I purchased kent ultra storage uv water purifier on 30.05.17 as per the attached tax invoice. Kent service centre person installed this water purifier with a duplicate pre-filter at the cost of inr 1200 saying that it is original kent pre-filter, as per the attached service request activity report as proof. I have informed about the duplicate pre-filter to kent service centre (Pune & pcmc) but still no action is taken on this issue. I request you to kindly replace the duplicate pre-filter with original kent pre-filter on urgent basis at the same cost. Please find the attached documents as proof. Also if possible kindly take strict action against the people who are installing such duplicate pre-filter in place of original kent pre-filter at the same cost.

    Hi, i have the worst experience with kent ro service. I don't have words to express that.in brief, i have a problem with purifier. I called to kent service on may 29, i told the new address, but they registered for old address. After 2 days they called me when i was in office. I said i will be available till 11 am or after 8 pm. They said they would come at 10 am next day, but they did not come. They called again next day afternoon, i said the same. They said the same. But the same. They did not come and called next day afternoon, i said i will not be available during friday to sunday. They cancelled the ticket. I called and registerd a new complaint they said it will be done. When i called to engineer next day he said he is at different location. He dont come. And the next day i got sms saying the ticket canclled. I called to customer care, they said the ticket closed because i have postponed service repeatedly. I had a serious discussion with the call center people, she forwarded my call to a serious team member. I had a long discussion with her, she said she had a discussion with the area manager, and it will be addressed by next day morning. But there is no response. I had to call call center and again register new complaint ([protected]). I got sms with the engineer details. He said, he is in leave, will come tommorrow. I don't know howmany days i still need to wait for the service. Really got irritated with the kind of service they are providing. I did another mistake purchasing another kent product for my parents who stay at another location. I learnt lession for doing that mistake. If the company really takes care and consider highest priority for customer service, the servicinng people or third parties do not neglect the customers like this. If possible please take action on this. Thank you.

    This not an exception case where it happened to be one out of 1000 cases. It is happening to most of the requests . The request which I raised for the installation of second product also got cancelled after 3 days saying the customer postponed. But he did not contact us.

      Serviced by:mr. Kunwar. Behavior very rude. He said that some part is to be changed as water was not filtering through. We asked him to clean the filters which he did after much persuation and request. And then water started flowing and our problem was resolved. Please check the same.

        Mr. Shasi kent ro mechanic came to my friends house for repairing ro supply, but his moto to theft some items from home while friendly talking, he has theft a music speaker system.

        He told, i can repair this, give to me, after giving, he switch off his mobile, & not respond his number, after giving him threat over phone, he switch off his number,[protected], his name is shahsi from bihar, doing job in some kent ro workshop, so pls lodge a file against him.

        This can be happen to anyone, may crime increase.

          Mrp 17000 product's service cost with in 1 year 1 month is 6000. Comparative to others it is more costly so i have doubt in their commitment. Simply they are telling to change all and charging more. How can i believe? Last day main filter burst. Useless warning system.. I think they are cheating customers. I spent rs3750 to change all yesterday. I don't know how these filters blocked with pre filter. So what is the role of pre filter. I changed prefilter with in 2 months.             Kent order # [protected]. I did hear from my colleagues that kent cheats when it comes to maintenance. They wait for 6 months and then later they will ask to change parts. Same with me, 6 months over and now the maintenance guy has asked to change both carbon filter. This is cheap trick from kent. Req took more than 2 days, req #[protected]. Two filters cost 1000 and has asked one additional filter to be installed outside for another 1200. M sure this way within next six months i will be charged another 12k.

              Hello,
              This is towards harassment caused to me by kent ro systems ltd. For the product "kent perl" ro water filter.
              Also the negligence on part of the above said company.

              I have received the confirmation from the company that service person will come to my house by 6:30pm.
              Please find the attached voice calls which confirm the same. Phone number in file name.
              1. Here they do not give time to return home from office. They call at very short notice.
              2. They also give false reasons to their benefit.

              I came from office in time. I need to travel nearly 30 kms in bangalore traffic from north to south.
              I do not see any one and no service person turns up.
              Also when i call back the same number, phone is not picked up.

              1. Kent people communicating via chat through android phone app, do not call the customer to know the issue in detail.
              2. They do not refer to entire communication done with them and mostly intentionally ask customer to repeat the issue many times.
              3. They use words like "shortly", and say you will receive call "shortly". Even after 2 hours there is no call from them.
              4. They do not check back if customer received the call back even after he has complained.

              I had leave from so far office leaving my important work, and reach home to this service.
              If service happens i have to pay for it, it is not free.
              They do not even tell, if the service person will not come today?, why he is not picking up the call?, why he did not turn up?, when i will receive the call?.

              I will forward this complaint to further concerned people in department related consumer justice who will help in this regard.

              Tuesday 6th June 2017:
              Hello,
              TODAY THE SAME THING REPEATED AGAIN!! Even after so much communication. First I get confirmation from KENT that person will come and you be at home at 7pm. Then I only call make call and he says another half an hour. Then I keep calling and there is no picking up my call on other side.
              How I got the confirmation today:
              1. I got email from KENT saying my complaint number is[protected]. Some one will call me. 2pm today.
              2. The service person calls me.
              a. I ask his name, he is reluctant to tell his name.
              b. Again he asks can I come now only. Assuming we will be ready at next instant.
              c. I ask him what happened yesterday, he cuts the phone.
              d. I call back there is no pick up.
              3. Then I call KENT customer care “+[protected]”. This number they sent me in mail.
              a. I explain them above scene.
              b. They confirm that today service will happen.
              c. They assure that today 7pm or later service will happen.
              d. I request the call me 7pm onwards and check that the person visits to my place. They agree.
              4. Then I got the call from service person.
              a. I told him 7 pm onwards you can come. He agrees.
              b. I also tell him the issue (which I told yesterday also), that due to overflow he has to get float switch ready.
              Same story repeats today:
              1. Evening 7 pm I call service person[protected].
              a. I ask him when he is coming. He says I will call you.
              b. I ask approximate time? He says half an hour.
              2. I email KENT at 7:45pm explaining same, they do not get back.
              3. I call the same person at 8pm and then at 8:30 pm. He does NOT pick up the call!!
              4. I report to KENT over e-mail. They do not get back!

              You have confirmed today that you repeatedly do negligence and harass your customers.
              I am assuming above is intentional as even after so much communication same thing is repeating.
              Also even after so many mails and complaint, there was NOT a single call from KENT to me checking the status. Even after my request today to call back and check.

              In my opinion:
              1. You are NOT honoring your commitment of resolving issue in 48 hours.
              2. Repeatedly doing negligence as explained above.
              3. You are NOT honoring law and order system as you are repeating same harassment to customer again and again, even if the case is filed with consumer court of govt India.
              4. You are signaling to people of India, in general, through this forum, that you can easily breach your commitment to customer. You can be easily negligent to customer and do NOT care for his harassment due to behavior on your part.
              I WANT TO REQUEST LEGAL ASSISTANCE FROM CONSUMER FORUM TO FILE THIS CASE AND TAKE IT TO JUSTICE!

              After above complaint, they came next day and serviced the product.
              1. Total INR 2650/- . INR 250 for float sensor, INR 350 for service charges, rest for all filters except RO membrane.
              2. The TDS control of this product is not automatic you many consumers perceive it as per advertisement. There is internal valve which needs to be adjusted with screw driver. There is creep in TDS of water after adjustment. When the service person did it it was near 100 (for input TDS of 200) and he said it will settle later. He did not have time to wait for it. The 3rd day the TDS is around 18 for input TDS of 190. If you do not have TDS meter, you will feel water is tasting so good but you will be dangerously consuming low TDS water. These thing s are unfortunately so tough to fix in India!

              Anyways I needed to update that service part they did, fixed and overflow issue and went.

                I have purchased a Kent RO Water Filter in 2014 and from that time I have had to spend at the rate of approx Rs.2000/- every year as a result of breakdown of some component or the other.

                Some electronic components have been replaced several times along with other components.

                I am beginning to believe that the design as well as quality of components are inferior which is leading to frequent breakdowns. Since this water filter has been designed for use in Indian conditions, surely the environmental inputs such as power quality, water quality etc must have been taken into account while developing this product. If so, why is the customer having to shell out such a lot of money after buying, a product that is claimed to be of excellent quality?

                Any advice as to how we can approach manufacturer to replace all weak and sub standard components?

                Also, can they be forced to transparent on how much a customer may be expected to pay every year after the purchase as expected breakdown and running costs?

                With the total information of this nature, a customer can make an informed decision as to which brand to go for.

                  I bought a kent grand serial no. Kr[protected] mfg on[protected] purchased on from juneja electronics add:126a kalani bagh, ab road dewas (M. P.) bill no. 1012 on date[protected]at 10:30 a. M.
                  I brought this product and it was assured to me that this will be installed with in a time duration of 7 hrs but this water purifier in still not installed.
                  And today a call came to us on 11:33 a. M. Contact no. [protected] kent ro technichian - vivek said "i will come within 30 min. And asked about the address.
                  Then after 30 min when called back he denied by making fake excuses.
                  So thats why i would like to refund your product immediately as this company is a leading brand in india for water purifier but your service is very poor

                    I am using kent excel for 7 years. 1st three years product was very good. But last 3 years iam spending upward of 10000 per year on replacement parts. The durability of parts supplied is so poor that it requires replacement almost every year including motors.
                    Service partners are minting money on service and replacement which is bad in long run of company. Very customer unfriendly service model. Start a service partner rating if kent wants to check on unneccessary or lousy repairs which means frequent problems. E.g. i spent 5000 on replacement parts bcoz there was a leakage last month now again there is a leakage and solution is to replace motor. Wow.

                      We purchased kent supreme ro water purifier on 03/02/2017, but from 28/05/2017 on wards the machine is not working for which we had given online complaint. Today one technician came to my house and his behaviour is ridiculous and worst. As being a reputed company this is not the way to serve the customers in a bad and worst.

                      From 3 days onwards there is no drinking water in myhouse why should we suffer by purchasing your kent mechine. So we will go for forum case because here after words no other customer should suffer like this & we request you not to suffer the people by customer against the complaints.

                      So finally i request you totally back the machine and reimburse my amount.

                        I had purchased Kent water purifier three years back. Initial few month there was frequent repairs and had to spend heavily on getting it repaired. After that it worked well for one and half year and again started giving problem. Engineer from the company who attended to it is saying that the entire filter need to be changed which would cost Rs.3800/- which means that nearly 50 % is a maintenance cost for three years. I have not seen any product where the maintenance cost is 50 % of the price in first three years which is ridiculous. I get a doubt on the product quality now.

                          Your technician called up said he is calling frm kent and your machine is due for servicing so he came and change d ro and som parts and gave bill of 3500. And after tow days machine is dead.. I called him so many time but he is just govind reasons for two days and after dat he wz nt picking my cal too. Even he blocked my no. When called up on customer care they said they hav not send any technician. And when send new technician he said parts which is changed is used parts. Plz kindly take action and refund my money.. Dis is thing happened wid so many people. Its big racket.

                            I has exchanged my previous model of the Kent RO for a newer model Kent Pride in January 2016. At the time of purchase, I was told that there would be two free services during the year and all parts would be replaceable within the warranty period of 1 year. Unlike earlier, the dealer does not follow up on servicing (since it is free and there's nothing in it for him), and says it's the responsibility of the customer to call them (the customer usually calls only if there is a problem, in my experience).

                            Now, the machine is 1 and a half years old and I called the service center to report a leak. The technician on arrival discovered a leak in the pump and I have replace it at a cost of Rs.2, 795 (incl. service charge of Rs.385). The reason for the leak - the filters are clogged, due to which the pump gets dry causing it to rust!! (This would not have been the case if the free service has been done by the dealer).

                            I would like to mention that the previous model that I had (Excel with the overhead storage tank) gave me no problem for over 10 years, except for changing filters, and I finally had to replace it as the dealer said the parts were not available as the model was phased out.

                            Now, this machine is not working efficiently in less than 2 years, which leads me to believe that either the quality of the machines have declined over the years or the dealer's service staff are trying to fool the customer into replacing parts unnecessarily. I would appreciate a refund of the service fee and replacement costs for this visit as it is technically my first service since I bought the machine.

                              Filter changed by your engineer on 10/10/16 (Service visit), but no bill had given to us and replaced ro filter is also old one it is manufactured on june 14. Due to this filter my solenoid valve is malfunctioned. Now again engineer came to check and tell change the filter in 9 month.

                              Please give the solution for this complaint and i want strict action against service engineer those who visit on 10/10/16.

                                Last January one Kent service person called Ravi came from agency Water World, Bommanahalli, Bangalore and we gave for AMC and after that if we call the agency they say they will come and no body will come. Nat even able to have service. Got the money and absconded. Very bad service. Thought of buying Aqua guard. Please do the needful and help us

                                    This complain is with respect to a major fraud being carried out by your customer service partners in lucknow.

                                    I has booked the below service request as filter change alarm was beeping on my ro:

                                    Around 10:30, i received call from kent ro that a technician will be assigned to our complaint and he will visit soon.

                                    After this, around 30 minutes later, a technician (Mahendra pratap singh from regitech aqua pvt. Ltd.) visited our place and informed that 4 filters needed to be changed and it would cost total rs. 3600. We went ahead and everything was done in around 1 hour.

                                    Same day, in the evening, i again received a call that a technician pavan had been assigned to my request. I informed them that the job had already been done.

                                    Now, the next day on[protected], pavan actually visited at our place and informed us that the person who visited yesterday was a fraud and has installed fake parts in the ro.

                                    Ridiculously, he left and cancelled the service request stating that "the customer denied to pay" (As per customer care).

                                    This is a clearly complete fraud which is being carried out by service providers as complaint data is being leaked and fake technicians are visiting even before original technician is assigned to the request.

                                    As a customer, this is completely unacceptable as it puts my family's health (Impure water) and security (Unauthorised people visiting) at risk. Therefore, i demand immediate actions as per below:

                                    1. Official technician should visit immediately and replace all fake parts with original parts. We will only pay the difference in fare from the original receipt (Attached with the email). The original request must be re-opened.
                                    2. A reason must be provided as to why a random person was allowed to visit a registered customer's home and why was the data leaked. What if he was a criminal? Will kent ro be liable?

                                    In addition to above i have been following up and demanding action via all channels like phone, email, social media like facebook and twitter, but nothing is being done about the demands.

                                      Hi Team,

                                      Since 5 days the worst Kent water filter is not working, it's being 1month the stupid technician has replaced 4 filters and took 2300 and now he comes up and say you need to pay for service and need to pay for the part where it's being only an Year old I spending more money on this worst brand I want my money back and u guys take your product.

                                      I called up customer care they misguided me saying u don't need to pay and 3 people hung saying I will get my senior, I am not sure what kind service is provided Iam really fed up no more further discussions, plz refund the amount of the product.

                                        I was purchase kent grand plus model dated on 19/05/2017, as per the TAT within 48 hours Installation is complete but still not a single response from ur side and when i call to customer care they said due to no response on call we close ur request.
                                        But the fact is that nobudy can call me related to that and i never shut my phone at any cost due to my work profession. So don't lie with us solve my issue today on urgent basis otherwise will raise the complant on consumer forum.
