I own this machine since a year now I am serving in central govt. services, dont have much time to complaint about over the phone as it takes lot off time, I have tried on toll free and paid as well but no one respond well, this RO is not working at all, I request if somebody can come and get it fixed..

    My kent ro (1.5 to 2 years old) is giving beeps when switched on, water flows in slow droplets and taste of water is not so good. This was the complaint. The technician who came didn't even open the machine to check, but straight away said the membrane is'gone', all the filters are'gone' and gave an estimate of rs4000.

    When i bought the machine for rs16000 do you expect me to pay 25% of the machine cost in repairing it? Is this the quality of ro you manufacture and then advertise half page in the newspaper?

    I can get the filters replaced at a nominal cost amounting to rs1000 or so but not rs4000. I'd rather buy some other brand of better quality and get warranty on the same.

    I have written to kent service centre mail id but received no response thus far. Please revert immediately

      First of all, I want to highlight the incompetency of the customer service center. They give option to select language, and even after choosing English, the executive does not speak or understand anything other than hindi. I have made a total of 8 calls regarding same complaint, and non of them even understood the nature of complaint. One executive even told us to go deal with the issue from where we bought the machine and it is not their problem.

      Second, I want to mention the arrogance & trickery of the technicians that have come home. A total of 5 technicians have come home, including the one during installation. the sensor clearly is in red, indicating the water is not fit for drinking, and they have all told it is fine, just use the filter as such. the person who installed the filter did not even care to check water pressure in the inlet and the next day the machine was leaking bucket loads of water. from that time they have said some sensor is not working, they will go back n contact office, and later in they day we get message saying the complaint is rectified and closed.

      We have paid INR 22, 000; and bought a machine, which has not worked even for a single day. As per the monitor on the machine, it is giving water with no minerals, i.e, distilled water. if it is a fault with the sensor, then we do not even know if it is filtering anything at all.

      Kent is clearly not bothered about rectifying the issue, probably waiting for the warranty to get over, so that they can charge us for the mistake of theirs. We want strict legal action to be taken against such cheating; and will be going to consumer forum also.

        Hi team,

        We are facing an issue with the carbon filters from past 2 months, the technician came and cleaned the filter but no use after 20 days we got the same problem where water stopped coming. The service is so pathetic and we got frustrated like anything. The technician told they will replace it 1 month back, but till now they have not replaced. We are getting the drinking water by going to 2 kms for filling the water tins. We need your immediate assistance to get the filters replaced. This is not what we are expecting from kent which is a very nice brand.

            We installed a kent ro (model name - super plus) costing inr 18000/- in aug 2014.
            It worked fine for 1 year but post that we have had to spend inr 8500 (50% of the product cost) in repairs and amc!!

            1. rs 3300 paid for membrane in sep 2015
            2. rs 2000 amc in jan 2016
            3. rs 2500 for 2nd membrane in jun 2016
            4. rs 500 for carbon filter in oct 2016
            Proofs attached.

            It has several high cost components which the service engineer says last only one year on an average.

            I can now see so many complaints of this kind online. i am just wondering why did i busy this product.

            Kent advertisements never tell these facts.

            I think mrs hema malini should stop being the brand ambassador of this brand.

              I have been using Kent RO from last 13 months, after 12 month service provider asked me to make a yearly maintenance contact with Rs. 5000 and i did it, but since from the changing filter and servicing water TDS value not been constant by the system it is fluctuating more than 100% and service provider explanation always is that supply water TDS value differing from time to time so filter water TDS value is increasing which is totally unacceptable

              so what should i do now, even i have a doubt that the service provider replaced the filter that is fake or duplicate not original from kent.

                My complain is about leaking of water inside the kent system which was since its last servicing done. i have also done email regarding same but no reply came

                The ro is in warranty period. 7 complaints made for change of part still no resolution given from Kent service. When new service request is made the technician close the complaint without any change in the damaged parts.

                  I have kent mini water softner (serial no : ks[protected] and recently i have changed it with new filter for which i have paid for both the new filter and the service and still it is not working and i am getting hard water only because of which i am facing many health problems.

                  I called customer care many times and several complaints has been raised but still issue is not resolved. one of the recent requests that has been raised is[protected] which i have been following up from past two weeks and no response yet.

                  Today (oct 22 2016), one more new request[protected] has been raised but no one knows when it will be addressed.

                  Also, last time i have received full two packs of expired salt. when i complained about it, no one even seem to be bothered about it.

                  Kent customer service is the worst service that i ever saw.

                  Please consider this issue as high priority and i hope it will be resolved atleast after raising this complaint.

                    I purchased Kent water filter - Super Plus on 12th Sept 2016 and waited for the service technician to install the same at my residence in Bangalore. On seeing no action, I lodged a complaint on 5th Oct 2016 wherein the installation work was assigned to one Mr. Kartik on the same day. However, no one turned up till next day another message was sent stating one Mr. Shivakumar will attend the issue. When no one turned up, I lodged a complaint yet again on 20 Oct 2016 when the job was assigned to one Mr. Naresh.
                    Due to inordinate delay in installation of the water filter, I had opened the packing and noticed that the plastic nut which secures the water tank float sensor unit was cracked. For want of purified water, I had installed the unit myself although the water was overflowing due the above problem. Mr. Naresh finally came today 22 Oct 2016 and replaced the cracked nut and charged me Rs.235/- even though I told him that the nut was found cracked on opening the sealed unit. Mr. Naresh said he is required to take a snap of the cracked unit and then send it to the company who will reimburse the amount.
                    I fail to understand why the company permits their technicians to charge for defective parts and that too for such low cost items (plastic nut in this case). I strongly feel victimised for very poor quality of service and request the company to reimburse Rs.235/- paid to the technician.

                        Its been a month since i installed this water purifier, I had called Kent call centre and asked them that i was looking for a purifier and their dealer contacted me and installed a machine after testing the water. This machine is dispensing GREEN water within a month of its installation. The machine from inside has also turned GREEN.
                        Their executive came to check and he says that this is because of sunlight coming in the kitchen! How does kent expect no sunlight in the kitchen?
                        I want my money back as i dont think these people have installed the right machine depending on the type of water.

                        I bought a Kent Ro system about two years ago but I am very unhappy regarding service of Kent ro l compalin the leakag of my ro on12th Oct but no one came my home and when I asked my complain the service engineer.. said service has done it's very shameful if anyone is responsible for this...

                          My RO is not working about 12 days and i have complain 5 times bt i don''t get any service in warrenty period, company is also not taking any solid step after calling service center.and distributer missbehave with us, and some parts are not considering in warranty which is not in policy.                             I have logged a complaint on kent service desk on 13th October 2016 that my machine taking more time to purify the water. One service person came and inspected the machine and told SMPS not working, and will bring new SMPS next day and fix this. Next day another person came and told he is not finding any issues with SMPS so the problem with motor pump so need to change that.He dismantled the machine and told tomorrow he will be back with pump and fix this. 15th i got a message from customer care mentioning my request has been closed successfully with excellent ratings. I called the customer care and complained that its not done and don't close the complaint.But they said, from service center side they closed it so i need to open another request. I opened another complaint on 16th october 2016, but till they didn't reach me out. I called many times on customer care on these days, every-time they used to tell it will rectify in another 12-24 hours. But i am waiting from last five days to fix this issue.

                              I am finding frequent replacement requirement of pre-filter, sediment filter and carbon filter. After purchase of the kent pearl filter, within 2 months, the feed pump failed, but fortunately agent replaced on warranty coverage. Now i have entered into amc w. E. F today and annual fee charged is rs 5500 (4 times replacement of pre-filter, 1 time sediment filter, one time carbon filter and one time ro membrane; and any other parts failure it will be extra).

                              The service engineer has not checked effectiveness of ro system delivery. As per my assessment, the rated pump capacity is 1.6 litre/minute, against this the permeate production is 0.125 litre/minute and ro reject is 0.5 litre. Minute. As part of amc, he has already replaced 1 pre-filter and 1 sediment filter. I am not sure after such replacement, the above ro performance is ok.
                              I am bringing this information to kent management and will keep track of amc service and how they protect kent brand name. Hope somebody in kent management will look into this service capability and advice me whether local service engineers are adequately trained to back-up the product delivery system

                                I have purchased kent Puriofier online product no. KR [protected]
                                my Name - Sunil Vitthalrao Patil
                                from last 4 to 5 months kent pearl purifier is not working properly.
                                I have called customer care on no. [protected] three times I have tried to lodge a compalints
                                but your customer care executive just write the compalints and not do anything
                                My purchased product is within warrenty period
                                is it a yours problem to give service for me
                                neither your technician had came to me nor called to me
                                till date My problem is not resolved
                                I am very harassed due to your worst service third-class service
                                My Opinion--- khali kahane ke liye free service hai Bakwas bate kuch kam nahi karate

                                  We did a service repair of RO filters 4 months back which costed us Rs 1200 + 300 visiting charge. Within 4 months one of the filter again broke and on the visit technician also told to change the 3 other components costing us Rs 4500. When asked to give 1 year warranty, technician declined and asked to talk to his executive. On calling on number [protected] Kent support official by name Ms. Jyoti picked communicated with me. On requesting her to provide warranty for 1 year for such costly replacement she denied and started talking in a very rude manner. She agreed to only give 3 months warranty. It is simply ridiculous how Kent company is not even sure and confident of their own replaced parts. I told the support member also to only provide warranty for the broken parts and not complete system. And how can a support person talk in such a rude manner. She told me that she has 10 other things to do and so can't talk to me. I started recording the conversation when found her overstepping her boundaries.

                                  Later she called me again to know which technician visited. I guess to know who gave her number so that she can later on scold him.

                                    Sir, I am using KENT RO water purifier machine s/n KR[protected] which is under warranty period. Right from the installation there has been some or the other problem with the machine, either the water was not getting filtered or the TDS was not proper. I am very disappointed with your after sale services. For getting one complaint resolved I have to wait for minimum 15 days before your service person comes and looks into the matter. Even your toll-free customer care services are pathetic. They don't lift the calls, customer has to call almost a dozen times before they register his/her complaint. They say service person will contact me and the issue will be resolved within 24 hrs. But its a real disappointment that the customer has to call the service person and request him to come and resolve the issue. Not only is the process of complaint registration poor, but the time taken by the technician to come and repair the machine is long. The technician shows up 3 days after the complaint is registered. A lot of inconvenience is caused because of the pathetic after sale services of such a reputed brand.

                                    Moreover, the spare parts, if to be replaced, are not sealed. The technician brings spare parts in stapled packets instead of sealed ones. On enquiring upon as to why unsealed items, the answer provided is " sir, the company gives us parts in stapled packs only." This is very shameful. A reputed brand like yours, is fooling and cheating the customers by either giving cheap spares instead of originals or the service person fits an already used spare part and charges money from the customer. You are letting your customers down.

                                    I registered a complaint with your customer care on 5 oct, 2016 and its really disappointing that its 16 oct, 2016 and my complaint has not been resolved yet. I have tried calling the customer care, the Area Service Manager, the Technician almost 25 times but to no avail. Is this the way your company handles the complaints ? A sound after sales service is promised on the time of purchase and when a complaint is registered your company gives no proper response. Even though i have invested my money in the machine, neither its performance nor the service is satisfactory and I have to buy water everyday from local RO plants.

                                    Its really shameful on your part.

                                    Kindly look into the matter.

                                      I bought Kent inline gold on 28-July-2016. I called the Kent sales contact number and after few phone calls, same day, the unit was installed. That's the only good thing happened in this entire incident. Two persons from 'Sri Balaji Water Purifiers' came to install the unit.

                                      The unit was installed on a wall which is earmarked for water purifier. The self proclaimed professionals did not install the unit properly and as a result, after 3-5 days, the unit fell down. We mounted it on the platform and reconnected only to find it to be leaking. I called customer care, the technician (Ramesh) came next day and told that the float valve gone bad. He told the float valve is not in stock and will take a week to arrive and will be charged. I told I am not going to pay for it. He said he will order it and meanwhile I can talk to the agency about the price waiver. I called agency and informed the same that I will not pay for the float valve because it is gone bad because of their faulty installation. The agency said they will look into it after the spare part arrives. Meanwhile, Ramesh did a temporary fix to get the unit running. After temporary fix, we noticed a crack in upper part of the storage body, preventing full capacity water storage. We decided to look into it after installing float valve.

                                      The Agency never gave any update on the status of the spare part. I had to followup every week for the spare part. In between, I had to complain one more time to customer care as directed by the agency (here I guess that the agency did not order the float valve in the first instance). Finally the float valve arrived after more than 6 weeks. After that, again after 2 weeks of followup i.e. after  8 weeks of original complaint Ramesh came to install the float valve.

                                      Ramesh said that his agency asked to pay for the float valve. I flatly denied to do so. I called agency and asked to fix the float valve and the body at their cost as all the mess is result of their faulty installation. After few phone calls with various people from agency, I gave a deadline to respond else to take the matter up.

                                      Agency did not respond within deadline, so I lodged a complaint on Kent website but received no response yet. It has been a week and this is pathetic.

                                      All the problems because of callousness of so called professional installers.
                                      Agency is not taking its responsibility and is poor in its customer service. Over and above, Kent is responsible for everything but even their callousness is evident in not responding my complaint on their website. Their customer care is superficial and merely handles through SMS.

                                      Again, few SMS received assigning the issue to a person. I got a call from somebody about 15 days back. Nothing else. No updates. The issue stands where it is. Very irresponsible and pathetic customer service. Thinking of going to consumer court now.

                                        This is one of the worst products in India, it is day light robbery under the pretext of servicing one component after the other, even within 1 year the total money spent in maintenance is more than the actual product itself.

                                        Their dealer in Chennai Aynavaram is a company called Saki Technologies, it is even worse, they have only one technician and they openly admit that everyone in their company is a trainee and that's why they take multiple attempts to fix even a simple problem

                                        They just are collecting money and may be even reusing the filters instead of putting new ones

                                        Shame on the film stars who endorse this company as a best product
