I am sumit tyagi. I purchased the KENT RO in October 2015 IN LALITPUR UTTAR PRADESH. Ball set was also installed to achieve a better performance. During first year, two or three minor problems came, but I ignored them and got the problems rectified by the kent technician who installed it. In this first year on a regular basis (after one or two moths), we also changed the filter of ball set. But now problems are coming regularly from last six/seven months.
You can see the attached photograph with this mail. The supply terminals of the card got short circuited. The RO was not switching on. I informed the service centre. After making me frustrated for more than four/ five days, they attended the problem with the same person who installed the RO in beginning. I asked him about the problem, he said, ” the quality of connection terminals is like this only”.
Now on 19/04/2017, one of the filters got burst (it looks so awkward to say burst but it is reality).
With due respect, I want to ask “WHY SO MANY PROBLEMS ARE COMING??”
** IN MY HOME TOWN WE ARE HAVING A RO OF AQUA GUARD, THEY PROVIDED SERVICE FOR FIRST ONE YEAR WITHOUT ANY COST, BUT IN KENT’S CASE EVERY TIME I HAD TO CALL THE PERSON AND SPEND MONEY?? THEN WHAT IS USE OF SPENDING MORE MONEY TO BUY KENT PRODUCT JUST TO HAVE FAKE SATISFACTION GUARANTEE??
** KENT IS BIG NAME, PERSONS OPT FOR IT BECAUSE THEY WANT QUALITY AND PEACE OF MIND REGARDING RELIABILITY, BUT IT HAS GIVEN ME A WORST EXPERIENCE.
**HAD I MADE A MISTAKE BY BUYING THIS PRODUCT????????

    Yesterday a Kent service person fitted it. However, he didn't manage to even close the water inlet. As soon as he opened the cork, water started splashing all over kitchen. He tried to fix his nozzle even when there was water with high pressure. Once done he charged me 4500 (filter change + service charge). Soon after he left water started to leak from inlet pipe. I tried calling Kent office and the person who fitted it. Kent said they would send a service person. Next day, a different person attended and informed that inlet pipe is broken. We cannot do anything. My complete kitchen is flooded with water now. I have a 6yr old boy. Never seen such a pathetic service in my life. Now, I'm asked to call a carpenter, plumber to fix it. Such a shame.

      Sir/madam,

      We have brought kent water purifier on 12/04/2016 under the name [removed](Mob no: [removed]). There was an issue regarding water overflow on 11/04/2017. So we have lodged a complaint. They have sent someone for repair. They came the very next day and replaced a part regarding this. Within a few days on 18/04/17 there was another problem, this time regarding ro filter. They have told that there is a crack in the filter and it has to be replaced. During the first visit service boys haven't mentioned about it. If they would have mentioned at that time itself it would have been covered under warranty (Which is one year from the date of installation). Secondly service boy who came this time mentioned that in summer because of hot water cracks generally occur on plastic parts. They have told that it is better to use water purifier in morning only. No one mentioned this point at the time of installation. Ro filter costs rs. 2.5k. Because of poor service and improper communication with customers it was a loss for us. Please do something for it.

        Untill it came to faulty pump replacement, they have come in a time frame of 7days - 1 month to rectify the issue after repeated calls. Now my pump/motor gone faulty, they are telling every day for last one month that technician will come, but technician is disconnecting calls and call center is giving false assurance everyday. I have another 3 months of valid amc.

        My kent ro purifier is not working for last one month and have been calling the service center 'water world' from whom amc was done, but no technician is coming for the service. Had registered 5 complaints in last one month through kent customer care but all are in vain.
        On 4th july 2016 i called kent customer care to send the authorized person from service center for amc and they sent these water world guys whose service is pathetic. For last one year we are suffering for their service. Please take action against these water word service center.

        My RO is out of service for 26days even after paying advance AMC !! Please read below what happened in next 2 days after complain was registered.
        18th April Complaint registered after chasing Service center for 24 days.

        19th April: On 19th received call from Kent Service Center "Water World" Bangalore (whom I paid 1 year AMC) from the number[protected]caller name: Reshmi) and she promised by afternoon the pump will be replaced and gave technician number (Shiva Kumar:[protected], technician called and promised that he will come within 1 hour. But after repeated followup he did not come.

        20th April: Called Water world, Reshmi was telling technician visited my place but I did not receive call !! I called technician, and asked why he has not come. In reply he told he got late and will come today. Whole day I chased both office number and technician, technician was disconnecting calls. My RO is out of service for 26days even after paying advance AMC !!

          Once servicing the product, service man made a wrong thread...and when doing second service, service man was unable to open the screw...so service man hitted the product to open the screw...when hitting the base was cracked.
          last service:17/3/17
          on this date only we came to know the base was broken.we complained about this many times but there is no proper response..the product broken by you must be replaced by you only..

            Service tech came for service of Kent RO in Jollygrant Dehradoon at Swami Rama Hospital he didnt did his job properly he not even cleaned the tank and he changed 2 candles and he charged Rs 1400/-.
            He changed the part in which there is light 6 months before now again its leaking water from there.

                Hi,

                I bought a Kent Grand Plus SI Number#KR[protected] with RO UV UF TDS control in July 2016, from Amazon from last 8 months there was so many problems in the purifier,

                with in 8 months the following problems started, Taste was not Good, Tap Valve Broken, RO membrane bursted, Cable got burned, Inline Carbon filter bursted, now UF filter Bursted, all the components in the unit are getting bursting/breaking. we are paying money for all the components even the Unit is in Warrenty period.

                we are not happy from the day one i bought the RO purifier, we are frustrated with the purifier, the RO is totally failure model, with in 8 months these many failures means it's ridiculous, every time when there is a break down we have to buy the water from outside, which is hectic.

                we need the unit to replaced or refund my money, else i have to go and post the same in all social media.

                  I Have been using using Kent Ro last April to 2016. I raised a request in November 2016 to check my Ro machine. Technician came and told me that service is required as water taste is not good. and he told me to come back day after tomorrow i called him many time. and contact in customer care. but they give very slow response. Now when my machine is out of warranty they are asking about Service Charges. they didn't provide any free service that was the complementary. when machine was in warranty no body came to provide service. and now u are take my request on urgent basis with Service charges. This is very ridicules. You are making fool to customers.

                    Would like to highlight a big scam being done by KENT

                    I had requested the AMC request on Kent toll free helpline in the month of Jan'17. Some executive visited next day and inform that he is authorized by Kent and charged Rs 8400 for 2 years AMC. Now when i had some issue with my filter i raised the complaint on the number given on slip. Though engineer came next day and charged Rs 200 again from my parents and did not resolved the complaint completely.

                    Next day i, e. on Saturday i spoke to one gentleman Mr Kundra and he confirmed that there is no such toll free helpline. Now i have below mentioned concerns :

                    1. How come some un-authorized service person got my details when call was made to authorized Toll Free no. for AMC
                    2. How come kent team denied that there is no such toll free helpline no. where as i called on saturday on same no. and also on marketing emails same no, is published.
                    3. How come the person who did AMC, changed the old candle and carbon with sealed pack KENT parts.

                      I have purchased the Kent Grand + water Purifier 2 years back. In 2 years there have been more than 20 complaints. Nobody repairs it properly. The worst part is the Kent Customer Care team. They are the most useless customer care team in this world. Whenever complaint is raised, they sends an SMS with a Technician details who never responds to the calls been made.

                      During the warranty period also I asked to changed the product but they changes all the spares for no use.

                      Kindly help how to deal with this situation, or let me know if I need to consider that my money is gone.

                        I am using Kent Water purifier 'Prime Mineral RO' for one year. the product started giving problem after 6 months. the technician changed one cartridge and again 6 months the issue started.

                        Since last 3 months every month the machine is breaking down.

                        The local support people are rude and not able to fix the issue.
                        I talked to them many times but they doesnt seem serious enough and they always that it happens.

                        i have written at least 5 times to the Kent Customer Care but they have not taken any action and i continue to suffer.

                          I had purchased Kent ro on Oct 2016 but with in six months it will not work properly yes high and bad quality water which not suit for drink. I have log complaint technician visit but he can't resolved problem he told to me problem solved with in 2 days but problem related to membrane he not solved by his hand his senior Mr oberai and Vimal mishra told to me not change membrane if my ro is in warranty so what will issue to why not change membrane. I think Kent ro means can't give better service so pl's resolve problems immediately. I[censored] not solved we meet in consumer Forum kindly resolved it.who will responsible for my family if drink bad quality and high tds water family members face problem like stomach pain due to Kent ro .

                            Kindly for your information i've purchase New Kent Ultra UV Water Purifier - X000NJ4VVP (Machine Serial No. - KR[protected]) Model Name - Kent Ultra, Model No. 11012 purchase through AMAZON (Invoice Number : BOM[protected] Dated 4th Apr., 2017. According company rules new product installation totally free of cost so, amazon given to me via mail kent customer care number regarding installation issue. So, i'll touch kent customer care for installation and they are vows service engineer will/definitely attend in my house within 24-48 hrs.But, when their recognized technician touch with me via phone regarding new water purifier installation, they will force me to purchase another filter/cartridge (price range 950/- to 1500/-) for new installation which unnecessary part of the new installation so, when i reluctant to purchase it, they will threat me via telephone to find out unauthorized technician with extra my pocket money regarding particular product installation.

                            Please resolve this issue early, without purifier water daily life very harsh to my whole family members. I'm old age people and suffer different kind of disease.

                              This is to bring in your notice that this is my 3rd Kent Grand + RO and I have faced the same problem with all 3 -
                              Motor Leakage after few years.

                              In the latest 1 that I have – The motor started leaking in 1 year 1 months (warranty attached).
                              I will not be able to afford the motor change so very often since the fault is in the design.
                              Please help arrange a motor replacement from Kent.

                              Also the Motor started leaking after the Service person completed replacing the filters.I have been calling Kent from the last 15 days without any resolution. They are asking to pay 2400 for the motor replacement now.

                                Have been using a Kent RO machine for the past 2 yrs. The pump-motor joint has started leaking. Last two week I trying to contact with nearest Kent service centre, but their response is too slow. Finally one person came and told me for the replacement of motor. Cost for this 2500+300. Why this much cost. From my experience I wouldn't recommend Kent product.

                                  Dear Person,
                                  This email is to inform you that my Kent RO has been a big trouble as every now & then RO encounters with some issue..

                                  My registered no/details with Kent is: [protected] on the name of Mr Jai Kishan Gupta

                                  This month the issue came thrice (in a week time), Kent RO technician informed that previously some parts has been put which are local and has caused damage to machine..

                                  I have already registered complaints on the same to Mr Shivshankar & Mahendra of customer care but still no respite.

                                  Need 2 actions without any relaxation:

                                  1. Need all local/non working parts replacement FREE OF COST since this damage is caused by Kent appointed service centre/technician, who has been Involved in fraudulent and cheated upon the customer's trust and leading to defamation of Kent as company.

                                  2. Naubasta service centre who was appointed has to be thrown out from Kent authorized service centre.

                                  3. Since everytime I call-up Kent Customer care service I need to explain and follow-up a new person, which is waste of energy from my side and takes 30mins every time. Hence kindly appoint one single person and let him call me till this issue is resolved. Do not expect me to keep interacting with new guy every time.

                                  Expect to listen from you shortly with fulfillment of all above points. Already because of Kent I have been suffering severely for last 1wk. Hope to see quick action and resolution .

                                      I have raised a service request - [protected] on 27th March. I got a message that no service charge will be applicable since the machine is under AMC. Today, I got the call from a technician - Amol ([protected]). He said that I would have to pay service charge since the AMC is not done with his Agency. Is this a joke? AMC is done with the company and not with the Agency. I want a strict action against Kent and want my AMC money back.

                                        I bought a Kent Pearl RO water purifier on[protected] from SURAKSHA WATER (#3/2, 1st Floor, Bellandur Gate, Ambalipura, Sarjapur Main Road, Next to Drops, Bangalore-560102, www.surakshawaterpurifiers.com) after using it for 2 months it stopped working with continuous beep sound, I have lodged a complain to same dealer and they sent a technician immediately, after checking he told me the Controller is not working, So he replaced with a new one (11W UV BALLAST WITH AFC & PUMP CONTROL) and took the old one, when I asked for the receipt he said, since it is under warranty we will not charge anything so we will not provide any receipt for the same. I called the above-mentioned agencies and asked for the receipt they said we will provide it. However, they never come back. Even I have tried to reach the Area service manager, However, everybody told me like they don't know contact details. Sent a mail to [protected]@kent.co.in for seeking the contact details, However no response. I am just wondering if they want to isolate Area service manager from customers then why they have any such position? Today (25/03/2017) I lodged a complaint about Regular servicing and one guy from DYNAMIC RO SERVICERS came and when he opened the purifier he told me that the controller is DUPLICATE, after explaining him full story he took a picture and told me he will make a complaint about the same, though I am not sure if really he is going to do so. Today also I have called the SURAKSHA WATER and informed them about this, However, they said they will get back to me but no callback. Please help me in this situation and how I can get an original controller and how KENT is authorising these kinds of dealers.

                                        Thanks for the reply, Today one Technician came and checked the TDS level and adjusted it. However when I explained him everything and asked for replacement of Controller then he called his manager and said we can't replace it with a genuine one.
                                        Please take the duplicate one and give me a genuine controller.
