The AMC that Kent is offering does not include the AMC for candle and membrane, the vital parts of the machine, therefore, the AMC offered for parts is of no use. It appears that AMC being offered is only a money making mechanism and not a facility for customers. The other companies say Godrej offers AMC covering all parts of machines (appliances) sold by them. Eureka Forbes also covers these parts in AMC. Customers will be happy to bear a little more cost of these parts if a compact AMC is designed and offered. Kent (the Comapny) should do something like this. If I get a offer from Kent before 27th Nov.2016, I will take AMC or else I am planning to dispose off Kent RO and go for other Company's products.

    Address - Near Ware House, Tiwari Compound, ITI Road.

    Dear Kent Team,

    Even after knowing that there is a high amount of calcium at site ground water you are luring and misinforming the customer base at Hoshangabad and thus convincing them on false information that this RO equipment of yours will perform.

    It is hardly three years o[censored]sage and we have started witnessing the issues which are not technically repairable from RO Dealers.

    Issues Observed -

    1. Performance failure of membrane/filters before their life. ( i.e. 1 year)
    2. Pump failure due to jammed filter.
    3. No maintenance or follow-up calls for frequent health check-up of the equipment from the dealer.
    4. No TDS re-calibration visit from dealer.
    5. No inbuilt alarm for filter change/motor malfunction.

    Cost of filter replacement - INR 1000/-
    Cost of pump replacement ( no repair possible!) - INR 4000/-

    Despite a known replacement cost of a filter on yearly frequency, replacement cost of pump ( 4000 INR) is not at all acceptable to me!
    The call to replace the filter was made to dealer on time (28/10) but reported on site very late ( 13 days) due to which now my RO is non-functional and the technician says pump can not be repaired but replaced only which will cost INR 4000/-.

    Expectations -

    1. Since the filter change request was not attended on time, replacement of failed pump to a fresh pump should be done on free of cost basis.
    2. Annual maintenance scheme should be launched to allow a technician to do a health check-up of the equipment at least thrice a year.
    3.Post sales maintenance, item cost should be brought down to a reasonable level.
    4.Stop promoting your products where they have a technical limitations to fight with issues like water hardness, calcium contents, sand, impurities and the products are prone to choke and subsequently fail to operate.
    5. incorporate an alarming system to inform about filter change/motor malfunction.

    Its been 4 days since I raised my concern and still the matter is not resolved.
    Yesterday, I had a visit of your technician name - Mr. Deepak and he has gone through the issue.

    Now after diagnosis, he admits that the not just the pump but carbon as well as sediment unit is also failed.

    This is really a grave situation, where a change of membrane unit on yearly basis was notified to the customer but no instruction were given for carbon & sediments unit and now looks like the whole unit is under a total break down!

    This is a case of careless and injudicious approach towards post-sales customer support!

    Now I am in a situation where I reinstate my grievance to KENT RO to provide a free of cost replacement for pump, carbon unit and sediment unit without further delaying the matter.

    As agreed earlier as well, I am ready to pay for the membrane replacement cost which was anyways there in my yearly expense plan, but above that KENT RO has to bear all the expenses.

      We have purchase Kent RO- Pearl in Gurgaon on 7.11.16. Installation happen only after our continuous followup only by 09.11.16.
      This machine ran for two day and thereafter not working from 11.11.16.

      We complained Kent via email and calling customer care.
      They are only assuring us to fix this everyday. Till now no one has approached us.

      Pathetic service. Nobody turned up or called..do not recommend anybody to purchase Kent.

        I have bought the Kent Supreme Water purifier through Amazon on 14th Oct'15 and got installed on 18th Oct'15.

        1. In the last 1 year there were various complaints in this machine regarding the Filter functionality and your service personnel came & rectified
        2. On 16th Oct'16 we have seen water leakage from top of Filter, since we are leaving to our native place - Kanyakumari for Diwali festival we could not complain about this and we have switched-off the machine and left to our native place.
        3. We have returned back on Monday - 07th November evening and made complaint about this issue to Kent service center on Tuesday 08th Morning ( Complaint Ref[protected]
        4. Kent service executive given shocking information that RO Filter to be replaced which will cost Rs 2800/= since the machine is out of warranty
        5. Even though we have explained the problem of leaking during the warranty period he is refused to repair the machine.
        6. We have paid Rs 16, 500 with such high cost beleiving in Kent's quality and bought the machine.
        7. If the RO Filter to be replaced, why no alarm or indicator is turning on ?
        8. We suspect very serious problem in the machine and this machine may be refurbmished one.
        9. Now we are under huge shock since we have to spend another Rs 5000/= including the UV filters within 1 year..!!!

        Further to my mail dtd 10th November, please find below mail to Kent on 11th November :

        1. I have made complaint again today to your service center to actually see the conditions of the damaged RO filter and take photo of the same.
        2. Service technicians from "Inteck Electronics, Banaglore " visited my home this afternoon.
        3. The RO Membrane which was damaged has no visible cracks to take photos and looks like it's clearly the water leakage is due to some "hair line cracks" near the inlet and it's leaking and the service technician also agreed to the same. This clearly shows very poor raw material used for the Filter.
        4. When I argued with Inteck Electronics -Alphesh about this he started using very bad languages and started shouting at me .
        5. When I am telling that, I am talking to Chandra Kanth & Balaji about this issue he says they do not know about them and he said he will not listen to any one in HO.
        6. The service technician - Shashidhar of Inteck Electronics came today, do not have any Kent ID card and nor the visiting card
        7. When I am trying to take photo of their Bill book, the technician trying to push me out and started threatening me and even he thrown the Kent machine top cover in the house.
        8. Another big issue I have noticed that, Inteck Electronics service book does not contain any Service Tax Registration Number
        9. This means Inteck Electronics not apying Service Tax at all...
        10. When I have asked about this, the technician told me to complaint to Narendra Modi about this.
        11. The technician removed the replaced Filter from my machine which was working for 2 hours and started cleaning and packing to make it as new one.

        I AM IN TOTAL SHOCK ABOUT ALL THIS HAPPENED TODAY

        Please confirm :

        1. Whether I can complain to Mr. Narendra Modi, our honorable PM about this mischief by your Franchise with the support of Kent, very famous company in India in Water purifiers
        2. Can report to local ST department about this ?
        3. Can I report to nearby Police Station about the misbehaving of your Franchise technician in my home ?
        4. Can I report to Press about all the above ?
        5. Can I complain to Consumer Court about this cheating of Kent ?

          I purchased kent mineral ro pearl 8 liter model through online purchase from amazon. Ordered on 30 oct . The same has been received on 08 nov 2016. As per advise phoned in the given no [protected] at 13-27 hrs of 08/11/2016 and requested for installation.
          I have been said that ken person will contact for installation within 24 to 48 hrs and as per our conversation will visit in given address for installation.
          But now it is around 55 hrs no body contacted me what to tell about installation.
          If some concern person is viewing this feedback please arrange for it. I was having aquaguard this time i purchased kent but it is shocking in the first hand itself.

            I have bought Kent RO last year in Sep'15 & & found that with in a year its seal broke. Thogh the same was in warranty agency removed the same free of cost in Aug-16. Now the chok of the filter has damaged. Only a year & 1month has passed after i purchased the product & i have to spend again some Rs.1300/- to got the same repaired. This kindly of product is totall not accepatble & very bad on the part of Kent that they are providing such low quality porduct to the consumer.

              Dear sir/madam,

              I am having a kent pearl ro purchased around two years back.

              6th-feb -16 : it's ro membrane including other filters were changed
              Edimentation filters were changed after this membrane change..
              11th-jul-16 : it's carbon and sedimentation filter was changed
              24th-sep-16 : a complaint was raised as my machine had noise and vibration, engineer visited and he said that machine is old that's the reason you hear noise and vibration and adjusted a piece of cloth between the part making noise and filter's body to reduce the noise and vibration.
              1st-oct 16 : the noise and vibration suddenly increase and i again raised a complaint, then an engineer came and fixed the actual issue, so the engineer who came on 24th sep couldn't diagnose the problem
              2nd-nov-16 : my ro again stopped working, i raised a complained and engineer diagnosed that the membrane was broken because of water pressure in your area and mentioned that i need to pay for it as membrane's warranty is just three months only..
              Meanwhile i called up customer care twice and each time my call was disconnected by them without completing the conversation and there was no call back from their side..
              6th-nov-16 : i spoke to customer care and informed him of the problem and pointed out that there is a nozzle to increase/decrease water pressure in ro inlet and it's adjusted by engineer only at each instance when service is done then how it is the fault of engineer who inadvertently increased the water pressure, so company should bear it's cost, the customer care connected me to mr. yadav, asm of my area who started giving a different reason and when i protested he mimicked me and disconnected the call. when i raised it to customer care supervisor he informed that he cannot do anything beyond this point.

              I am shocked by such unprofessional attitude of the kent ro asm of sushant lok gurgaon area.

              I humbly request you to please get my yearly amc amount refunded as i am not getting the services against my amc.

              Please let me know if in case you need any other details from my side in this regard.

                Please be noted that my RO is not working since 1 nov 2016 and I have register d many complaints on customer care no. And till now no response and service from your side .

                Also be noted this RO I purchased 10 months ago and since then there has been many issues and complaints for this product approx 10 to 12 times it has been repaired .

                I am highly dissatisfied with the product and service from your agents also I requested many times that this product needs to be replaced as it has been giving lot of problems full machinery needs to be changed .
                Because of all this satisfaction and poor response from your team I have been forced to approach consumer court for justice against this defective product being sold by Kent company.

                Hope company would not like to spoil their image in social media and in court and will response and take some positive action .

                    My kent ro (1.5 to 2 years old) is giving beeps when switched on, water flows in slow droplets and taste of water is not so good. This was the complaint. The technician who came didn't even open the machine to check, but straight away said the membrane is'gone', all the filters are'gone' and gave an estimate of rs4000.

                    When i bought the machine for rs16000 do you expect me to pay 25% of the machine cost in repairing it? Is this the quality of ro you manufacture and then advertise half page in the newspaper?

                    I can get the filters replaced at a nominal cost amounting to rs1000 or so but not rs4000. I'd rather buy some other brand of better quality and get warranty on the same.

                      First of all, I want to highlight the incompetency of the customer service center. They give option to select language, and even after choosing English, the executive does not speak or understand anything other than hindi. I have made a total of 8 calls regarding same complaint, and non of them even understood the nature of complaint. One executive even told us to go deal with the issue from where we bought the machine and it is not their problem.

                      Second, I want to mention the arrogance & trickery of the technicians that have come home. A total of 5 technicians have come home, including the one during installation. the sensor clearly is in red, indicating the water is not fit for drinking, and they have all told it is fine, just use the filter as such. the person who installed the filter did not even care to check water pressure in the inlet and the next day the machine was leaking bucket loads of water. from that time they have said some sensor is not working, they will go back n contact office, and later in they day we get message saying the complaint is rectified and closed.

                      We have paid INR 22, 000; and bought a machine, which has not worked even for a single day. As per the monitor on the machine, it is giving water with no minerals, i.e, distilled water. if it is a fault with the sensor, then we do not even know if it is filtering anything at all.

                      Kent is clearly not bothered about rectifying the issue, probably waiting for the warranty to get over, so that they can charge us for the mistake of theirs. We want strict legal action to be taken against such cheating; and will be going to consumer forum also.

                        Hi team,

                        We are facing an issue with the carbon filters from past 2 months, the technician came and cleaned the filter but no use after 20 days we got the same problem where water stopped coming. The service is so pathetic and we got frustrated like anything. The technician told they will replace it 1 month back, but till now they have not replaced. We are getting the drinking water by going to 2 kms for filling the water tins. We need your immediate assistance to get the filters replaced. This is not what we are expecting from kent which is a very nice brand.

                          I complained 6 times in coustmer care about product issue i have leakeg problem at my kent ro but only 1 time 1 executive came in my home he clicked some picture of difective area but problem has not resolve. After that i registered complain many times but no 1 came and my all complaint going automatically cancel i enclosed 2 pictures. Plz do some thing for us we r suffer from july

                            We installed a kent ro (model name - super plus) costing inr 18000/- in aug 2014.
                            It worked fine for 1 year but post that we have had to spend inr 8500 (50% of the product cost) in repairs and amc!!

                            1. rs 3300 paid for membrane in sep 2015
                            2. rs 2000 amc in jan 2016
                            3. rs 2500 for 2nd membrane in jun 2016
                            4. rs 500 for carbon filter in oct 2016
                            Proofs attached.

                            It has several high cost components which the service engineer says last only one year on an average.

                            I can now see so many complaints of this kind online. i am just wondering why did i busy this product.

                            Kent advertisements never tell these facts.

                            I think mrs hema malini should stop being the brand ambassador of this brand.

                              I have been using Kent RO from last 13 months, after 12 month service provider asked me to make a yearly maintenance contact with Rs. 5000 and i did it, but since from the changing filter and servicing water TDS value not been constant by the system it is fluctuating more than 100% and service provider explanation always is that supply water TDS value differing from time to time so filter water TDS value is increasing which is totally unacceptable

                              so what should i do now, even i have a doubt that the service provider replaced the filter that is fake or duplicate not original from kent.

                                My complain is about leaking of water inside the kent system which was since its last servicing done. i have also done email regarding same but no reply came
                                It was really dissapointing.

                                The ro is in warranty period. 7 complaints made for change of part still no resolution given from Kent service. When new service request is made the technician close the complaint without any change in the damaged parts.

                                  I have kent mini water softner (serial no : ks[protected] and recently i have changed it with new filter for which i have paid for both the new filter and the service and still it is not working and i am getting hard water only because of which i am facing many health problems.

                                  I called customer care many times and several complaints has been raised but still issue is not resolved. one of the recent requests that has been raised is[protected] which i have been following up from past two weeks and no response yet.

                                  Today (oct 22 2016), one more new request[protected] has been raised but no one knows when it will be addressed.

                                  Also, last time i have received full two packs of expired salt. when i complained about it, no one even seem to be bothered about it.

                                  Kent customer service is the worst service that i ever saw.

                                  Please consider this issue as high priority and i hope it will be resolved atleast after raising this complaint.

                                    I purchased Kent water filter - Super Plus on 12th Sept 2016 and waited for the service technician to install the same at my residence in Bangalore. On seeing no action, I lodged a complaint on 5th Oct 2016 wherein the installation work was assigned to one Mr. Kartik on the same day. However, no one turned up till next day another message was sent stating one Mr. Shivakumar will attend the issue. When no one turned up, I lodged a complaint yet again on 20 Oct 2016 when the job was assigned to one Mr. Naresh.
                                    Due to inordinate delay in installation of the water filter, I had opened the packing and noticed that the plastic nut which secures the water tank float sensor unit was cracked. For want of purified water, I had installed the unit myself although the water was overflowing due the above problem. Mr. Naresh finally came today 22 Oct 2016 and replaced the cracked nut and charged me Rs.235/- even though I told him that the nut was found cracked on opening the sealed unit. Mr. Naresh said he is required to take a snap of the cracked unit and then send it to the company who will reimburse the amount.
                                    I fail to understand why the company permits their technicians to charge for defective parts and that too for such low cost items (plastic nut in this case). I strongly feel victimised for very poor quality of service and request the company to reimburse Rs.235/- paid to the technician.

                                        Its been a month since i installed this water purifier, I had called Kent call centre and asked them that i was looking for a purifier and their dealer contacted me and installed a machine after testing the water. This machine is dispensing GREEN water within a month of its installation. The machine from inside has also turned GREEN.
                                        Their executive came to check and he says that this is because of sunlight coming in the kitchen! How does kent expect no sunlight in the kitchen?
                                        I want my money back as i dont think these people have installed the right machine depending on the type of water.

                                        I bought a Kent Ro system about two years ago but I am very unhappy regarding service of Kent ro l compalin the leakag of my ro on12th Oct but no one came my home and when I asked my complain the service engineer.. said service has done it's very shameful if anyone is responsible for this...
