given assured that such type of incident will not happen, but all in vain. Now he has closed the case also without completing our request. His name is sunil and his number is [protected]. Hope you really care for your customer and will take action this.

                                  Today I got a call from Sunil and he started to ask me why I raised the complain in a harsh and loud voice above all he handed over the phone to his superior who also spoke very rudely saying why I raised the complaint saying that they were sending there representative today. But I said that the complaint was raised on Monday and not today which I said to read properly and react. He also said that you tell my company name and he will raise a behavioral related complain there. Now I feel that raising a complaint is not possible for us a s such type of threatening we are getting .I expected the manager will solve this but he also reacted very badly.

                                  Now what happened is that after raising my complaint I got a call on Wednesday from a lady saying that she will be sending the engineer but I said do not send as no body will be there please if you are sending then send in the morning and on Saturday as we are not there. But on Thursday morning that is today morning I got a call from a engineer sir can I come I mentioned the above thing and said please come on Saturday. he agreed. Again around 10 am I got again call asking that sir if I have said the engineer to come on Saturday for which I said yes and the person took his engineer on conceal and confirmed and said to him that without fail please visit on Saturday by 11 am and we all agreed .
                                  And again at 11 30 I got a call from sunil and all above incident happened.

                                  So just want to know is it not right for raise a complaint or we have to first get confirmation from the person with whom we had complain and raise. And I thing that whenever such things happen the Manger is the person who sort this politely but here its all opposite.

                                  Now really we are worried and expect a proper response and solution for this

                                  Please take this matter seriously and resolve

                                    I have taken amc plan for kent ro water purifier. I raised a request to change the external filter. Got call from srinivava service that they are sending guy to change it. I waited whole day cancelling all my personal work.in the evening when i contacted, the guy threatened me to come and thrash me and family. This is very pathetic experience and now i have no faith and satisfaction in it. I will never opt for this. You shouldn't talk to customers like this.

                                      Our purifier is not working and we compalint in kent ro, then a service executive came and we purchased amc on his suggestion. He had changed few parts and taken 6500 rs. As amc charge.
                                      From that day, after 24 to 36 hours it stopped working, every time any engineer came and do something, but it never work more than 1 day.
                                      If this is the service after amc charges then how can someone trust on big brand like kent. We can never recommend kent to any one.
