I am trying to get my kent ro water purifier get it reinstalled and i have lodge request for the same on 12/06/2016. I am hardly getting any response. The service person came to my house but he had not required parts to install the same. He told me that inlet valve will come after 12-15 days. I got the same from ahmedabad and ask him to come for installation. On 27th june, he came for installation and he install the machine. But after 30 minutes, machine stop working and leakage from the tap started. I am calling him since last 3 days but he is not coming.

Till now, i have called customer care and designated person for more than 200 times but still my issue is not solved.

Hoping for your quick response on the same.

If this is not solved immediately, i will complaint in consumer court as i am paying 100 rs. Daily for getting drinking water.

    Hi team;
    I am fed up of continously calling complaint dept and no action has been taken yet since ppast 4 days;infactt 4-5 months ago my macchine waranty was over hence i renewed it paying 3500 to agent namd hasan frm noman enterprises which is your registered service center in chembur. He took money and now he is not turning up for servicing since past 4 months. I am ccalling him and he gives all excuses... Somtimes he says he is in his village;he is not well;he doesnt respond. I am fed up now. I have called and registered complaint also. Your contact centre people say technician will cme in 12 hrs since past 4 days but no one has come and now i am really pissed off.. If no action is taken in next 24 hrs i would register a fraud police complaint against kent. I have all amc copies and details. Please dont force me to do it.

      I had called a service personnel from an authorized kent ro service provider in Bhandup (E), Mumbai. The service personnel had no clue about the issue and always tried to mint money by overcharging on every filter/ choke etc. When this was caught and taken up further with the head of kent servicr of this zone, the monerary part was though resolved but the problem still persists.

      Utterly disgusted with the kind of service kent ro provides.

      If you cannot provide service why sell a product.

      The same thing happened when the RO was installed. It took hundreds of phone calls and almost more than a month to get it working.

      I am utterly disgusted with the kind of service and personnel that kent ro provides as after sales.

      I really recommend all to avoid KENT for any of their products.

      Never buy and never expect any service on the product.

      Absolutely useless.

        I am receiving many calls everyday, asking for few verification to activate the account. I dont understand after an year of purchase, what sort of verification and account activation is needed for product worth rupees seven thousand. I had co operated during the first call and had given few details. Everyday new person calls and irritates despite of requesting them not to bother. Please stop this torture or this will lead to consumer court settlement for wasting my few hours in this irrelevant stupid procedures. I may be satisfied with the product but now i feel i paid to buy this headache

          Our kent water purifier not working around 2weeks we have been contacting their jeypore ffice and they have been telling us that they are going to send the engineers in 24hrs and that never happened. They also provide engineer's name and no but when ever we check with the engineer he says that the branch head sending him some other location.

          We stay in a rural place of orissa, nabarangapur dist, dhodra. Here typhoid is very common and that is the reason we brought kent and now we are facing this problem and their service dept doesn't bother.

          Wow so here it marked it as resolved. Now after N numbers of calling, writing emails the engineers showed up Friday(1-Jul-16) around 8:00PM. And checked the machine and said UV tube not working and we have to replace it. Said they didn't have the product right now and would returned on Monday and fixed it.. and now the same problem we keep calling the BBSR No and asking when the engineer would be available and he would say he would check and let us know.

          And it has been 3weeks and we are without pure water.

          Just want to understand if you can't give service why sale such product in this area.

          SHAME and I m feeling so cheated.

            Very poor service. My kent ro was having a leakage but was performing right. After calling Kent service the person operated the machine and now its not even working. Instead he was asking us to buy a local candle saying it is better than that of Kent. Such is the service here that a total of 3 of my neighbors have switched to Aquaguard.

            Resolve this at the earliest. SHAME!

              I had made a service request at 8 am on 24.6.2016 as the kent water purifier is not at all working (I had purchased the item during the month of september, 2016) and requested thatthe engineer should come before 10 am or after 6 pm.

              All the engineers are disturbing me during office hours and no one is turning back at the requested time

              Even after 72 hours.

              The engineer no. Sent through sms by the company is switched off

              I am complaining the company every day. Only a robo reply is coming.

                I have purchased my kent ro in december 2015 and by now it has been repaired twice once the person came to change the candle the next day again the kent was not working again there was a leakage in some other part... We are facing too many problems coz o[censored]r water purifier.. Kindly get ur service appropriate.. If we have got such an expensive water purifier so obviously we expect some efforts from ur side!!

                  After 10 years o[censored]sage of aqua guard reviva, i thought to invest in kent and i have just bought kent ro grand + 2 days back and installed.
                  After 4 flush, there is persisting smell in water.

                  Very disheartening to give complaint to customer care for your brand new product, after that they have assigned technician and when i spoke to technician he said "what h will do if water is smelly and refused to come" his name is bala krishna.

                  I will give 01 out of 10 to kent, and believe me i find eureka forbes aqua guard has done better job in last 8 years.

                  It is sincere request to please assign senior engineer to look in the issue, or please refund my money by taking back your 3rd grade product.

                    I have bought kent ro on 04.07.2011 s/n: kr[protected].
                    From last one year this machine is giving continuous problem and headaches to me. Now it is getting defective on monthly basis.

                    Following are the details of repair and service:

                    I have replaced my entire filters on 01.01.16 for rs 3600 an again on recent complaint dated 26.05.16 the kent engineer (Name - utkarsh emp # 9718) told me to replace the entire filter set for rs 3600 again as it is defective. The new filters installed in jan 16 was not even 6 months old hence i refused to replace them. The technician removed all internal connections and told me that filters have only 3 months warranty and without it machine will not work and charged rs 300 for service.

                    I placed another service request and asked the customer care to send another technician who noticed that all internal connections were wrongly fixed and re-fixing the machine worked temporarily and even before one month it is again faulty. Today i. E., on 25.06.16 barely a month after last service call, i requested for service but the kent customer care told me that it will again cost me rs 300 for technician visit. I asked for escalation, i requested for customer service head contact number. But i was denied.

                    Finally the call was transferred to ms. Rakhi (Floor supervisor) who contacted area service manager but he refused to provide service without charging me service charge of rs 300 again. I requested her to provide me asm's contact number or email id but i was denied.

                    Let me inform that the last technician himself told that very recently kent spare products were spurious and there were lot of complaints in the market. I am currently paying heavy service cost for machine which costed me rs 14, 750 in july 2011.

                    The overall service cost of this ro machine is proving to be more expensive than the service cost of a car.

                    I am highlighting this issue so that this company provides me immediate replacement of spurious parts and provide me service free of cost otherwise i would like to explore all legal options available to me to protect my interest.

The second technician noticed that all internal connections were wrongly fixed and then re-fixed the machine and it began to work for 2-3 days. It worked temporarily and even before one month it is again faulty (not working). Today i.e., on 25.06.16 barely a month after last service call, I requested for service again but the Kent customer care told me that it will again cost me Rs 300 for technician visit. I asked for escalation, I requested for Customer Service head contact number and email id. But i was denied.

                    After much request, my call was connected to Ms. Rakhi (Floor Supervisor). After much request she contacted Area Service Manager, who refused to provide service without charging Rs 300 again. I requested Ms. Rakhi to provide me ASM's contact number or email id but I was denied. She told me it was against company policy.

                    Also as a matter of fact the last technician told during his visit, that very recently Kent spare products were spurious and there were lot of complaints in the market. I am currently paying heavy service cost for machine which cost me Rs 14, 750 in July 2011.

                    The overall service cost of this RO machine is proving to be more expensive than the yearly service cost of my car (1100cc).

                    It has been observed the customer service and spare parts of Kent has degraded a lot from earlier 2011. The quality of service, technician visit and customer care are very callous and untrustworthy.

                    I am highlighting this issue so that this company provides me immediate replacement of spurious parts and provide me service free of cost otherwise i would like to explore all legal options available to me to protect my interest.

                      Since May 8, 2016 We have been facing problems with water dispensation in Kent Water purifiers. We have purchased 5 Kent Pearl Water Purifiers and all the purifiers are under warranty. Despite making repeated emails and countless calls for repair/servicing of water purifiers, the Kent service centre didn't bother to service the water purifiers and every time they used to buy some time for arranging service but till date no one has attended servicing.

                        I made the above complaint regarding the filter change as machine stopped working. The service guy mr. Ram bahadur-[protected] turned only on 21.06.2016 at 06:00 am. Such a nice time to visit. However i received a message that complaint is closed on 19.06.2016.

                        It seems kent is living in a different era.

                        This fellow changed the filters (Sediment filter, carbon filter and ro filter and charged rs.4000/- and did not give any bill. As soon as he left around 06:45 am on 21.06.2016, the autocut did not wotk and now the tank is overflowing. Also the auto flush is not working. More over this fellow mr. Ram bahadur stopped taking may call.

                        Such a pathetic service by kent. I am ddisappointed with these type of cheating services.

                        I request you to take immediate action on following points.
                        1. Depute person to service it without ant=y additional charge.
                        2. Provide your accessories price list and furnish the bills of rs.4000/- if paid extra, refund the same.

                        i bought kent pearl on 25 june 2016 with pre filter. that man collected rs.1900 for pre filter, total cost is 18900rs.he didnot give any warranty card for that pre filter. we think it is not genuine one, i contacted the customer care, but they simply told to contact the dealer.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I have purchased the kent RO in the month of Feb 16. Recently,
                          I have registered a telephonic complaint No. [protected] on 14 Jun 16. The
                          problem is of leakage from membrane. 48 Hrs lead time was asked to attend
                          the complaint. On 16 Jun I have once again contacted to the customer care
                          after 48 Hrs from lodging of above complaint. Once again it was promised
                          that the complaint will be attended within 12 Hrs. But, nothing was done
                          from your end. Again on 17 Jun, 18 Jun & 19 Jun 16 I was given same
                          assurance from customer care. It has crossed the limits when my phone was
                          kept on hold for more than half an hour by your representative. The exact
                          time of contact was 10:44 A.M.

                          I have purchased the Kent RO because of its best goodwill in the market,
                          but since 14 Jun 16 till date my family is compelled to drink unfiltered
                          water which has caused serious problems to young kids (medical report
                          stating that the condition is deprived due to drinking o[censored]nfiltered
                          water).

                          Once again I reiterate that you please take this matter on top most
                          priority otherwise I have to use my consumer rights through consumer
                          forum. Hoping, that the matter will be resolved soon to build a strong
                          customer relation.

                            Dear sir,

                            In the last week of february 2016, our kent water purifier stopped functioning and also outlet was not draining any water. We telephoned kent customer care service center to get attend the problem with our kent grand water purifier. To our request, kent sent one technician by name mr. Shivakumar (Mobile no. +91-[protected]) who represented from authorized kent service center, rain drops services.
                            He inspected the kent purifier system and advised us that all filters has to be changed. We agreed to that, and he changed all the filters, for that he also provided the bill.
                            Even after changing all the filters, the waste water output was very less and gradually decreased day by day. Immediately we telephoned the rain drop services center as well as mr. Shivakumar explaining our problem. We have been calling them from last one and half month and as much as 25-30 calls were made asking them to attend. They showed less interest or was asking for money to come. They were reluctant to attend and solve our problem (It seems they were money greedy than serving the customers).
                            Today, 20-june-2016, kent water system has stopped working and water is leaking from inside.

                            We appreciate any help we receive from this.

                            i have kent RO water purifier. Rain Drop Services charged me AMC Rs. 5000. multiple times their "technician" will come and do some tinkering. next day again it will not work. then they charged an additional Rs. 2300 for some parts. water leaking all over. in spite of calling them 10 times each day where they promise to send technical "today for sure", there is no response. different person answers the call every time. sometimes they stop taking calls when they see my number. they give phone numbers of "managers" which are out of service. i have come to believe they are a big fraud. i have asked them many times to refund my money they have taken to stop their services, but they are refusing. i am sending them a legal notice, and we consumers need to stop such fraud to cheat us. unfrotunate personalities like Hema Malini endorse such crooks.

                              I have purchased kent ro from you in the year 2011.Serial number of the product is kr[protected]. I paid charges of rs 5600 to your service engineer which include rs 2300 as amc charges and rs 3300 for the change of filte on 5.10.15. Again we called your service engineer for regular servicing of the product on 16.06.16 we were informed that we have to change the filters and he charged rs 4450 for the change of filters . In this way i have to pay rs 10050 for the change of filters with in a period of 9 month where as i feel that your cost of the new ro is nearly[protected] . I contacted with your call center and than he connected me with the senior office because he could not give satisfactory reply for my queries. We were told that you have to change the candle because your water is not up to the mark. When i argued that we have our own tube well in the society and during the 1st four years the filters were changed 2 times than how the filter can be changed twice in 9 months. Than he told me that it is due to the excess use of water by us. When i told that we are only 3 members and my duty timings are between 8am to 6 pm and my son is working with to it company and his duties hours are from 3 o clock noon to 3 o clock night and he sleeps at 4. O clock and get up at 2 o clock noon and there is only my wife in the house than how can consume too much water .Then there was no reply from your seniors. I felt cheated by your company. You have taken away 10000 from my pocket against the cost of your new ro which is worth rs 15000. We feel that you have given the silent instruction to your engineers that they should try to loot the customer as much as possible in the name of filters. I am not satisfied with the way you are cheating your customer. I request you to conduct an inquiry in this matter otherwise i will move the consumer court . Thanks

                                I made a huge mistake buying kent ro purifier. There customer service is worst. I called repeatedly (20 times or more) for fixing installation issue but no one showing up to my place. Every time i call they said it would be solved in 12 hrs. I call everyday and waste my time. No sure what to do. I would urge future customers not to buy kent. Once bought, it would in their mercy.

                                I say that again, worst customer care service. Do not buy!

                                  I have installed kent grand+ ro water purifier at my home at buldhana. The kent service was called through their mobile no, email repeatedly since 10 days from dated 08-jun-2016.. But there are only false commitments & time pass strategy by kent. Also there are fake "problem resolution" sms on my registered mobile by kent.
                                  Actually their technician has neither reported for problem resolution nor their is any communication from him. Overall very very bad after sales service by the company. All their customer care representatives are non-reliable persons.

                                  Sir I have complained regarding the subject matters at least 10 times till now. Kent Customer Care representatives have always given false commitments like the problem will be resolved within 12/24 Hours but the problem is not at all resolved . When I have contacted to the said service person Mr Hemant Nikam on his mobile No-[protected], he always says that the company has never informed him to attend the service call. In short very very poor after sales service from M/s Kent & very casual approach by the Customer Care.

                                    My water purifier ken grand+ is not working since yesterday. It was purchased on 23/08/2016 and still under warranty. This is the 4th call since it was installed. I think this is bad piece or failed product and i seek replacement of new or higher piece with better reliability. We cant risk our life due to unsafe water caused by irresponsible and unsafe product.

                                    They came and did a temp fix but its not yet replaced. May i know the number of highest authorities please?
                                    It has again failed in a weeks time after they fixed it. Can someome please provide me contact number of VP or GM ? I need a new piece and this type of patch work is not going to help.

                                      He said both filters were gone - initially mentioned rs 1500 for the filters + service charge - after we showed the online prices (500 per filter), agreed for rs. 1000 + 300 (Service charge) - he kept changing the connections of the smps (Tripped several times) - said smps is gone after that - mentioned he'll come next day - said rs. 1300 for smps - i called customer care and they said it was rs. 935 - however he argued that it was a different smps (Even showed him the online price - kent site) - when asked him to show the price tag/cover, he said he didn't have it - he wasn't agreeing - paid him total = rs. 1300 for filters + rs. 1300 for smps = rs. 2600 (Seriously, my worst experience ever - rs. 2600 for service of a rs. 5500 unit - will never recommend a kent product nor purchase one again) - the service technician tried to take the smps too, but i took it from him - on checking the smps, only a resistor was gone - this is by far the worst experience i've had as far as service of appliances are concerned.

                                      Ps: this is just the start, i'm going to take to all the online forums possible.
