I paid electricity bill of kseb rs.3460 through my pre paid sbi rupay card ×××× ×××× ×××× 7716 on 10 December 2020. The payment failed. But the amount not reversed date. Please take necessary action to reverse the amount at the earliest. My name is Krishnan nadar. My consumer number is[protected]. I complained many times to kseb customer care. They told me the amount will be reversed within 14 days. But that did not happen. Now they are telling me to contact you. Please do the needful to reverse the amount at the earliest.         Defective meter device resulting in excessive billing.Though informed the concerned authorities no action is taken so far on the ground of non-availability of meter in stock.When Billing is done when the meter is defective then on each passing of days the current bill is going to rise as billing is done on average basis.Earlier tents were using upstair portion and the total bill amount came to Rs 10000/- during lockdown period.Now the tenent has vaccated and the upstair is vaccant now.So when the average billing is done we are compelled to pay the electricity bill for which we have not consumed it.Therefore the meter may be replaced at the earliest.

          in spite of three telephone requests, over the last 4 days, no one has come to help connect power
          All bills are paid and an advance also has been paid.

              Dear sir,

              May i draw your kind attention to the frequent breakdowns of electricity in our locality and the great inconvenience it causes to the residents! There are failures of electricity several times in a day. Most of the time, power outage lasts for less than a minute. Sometimes, the current is switched off for several hours in a stretch. There is no day noticed with uninterrupted power supply.in this pandemic situation it employees and other coorporate sector employees are working from home and we are suffering a lot due to the regular power failure. Even students suffer heavily as their online classes are interrupted by network disconnection due to power outage.

              This is tough time where jobs of most o[censored]s in corporate sector are at risk. The frequent power interruption is affecting the productivity of our work adding to our work pressure too. Please understand this issue and help in resolving.

              (While typing this complaint only within a span of 20 minutes, 5 times power went off)

                I n. Haridasan, resident of navayath house, kanniampuram, ottapalam, a consumer no.[protected] which is under the preview of kseb substation, ottapalam, would like to bring to the notice of the following complaint to respective kseb authorities for early favourable action.

                That one of the streets light provided near my house is not working/burning since a long period.
                Please depute an authorized technical persons for getting an early replacement of bulb or repaired the same. (Could not quote post number as the same is not clear, post is just in front of harisree nivas).

                Location is just adjacent road to “jamal sales corporation” (Or opposite of bright motors), kanniampuram.
                Your early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.

                    During feb, march, april, may, -2020 almost all consumers forced to pay huge bills due to the inability to take reading in correct time. I was explained by k. S. E. B official that the increase is also because of change in billing cycle ie is from odd months to even months, for that reading considered for 2.5 months. But accordingly the telescopic tariff slab is not enhanced. That load is put on consumer. Again this time also the reading is taken after 2.5 months time ie from 8.6.2020 to 21.08.2020 and the reason is not known to me. Because of this the bill is increased compared to normal bills. Changing billing cycle two times is totally injustice. Why you are not taken bill after 1.5 months to correct the billing cycle. Otherwise the telescopic tariff structure is also modified accordingly. Please revisit my bill at the earliest.

                      I, as obn 42, had already submitted a complaint on KSEB for not attending the complaint registered with them on 5 Aug 2020. They simply acknowledged receipt of the complaints forwarded by you with a remark "The complaint has been resolved " without caring even an iota of responsibility. This was reported to you as an additional response from me against the irresponsible attitude of the KSEB officials. I am now forwarding this as an additional complaint for speedy rectification of the issue. In this case I am paying for the services as per their terms and conditions and they are obliged to meet my requirement up to my satisfaction. May, I therefore, request for necessary help to solve my outstanding issue.

                        I have been trying to make a bank transaction to pay off the bill for the month but every time after the whole transaction has been done, I'm directed to transaction failed message. I have tried multiple times but received the same outcome.

                            Consumer no[protected] of vyttil a section office (55561) in ernakulam, kerala is facing a problem of over reading and resulting over billing after installation of a new meter. A comparison of the readings recorded with the old and new meter will establish this fact unambiguously as no extra gadget to produce excessive consumption has been added. Hence this meter needs to be re calibrated by an authorized agency to ascertain its accuracy. Inaccuracy detected needs to be accounted and the billed amount adjusted suitably.
                            Additionally, a solar panel of 3 kw capacity was being used to supplement the kseb supply and a dedicated meter purchased from kseb was installed separately to measure the solar power consumption. A rebate of re 1.00 used to be discounted from the main bill as an incentive. This practice has been discontinued from october 2019 leaving the dedicated meter purchased from kseb redundant. This process was being carried out as advised by the kseb and was in force till oct 2019. I no longer needs this gadget and the minimum the kseb can do is to buy back the meter sold by them rather than off loading to me.
                            Complaints on these issues had been made to them through grievance redressal procedure, but these remain unactioned so far. Hence it is being forwarded for grievance redressal by the consumer forum.

                            In the complaint above I see remarks made as " RESOLVED' against various errors except the last 3 items at the bottom. In this connection I would like to notify that neither any one has contacted me nor any action initiated so far on the faulty meter.

                            Hence it remains a secret how my complaint has been resolved by distant healing method.

                            I earnestly request the authorities to take action against those who falsify data and make erroneous remarks against consumer complaints.

                                  On 27th june 2020 morning 8.30 overload supply on domestic line happens and it damaged one of my bsnl wifi modem and my refrigerator. We reported the issue on 8.30 am on phone but the department rectify the mistake after 10.30 am. So kindly arrange to compensate to my loss.

                                    I had remitted fees to check the electricity meter of my house consumer no:[protected] on 23.05.2020 and given a complaint regarding the exorbitant bill dated 22.05.2020 for a period jan-may 2020.
                                    Checking meter installed but they reported no problem for the meter in my house. Before disconnecting the checking meter it is their duty to show me the final reading of two meters installed. I am not convinced the way the board did the checking. After that i checked wiring of my house twice with an electrician and found no problem for the wiring. Still the present consumption is showing above 10 units per day.in this house we are not using mixie, washing machine, heater or air conditioner.

                                      My KSEB bill amount of Rs. 8765/- in Consumer No.[protected] in Palakkad - Kalpathy sector (Bill No.[protected] dt.8/6/2020) is excess of slab-wise calculation.
                                      Actually earlier reading was taken in February, but shown in Bill as 7/4/2020. An amount of Rs.1186/- was paid on 9/4/2020.
                                      The benefits of slab wise calculation may be extended to me and revised amount may be charged.
                                      I have paid the total Rs.8765/-, the excess paid may be considered as advance and adjust in next bill.

                                        My average consumption of electricity is 224 units for two months, and after this lock down period i have got a bill amount of 10416 rupees and it shows a consumption of 1418 units for four months. I have filed a complaint with kseb and they send a msg showing that that complaint (Complaint no-[protected]) is rectified without even giving a call.
