This complaint is from ernakulam, kakkanad, chethathukara. Sir here is power cut and it exceed more than 2 hours from the beginning itself am trying to call kseb kakkanad and the phone is engaged.2hrs am trying to report my complaint and the phone is engaged. This is not my first experience. That's why am complainting. I think they are misusing phone / they may remove the resever. Please take attention on this. Its not only my complaint many of them experienced the same. Please take attention thankyou...

    I am ansar pk, consumer no[protected]/ bill no[protected]. I have received the bill on 05/06/2018 which is nit showing the current meter reading. I suspect they issued the bill based upon previous bill which i consumed more due to several small functions going on. My current bill is inr 7, 348 including inr 2, 022 deposit amount. Its surprising we are not available most of the days in home and they raised the bill without showing the current meter reading. Please take action upon this matter and i attach the current bill for your reference. I request to take retake the meter reading once again and issue the exact bill against the consumption. We already paid the bill yesterday through online which is to be adjusted in next bill if any problems found.

      illegally charged 500 rupees for offing the supply for cutting tree

      The lineman illegally charged (Without any receipt) 500 rupees for offing the supply from the post to the house inorder to cut a tree. I tried to give 300 rupees. But he forcefully snatched 500 rupees from me. He is from kseb office 28th mile under main office 'kseb kallambalam'. When i enquired to some people, i got the information that all the officers in that office is of same mentality. They are very rude and they are snatching big amount...

      online payment failed

      My consumer number is[protected], recently payed my kseb bill through tech process payment on 09/05/2018, the online bank translation deduct amount from my bank account (State bank of india), the same time kseb online translation shows failure status (). So please clarify the amount goes to where or refund to my bank?

      I am a resident of pinarayi panchayath. We the residents are facing frequent power cuts without prior intimation since past one month (Mid april 2018). Mostly i call up the nearby kseb office, they always have some excuse or other. And every time i ask as to when the power would be resumed they always answer that it cant be said.
      These power cuts occur during daytime as well as night time. Its causing great inconvinience to all the residents. Kindly look into the matter and pls take necessary actions.

        In ernakulam district, thoppumpady area cibinuous power failure is now a usual thing on day and night. It affects people - kids and students - very badly especiallly in nights. The very hot and mosquito not allow the people to sleep.
        Hence it effects the health of the residents adversely.

        Please consider the as a complaint and make steps to avoid the unpredictable and continous power faiure in our area.

        A rain comes on 26/4/2018 3 p.m and supply go off.till the time power supply not comes. this areas are comes under transformer placed in pattari.under mazhavil a tree felldown. section engineer have no knowledge about the area or no distribution fuses are provided for solve this problem with in time of 24 hours.

        Today I made an online payment of my electricity bill through Mkeralam mobile app. The money is debited from my bank account. But the transaction shows failure status.           Sir,

          This complaint is from george manjadi at chellancode, near vaduvanchal the 6762 ambalavayal electrical section in wayanad district. I have two residential services at my premises:[protected],[protected]. For the last two weeks i, and all other consumers who have the same supply line out of the three three-phase lines have complete power outage because of the line fuse on this particular supply line which is completely burned out. Three days ago one evening we called the concerned complaint section at the office in ambalavayal and was advised to find someone in the locality to work on the fuse issue, and if we could not succeed to call back at the office. We did so and found this line fuse totally out o[censored]se but managed temporarily to replace it. We called the service center again and was told that they would try to repair the problem sometime during the week. This we consider not only a bad but an irresponsible action on the part of the service personnel concerned, and we are now totally out of power supply and are expected to wait for the mercy and special consideration from them for the replacement of a line fuse though we are expected to pay the bills promptly no matter how good or bad the service is.

          I request you kindly to take immediate action about this problem. It is so very urgent as we are left without any power supply.

            not getting 3 phase line connection instead one line only.

            There is frequent power failure at night in perandoor area in ernakulam.. Behind perandoor bhagavathi temple, perandoor bridge road, elamakkara, ernakulam.in this hot season it is so difficult to sleep without fan after hectic work schedule. This has become frequent for nearly one month. Whenever we call the kseb office we won't be able to get connected. Please fix this since we are unable to sleep at night which in turn ruins our work day.

              There is no light on the street post in front of my house for months and i complainted about it 2 days ago and i called them again and they were so rude to me and cut the call immediately.                     I am living in nilambur, malappuram district, kerala. Here the kseb cut the power supply every day. Today 27 jan 2018 the power gone at 9 am and it will come after 6 pm. When i call nilambur kseb they said that the power will also cut tomorrow morning 9 am to 6 pm. This is very disgustful. We are paying electricity bill but we have to tolerate this kind issues. We fedup with this.in major cities in kerala like kochi the power will not cut. But we are in villages. We need a proper system of electricity. Please kindly take a action against kseb. Thank you

                        Sir,
                        Sub: complaint regarding an exorbitant short assessment bill levied along with my kseb bill.
                        Ref: bill no.0832225 worth rs. 5317/- issued on 27.11.2017
                        It is hereby brought to the notice of the hon’ble forum that i am extremely aggrieved to receive a bill from kseb, kollam termed as ‘short assessment bill’ amounting rs. 5317/- along with the normal demand notice (Issued every two-monthly) worth rs.3330/- (Totaling rs. 8, 647/-)
                        The above mentioned short assessment amount is not at all on par with our usages. The grievance about the repeated exorbitant bills we received was complained to the asst engineer, kseb kollam in writing during april 2015 &feb 2016. (There records are still in their office). The then asst. Engineer, mr babu, had inspected my home in view of my repeated complaints found out that our domestic connection is not using any gadgets that warrants huge amounts as electricity bills.in view of our repeated greivence for the same he gave instructions to replace the faulty meter and initiated other corrective measures also.

                        Thus due to the functioning of a faulty meter and its consequences we were paying huge amounts as bill payment to the kseb for the past couple of years (Refer previous bills)
                        Now after two years, the kseb unnecessarly charged us rs.5317 for none of our fault. (Bill details in the foresaid reference) hence i gave a complaint to the asst. Executive engineer on[protected] for which they explained that this amount is due for us as per their audit report.
                        The bill clerk displayed a page of that audit report in which this particular amount was mentioned. The calculation of the same was purely under a presumption. Had it been the level of reading when the meter is functioning then the actual amount when the meter is not functioning will be ‘so & so’ this calculation that we might have consumed this much units is ridiculous and these type of assessment kseb is likely to enforce in future was never intimated to the consumer at any point of time all that what the kseb, kollam had done for my recent complaint is that they just granted four instalments to pay that amount. Hence i had made an online payment of rs. 4660/- (Demand notice amounting rs.3330+rs 1330 which is the first installment). Hence i request this honourable forum to waive off the unjustified short assessment bill.

                            In the month of march and april 2016 only we used to 1 ac for 4 hours and the current bill get rises from 800/900 range to 2000. After that months we are very much care to don't use ac and less use of electricity. But bill never came down.
                            After the strict control, in the august he bill shows 501. We thought that it's usage came into effect on bill.
                            In the month of october billing time i have seen that bill amount 98 and acd 870 and got call from electricity office vattappara that i have to pay 870 then only they can upload bill. So i paid the amount. Next day again i got a message of monthly bill of 1636. So while enquiring with kseb people it came to know that my meter was complaint from the month of june and they are simply charging the previous month charge to me.
                            In the month of june kseb is aware of damaged meter and without any information to consumer they are exorbitantly charging and looting the customer.
                            It is not a good practice that one month unfortunately consumption goes high and the consumer is forced to pay the high rate for the rest of the month even after less usage and the people's who are following the conservation principle.

                              I have a complaint to asst. Engineer, gandhi nagar electrical section, ettumanur, kottayam on 25/08/17 regarding the sub lines to few homes behind my house (Consumer no. 9087), which is approaching to my house sun shade due to related electric post leaned. Subjected lines before was passed my neighboring plot. Now its passing close to my house and is very dangerous situation. After my above complaint one officer visit /inspect and informed it will takeout by fixing some cross bar on electric post within two days but not rectified till now. Kindly do necessary arrangements early as possible regarding the matter.

                                  Please find the above details for the web complaint i have raised on kseb web self service website for reference.

                                  1. Bill charges was exorbitantly high since april 2016. When we checked now the office mentioned the meter not working since last april, hence they charged the previous month bill throughout. This never informed any one and never came for replacement
                                  2. A person coming every time and take the reading and my parents used to pay the amount as per the slip
                                  2. My parents (Senior citizens) were living alone at home it always be within the minimum usage units
                                  3. As per junior assistant engineer kulanada, almost above one year the digital meter was not working that never informed by the reading person or did any attempt to change that.
                                  4. Once we noticed and raised the issue on the complaint section on 11/10/2017, next day the meter is replaced.
                                  5. How ever, this month also we received the bill of 1800 rs to pay.

                                  I hereby request to consider the above factors and do the necessary to get the justice by reimburse the extra money charged by the department due to its negligence and lack of customer care.
