I am fed up with the kent ro services and quality of the parts and products their offerings... I have invested almost 2-3x money of the product cost in just 2 years time... Also every 2 months i need to spend approx 3-4k for part replacements. Had escalated this issue with their official channel but no relief. Would not advise anyone to go for this brand.

    Hi, my kent ro started to alarm on 28th sept 2017 and i've called the sticker pasted my kent maxx product with the service provider name hima inc with two numbers of which one was not working and other number [protected], a person responded assuring me that he would come by evening. I requested him keeping in mind the dasara holidays. But he didnt turn up and i managed till today (3-oct-2017) and called the same number [protected]. Today (3-oct-2017) he conveniently advices me to call [protected]. Now when i called this number [protected], he says there was no request raised and he can try to send by tomorrow only. When you cant have a person responsibly to take care of customer calls then why do you paste those stickers on the product and misguide the customers. This is not the first time, whenever i've some service issues, reaching out to kent service is a mess.

      Dear sir,
      Regarding the above subject, i would like to inform you that i had purchased kent ro, last year, on 29.06.2016 thru' your service representative mr. Mohapatro. i attach herewith a snapshot of the receipt.
      The next day the service engineer installed the machine, but i was unaware of the service contract that i was entitled to a free service for a year. this year on the 20/01/2017 the engineer serviced the kent ro after a gap of 6 months. i attach herewith a snapshot of the service card. i thought the service engineer (Mr. Bholanath) would function twice, after three months, until the end of the contract period, i. E., on 30.06.2017. he appeared on 01.07.2017, after the duration of the contract, asking us to renew. when i informed him that you did not service our kent ro for a long time, he replied that i do not have to place a call and that he will make his arrangements.
      I sincerely regret this system where we have to place a call for service. earlier, i had a eureka forbes where we would not place a call; the engineer would come for the service. i also had an electric chimney where the office madam would call before the service for our presence at the residence. are your service staff always bustling in their busy schedule?
      Your staff did not service kent ro for around eight months which is terrible for us to consume stagnant water. after two free services, i shall renew our contract once again. Kindly look into this matter, and i apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

        Hi kent service center,

        I have purchased kent grand + approx 7 months before and in last week see the water flow got very slow in and out from machine.

        I lodge a complaint and from kent got one engineer visit to my place in dombivli. He was drunk and smelling and he opened the complete machine and cleaned all filters saying either it is gone damaged due to tanker water supply or need to check further.

        He said kent company intentionally don't provide external filter so as to get the inside filter damaged soon and customer have to bear it purchasing new even in warranty period.

        This was shocking to hear. I feel bad that i trusted kent. Will suggest all don't go for this ro.

        Please forward this message to higher officials asap before i lodge a police complain for the engineer drunken visit as well.

        Don't purchase KENT RO PLEASE. Their Customer Support Officers are nutcase saying something and do nothing. Preeti from their chat support said she lodged a complaint and other executive said your service is done.

        My KENT machine vibrates and water flow is very slow now. Engineer visits in drunken position. This is nonsense.

        The Engineer visited my place and saying need to change carbon for filter which costs 1000 rupees but not sure if with problem will get solve with that or not.

        He is bombarding for the complain i did that he came drunk yesterday at my house for service and check water flow issue.

        This is really ridiculous and now i will move to district consumer forum this Saturday to take this matter in person.

        Had word with some service center head person and the way he talks shouting on me was hilarirous. Let me move now to real consumer forum to make sure KENT provides better service with better people.

        If till tommorow i dont get different engineer visited directly from Kent. Dont want anyone from same distributor. They dont know how to talk.

        All please dont take KENT RO again suggesting. This people just do business. Will crack all in consumer forum.

        Still the engineer is not visiting my place. This is really freak service from KENT. Please don't purchase KENT RO their service is really worst then one can predict atleast in Dombivli Are of (Thane District) Maharashtra.

        I will keep posting till the engineer visits and will try to reach their CEO or directors on this. They should take it seriously.
        We have installed one kent ro in last June 2017, but after repeated request for service the kolkata based service centre named YES BOSS not responding to our complaints, and we are facing tremendous problem of Drinking water for last 03 months, Please look after the matter seriously and the Receptionist of YES BOSS misbehaved with us .

        The Same happened with me. This KENT service center people are really arrogant. You can see my complain above. Now just waiting to see how this KENT company deal with my problem and till when?. They need to get a nice slap from consumer forum. I am going to launch a physical complain at district forum at my area may be soon regarding the same.

        Please advise others not to go for KENT RO product.

            I have register a compliant on friday. And balakrishna with mobile number [protected] was assigned. But this guy is not coming to my home, not pick my call and he didn't call me till now. Its already 72 hours completed.

            When i called to customer care, they are telling they are going to assign some other guy to fix this problem and that to i have to wait for next 24 hours. What is this? Who is responsible for this?

            Please escalate it to next lever and fix my issue at the earliest.

            one engineer came to my home and fixed the issue and again new issue now. not filtering properly . though out the night 1/4 of the water only filtering that to water is little warm inside. don't no what is the issue. i raised new request but till now the engineer not visited my place. please give some good service and send some expert to my place to fix it permanently.

              I had purchased kent ace 7 ltrs in feb this year (2017).
              In the month of march 2017 the tank of the filter was not filling, lodged a complaint and got the filter cleaned.
              Same issue popped up on 23rd sep 2017, the tank was not filling. The service engineer says that the filter is to be replaced and he is charging rs. 1000 for the filter while the device is under 1 year warranty.
              Why should the customer pay during warranty...

              And how does the filter become faulty in just 6-8 months???

                Hi,

                I got my kent pearl water purifier serviced on 26.07.2017 which includes changing all water filters. It is done by aqua world, bangalore. They charged me rs.2900/- for the entire activity. However a couple of days back my water purifier stopped functioning due to some electricity issue. I called kent service customer care and they send me someone from dynamic ro services, bangalore. The service person came and told me that the filters which have been provided not even 2months back are manufactured in 2016 (Old stock) or are used filters!! Hence i need to change the filters again!! The water quality that we have consumed (Including my 3mths old daughter) for the last 2months is of very bad quality!! I was shocked to hear that and am really worried of the fraudulent activities that this people are doing!!
                I am attaching my bills for your reference. Nothing can compensate the health hazard that has occurred due to this highly fraudulent activity by you people. However i demand a compensation and an apology from your highest management for this completely unethical and unjustified incident.
                Hope to hear from you. Else i will be going for next level of activity in consumer court.

                  My kent ro stopped working. Since it is in warranty so i asked dealer to check it. But he is constantly avoiding my request and not checking it. Everytime i call him he makes new excuse like, all my technicians are not at shop, it is too much traffic on the road. It seems i am trapped. Please help me.

                    Hello,
                    Please go throught the attachments.
                    On 22nd sep 17 friday i got a call from kent (The same girl voice) asking to provide the last free service within warranty.
                    So, i agreed to take the one. Withing few hour the person in attachment 5 (Ph. [protected], he is the friend of the person who have installed the ro) came to my house. My senior citizen father and mother was at home. Immediate after he came to my house he started to check the water and reported that ppm is as high as 300+ and should replace the carbon filter (Which was replaced 2 month back, please see attachment 3), should replace the ro filter (Which is within the warranty but he asked for money) and sediment filter. He asked for total 3500 for that and so my parents denied to pay after asking me over phone. I have a ppm testing meter and so when i came back home i checked the ppm and it was only 105 (As it was at installatiom time).

                    This is the 3rd time the sun services tried to cheat us. Even on[protected] they have charged me rs. 5500/- to repair the product telling no matter what is written in the warranty card the warranty is for only 6 month even for the electronic parts. So i contacted kent via chat and confirmed that the warranty is for 1 year and they have no right to charge any. So after putting pressure and showing the chat they replaced the motor with a very old one telling they provide the new once it is available with them but till date no replacement.

                    So now my point is that when a service center is constantly trying to cheat your customer then why are not you taking any action against them but allowing them to cheat others?

                    If there is any problem with the ro membrane then kent should replace it as it is still under 1 year warranty.

                    Also sending fraud people at home when my age old parents are alone at home is a security matter too.

                      I would like to lodge a complaint against your authorised dealers, rs enterprises, kukatpally. They are engaging technically ill-knowledged personnel as their service technicians. The owner or in-charge, harish reddy is very arrogant in his communication.
                      I bought kent grand plus in year 2012. Since then i have been changing the filters every year. Since 2 years, my service calls are being attended by rs enterprises technicians. I got my kent ro reinstalled at my mother's flat (#307) by this guy and subsequently got the filters changed. The very next day, the tank over-flew and the plug got burnt. I got this fixed by the same kittu. Expected that it was fixed. As my mother could not move into her flat #307 till august 17th, we did not know the condition of our kent ro till then. The tank over-flew again. I tried calling rs enterprises office at kukatpally. Out of the 2 numbers in the bill given, one was not being answered, the other number was out of order. I had to register another complaint. But this time i chose ro care, gurgaon. One guy named jeevan visited on 25th august, saw the machine, and said it was perfect. I paid him 300/-. Now the tank again over-flew on 21st of september, and unmindful of this my mother slipped and fell on the floor. She was hurt. Seemingly frustrated, i called that jeevan guy, he said it was messed up by rs enterprises technician, kittu and i should call him. I called kittu, he came and said there was no problem with the machine. I yelled at him as it was the 3rd time the problem cropped up. I told him to bring a senior technician and get it fixed. He asked me to register a complaint for that. I registered again, and one dileep kumar visited and eventually it was found out that the censor was gone. He fixed it. Again i had to pay rs.300 towards service charges. The number given on this bill of yesterday (21st sept) is different. Hence i called to claim that this service should not be charged as the problem is not being fixed since july, 2017. The owner harish reddy talked very arrogantly and insisted on paying service charges as per his company policy.
                      I clearly see only a stupid company policy, but no one cares how the customer is being looted at the cost of inefficient service technicians!!!
                      For the same problem i paid the service charges twice because of the technician's incompetence.

                        I purchased kent ro for 18000/-rs just completed 1year, 2days back water leakage problem came, kent engineers attended the issue, asking 3500rs for spare change, assembled water purifier available in market for 6000rs whole unit, but i thought kent product run atleast 3yrs, thats why spent 18000/- rs for that, i never suggest to buy kent products, better go for local water purifiers.

                            Kent service is the worst of services provided to customers. They are the most unprofessional and do misbehaviour towards customers and do not cater to any of the customer concerns/requests.

                            I raised a service request for sunday (17th sept 2017), on a urgent priority basis.
                            The service center name "alex home appliances" sends technicians.
                            Have number of complaints against the center :
                            1. Their technicians are completely unprofessional and have no manners at all. They have inconsistency in the words of each technician they send. Last month 28th of aug, 2017, another technician from the same center had come and informed us that if the next service is within 30 days, then the service charge would be waived off. I tried to clarify the same on calling the center office. The person in charge started misbehaving and using abusive language with me (To a lady customer) and ordered the technician not to do any work and leave.
                            2. Later all though i agreed to pay the service charge (Which i was not supposed to) still he instructed the technician to leave without doing any work.
                            3. The person started threatening me in regional language mentioning "do anything you want to, complain anywhere, i will not allow my person to work".
                            4. After which, moreover, the technician who was at my place, started misbehaving with me (To a lady customer alone at home) and left shouting.
                            5. Moreover they have such bad technicians that they do service in such a way that everymonth i am having to raise a servcie complaint.

                            On taking this up to the kent service call center and higher authorities, still no action was taken.
                            Kent being a basic necessity of water being not available, such issues needs to be addressed on priority basis. But no action is being taken and i am being continuously told you arrange for other ways of water, they will look into it later.

                            The most un-ethical behaviour received. Without any co-operation and being insulted and utter misbehaviour of the center.
                            I would urnestly request a strict action against the service center "alex home appliances" on priority.

                              I bought this product 3 months back with 1 year warranty (Serial number: kr[protected]). The filtering is not at all consistent and it has totally stopped now. After several complaints an engineer visited the spot and refused to do warranty service. Repeated calls to the customer care +91-[protected] has resulted in only false promises to resolve the issue.

                              I've decided to approach the consumer court to log a complain against the company. Please all who are facing with this issue can join me. The kind of service provided by kent is pathetic and i do not recommend anyone to go with their products.

                              Every time a complaint waslogged, the job was assigned to an incorrect technician in some other service area. Hence the technician always denied the service and the issue was never resolved. After notifying in this website, the issue is resolved by assigning to the correct technician. Please fix the job assignment process in the Kent system to avoid such issues again in the future.

                                We have purchased kent ro with the information given to us that yearly total maint cost will be around rs. 3000/-.
                                But facts are quite different. I never imagined kent product is so bad that i have to spent around rs 8000/- in just 6.0 months and there is no warranty for a single day after repair.
                                Rs. 3000/- paid in nov-2016 for repair contract including pre-filter cartridge.
                                Rs. 1000/- feb-2017 (Minimum cost for repair).
                                Rs. 4000/- (Estimated minimum repair cost for replacement of membrane & some electrical part) in may – 2017
                                Which means in six months we have to spend about rs. 8000/- for repair only.
                                Sent 12 reminders regarding the product but no proper reply.

                                  I had bought a water purifier (Green one) costing rs 7400 just 1-1/2 years back.
                                  I had bought an amc also but whenever i face and issue and call your engineer. He asks us to change some component and charge rs 1000 on an average.
                                  We have spent almost 4000 in the last 1-1/2 years plus the amc charges rs.900. I is quite disappointing that when we go to buy the product.. It is said that it will not cost you more than 1000 per year maintenance. Kindly look into this and advice.. I am quite upset with the behaviour and the product.

                                    Have been using this water purifier from close to 7 years now. Till now whenever there was need for service, i used to call one of the franchise and get it paid service. Last time (Mar 2017) i happen to opt for amc and paid 8, 500 inclusive of my regular replacement along with amc for one year with one of kent franchise - water world.

                                    Now, it was almost 6 mos, i called several times to get it serviced but till now no one has attended. Everytime i hear, the technician is on the way or near my place; but hasn't turned up nor i received any update call.

                                    I used to call @[protected] and after multiple calls, was able to talk to one lady & she used to give me false assurance stating the above (Technician is on his way)

                                    Last friday dated 8th sep 2017; i called the above no. & booked for service for saturday (9th sep). Again, yesterday i kept on calling multiple times; but was getting the same idiotic response

                                    Details of this kent franchise i have attached the invoice copy which i had paid earlier. Hence, i request all of you not to go for this franchise even though if they offer free service

                                        They are biggest frauds of kent service. They gave me amc on 4/1/2017 for 6500/- promising for all parts. Initial they came for 2 times and replaced all my original parts with duplicate. Ro started giving problem since then. The stopped taking my calls. Called 30 times in a day. The never picked up. One fine day they just picked up and said " we dont have time to send our person". What a sluggish response. I had spent more than 10000 on repairs where i could have spent only 0 since i took the amc. But these frauds and # have no courtesy to come and repair it. They took away all the original parts and put the duplicate ones and never showed up again to repair. I literally want to file a legal case against them. I am planning to go there and make a video of all of them and put on net, facebook and media. Big frauds thy are.
