This is the sixth complaint in one month of the bad smell and taste of water. The product was bought on 6/6/16 at a price of Rs 16000/-With in such a short time
poor quality of water from RO observed and till today no solution has been found. It is really a wonder that good tap water becomes bad when goes thru RO. Two alleged Kent officials Of name Mr Rahul from Mumbai and Mr Bhattacharya from Noida Informed on 1 sept 16 and 12 sep 16 that money paid will be refunded as the product is choked . Strangely after that call on mobile, they do not respond in spite of so many call from me. No instuctions have been passed to kent office at chennai .Service Manager Mr Balasubramaniam at Anna salai office chennai says he is not aware of even top people at Noida AS both service and sales are vertical org with no lateral matrix. Have never experienced such a poor state of affairs in a branded much publicised company.Customer care has been told to send messages after rectificaton of complaints to rate them on their own --Excellant, very good etc just to dupe the potential customers What a shame and cheating?

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    It is really disgusting to mention that we are fed up of the services being rendered by your after Sales Team. It seems that Kent is full of fake and cheaters and is draining good amount of our money by selling defunct water purifiers to the Indian public.

    Please refer to my complaint no.[protected] which is not resolved but yet the complaint is closed by the fake Kent team. We even tried with your authorized dealer, M/s. Water World, Jajpur Road, Odisha-755019 but he is unable to resolve the issue. I have again raised a new complaint vide - complaint no[protected]. I am not confident that still my issues will not be resolved. Few parts needs to be changed as per your Service Engineers.The machine is a new one and is under warranty.( Ref Machine Sl.No. - KR[protected] ) .

    I request you to escalate the issues to the higher level for getting it resolved if at all Kent is interested. I hope that this time Kent will not cheat us and will resolve the issue completely before closing it.

    I tried to collect the direct contact details of KENT's higher ups but no one is sharing the e-mail ID or phone numbers of higher ups. I need to escalate the matter to the higher ups before We can file a formal customer complaint with the Court of Law ( Consumer's Court ) and other relevant authorities. Also we will see that KENT Water Purifier is black listed from our Company for any future dealings.

    Kindly get back to me at the earliest and please do not cheat us for paying you our hard earned money. Also please clarify as to how our complaint no.[protected] was closed without resolving the issue????

    It is pity that since last four days my problem is not solved and the KENT Water Purifier is not working rather all the parts are damaged including the connectors and LED lights of the machine by your Service Engineers and your authorized dealer's(Water World, Jajpur Road) Engineers. I am very much unsatisfied by the product .I have registered the complaint twice vide complaint numbers[protected] and[protected]. The machine serial number of your defunct machine is KR[protected] and my registered mobile number is [protected]. I request your higher ups to take up the matter and had requested vide my e-mail dt.14.09.16 for your higher ups to intervene. It seems that the higher ups of KENT are hiding under couches and are not interested to resolve the customer issues. It is quiet obvious that KENT is interested to sell the below quantity machine and drain good amount of money from the Public and is showing least interest to resolve the issues after sales.I once again request KENT to share the contact details of Higher Ups so that the matter can be taken up to them for their intervention on the subject. We have a birthday celebration at home on 17.09.16 and I am afraid that we have to offer bought out water to the kids in the party.Incase any kids suffer from disease related to polluted water, it will be the sole responsibility of KENT to compensate. More ever I am not going to accept the machine with any flaw, whether it be LED lights or anything. KENT should replace the entire defunct machine free of cost by 16.09.16 since it appears to me that the entire machine has been damaged by the incompetent engineers of KENT and the Authorized Dealer (Water World, Jajpur Road).I am afraid that your Local Dealer will become offensive due to my complaints to KENT.Hence I request KENT to provide me Police Protection immediately. We will be approaching our Lawyers for filing formal consumer complaints and other relevant complaints separately.

    I once again request KENT to share the contact details of their higher ups and shall be really thankful to receive a call to note down my complaints. Your defunct and poor quality machine is very much under warranty. Incase you are incapable to resolve the issue by tomorrow morning kindly let me know so that your machine can be returned back to your Head Offices at our cost and we can install a new machine of reputed make at our home to suffice our Party's requirement.

    If at all this e-mail is accessible to the Higher Ups of KENT, please do make me a call in my registered phone number.

      Had purchased Kent RO Grand plus couple of months back and suddenly from 8th Sept started facing issue when water was not getting stored in machine.

      Complaint registered with request no[protected] was assured technician visit in 24 hrs.

      Got messgae with technician details who visited in 24 hrs but could not provide resolution as parts that he was carrying were also faulty.

      He conformed that other technician will visit next day and provide resolution.

      Till today no one visited and when called to technician he replied he do not have parts so can not visit.

      When called to customer care they informed that previous complaint is closed and need to register new complaint which will again take 24 hrs.

      This is pathetic services how can you close complaint without providing resolution?

      Spoke with Floor supervisor Vikas also he was Rude and showed no intention of helping and was repeating same scripted things.

      This is highly un professional from a reputed company.

      My product is under warranty and I do not want to continue with this product and want complete refund.

        This is regarding my Kent Maxx. I requested a complaint of my Kent Maxx not working properly.

        The complaint was attended by Mr. Ranjeet on 10.09.16, when he switched on the system it started working, but there was minor leakage in UV chamber so he proposed to change the chamber. After changing the chamber the system started working but the water flow was very slow, which he said will increase slowly as he had installed the new UV chamber.

        During course of fitment and trying to increase the flow of water he was disconnecting the pipes and water was falling on the choke which I asked him to take care else the choke might get damage so he asked for a cloth and then he put a cloth on the choke.

        After he completed the electric power went off so the system was not checked finally. As I was having some work so I with family also left for Delhi and returned yesterday evening.

        Today (12.09.16) when in the morning we started the system a beep sound was coming from the system. I re-registered the complaint and the new person who attended the complaint said that the choke is damaged and needs replacement.

        I requested the Service center for correcting it as its service boy fault. They said we cannot do anything with this as this can go wrong at any time and the service boy had not done this intentionally. She (Miss Deepali) said she can help if you take yearly Maintenance membership then she will adjust the entire charge of Service and choke in that, which I refused.

        Now I need your help in solving the issue. My details along with the Bill I paid on 10.09.16 is attached.

            I would like to draw your kind attention towards our problem, I had purchase KENT RO GRAND PLUS from ARVEE SALES, LAJPAT NAGAR NEW DELHI and the same was installed on 19.9.2015. in the period of one year the techniccan has visits two times. First problem was start on July 2016 when suddenly the water was leakage and spread into the floor, kitchen drawer etc. The technician has attend the complaint he said that filter (membrane) has been leaked and it is to be changed and the same was changed by him. on 16.7.2016. Further the problem was again raised on 9.9.2016. we went to the office as usual in the morning and when we came back to the home in the afternoon. I saw that whole my house is full of water. The water is spread into the kitchen, living & dining room, all the bedroom etc. The wire of some electronic instrument was also wet due to again leakage of R.O. All the items from the kitchen drawer was removed from drawer. Our daily use item has also been waste. The complaint was made on customer care and technician visit the home again he said that Both filter has to be changed and the same was replaced by him. Now today i.e 11.9.2016 we were ready to go outside from the hone due to urgent work, Suddenly the problem again started water is again leaking. By the grace of god we are available in the home at this time when the incident occurred third times.

            NOW I AM SURE IT IS DEFECTIVE PIECE BECAUSE IT IS GIVING TROUBLE REGULARLY. WE ALSO LIVE IN FEAR THAT WATER CAN BE LEAKED AT ANY TIME IN DAY, EVENING OR NIGHT ETC.WHAT SHOULD WE DO THE COMPANY GIVE THE SUGGESTION. IS IT THE BEST QUALITY OF KENT. WE ARE USING R.O.OF OTHER COMPANY FROM LAST MANY YEAR I.E. ACQUAGUARD BUT SUCH TYPE OF INCIDENT HAS NOT SEEN.

            I THINK THAT QUALITY OF KENT R.O. IS VERY MUCH LOW AND THE ADVERTISEMENT WHICH SHOWS ON T.V. NEWSPAPER AND INTERNET ETC. IS JUST LIKE TO MAKE THE PEOPLE FOOL. WE ARE VERY DEPRESSED ABOUT THE QUALITY OF KENT. I CANNOT THINK THAT A LEADING COMPANY MANUFACTURE THE SUCH TYPE OF LOW QUALITY PRODUCT. IT IS ALSO ON QUESTION MARK ON THE QUALITY OF KENT R.O. I THINK THAT THIS ISSUE ALSO TO BE RAISED ON SOCIAL MEDIA HOWEVER THE PEOPLE MAY AWARE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF KENT

            The company has required some details regarding machine number, contact number, address etc. the same has been provided to them. I am briefing about the latest status are as under:-

            The technician has visit again on 11.9.2016 at 3.00 pm and he has replaced one parts, I said that you just wait for 10-15 minutes till the tank is full of water but he said that now it is ok and problem will not repeated again. But Unfortunately the problem is not resolved than I make call him immediately he said the he will come tomorrow (monday). Now today he has visited again at home at 7.00 pm (evening) he said that the part (choke in light green colour) which was replaced on 9.9.2016 is again to be replaced. I make call on the toll free number today in the noon and try to lodge complaint again and request for complaint number, they said that the status of complaint dated 9.9.2016. is not closed as such your new numbert cannot be given till the previous complaint resolved . I AM VERY DEPRESSED ABOUT THE SERVICE AND QUALITY OF THE KENT R.O.

              This will be fourth complaint within two months purchase at a price of Rs 16, 000/- on 6/6/16. Latest fault is with LED lights going off. Bulbs had become unserviceable. All changeable parts be it Filters Led had become defective in such a short time and had been replaced This will vindicate the poor quality of Product and obviously confidence has hit the rock bottom. In addition call from alleged official of Kent Mumbai confirming the return of money on 1 oct 16 but with no follow up and keeping the cell no[protected] swiched off all the time make the deal moremurky and dubious. With no intimation about the refund, a police complaint is being given to Police Commissioner Chennai.No response shows the cowardice attitude of the company and their fear to face the reality.It is really aSHAME

                Dear Kent people,

                I am highly disappointed from your service.
                I bought Kent wonder plus before couple of days which serial number is KR[protected]. This product installed dated on 11.09.2016 at 12 o clock pm. I have many complain against kent people.
                First The service boy come for installation was talked us rudely. His name is Mr. VIPIN and mobile number is [protected]. I asked him, Why the power light of Kent is not working, He told me very rudely, Today is Sunday and I am not responsible to answer any question, This is your problem. Even he did not to fine installation of Kent.
                I complain to customer care (CC) about him and about power button today and yesterday also.
                There is no response from customer care.
                CC told me I forward your complain yesterday, There is no response form cc today also.
                As i told you this is new Kent RO, Which we bought from FLIPKART.
                Pleases tell me, This is the way to give service to newly added customer in Kent family?
                Take necessary action against MR Vipin and solve my power issue or change the KENT wonder plus.

                  We would like to inform you that we had purchased Kent Pristine Mineral RO water Purifier recently and it went defective. There was a instance were our child got electric shock from the device.Due to unfiltered impure water, from many days people in our house are suffering from cold, fever and when device went defective there was no alarm and we were not aware of it.It was leaking as well.

                  On registration of the complaint on 7th, we had technician visited us today and he checked and agreed that there are 3 main parts has gone faulty. Due to which it was leaking and shock was also coming.The main RO filter itself was not working due which we were consuming impure water. As its seen that not even 6 months are over and the unit has so many defective materials in it, due which we are requesting to replace the purifier. However, they denied to do it. We are really dissatisfied with this, because even after requesting they didn't connect us to the owner/dealer head or area service manger. And they were telling us to talk to customer care and when we spoke to customer care they said only dealer can replace it. We had to waste half of they day for this.But no resolution as of now. Its been 4 days since we have raised our complaint.As its seen that not even 6 months are over and the unit has so many issues due which we are requesting you to help us with this ASAP by replacing it.

                  Experiencing worst service experience from the Pearl infortech(dealer) staff ladies, spoke to us rudely. And rejected to connect to the manager or dealer.The technician visited didn't provide us the Area service manager details or contact number.

                  As the condition is very critical as shock out of the device was seriously dangerous/risky would have caused severe impact on our lives and within short period the unit has defect in so many parts, we are requesting to consider this genuine case and to replace considering it as defective piece. Kindly look into our request on priority and please help us in getting it resolved at the earliest.Hoping for the best.

                  When contacted customer care they were unable to help us with replacing the unit.They also didn't route us to concerned department.We have raised 2 complaint num as of now[protected], [protected])

                    We are having problem in our Ro which we purchased in 2015 December. This is fourth time that mameron and carbon has been burst, and every time the service man changes free of cost. Right now the Ro is in warranty of one year till 2016 December therefore once the warranty is over there will be charged.

                        I am an user of Kent RO MAXX water purifier for the last 2 years. The first year we enjoyed great service from Kent. In August 2015, basis the advice of the Kent RO service engineer (from authorized service center M/S Swami Enterprises in Andheri East, Mumbai), we opted for an AMC and paid INR 1500/-. We were promised 4 free services (one per quarter).

                        In the last one year, I have not received any calls from Kent RO, nor has any engineer visited my house. About 3 months back, I proactively raised a request, and still no service engineer visited us . Last month, someone from Kent RO called and enquired about service. I immediately confirmed that the engineer can visit my house anytime, as there is always someone at home. And still no one came!

                        Today, I complained once again, using the harshest tones possible, and managed to get an service engineer to visit us. This time, the person came from SSV Enterprises. He came and explained that the poor levels of service were because Andheri East had moved from Swami Enterprises to SSV Enterprises. He checked the machine and confirmed that due to poor maintenance, now several parts need to be changed and will cost us INR 3200 !!

                        Irate, when I questioned him further, he highlighted that a regulator had been fixed to adjust water flow, and this was one of the reasons for the machine damage. This was something that we had got installed basis the guidance of the service engineer last year. He had no answers when I questioned him on the service that I had been provided for the AMC charges of INR 1500/-. He promptly said that this was beyond him to comment, as he represented SSV Enterprises and not Swami Enterprises.

                        Unsure and irate, again called the Kent Call Center (Mahesh Kumar) and this is what I was told:

                        a) Despite charging money upfront from customer, there was no provision from Kent to send service personnel on a periodic basis for servicing the installed devises.( This is against what was promised and sold by the Agents at the time of selling AMC. Also the AMC document clearly states that “Swami Enterprises” undertakes to maintain the machine for a period of one year !!)
                        b) Inspite of repeated requests, he refused to connect me to higher authorities, or share details of grievance redressal cell.

                        My questions for Kent are:

                        a) What is your definition of an AMC ? After charging INR 1500, do you really provide only “on-demand” service, and no regular quarterly service ? So, if for a year my machine works well, and then fails due to non-maintenance, whose fault is it ?

                        b) As a brand that promises “purity”, how do you ensure that your service agents provide the same advice? What is a customer supposed to trust?

                          Bought Kent Pearl RO on 07 Feb 12. Not counting the cost of servicing and replacement of parts in the intervening years, In the last one year itself since Sep 2015, I have spent over Rs 16, 000/- on repairs and almost everything including the wiring inside has been replaced barring the plastic body and the water container over 5-6 visits RO now has now leaked and packed up. The technician has today indicated that the water is leaking from the UV unit and has bypassed it as he did not have the spare. He is expected back as and when he sources the UV unit. The service at my present place of stay, Visakhapatnam is particularly poor as frequent defects have been arising every 2-3 months. It has been a mental and financial punishment to maintain a Kent Pearl RO at home. Hope u will take note of the issue as we anticipated that now all parts have been replaced and we expected a better performance but that was not the case. We are just a family of four so it only as much as can be used for drinking and cooking.

                            I have purchased Kent water purification system through snapdeal. After delivery by snap deal the product was installed after 6-7 days despite repeated request. By time product was installed the snapdeal return policy was expired. Your service person installed the faulty product. He didnt showed the demo nor does he tested the equipment. Now after repeated calls and requests they are not visiting to repair the said faulty product. Moreover they are very arrogant and misbehave while talking. They are telling my parents why you buy the product online instead of buying it from local market, their service person is telling do what ever you can I will not do any service etc. Is it their mandate to make this nonsense suggestions. Is this the way the Kent treat their customers. Please ensure the replacement of the faulty product and correct installation of working equipment

                              I purchased the product on 17/09/2015 and till date had to get it serviced 4 times without any good results. Each servicing was accompanied with one or the other change of parts which has costed me from my pocket. The product itself seems to be faulty.

                              Servicing the appliance every 1-2 months is not what i had expected while trusting and buying this. The response from service center was not satisfactory. I want the product to be either replaced or refunded.

                                Mr Mahesh Gupta, The Kanpur IIT Alumni has created a system out of his greed for money, to loot the Buyers.

                                He sell his product at competitive rate with the help of Mrs. Hema Malini( The poor Lady) but the actual fraud start after that.
                                Almost at the completion of one year, comes the service part. so called, technical expert visit your place, first he'll try to sell you the AMC and if you deny them, they will advice to change 2-3 parts in the current RO machine which will cost you 4-5k. In case you do that, and god forbid if something else happen in next 4-5 months, then again the same process follows.

                                Customer care team is of no use. They always look into your complaint and share your feedback to the management and will do nothing or nothing happens.
                                End result...you tend to pay 4-7 thousand/anum for a water purifier which had costed you 15-20 thousand.
                                And the best part is that every spare has guarantee of only three months so you can't claim anything if something happens after that. If the technician comes to you place, he'll charges Rs 300 but if some problem occurs after 15 days, you have to pay again for calling the technician.
                                So if the company doesn't have qualified technician, it’s the customer who have to face the brunt.

                                In nutshell... this is the worst RO system, developed by the company and sold with the help of celebrity to befool the people.

                                This is just a sincere effort from my side to make people aware about the fraudulent company created by Mr.Mahesh Gupta.

                                  My kent ro is not working from 7th sept. and i have lodged complaint on 7th, 8th and 9th september. Everyday complaint lodged by me is being closed by kent technician (name- Azharuddun-[protected]) without attending or visiting my RO. Even on 8th i have received a message stating " dear customer your request[protected] is resolved. you have rated the service as very good. "

                                    We have installed kent pride minerals ro tm - kr[protected] in january, 2016. Unfortunately the machine is given trouble and getting jamed every other day. It seems the machine is diffective. It will be better if you can order to replace the machine which is still in its warranty period.

                                      Not getting any response from technician as well as customer care.
                                      Nobody is attending the complaint raised almost more 60 hrs. Very poor quality in response from kent customer care & technician (Mr. Tushar [protected]) assigned from cc. Complaint already register 3 days back (Complaint number :[protected]Assigned technician mr. Tushar [protected]). I have called technician yesterday 06.09.16 & come to know he was on leave.in this case request should be transfer to another one but no action. Yet there is no any call back from technician side or customer care.

                                      This is very serious issue & very bad experience with kent.
