Dear Sir,

I have purchased the kent RO in the month of Feb 16. Recently,
I have registered a telephonic complaint No. [protected] on 14 Jun 16. The
problem is of leakage from membrane. 48 Hrs lead time was asked to attend
the complaint. On 16 Jun I have once again contacted to the customer care
after 48 Hrs from lodging of above complaint. Once again it was promised
that the complaint will be attended within 12 Hrs. But, nothing was done
from your end. Again on 17 Jun, 18 Jun & 19 Jun 16 I was given same
assurance from customer care. It has crossed the limits when my phone was
kept on hold for more than half an hour by your representative. The exact
time of contact was 10:44 A.M.

I have purchased the Kent RO because of its best goodwill in the market,
but since 14 Jun 16 till date my family is compelled to drink unfiltered
water which has caused serious problems to young kids (medical report
stating that the condition is deprived due to drinking o[censored]nfiltered
water).

Once again I reiterate that you please take this matter on top most
priority otherwise I have to use my consumer rights through consumer
forum. Hoping, that the matter will be resolved soon to build a strong
customer relation.

    Dear sir,

    In the last week of february 2016, our kent water purifier stopped functioning and also outlet was not draining any water. We telephoned kent customer care service center to get attend the problem with our kent grand water purifier. To our request, kent sent one technician by name mr. Shivakumar (Mobile no. +91-[protected]) who represented from authorized kent service center, rain drops services.
    He inspected the kent purifier system and advised us that all filters has to be changed. We agreed to that, and he changed all the filters, for that he also provided the bill.
    Even after changing all the filters, the waste water output was very less and gradually decreased day by day. Immediately we telephoned the rain drop services center as well as mr. Shivakumar explaining our problem. We have been calling them from last one and half month and as much as 25-30 calls were made asking them to attend. They showed less interest or was asking for money to come. They were reluctant to attend and solve our problem (It seems they were money greedy than serving the customers).
    Today, 20-june-2016, kent water system has stopped working and water is leaking from inside.

    We appreciate any help we receive from this.

    i have kent RO water purifier. Rain Drop Services charged me AMC Rs. 5000. multiple times their "technician" will come and do some tinkering. next day again it will not work. then they charged an additional Rs. 2300 for some parts. water leaking all over. in spite of calling them 10 times each day where they promise to send technical "today for sure", there is no response. different person answers the call every time. sometimes they stop taking calls when they see my number. they give phone numbers of "managers" which are out of service. i have come to believe they are a big fraud. i have asked them many times to refund my money they have taken to stop their services, but they are refusing. i am sending them a legal notice, and we consumers need to stop such fraud to cheat us. unfrotunate personalities like Hema Malini endorse such crooks.

      I have purchased kent ro from you in the year 2011.Serial number of the product is kr[protected]. I paid charges of rs 5600 to your service engineer which include rs 2300 as amc charges and rs 3300 for the change of filte on 5.10.15. Again we called your service engineer for regular servicing of the product on 16.06.16 we were informed that we have to change the filters and he charged rs 4450 for the change of filters . In this way i have to pay rs 10050 for the change of filters with in a period of 9 month where as i feel that your cost of the new ro is nearly[protected] . I contacted with your call center and than he connected me with the senior office because he could not give satisfactory reply for my queries. We were told that you have to change the candle because your water is not up to the mark. When i argued that we have our own tube well in the society and during the 1st four years the filters were changed 2 times than how the filter can be changed twice in 9 months. Than he told me that it is due to the excess use of water by us. When i told that we are only 3 members and my duty timings are between 8am to 6 pm and my son is working with to it company and his duties hours are from 3 o clock noon to 3 o clock night and he sleeps at 4. O clock and get up at 2 o clock noon and there is only my wife in the house than how can consume too much water .Then there was no reply from your seniors. I felt cheated by your company. You have taken away 10000 from my pocket against the cost of your new ro which is worth rs 15000. We feel that you have given the silent instruction to your engineers that they should try to loot the customer as much as possible in the name of filters. I am not satisfied with the way you are cheating your customer. I request you to conduct an inquiry in this matter otherwise i will move the consumer court . Thanks

        I made a huge mistake buying kent ro purifier. There customer service is worst. I called repeatedly (20 times or more) for fixing installation issue but no one showing up to my place. Every time i call they said it would be solved in 12 hrs. I call everyday and waste my time. No sure what to do. I would urge future customers not to buy kent. Once bought, it would in their mercy.

        I say that again, worst customer care service. Do not buy!

          I have installed kent grand+ ro water purifier at my home at buldhana. The kent service was called through their mobile no, email repeatedly since 10 days from dated 08-jun-2016.. But there are only false commitments & time pass strategy by kent. Also there are fake "problem resolution" sms on my registered mobile by kent.
          Actually their technician has neither reported for problem resolution nor their is any communication from him. Overall very very bad after sales service by the company. All their customer care representatives are non-reliable persons.

          Sir I have complained regarding the subject matters at least 10 times till now. Kent Customer Care representatives have always given false commitments like the problem will be resolved within 12/24 Hours but the problem is not at all resolved . When I have contacted to the said service person Mr Hemant Nikam on his mobile No-[protected], he always says that the company has never informed him to attend the service call. In short very very poor after sales service from M/s Kent & very casual approach by the Customer Care.

            My water purifier ken grand+ is not working since yesterday. It was purchased on 23/08/2016 and still under warranty. This is the 4th call since it was installed. I think this is bad piece or failed product and i seek replacement of new or higher piece with better reliability. We cant risk our life due to unsafe water caused by irresponsible and unsafe product.

            They came and did a temp fix but its not yet replaced. May i know the number of highest authorities please?
            It has again failed in a weeks time after they fixed it. Can someome please provide me contact number of VP or GM ? I need a new piece and this type of patch work is not going to help.

              He said both filters were gone - initially mentioned rs 1500 for the filters + service charge - after we showed the online prices (500 per filter), agreed for rs. 1000 + 300 (Service charge) - he kept changing the connections of the smps (Tripped several times) - said smps is gone after that - mentioned he'll come next day - said rs. 1300 for smps - i called customer care and they said it was rs. 935 - however he argued that it was a different smps (Even showed him the online price - kent site) - when asked him to show the price tag/cover, he said he didn't have it - he wasn't agreeing - paid him total = rs. 1300 for filters + rs. 1300 for smps = rs. 2600 (Seriously, my worst experience ever - rs. 2600 for service of a rs. 5500 unit - will never recommend a kent product nor purchase one again) - the service technician tried to take the smps too, but i took it from him - on checking the smps, only a resistor was gone - this is by far the worst experience i've had as far as service of appliances are concerned.

              Ps: this is just the start, i'm going to take to all the online forums possible.

                I have bought your purifier last year as your product has very decent goodwill in the market, but today i m very disappointed with your after sales service, the engineer of your kent department are not up to mark regarding servicing. I have called mainy times to your enquiry no. [protected], i asked for complained registration but they deny to give me particular detail, i also called your kent ro service center kanpur mr. Nand kishor -[protected], but no proper response from there side. So kindly so needfull as soon as possible.

                  Hello Sir,
                  I have been complaining to Kent service people to this no. [protected] one person named rakesh came and changed so many things and he had convinced us to take a scheme of amc service for 1 year cost around 8000 bucks. After 4 days water was not coming I have called up these people for almost 2 weeks finally someone came he didn't do anything he said rakesh will change it, I have tried calling rakesh to his numbers [protected] he said he will come with in the day, so many days has been passed no body is bothered to turn up. My family is sick due water pollution around.

                    My machine was serviced on 25/02/2016 with required spares to be changed. Membrane and frt which was costing around rs. 2750/- (Bill enclosed) has warranty period of 3 months (Around 91 days).
                    On 12/06/2016 heavy leakage started from machine. A complaint was lodged regarding leakage. While service engineer on complaint, came to check the issue, found that membrane and frt was busted and causing leakage in machine. He told to change them with new ones on chargeable basis (Latest bill enclosed).
                    My question is that how those costly items which were warranted by kent ro for 3 months, got busted just after passing 3 months.
                    This is a quality issue of spares because of that i have paid rs. 2750/- in my crisis time.

                      My kent grand+ ro is not working just giving continuous beep sound. On 10/06/2016 i called the customer care and my complaint number was[protected]. I was told that within 24 hours engineer would come and fix the problem. Till now no one has come. Everyday i call the customer care again and again and their response is "now this is registered as emergency and you will be served within 12 hours". God knows how long is this 12 hours. Today (14/06/2016) i again call them. Now they are saying there is no complaint registered with my number. That means if they can not serve the customer they just simply delete the complaint. Today they again assigned me another complaint number[protected] and again started that cycle of 24 hours!!!
                      Dear kent, if you can not give proper service then please do not sell your product.

                        Sir my machine is creating problem the day i purchased it it gets repaired every month still in warrenty i want that why damaged machine are sold out and so many complains about kent are they resolved also or not or i have to go to consumer forum. they sell damaged products even in service they put allready used parts because of which we get fed up .

                          I bought a kent r. O. Of your company long back. Your representative used to come to us on call for any complaints. One of your representative mr. Pradip aich advised us to make an
                          Amc contract with your authorised service provider m/s swastik
                          Marketing & service of 136, thana road, kolkata-700 016, branch office at
                          5, chinar park, calcutta-157 for better service. I did so by paying rs.4400.00 per
                          Annum and they have been providing services to us. This time they have already taken rs.4400.00 from me on 5th june 2016 and renewed my amc from 5.6.2016 to 29/7/2017. Your r. O was overflowing and we were not getting
                          Water from it, so i called him. After that he (Mr. Pradip aich) is not coming and
                          Neither sending his staff. I am suffering since last more than 10 days, your ro is out of order, i am forced to bring drinking water from other places in such a hot weather, but he is making excuses and not coming to repair it, and stopped taking our calls. His mobile nos. Are [protected] and [protected], we have been calling him but he is making excuses, has taken
                          Full cash of rs.4400.00 from me and still i am suffering without water with
                          My family. Please take up the matter with such rogue and cheater, who is acting on behalf of you, a renowned company. Please see that either i get

                          We took amc from Mr. Pradeep working at m/s swastik marketing and services of 136 thana road kolkata -700016, branch office at 5, chinar park, kolkata- 700157
                          I made the payment of Rs.2800 annually and they didn't gave us the single service for that.
                          We first called him alot and he always gave fake hopes of coming in just 10 min and he never came.
                          We are a family depending on this kent r.o. and are facing a great problem of leakage now..
                          The leakage have spread to our electric socket and now the problems are getting worse. The taste of water is changing, machine is making too much sound, machine do require maintainence.
                          Water is the daily/hourly need and these people are faking around
                          Mr. Pradeep's contact no. are [protected] and [protected] . Do take a major step against him and the agency and do provide us the service as soon as possible and we want our money back too.
                          Kent is a renowned company if such cheaters will lead it how can we trust on then?
                          This is hopeless!!

                            Dear sir/madam,

                            We have taken AMC on 16th May 2016 for Kent RO for water purifier, see attachment. Our water purifier is not working for last 4-5 days and we have raised complaint about it to the service provider. Unfortunately no service is given from them. They are not picking up the phone and if they do, they are just buying time to fix the issue.

                              Dear sir,
                              Purchased a ro 0% wastage purifier online (17k, kr[protected] and delivered by maxell elec on 31 march 2015. Which had blockage 3 times and fixed, last mid of april changed all the filters and serviced (Paid) due to the same issues. Pn 1st of june find flow blocked & complained to cs. I have called 5 timed to the cs and the given technician one to other many times, negative, not even responded positively. Pls understand my helplessness and do the necessary arrangements asap, i'm a family person. Hope to have a speedy action.

                                I bought kent prime tc ro+uv water purifier last year. It was working fine but this year started giving problems. It stopped working and when we filed a complaint in the customer care section, they told us we need to buy new filters and also renew amc which costed 1800. New filter cost was 3800 whicb we had to pay and was not covered in amc. We paid whatever they said. Despite that, our purifier again stopped working within a few days. Service person comes, makes it work and again the purifier stops working in a few days. This has been happening almost 5-6 times in the past 2-3 months. And now the situation is such that the filter stops working every 2-3 days. We have asked the company to replace our machine since it seems faulty and keeps getting bad. We are left high and dry without water and we have to purchase filtered bottle from market which again adds to the cost. We need a permanent solution to this as we have been already harassed a lot till now.We want our entire money back as we no longer want to be associated with kent anymore. They have very poor customer service and have failed to provide a permanent solution to our problem till now.

                                  This is a serious complaint I would like to raise regarding the services provided by Kent. I got a servicing of my Kent Grand Mineral RO today morning. The name of the engineer was Pradeep with mobile number [protected]. Mr. Pradeep tells me that the company has now stopped giving service for its products and it asks its customers to change membrane and filters every six months. Even for AMC customers, he says that the company will not provide facility of cleaning the filters. He told me that if he cleaned the filters it will be solely the responsibility of the customer if there is some damage and the customer will have to buy new filters.

                                  I spoke to the call center and they said I can escalate the problem and speak to anyone I want. Mr. Pradeep also said I can speak in the company in this regard. I will also like to add that Mr. Pradeep was very rude when he came to my place to service my machine. He was speaking very loudly and I don't think this is the manner in which a company representative should speak to the customer. I would like to know if there is any policy like the above which the company has recently introduced which customers are not aware of. If it is so then it is useless taking AMC.

                                  I would like the company to raise a complaint against this executive Pradeep for speaking in such a rude manner to the customer. This was not expected of a company like Kent especially in the age of high competition in the RO segment. We are customers of Kent since 2007 and this is very disgusting from your company.

                                  Kindly let me know what action has been taken in this regard against Mr. Pradeep.

                                    Sir i bought kent supreme in january 2015. From the day of purchase there is too much failure of the part again and again. After warranty period i have paid 4000 rupees due to failure of the parts and also i have complaint before 2-3 days ago. Please try to sort out the problem otherwise i will go to consumer court. Because again one of the part failed due to that we are suffering.

                                      I bought an kent ace+ ro water purifier from flipkart. Flipkart says kent will come and make a home installation in 2-3 days. I am waiting for almost 20 days. Very poor service from kent. Since the product description did not match, i requested for a return which was not honored by flipkart. I am stuck with this water purifier of no use at home.

                                      My request is not to buy kent for its very poor installation and support.

                                        Hello,

                                        Product purchase month : january2016.
                                        Product no & details: kent ro purifier.
                                        Purchased city : hyderabad
                                        Issue with product :
                                        1. The location where we stay has a problem of hard water thus, in order to enhance the performance of the product we had installed additional sediment filter (Colander-suggested by authorized kent service guy) along with kent purifier.
                                        2. Its 6 months since our purchase but to our disappointment we are every month facing some issue or the other. Each time the service guy turns up and changes the colander (Water sediment filter) and charges 200/- per colander and the problem continues.
                                        3. This month (June) we again had problem with the product not able to filter water quick, service guy informs of a failed motor and replaces it.
                                        4. Its not even a week since the issue was resolved and my water purifier again starts to choke up on filtering water.
                                        The product is a complete disappointment to me as every month it comes up with some problem or the other and the authorized service is not able to give me one final solution.
                                        Moreover, i find this product inefficient as it is not able to filter water as a standalone product.
                                        I request the concerned authorities to kindly take appropriate action.
                                        Its high time kent starts spending money on improving quality of service and product instead of giving big advertisements and funding money to celebrities!!
