Hi,

The Kent RO water purifier that I am using for past 11 months started giving some problem. During the month of May 16, one of the filters got burst and water started leaking from it which got serviced after following up with Kent for 10 days (though Kent claims to service within 24 hours) and again on July 6th it started creating some noise and immediately i raised a service request which was never attended to after so much of follow up with Kent customer care. I lodged another service request with Kent on 23rd of Aug 16 which again I had to follow up to bring the service person to home. He came and said that Pump is gone and have to be replaced but then I have to pay for it. I said I had raised a complaint on 6th July which was well within my warranty and that was closed without attending to it and hence Kent should be replacing the pump free of cost to me. The service guy denied my request and said I have to 2400 for the pump.

I would request Kent to replace the pump free of cost as my earlier service request has not been resolved (which I had raised for the same issue).

    Registered first service request on 6th of aug and received one call, said to visit one specific time as we are working. But no one turned up. Rather calling on their own time. I kept calling (More than 10 times) customer care and registered my complaint... So on 20th one person named shiva came but he did not even had any tool which is required to have and i even doubt if visited person is from kent technician or not because i received another call asking for what is the issue.. Which is security issue as well... Since the person who came did not have any tools, said he would come next day morning but no one turned up.in between i get message saying issue has been resolved and service is excellent which is suppose to give by me but it's updated by technician itself and if i complaint to customer care no action has been taken.

    I have been requesting costumer care everyday but no proper action has been taken and i can only see complete negligence over here.. Kent customer care doe not even track the complaint if issue has been resolved or not.

    If i get a chance to rate the service it would be in negative say -10... Worst expericnce ever had.. I never recommend anyone to kent product as service and customer care is very very poor/worst.

      I baught a kent supeme which is your top model in ro, but after a month in this started problems some time it block some time taste problem some time damage the parts.
      Mean every week we facing the same problem i rais a complaint on weekly basis. We are facing too much problem.
      Please solve my problem and give me a machine which is suitable for me according to my area water.
      Please solve my problem as soon as possible.

        Poor service from kent ro company

        I called kent ro customer care to do regular service on 17th aug 2016. Complaint number - [protected].

        The technician came and did the service. After service, the water started overflowing.

        I called kent customer care and logged another complaint on 21st aug 2016.
        Complaint no[protected].

        The technician came and informed me that value has to be replaced and charged me rs 235.

        As soon as the technician left, the problem started happening again.

        I called the technician but he denied to come. I asked for senior member phone that also he denied to provide.

        I have called kent support and logged the complaint again.

        I am frusturated with respone from kent and not sure how to get proper care of ro.

          The complaint was lodged on 16th Aug with complaint no.[protected] since then I have been following up with top to the bottom to rectify the same.

          The last SMPS was replaced on 21st July 16 vide voucher No. 303396 & within the 24 days SMPS got corrupted again . It shows the kind of equipment being used by the KENT.

          However, as per the company policy the equipment carries the 3 months warranty but I am failed to understand why it has been delayed to rectify the same.

          I was pained to learn that the quality and services was not up to the mark as assured and definitely not as per the KENT standard.

          Please note that the above issues were raised personally twice with Mr. Ajay & your receptionist who have never bothered to resolve the issue.

          Would request to please provide the email id of Dr. Mahesh Gupta- Chairman so that I can express him my mental agony & harassment which I have gone thru with the entire KENT Service Team.

            Complaint no. [protected] dated 14 aug is not yet resolved. Multiple times called helpdesk, they also connected to area manager and there was commitment from area manager to resolve the issue in 2 days but now they are avoiding to come saying that the machine is in warranty and ro filter has leak. Javed one of the support person came and saw the issue and went back saying ro issue and it is in warranty so need to wait. After multiple follow-up i realize the complaint was cancelled as it was overdue sla.
            Last month also i raised complaint the person came after 2 weeks and told ro issue but he do not have spare parts so did something and said wait for 1 week it will automatically resolved he has done some setting change.

            Need permanent resolution machine is in warranty and kent is avoiding faulty ro spare from last 2 months.

            Got phone from Kent Office, they listen to all my details and apologies for the delay and told they will assign Sr technician. The reason for closing the complaint was that my phone was reachable which is completely wrong I guess to meet SLA they have closed the complaint. I have missed call alert facility activated on my phone :)
            I have been daily chasing following people :
            1). 17 Aug : service person - Javed -[protected] - he told the machine is in warrenty and RO needs to be changed, for warranty cases someone else will come and replace.
            2). 20, 21, 22 Aug : Bablu - [protected] - he clearly told me he will come when he is free do not call again
            3). 18, 19, 20, 22 Aug : area manager : Shailendra singh - [protected]
            4). 22 Aug : Dealer for my area : Rahul Sing [protected]

            I requested for Nodal officer mail id but she confirmed that she will resolve the complaint ASAP.

            I got sms :
            at 11:26 am today that Mr Ishtiyak - [protected] will contact you.
            at 12:43 got another SMS that Mr DK Singh - [protected] will contact you.
            at 02:30 pm D K Singh called and informed that he will come and attend complaint after 2-3 days.

            I am completely frustrated now need solution for my problem. I went with the best brand in market as my parents have medical issues and I wanted to have best water purifier but service team of Kent has made sure to create more trouble for us by not resolving complaint from last 2 months. SLA to resolve complaint is 12 to 24 hrs.

            Can you please provide nodal officer mail id, it seems only solution to resolve the complaint.

            Finally on 24 Aug 3:30 pm Kent service person has come and replaced leaking RO filter but due to leakage the led was gone which shows water level. The Service person did not replace the LED .

            Issue partially resolved atleast I am getting purified water but if the service person would have fix the LED issue would have been complete solution.It would have taken few mins to fix the LED issue.

            I would like to inform you that RO which is replaced is not working, I have tested the water c0ming from filter had TDS 230 ideally it should be between 40 to 70 TDS.

            I had call Rahul Sing mob [protected] on 27 Aug 8:57 am and he agreed that there could be issue with RO and he will send someone to FIX RO & LED issue by Saturday 3 Sep.

            Kent team please see the trail it is really frustrating the customer service we are getting from brand like KENT. No issues with the product it is really excellent RO product and that is the reason I am chasing you to get it fix.
            Please chase the area manager and get my issue fixes ASAP. Also the service person need to show the TDS of water coming from Filter is between 40 to 70. they carry a device which shows the correct TDS, it was set to 50 at the time of installation.

            This is not acceptable, check the timeframe and no. of commitment given to solve the request.

            Please share the Nodal officer details. My issue only Nodal officer can resolve.

              Dear sir/madam,

              I made the biggest mistake of my life when i purchased kent ro supreme from sukhmani water world in bhatinda (Punjab) dated 9th may 2013 and spent inr 17k on this useless machine

              Since i have purchased this machine, after the initial warranty period, the machine has consistently given us trouble in terms of breaking down/defective functioning and very poor after sales service

              Till date i have spent inr inr 13, 970 on this machine within three years of purchase on this defective piece. I have got all the bills safe with me as an evidence of the same

              Added to it, the service is too very poor and pathetic at bangalore. Here at banagalore, it has broken down four times within three months from may 16 to august 16

              This has been a nightmare experience and i would not certainly recommend kent ro to anybody

              I request you to replace this useless machine and give me a new one as replacement

                  Machines purchased few months back and is totally in warranty,
                  When complaint is made, the person to whom its assigned closes the complaint without even visiting home, when i call customer care to mention same, they register new complaint and then same cycle repeats, its third time i am facing this issue.
                  The service request is being assigned to same person again and again: mr shiva ([protected]).

                  Issues with kent:
                  - no escalation matrix,
                  - no way to talk to any senior person, they just keep you on hold forever and do not transfer call to any senior, i have waited 7 times for more than 20 mins hearing hold tune, and then they only cut the call everytime.
                  - all these guys can do is register complaint, mark that as urgent if you call again, and no actions after that.
                  - promises of solving complain within 12-24 hours are fake,
                  - on top of this, they take annual maintenance cost for such a bad service at the time of purchase itself.

                  I need my money back for this. Cant be happy with this ever.

                    Kent sent their tech to my home. He was not able find out what is the issue and said me that he will come next day : 17 aug 2016. His name was pankaj : [protected] (Emp id : 1012055). Branch south ex. Delhi.

                    Since then he is not picking my phone. He took away rs 300 as service charges.
                    I have been in house without water since then. This is ridiculous. I even called the customer service again and again i was told a new tech will come, but since then i have not received any update on it.

                    Just few days back the tech came and took away rs 4000 and now i have again paid rs 300

                      I have Kent water softener... We just shifted to indore from Kolkata. We called up Kent customer care for rent installation. They came and did. But now after 1 month I feel something might be wrong. So to check it, I called the customer care to check. So they took the complain for the same and told that they will come do the needful. After 3 days when nobody came I called up again, so they told that we don't hv services for softener, I said ok, but atleast check is it working or not, so the person directly cut the line without talking further.

                          We are facing frequent breakdown of our kent ro system, (kent grand plus mineral ro). The equipment is giving us a tough time since the date of purchase i.e My 2015. I think even service engineers from Aquatake Service Centre point are not able to service it properly. The pipeline connections inside the machine got detached 5 times within a period of 1 year and 2 months resulting in breakdown of the circuit system. Every time a complaint is lodged, service personal attends to the problem but the same problem occurs again and again after every 2 to 3 months.

                          kindly try to solve our problem.

                          I am having having a worst experience with the kent RO purifier purchased by me during May 2015. The machine is giving problem on a continuous basis and I have been forced to call the service personal every now and then resulting in unnecessary expenditure. Every time the machine goes out of order, the nearest service provider, Aquatake Service Centre is contacted and every time a different service personal is sent for repair work. But after few days the machine gets out of order.

                          I request you kindly take up the mater with the service provider, Aquatake Service Centre, so that the problem may be sorted out immediately or I shall be constraint to take up the mater with the consumer forum.

                            I have a kent ro super+ which was installed and serviced by kentservice centre technicians.within six months of installation the output reduced and it took 3hrs to fill 8ltr tank.kent replaced ro, filters, it was working fine. as per routine maintenance the filters and other parts were serviced/replaced by kent service center techs. on 14.12.2015 kent replaced ro membrane, sediment fliter, carbon filter, and FRT TUBE, for these they charged rs 3850.few days back on 16.8.2016 water leakage noticed in pump, ro inlet tubes.i called same agency for recification and serviced.the changed pump and tubes and charged rs 2750. the technician said may be cause of installing over size ro and filters.SUPER+ RO AND FILTERS SHOULD BE OF 8 INCH SIZE. but ro andsediment filter replaced on14.12.2015 is 10 inch size and he says to replaced by 8inch size.due to fault of kent technician i have replaced pump the pump failed due to excessive load/back pressure because of over size RO.i request kent management to instruct the service center to to replace with 8inch size ro and sediment filter and also return the charge for the pump paid.all bills are available.the address of service centreis OM ELECTRONICS SERVICES.AUYHORISED SERVICE CENTRE FOR KENT R O system...Perumbakkam chennai600100...[protected], , [protected]---email [protected]@gmail.com

                              Pathetic call centre and one the one of the worst customer service experienced!!
                              I purchased kent grand+ ro system in april 2016 which is having 3 free service for 1st year.
                              After 3 months as per the process, i have reached kent service call centre ïƒ
                              • on 14th august (Request no.[protected] where i was assured that the service will be done 24 hours. No one came till 15th august.
                              • on 16th one engineer (Mr. Vivek mob no [protected]) called and reached my house for service. On reaching he mentioned he has forgotten his screwdriver and will come back tomorrow with his servicing kit. We shared out own screw driver and other general tools so that the work is not delayed. The engineer opened up the kent unit and later told that he does not have a part which is required hence will come back later.
                              • however, same day (On 16th) the issue was resolved without service being completed (Sms received by me from kent). On querying for reasons with call centre as to how the request is resolved, there was no answer or any update. Instead the call centre raised a new request[protected] for the same problem, again with assurance that this has been put on urgent request
                              • i am waiting for the service completion still. My unit is kept open so i am not even able to use it. I am deprived of drinking water which was available before the service was started!!
                              Now it is more than 2 days after new the request was raised and 4+ days after the original request where i am yet to hear any update or proactive call from kent on the service.
                              Numerous calls to kent call centre are of no use as during every time, the helpdesk person mentions that your request is open and will be serviced within 24 hours
                              On requesting to speak to their senior officer for escalation, the call is put on hold for more than 15 minutes and later gets disconnected after long hold. I experienced being put on hold for more than 5 times by different call centre executives without any call back.
                              This was my first call to kent systems after purchasing their product and with the experience being meted out by kent, i now doubt i will ever buy any other kent product in future or will take amc from them for the purchased product.

                                Kent ro has perhaps the worst customer service. I have annual amc contract for kent ro installed at my home. For 2 days after lodging customer complaint, they kept on promising to send a service engineer. But these are all false promises by their customer care team. Kent ro owner dr mahesh gupta seems to be a big fraud who flaunts his scientist background and has even become president of phd chamber of commerce. I reality, he and his company do not bother about customers once they have bought their product.

                                  My name is anup agarwalla, i am using kent grand plus water purifier. Few days back my purifier was giving some problem so i went to kent service center at golaghat, assam. On 6th of august the service engineer came to my place and checked my purifier they changed some candle some parts and they also changed the pre sediment filter candle, then i asked the price of the candle they told me rs.500, then i told them to change the complete filter which i remember it cost around rs.700, then they told me that it cost now rs.1300, and chance they changed the duplicate sponge candle and charge me rs.500, which i think should cost around rs.60 to rs.70. They told its an original kent product. The parts they changed is also it think is in good condition. They also changed the wire harness and charged me rs.250.

                                    Complaint lodged on 12 august 2016 (Refer complaint request no.[protected].
                                    Technician visited on 13 august 2016, the technician spent barely 2 minutes and did not do anything. Cleaned the filter external body with cloth and said its done.
                                    Complaint lodged again on 14 august 2016 (Refer complaint request no.[protected].
                                    Technician visited on 17 august 2016, again the technician spent less than a minute and said water pressure was incorrect and he has adjusted now.

                                    None of the technician in both the visits are ready to listen what the problem is and are fooling us.
                                    Understand from the customer care that warranty on some spares is only for 6 month. So i have a strong feeling that it is a deliberate attempt to stretch the issue till 6 months are over from date of installation and then charge the customer.

                                    The problem is that when the filter is full the uv light which should be off as was initially keeps on fluctuating continuously. Some time it stops supplying water.

                                    Please arrange to supply new unit of filter or full reimbursement so that we can buy product from a reliable brand who can provide better service.

                                      Dear sir, i am a resident of qtr. no. 4, mtnl exchange, shakti nagar, g. t. karnal road delhi. on making a complaint to customer service centre on 8th august 2016, my problem was attended on 9th but the machine was not repaired even though rs. 2750/- was taken on account of spares even though only one part (membrane) was changed and additionally rs. 2000/- was taken for amc. but the problem was not cured. the attendant mr. kapil kumar gave his no.                                         I purchased my kent pearl water purifier in dec 2015, from kent dealer aqua world in jayanagar bangalore. It was working fine till 10th august, and stopped working on 10th august 2016 after which i realized the mistake i committed by trusting this brand. It has already been 5 days the water purifier is not working, i have spoken to the kent service center 5-10 times but still not one has come to fix the issue. One engineer nagesh visited my place, checked the issue and said "sir membrane is not working, you need to contact the dealer from where you purchased the purifier. I am surprised to hear this as this company is claiming of 1 year warranty but dealers are not ready to fix the issue. I called aqua world dealer and he said sir this location doesn't come under his support boundary. They even suggested to contact the kent area sales manager." i spoke to kent asm chandrakant but that also of not use. Now after banging my head with kent service team for 5 days i am writing this here considering someone from kent to look into this issue. This 16k purifier has just turned into a garbage from last 5 days and no one from kent is ready to fix the issue. I want kent to take back their water purifier and refund the amount as the product is still under warranty and following up with the support is just a mental harassment.

                                        If there is still no response next i throw this piece of junk in garbage and go to consumer court to resolve the matter.

                                        very pathetic service from this company, . After 7 days the issue is still not fixed and engineer closed the request. I called the service team to check why the request is closed when the issue is not fixed, he says they don't know who closed and why it is closed. This is the worst support I have seen.

                                        I asked him to reopen the request but Support rep asked me to create new request. I insisted to reopen the same request as it is quite possible that they close the new request as well without attending the issue. He has no response, and disconnected the call after keeping it on hold. This company must be fined heavily for charging hefty amount to consumers, providing worst service and causing mental harassment. The worst thing is there is no one to escalate the issue to, sent email to [protected]@kent.co.in, spoke to their supervisor, Area Support manager but no one has time to respond and fix the issue.
