I have travelled along with family from Lucknow to Delhi in kingfisher flight with following details. The boarding pass of my son is lost some where. I am working as dy general manager in NTPC and i was travelling on official travel for transfer movement. For claiming reimbussment from company, i require duplicate boarding pass immediately. Kindly do the needful .

    Myself and wife had planned to go to Kathmandu so we booked two return tickets on Internet with the help of " Make My Trip.com" ( Travel Agent ). We reached IGI Airport at 11:45 am fromGurgaon where we are resiiding at present.We showed the tickets at the entrance where our PAN cards were checked and we were allowed in. After some time we reached the Kingfisher counter and stood in line. When we reached the counter and showed our tickets we were asked to show our Passports/Voters identity cards. We showed our PAN Cards to the person at the counter. I was then told that we will not be allowed to board if we do not show the Passports/voters cards. We were shocked as we had brought PAN cards & Driving License only. The person at the counter then asked me to report to Air Port Authority for any consideration.I immediately rushed to the person whom I was referred to. The lady heard my case and replied that she was unable to help and we could not board the flight ( Departure time : 1. 20pm ) By then time had lapsed and it was not possible for us to get the Passports from Gurgaon.
    I even told the persons concerned that why were we allowed to enter the Airport without passports. The persons checking the tickets at the entrance should have told us that no one could board any flight without apassport/voters ID card.
    Finally, the tickets had to be returned immediately at a loss of Rs 7600/ & all the arrangements made at Kathmandu for a period of 4 days. Moreover the harassment & humiliation we went through was unbearable.

      I booked an airline ticket from Chandigarh to Jammu online on 04th April 2010. Ticket reference no PNR-FAZIZJ. The ticket was cancelled by me same day and cancellation voucher was emailed to me after a fortnight when I called them on their toll no[protected] as well as lodged complaint on [protected]@flykingfisher.co.in. The Ticket refund No is[protected]. However, despite repeated mails they have not refunded my money. Instead they ask for card details and other information just to delay the things. Whereas Mr Vijay Mallya is busy in investing money in different sports activities, his airline has become bankrupt and is holding on the money of hapless customers.


      Thank you for your further correspondence to us. We regret for the delay in our response to you.

      With reference to your email, we request you to kindly provide the expiration date of the credit card number ending with 0138 to enable us process the refund.

      I regret to point out that the below mentioned refund is yet to be credited to my credit card account although more than a month has lapsed. It is strange that airline of the stature of Kingfisher is resorting to unfair practices of blocking customer funds for such long periods and has made me to rethink about booking of tickets with your airline. Before I am compelled to take further action, I hope you will track the status of my refund and advise.

        The Astt. VP of Kingfisher airlines does not know what is happening in his department and he makes loose comments to the Gold Card Members of Kingfisher airlines

        As a Gold card member I am allowed to be at counter 30 minutes before the departure time. I was well in time say 35 minutes before departure. The dark completion lady refused to check-in with dirty looks.

        I was then assisted for booking at another flight after paying the penalty charges of 750/-. So far so good. There after when I came back to Delhi and approached the management for this lapse,Gaurav Rathore, Assistant Vice President, Quality and Guest Commitment wrote the following reply :

        Dear Dr. Prakash,

        Thank you for your email of 20 January apprising us of your recent experience
        with Kingfisher Airlines when you traveled between Delhi and Hyderabad
        on 18 January. I appreciate your loyalty as Gold
        Tier member of King Club and note that you have frequently flown with
        us so that you could experience the high standards of our service and
        hospitality; thank you for your patronage.

        I am however concerned to learn of your disappointment when on checking
        in for your flight at Delhi Airport you had to be reissued a boarding
        pass despite having availed of our web check-in facility. I
        am aware that guests who have web checked in need to get their boarding
        passes stamped at the check-in counter, which is a CISF requirement;
        please accept my regrets for any inconvenience caused in this regard.

        I note you had a disappointing experience on your return flight as well, when you were unable to board your flight IT 803 from Hyderabad as you arrived late at the Check-in Desk. I appreciate your chagrin as you felt the staff at Hyderabad Airport failed to provide you with appropriate assistance in the given situation.

        Dr. Prakash, you would be aware that check-in
        staff has a set of pre-flight procedures that has to be strictly
        followed several minutes in advance; this includes security checks by
        CISF or police personnel at Airports, random secondary checks by the
        airline operator and subsequently the actual boarding procedures. This
        necessitates closure of the check-in counter 30 minutes prior to
        departure. While staff is encouraged to exercise their
        discretion and do all possible to assist guests attempting to take a
        flight, unfortunately on this occasion any
        action to accept you on the flight at that stage would have affected
        the flight departure and inconvenienced other guests already on board.

        That said, I am aware that you were subsequently rebooked to travel on IT 3803 with no extra charges levied. Your feedback has nevertheless been taken up with the staff at Hyderabad;
        the importance of ensuring that all guests are treated with courtesy
        and consideration has been reiterated, so that we consistently deliver
        the quality of service that is a hallmark of Kingfisher Airlines.

        Thank you once again for writing to us despite your disappointment. I
        hope you will allow us the opportunity to regain your confidence as we
        look forward to welcoming you on board our flights again.

        The concern here is that a senior person of his stature in an organization does not get or is not being informed the real fatcs and figures and he replies on incomplete information.

        1. The boarding pass says 30 minutes before departure and he also says so, but I was refused 35 minutes before departure.
        2. He says that the new ticket was issued with any extra charges, when I was issued another ticket after paying Rs. 750/-, which is already on record.
        3. If he has respect or consideration for Gold Tier member, then he would have made some compensation as a good gesture of his position, but he more acted as a clerk, reason was his language of reply.

        I never knew Mr. Mallya has such caliber of top management in his organization. really a shame for him and his organization.

        People please read this with this in mind that you may not expect any relief from them. This is how they grow to this height, like the old Sahukara system.

        Oh My God... this is really sad.

        As a Kingfisher Airlines Gold Card Member myself, I cannot believe that there are people with like Dr. Sunil Prakash in the same tier.

        I always considered the Gold Card Tier to be an exclusive tier for people from dignified backgrounds, not imbeciles who indulge in mud-slinging for petty amounts of money.

        I would be ashamed of even sharing lounge space with such whiney people.

        Factually speaking, I have never faced a situation where my complaints have not been addressed effectively by Kingfisher Airlines. Evidently, this is article is nothing more than a glorification exercise or a pre-emptively planned brand sabotage.

        All the best Dr. Prakash, you are evidently going to be a very unhappy person for the rest of your life with expectations and the selfish attitude that you have just displayed.

          It was an excellent aircraft for the journey no doubt from Dubai to Bangalore and to Mangalore on the 8th March 2010 Flight no. IT046. I was traveling with my family seat no. 3A, 3B and 3C respectively.

          It was the first horrified journey experience in my 18 years of traveling with different airlines and this happened when I travelled in your airline for the first time. The food served on board had a RUSTED METAL NAIL in the non-veg dish(rice pulao) which even broke a piece of my tooth with great pain, I realised the standard of your 5 Star service of your flight.

          Immediately this incident was reported to cabin crew airhostess and chief steward hostess Miss ADITI and Miss NEHA respectively. Then have seen and checked the METAL NAIL in the dish served and have promised me that the same will be referred to the ground staff for further investigation and report the same to me. Now it is more than 22 days since the complaint was lodged to the staff on board and I was told that the one of the senior staff member will contact me with the details provided with complaint and non of them have contacted me till date.

          I hope with this mail you will take necessary action and contact me regarding the incidence. Let me know why should not I report this to the MEDIA when you have not responded ?. And also lodge a complaint with DNATA on my return to Dubai along with copy to the press media.

          Now I am really afraid to travel with your KingFisher Five star airline.

            Hi to all those who fly with Kingfisher,

            This is my recent and worst experiences dealing with Kingfisher airlines. In short “Never fly - The Choice is Simple”

            I booked tickets for my family from Melbourne to Mumbai. All went well until Singapore by Qantas. Good on you Qantas! At Singapore my family were to board by Kingfisher at 10:15 by IT30 to Mumbai which conveniently connected to another airline to Goa. Kingfisher rescheduled the flight to 17:55. The changes greatly affected my family e.g. The hotel booking at Singapore was just for overnight stay as they arrived the previous evening. Now had to be extended, reorganise the whole logistics and other indirect impacts.

            Having got the information early, I started to contact them. Firstly, searching for their customer contact number from Melbourne was unsuccessful. 1800... number didn’t work. After much trouble I managed to get hold of their number through google search. However, I was treated like a football. I had to call various offices e.g. Bengaluru, Pune... and finally after a long wait came a response. At first, I was happy and had some hope from Kingfisher. Guess what! “Sorry Sir, we can’t do anything about it as there is only one flight for the day from Singapore to Mumbai” and end of conversation. Well as a customer, aren’t Kingfisher suppose to take accountability for all the inconveniences caused? Nothing happened, after several to and fro emails, I get an email from Kingfisher as below

            “Dear Mr. ....,

            Thank you for your email of 18 February, regarding your experience when you and your family are scheduled to between Singapore to Mumbai; we regret the delay in reverting to you We welcome feedback from guests and appreciate that you have chosen to write to us.

            We note your feedback regarding the change in schedule of your flight IT30 from Singapore to Mumbai and can understand your disquiet as you have a connecting flight to Goa on another airline. At Kingfisher Airlines, we are committed to adhere to our flight schedules; in fact it is a key indicator of our Quality Commitment, and something we strive to achieve. Yet, despite our efforts, there are times when operational exigencies or infrastructural constraints make reschedules inevitable.

            Your feedback was investigated; the flight in this instance has been rescheduled due to operational reasons. We understand that such rescheduling may impact the travel plans of guests and in the given circumstances, our staff will do all possible to alleviate the inconvenience caused to guests. In view of this schedule change, we understand that the Reservation staff have offered you the best possible alternative options; we regret if the same have not met your expectations.

            While we can appreciate your sentiments, we regret our inability to comply with your request for any compensation. In doing so, you can be certain that no discourtesy is intended.

            We look forward to welcoming you and your family on Kingfisher Airlines.

            Such a lot of garbage in their responses above. They don’t care mate! Their poor performances will only affect their image and costs travellers like me with unexpected expenses. In this instance the inconveniences has costed me over $670 (direct cost). Why on earth should we wear these additional expenses? It's unfair and we expect Kingfisher to pay for the consequences. They are not at all taking the accountabilities or responsibilities of the situation. Very unprofessional services in the Airline sector especially on International sector.

            I wonder how many customers like me have to go through all this trauma on a regular basis. I pity those who are treated worst on domestic flights. Good luck to Kingfisher airlines!

            I am totally a very unsatisfied customer. Not a customer of Kingfisher Airlines ever:(

            Kingfisher Airlines — Extremely Poor Customer Care Service

            This is one of the most horrible companies when it comes to service. They overcharge you for the fare, but when it comes to the simplest of query they seem to be lost somewhere. Firstly it is next to impossible to get through their any damn office numbers, by God's grace even if you do, your call goes unanswered. I am not exaggerating but my boss lost something at the airport during his flight and I went mad trying to contact these people just to check how would we get back our lost item, but all in vain, I tried calling them from 10:00am to evening 6:pm, in all their possible Mumbai & Delhi office numbers, but not one single call was answered. Later at evening 5:30 1 call was answered by no bigger then their security guy in their Nariman Point office, I complained to him that no one answers the call and he had no answer except that he gave me another number which again as usual went unanswered. This is the most horrible thing anyone can expect travelling in their so called Kingfisher First and this is completely unacceptable. Earlier too I had, had the same problem and I had written to the complaint department from their website but nothing was done about it. I would never ever recommend this airline to anyone; even a low cost airline has a better service than them. I personally would never take the pain of travelling by Kingfisher.
            i am a celebrity, i am a regular frequent traveler no 7141374, I was traveling on Kingfisher morning flight kolkata mumbai seat no 17 F, two of your your ground staff namely Mr. Sasank and Ms. Amandeep, they have misbehaved only for execs weight luggage, at the time after lot of request they have not taken debit card and not allowed to take cabin hand bags.
            I think that appears routine with Kingfisher airlines. In my case also my flight schedukle is changed from 10:15 on 27th March 2011 to 17:55 same day i.e. 8 hours of extrea time to be spent there after arriving from Sydney. On inquiry I was told that they are helpless & nothing can be done. This change also I noted accidentally, while inquiring for some other reason, since they have not bothered to inform though I have booked much in advance, ( atleast 3 months before). On Quantas site one can find whole detail of my itinerery, but nothing is awailable on Kingfisher site, as it appears that they do not have such facility. Naturally in future I will not prefer to fly by Kingfisher & hope others also will be wise to take lessons from such episodes, unless the airlines takes remedial measures it will be hopeless to continue with them.

              I am a resident of Lower Parel. The footpaths which lead to Curry Road Station are in a very bad condition. They have narrowed the footpaths to widen the road fr motorists bt the pedestrians are inconvienced by it. Only a single line of pedestrian is able to walk on it. There is so much crowd whn passengers frm curry road station go towards lower parel and people who want to go from lower parel to curry road station are unable to do so. Request you to please widen the footpath to its original size nd also repair it completely. Or i[censored] could tell me whom i shd complain. Any particular site or tel no.

                Dear Madam/Sir,

                My name is Gautam Viswanathan. I had the extreme misfortune of having to travel by Kingfisher Airlines from Mumbai to Bangalore on 06Feb2010 (Saturday) by Flight number IT-0103. My wife and twin daughters aged 18 months accompanied me on this extenuating trip.

                Due to fog in Bangalore the take off was delayed by almost two hours (scheduled time of departure being 09:15 am).

                While enroute there was an announcement that the flight would be redirected to Chennai since the Bangalore runway closes for maintenance between 12:30 pm and 3 pm.

                We landed in Chennai at around 1 pm and were asked to wait in the aircraft itself for security reasons. No refreshments were served except on take off at 2:30 pm when cookies were served.

                With two infants in hand and no arrangements for food for any of the passengers, this trip has caused extreme mental agony. An airline of the stature of Kingfisher should have atleast budgeted for the scheduled maintenance at Bangalore and planned the take off accordingly. I refuse to accept that the airline couldn't have arranged for adequate refreshments for all passengers, especially when the flight time coincided with the lunchtime.

                My kids were inconsolable and my wife and I had a tough time maintaining their equanamity in these circumstances. I wish to therefore register a formal complaint against the airline management while equally mentioning that their air hostesses were very courteous and helpful and did the best they could under the circumstances.

                  Dear Sir,
                  Myself is a silver card holder of Kingfisher airlines FFP No XXXXXXXX. This letter is a complaint regarding the guest care and handling by the airline officials including the flight commander, air hostesses and the ground personnel. I was flying IT 3635, PNR: XXXXXX from Delhi to Lucknow on 22nd January 2010. The flight was delayed by 1 hr 15 minutes due to weather conditions and after it took off and flied to lucknow, we were told that we are returing back to Delhi.

                  The issues and concerns for this flight are:
                  a. Commander Sanjeet of the flight announced pre-departure that the weather conditions at Lucknow are below our minima but still he flied to Lucknow. If he was apprehensive of landing at Lucknow why did he waste 2.5 hours of people's time
                  b. On return to Delhi we were neither told by the air hostesses as to what next steps may be possible nor served any snacks
                  c. When we arrived at Delhi, we were held up in the flight post taxi and stoppage for 15-20 minutes on the pretext that the commander is talking to the ground staff and when we will disembark all our worries would be taken care of very professionally.
                  d. When we finally reached the arrival lounge, the duty manager Gagan Pahwa was not able to make us understand as to what can be done, what would be the options for us and on top of it he misbehaved with many passengers. Overall, this guy lacks management skills, conflict resolution skills and handling people skills. He kept on creating confusions and thus caused escalation in the chaos that ensued at the airport.
                  e. Our baggages arrived not less than 45 minutes late despite many o[censored]s having tagged it as priority
                  f. The accomodation arrangement till our next arrangement was done only when we debated with him and that costed all o[censored]s around 45 minutes delay. The accomodation arrangements are pathetic where in we had to stay double in one room. Imaging sharing your bed and the blanket with someone you are completely unknown. The accomdation was initially done at Hotel Loh Mod but he shifted all o[censored]s to some smkall sub-contracted hotels like Era and Opera at Mahipalpur. Imagine the pain of having to drag your luggage to another hotel when you thought that the uncomfort of 4.5 hours is finally over.
                  The whole experience is so bad that I may term this as worst day of my life courtesy Kingfisher airlines.

                  Truly frustrated and utterly disappointed at the unprofessional behaviour of such a reputed institution.

                  Indeed it was a kingfisher experience......which i would have to try hard to erase from my memory.

                    Pune staff ( Mr Makarand , Ms Swapana) has not cooperated to avoid the accident of my baggage with partially opened shutter on Belt.
                    My Baggage ( with Red color handle with care TAG) was having a camera (costing in seven digits)

                    Inspite of my humble several request :

                    1. stop Belt and open the shutter
                    2. stop the staff outside - not to put my box on belt
                    3. Allow mt person to collect the baggage personally or
                    4. Ask your person to handover my baggage personally

                    Both has abused me and asked me not to shout and assured me that they will settle the claim upto Rs 50,00,000.00 ( Fifty Lacs) on same day

                    Ultimately My box met with accident in front of all o[censored]s.

                    I found both of them as shameless
                    I found damage of outer cover & packing Box costing Euro 500.00.
                    Luckly My camera is safe.

                    Over all they are spoiling reputation of Kingfisher Airlines ........
                    and enjoying there life at the cost of Kingfisher ...

                      I booked a flight of kingfisher from chandigarh to indore via delhi. I was to be shifted into a connecting flight from delhi and was given a boarding pass upto indore from chandigarh itself. The flight from chandigarh got delayed and these people told me that i will miss the connecting flight and so to decide whether i want to board the flight or not. They did not provide any other flight or even any stay in delhi and told me to book another flight for the next day. They did not give any sort of refund as well.

                        I was bound to travel to Delhi from Pune with your flight IT-3153 departing at 11:30 am from Pune, which unfortunately got delayed to 11:55 am. I had checked in at 11:15 am. At the counter I was given my ticket through my Pnr, i proceeded for security check followed by the check in. The staff present at the Kingfisher airlines counter Miss Shalaka refused to check me in, the reason being late check in. The flight had been delayed and i pleaded for being checked in but to my dismay i was not allowed to travel. The manager Mr. Makrand tried controlling the situation by using words like “iska samaan bahar phekdo” and “get out”. He used abusive language against my elder brother who tried talking to him about the reason for not being allowed to travel. He would just not listen to us, and avoided talking to us for quite a long time. We were asked to purchase a new fresh ticket for which i declined. Later when we threatened to use legal action against them they suddenly changed their behaviour and offered to put us on a next flight and asked to pay the difference amount for the ticket. Since im a very faithful customer of your airlines i agreed and ive booked my tickets for early morning that is the 8th of Dec. I would request you to please compensate me with the problems ive faced. This incident has made a dent in the image my family and friends carry in their minds about flying with Kingfisher. If it would have been my fault in any way the i would have been refused from even travelling with the next flight.

                        Hope you will look into the matter and take the necessary directives against the responsible manipulative personnel. I hope you will get back to me regarding the same.

                          I have cancelled a ticket as per the details given below. As per the

                            I book the ticket of King fisher Airlines. Flight no IT 3633, Flight date- 30 May 09,PNR no - LPGRJX from chennai to Port Blair. After travelling i don't have the ticket with me. The Travel agent who has booked the ticket closed his agency and gone to Tamilnadu. I want to claim my money from my company. For that i need the Ticket of my travelling but unable to get the ticket. Pls help me out and solve my problem of getting the ticket on King fisher website.

                            Citibank Credit Card — misuse of cancelled credit card

                            My husband got a lifetime free credit card from Citi bank in 2002, but he never used it.after few months he sent the cut card back to citi bank and mailed to the bank that he is cacelling the card.Then we shifted to other place in same city.in 2005 he got statement at his office address that he had made purchase of 40, 000/ and was asked by the bank to make payment.he was shocked to recieve the statement.After that the bank started harassing my husband, my husband wrote to MD of Citi bank but they did not responded.Now they are saying that you have to pay 60, 000 including interest on 40, 000.
                            my husband doesn't want to go to consumer court as it takes a lots of time.

                            Kingfisher Airlines and Citibank Credit Card — || Misuse of Card and Non - Cancellation of Tickets booked on Card ||

                            At the time of 1.34 to 2.30 tickets were booked as on 10th october, 2008...card no. is given..all the details are given, but in this fastest world of technology...we are still unable to cancel the tickets and find out who has booked the tickets...citibank is saying ask kingfisher and kingfisher is saying ask citibank..if both of you think by doing this you will make us pay then you are highly mistaken...

                            at 1.30 i received call that my charges are reversed and my limit is increased and immediately at the same time tickets are started to be booked from my account..it is someone from the bank only...

                            If kingfisher wanted they would have taken quick action and immediately cancelled the ticket but as it will be the lose of revenue...to them...and if citibank wanted they would have stopped the payment of transaction which took place from 1.30 onwards...but they have not done so...let the customer suffer...right...

                            We have followed all the instructions to protect the card from online and offline fruad...we have followed the instructions given by kingfisher customer care and citibank customer care...which are a clear indication of mistake in their system and the way they are working...

                            So if you think u can fool around other indians by levying the charges whatever you want...then you are highly mistaken..this matter will go long...for getting publicity you have to spend money, we will give you media publicity free of charge without spending money...For 25000 spent on 8th no call was made...and for balance spent on 10th immediate confirmation call came...gr8 service...for your gr8 services only we are paying huge taxes and 4 interest per month...

                            Airport...highly sensible area cant find who has booked ticket and when and from where...how safe we are...this matter will go a long way...best of luck to both of you...as soon as the limit was increased in minutes the limit was used...kingfisher is having no clue who has booked tickets...and citibank is having also no clue who has booked ticket from where and for where...gr8...we are really safe...and we are really fighting in the right way from terrorism...finding it really bore...u will..find it bore only...

                            (5) It was very easy to catch the person..who has booked ticket at 1.30...but no initiative was taken from none of the side except ourself...

                            Recently on my i.e. Mr. Chirag Shantilal Kothari's (B.Com.L.L.B.) fiance Miss Dhara Manharlal Sheth's cell phone no. [protected], we received a call from citibank call center executive that our card has been used for booking kingfisher airlines ticket whereas we have not done any booking online...

                            We have never handed over the card or used it for online purpose...we have
                            already blocked the card and when we called customer care of citibank they
                            told that the tickets have been booked as on 8th onwards...for an amount of approx. 56000...We are shocked...as our limit was only 60000 then we can never think of booking ticket of more than that... and from 8th october, 2008 we are continuosly busy in our marriage preparation...so there is not question of sitting online and booking tickets...and we dont have any plans of going and the same person will not book tickets from the card in the manner they are booked...

                            Citibank customer care is not having details with regard to the person who has booked the ticket...They have told to call kingfisher for the details...when we called kingfisher customer care they told us to go to airport and cancel the same...We went to airport for cancellation of ticket on the saying of customer care executive.

                            Airport authorities are unable to find out in whose name and by whom the ticket has been booked...and they have told us to send mail at this address...for the purpose of cancelling the ticket and getting details of the person in whose name the ticket have been booked.                             Kingfisher authorities are saying that it is not their department...and they cant furnish and find out the details .and this is so funny in the world of net..we are finding difficulty in getting details...bank and airlines are so fast in charging customer but are so slow in giving details...

                            We have not used the card and the card has not been handed over to any person in negligence or by mistake also...it is a work of some professionals...we have tried our best to find out the person behind this...which can be done by citibank and kingfisher...kingfisher will not cancel the tickets as they will loose revenue and citibank wont do anything as they will loose the money which they have paid to kingfisher...and we are also not going to pay anything which we have not used...you can send n. no. of recovery agents...and for all the inconvenience which has not caused mainly due to misuse of card but due to inability in finding the people behind this...we are really safe indian and proud to be an indian...already fooled around by some and are seeing more from airlines and the bank...

                            Air Deccan Kingfisher Airlines — No refund after 3 months

                            My case number is 185190. I cancelled the tickets through air decaan.Later on which merged with Kingfisher airlines. I have called up 100 times to bangalore call centre on[protected], but every time there is a fake stories for first 50 calls, to get the refund in 5/7/10 days.Then i was said that the file is cleared and its account manager who has to process it and i am given several other numbers of Ishwar singh/Suresh/Haripriya/Arun, some of the numbers did not exist rest are either busy or not reachable. No one responds. When i wrote the mail, got a reply from Shilpa Nathan after delay and i shall get it in 10 days.
                            Its a loop and no way to escape.
                            Is it a good time kingfisher airlines services did Mr Vijay Mallaya planning /dreaming to serve...
                            Whats the kind of service they are providing to their customers??????
                            They have simply trined their customer service executives to make fool of the customers. And this head My Ishwar singh is such a critical resource and highly unavailable kind of a person who does have time to attend to the calls/look at the files.
                            This is one of the worst experience of any airlines i ever had!!!

                            Dont know when i will get it back!!!

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Refund pending even after 2 months

                            I have cancelled two tickets (BLR-MUM sector, Dep Dt. 14/08/08, on Air Deccan) on 11th Aug08, and the cancelling clerk committed that within 14 working days the money will be refunded back to me i.e. by 25 Aug08, I should have received my money, but till now i.e. 23rd Oct08, its pending. More over they have earlier said that they have lost track of one reference no. 188983 and need to rebook the cancellation which they did via ref.no.194954 in last week of Aug08. The other reference number is 188928. Eveyweek they are committing that by the end of the week it will definitely be refunded, but the story still continues. Even 4 mails to [protected]@flykingfisher.com are not getting answered by them. Now I was forced to write them that matter will be taken to the consumer court at [protected]@flykingfisher.com. Waiting if some actions are there
                            Got the refund of one of the two tickes on 31st October08. Now following up again for the refund of the second ticket.

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Sky Pirates

                            Kingfisher - the name is good for boozing with their chilled bear, but travelling by their airlines might land you into a horible hangover for years to come. You just see more of a show than really a reputed services from them. Its nothing hidden that, big or small, these airlines have no security of the luggage the passengers carry through these so looking reputed airlines. Making fool of you with their Terms & Condition making the payment of Rs 450/Kg on your stolen luggage, Kingfisher is now becoming one of the worst airlines in open theft. See Palam Airport Police Station complaints & you need to understand the truth. Theft are common, dont trust the staff or go by the name ... Good name do not make all good services and there AIRLINES is one such example. Pay more for poor trust... useless.
                            Absolutely right... Kingfisher has become one of the worst airlines in the Indian skies. It is surviving only because it has money bosses like Vijay Mallya.
                            You were robbed off for your camera, they are heartless & lack busines attics, forget it, they might have tried to pay to there staff with the robbing they do, what they will repay you. They will soomn be bankcrupt & this is the curse on them.
                            Recently my aunt who is a 73 year old lady had booked through Kingfisher Airlines, what is she being told on reaching the Airport... Your ticket has been cancelled since your Credit Card payment has not been received. I feel pity on the services of K.F, they did not even have the courtesy to inform before hand about the un booked ticket. Nothing might be true, since it was a senior citizen ticket, which is at a discounted price, they might have sold to a fresh arrived customer for few bucks extra. This is the reputation of airlines whose boss claims of efficient service... Shame ...Shame...Shame...

                            Air Deccan/Kingfisher Airlines — No Refund - 4 months

                            I cancelled my flight and had got a company mail for the refund dated Aug 22, 2008. Since then, I have only been calling the call centre to hear only one damn answer " Sir please wait for another 7 working days. The refund will happen". It is now nearly 4 months, but no refund has yet happened. Ironically, very time I call the customer service, mentions " Welcome to Good times". Absolutely disgusting service. I have even mailed them at various company feedback and help mail address, still no revert.

                            I am currently not sure how can I get my hard earned money back.

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Non grant of refund

                            I booked 4 tickets (3 Adults and 1 infant) from Delhi to Bangalore for October 5, 2008 (6.35 AM flight) on August 25, 2008. I also booked our return tickets on October 12, 2008.

                            Later on, I was informed that 6.35 AM flight for October 5th has been cancelled and based on my discussion with the customer executive I was confirmed that I shall be given the full refund of my Del Bang fare once I return back on Oct 12. (PNR No. DMZKII)

                            Since then I was regularly calling on the customer care no. but they could not connect to the customer executive.

                            Even today, I checked the Citibank to enquire whether any refund has been given by Kingfisher Airlines...However it was been confirmed that no refund has been granted till date.

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Lower Class service offered

                            Through this email, I wish to highlight a shocking case ongoing cheating by Kingfisher Airlines in Mumbai-Ahmedabad sector.

                            It flies a flight under IT136 number( dep.7.30pm) . It is supposedly a KINGFISHER class flight and fare is charged accordingly. Last 20th Dec., when we took this flight from Mumbai, on board, we realized that it is actually a Deccan ( now RED) service with limited facilities on board.

                            Ironically, my friend Dr. Jani, who was earlier booked in a Deccan service ( same evening 9.05pm), actually had to pay extra 2000 Rs to upgrade his flight from RED to IT 136!

                            From the co-passengers who fly regularly in the sector, we came to learn that this is a regular case where Kingfisher is cheating its customers. Several complaints in past have yielded no results.

                            I had booked a ticket for me and my wife Rachana Maurya from Delhi to Dharmshala by Deccan Airlines Flight No. DN551 in the
                            month of August 2008 through vochour which is now Kingfisher Airlines.I had cancelled the same ticket on 24 August 2008 and since then i am waiting for the refund amount of Rs. 5498/-.
                            After 4 months of regular follow up, I have not yet recieved the amount.
                            Kindly look into this matter.
                            Till now i have made around 10-15 Calls to customer care Number [protected], that always take around 30-35 Minutes because of initial waiting and then time taken by the representative and they always assure me that amount will be debited in your account in 48-72 Hours. but after 4 months i am still waiting for my money. In the meanwhile i have spend arount 500 - 600 Rupees in the follow ups.
                            The same has happned with me in Delhi Lucknow Sector on 26 of October 2008. Ispite of my repeated reminders they have not refunded the difference of fare. Its a shear cheating case. Can anybody help in this regard.

                            The private airline players are even worse than the TTE who take bribe for providing the seats.

                            Kingfisher airways, things missing in check in baggages — things missing in check in baggages

                            I had travelled from nagpur to bangalore on 13th feb and I checked in two luggages.
                            AFter reaching home, after one day, i checked my luggage, my gold ornamnets were missing in one of the luggage.

                            After talking to the kingfisher airlines, they r not ready to take my complaint as it was above 24hrs.
                            I dont understand why people are not giving importance to this thing,

                            But upon requesting for Boarding Pass at the airport on 25th Feb, the Kingfisher attendants said the rescheduling charges have not been paid, are showing pending in the system & i would have to pay on the spot else i would not be allowed to board the flight. My flight was scheduled @ 6:05AM, & i was made to wait till 6:00AM until i finally managed to pay up in CASH, ON-THE-SPOT to the attendants! This was really ridiculous - A lone lady made to wait till the last, at such an odd hour, just because of some error in your system & not allowed to board flight till money was literally extorted! This was unexpected from such a reputed organization like yours! Also, i was not given the receipt of money at Ahmedabad Airport, but was asked to collect from Mumbai Airport. Fortunately, i have got the receipt for the payment made.

                            Over & above this, i receive a statement from my credit card bank - Standard Chartered, which ALSO REFLECTS THE AMOUNT DEBITED IN MY ACCOUNT!!! So, in all, i pay up twice for rescheduling my flight! And that too after a round of an insulting wait at the airport.

                            Can i request a solution for the same??????

                            1. I had bought tickets for my wife and child from New DElhi to Indore from your website on 13 Apr 09 by my credit card having no [protected]. The flight was on 18 Apr 09.

                            2. The tickets were of Rs 3679/- each and were charged to my credit card account. However in addition to the above, a sum of Rs 7358/- has also been charged from my account for the same tickets.

                            3. In view of this i had contacted icici bank and they have told me to request you to void the amount of Rs 7358/- which has been erroneously charged to me by your airlines.

                            4. i would request you to take immediate action to refund the double charged amount to my credit card at the earliest please.

                            Kingfisher Airlines — delay and non comfortable seats

                            This is to inform you that I had travelled thru Fly Kingfisher on 28.05.09 by flight no IT3802 form delhi to hyderabad . The flight was late by more than 40minutes and we sitting in the plane for almost one hour as the flight got delayed after boarding the flight.

                            On return on the same day, the flight was late by more than 1 hr and 15 minutes. No arrangement was made for snacks etc for the morning and evening flight at the airport.

                            The seats were not having the facility of inclination in the plane on the return journey which caused lot of inconvenience to the oassengers.I have never seen a plane where such seats are there.

                            You shud immedately remove such planes whcih are so inconvenient to travel.

                            Pl let me know the action taken on this complaint.

                            Dear Team,

                            In the past two years I would have travelled by Kingfisher Airlines atleast 15 times and not even a single time they have adhered to their time schedule in taking off. There would be a delay of atleast an hour every time citing technical problem. I would like to know what technical problem they face every time. This time I booked my tickets from Bangalore to Bhubaneshwar (IT 3445, 27th June 2009) and return (IT 3446, 30th June 2009). Just after my booking, I receive an SMS message saying the flight from Bangalore to Bhubaneshwar would now be delayed by 1H and 50 minutes. It is strange to see such a poor and unacceptable service. Why dont they change the flight timing by one hour or so, so that we prepared and plan our schedule accordingly.

                            This is simply unacceptable.

                            I travelled in Kingfisher airlines on 2,Oct 2009 from Mumbai to Bangalore at 6:40 AM flight, I had my camera sealed in a box in the check in luggage bag, In Bangalore after I received my luggage found my camera missing. I have raised this issue with the Kingfisher airport team, they said just to send a mail to [protected]@kingfisher.com, I did the same and they replied if we found we will get back to you.                             My PNR number for IT3347/28OCT PAT-DEL @1830 hrs is CDWAUS booked on 18th October for 2 adults with seat number 02A and 02B. Unfortunately 6 days after the booking when I checked my flight status I found that my one out of two seats has been shifted to back to row F. I immediately called upon Kingfisher Airlines to know about it where I was told that my seat was booked in front due to technical error and the flight doesn’t have any 02B seat as it is business class in front. But it’s lie as the flight from Patna to Delhi doesn’t have any business class.

                            I want to know the reason for fraud done to me in snatching my seat. Several things come my mind as may be your booking agents are making extra money by giving already allotted tickets in front.

                            Hi,

                            Recently my Mom and wife traveled from London to Bangalore Via (Mumbai). This is because Kingfisher Airlines canceled the direct service to Bangalore. At the Mumbai Airport there was no facilities to take care of customers who has booked a direct flight. The only next flight to bangalore was at 5 PM which was 6 Hrs from the time they landed at Mumbai Airport. This is really odd. I think they can provide atleast some snacks/lunch at reduced price, which will help the customers. I hope Kingfisher managerment looks after this issue OR else many people will think before booking tickets to Bangalore via Mumbai.

                            I was travelling from Bangalore to Jaipur in a flight which was via Mumbai and the flight was of Kingfisher airlines - IT 0104 Class N. PNR no. DZUUGU boarding time - 8:35 morning on 22nd of march. When I reached jaipur and collected my baggage, my personal lock of baggage was missing and all the things inside baggage were in turmoil. Every thing in the baggage was checked by someone and my jewellery worth Rs.20000 was missing from my bag. Have called the airlines who told me to write a mail which was done but still no reply from their end. This is a clear cut theft in the check - in baggage which has happened and I want to inform the entire staff of my company to stop travelling with kingfisher airlines.                             Kingfisher Airlines — Bait and Switch - robbed me of £360

                            In July of 2009 I booked a London-Calcutta ticket, to return around the end of April 2010 – I paid £538. They told me I had a one-time free rebooking facility, so I would not have to pay a fee for rebooking. They did say I would have to pay the difference in fare. When I asked if fares increased much, they said no. I was led to believe these were differences in inflation – changes due to the price of petrol changing.
                            However, now I have definite travel dates they are telling me I must pay an additional £360. That is a difference of 67%!!!
                            They use this double talk, claiming they have sold out of “N-class” fares – a term they never explained when I was buying the ticket. Now they claim to only have “K-class” fares. This is double-speak invented to confuse an unwary customer – there is no difference in the seat or the service. It’s just at a certain time they decide to charge their loyal customers another £360 just because they want to. And they give no warning about this kind of outrage whatsoever. There are seats on the plane, I have already paid for a return flight, and they refuse to change the dates of tickets without this invented “rate change.” But they tell me they have kindly allowed me to change with no penalty. They try to sell you a spoon of honey while stealing your wallet.
                            I have been robbed. I am a victim of “bait-and-switch.” The company told me I would pay minimal fees when I changed my ticket, and now they are trying to rob me of £360 – when I have long ago paid for the ticket! I
                            Never buy a ticket from Kingfisher Airlines – they will take your money, and then charge you another 67% overnight, for no reason whatsoever other than their “invented terms” which they secretly use to convince themselves they are not robbing you. You will then have to speak for hours (I spent 2 hours on three international calls talking to 6 people – and no one provided me any service.)

                            DO NOT TRUST KINGFISHER!!!!!

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Unable to board flight after issuance Boarding Pass

                            I had booked a flight from Chennai - Pune on 4 may 2010. The flight was scheduled at 4:30 pm. I was in the airport on time, checked-in my luiggage, got the boarding pass, completed my security check and was waiting to board. There wasnt any boarding announcement for Pune flight. When there was still no information on it, I reached out to one of the Kingfisher personnel at 4:34 pmand asked her about the Pune flight. Then she says, they were announcing (how come a person, wont recognise his/her name, i dont understand) and couldn't find me or reach me, when, all the while I was sitting at the waiting lounge.

                            They simply dismissed saying that the flight has left and 105 passengers boarded and also MY LUGGAGE CA N BE COLLECTED AT THE COUNTER. "How did they get out my checked in luggage so quickly, by 4:34?". T

                            This was the first time, something like this has happened to me. I have never missed a flight so far and didnt know how to react. Very cleverly they took back my boarding pass, removed all the stickers from my luggage(cabin and checked in), and asked me to pay "No Show" charges.(When I was there all the while).

                            It looks like they have planned it out very neatly not to leave any trace of their mistakes and dismissed me off. I had to book another flight and travel. All I have is the eticket, which I took a print from their counter in the airport.

                            The personnel were so impolite and did not offer any compensation. I request severe action to be taken against Kingfisher airlines.
                            Dear Kingfisher Airlines,

                            Firstly i would like to congratulate your esteemed organisation for their success both in Airlines industry as well as Formula 1. I may also state that I am a very big fan of the way you have been dealing with the customers, keeping in mind their small and important needs, making our flight experience the most comfortable all these years

                            However, i would still like to appraise you about the lapse on your part while I was travelling from Pune to Delhi on 17/05/1980 by IT 3151, a 6 20 flight along with my mother. (Ticket attached)
                            Here i would like to tell you that i reached the airport at 5 50 am and as soon as i reached the Kingfisher counters i was told that the boarding has already been stopped. I was really surprised as even though i reached 30 minutes prior i was still not being allowed to board the flight.
                            After approaching one of the senior guy, and narrating the same. He asked for the same to one of the craft crew. After these confrontations, i was told that me, my mother and another passenger will not be allowed to board the flight, as supposedly we were 3 minutes late. Your employee even wrote the same on my ticked print out. This could have been easily avoided had the staff been a little more proactive. In a country like ours, where nothing is in minutes, these 3 minutes costed me a lot. The behavior of the crew in particular was too rude.
                            In fact since I am a doctor, working in one of the leading Institutes of India, my presence was essential and required. However, In spite of my repeated persuasion and pleas i was not allowed to board the flight.

                            Instead i was given a 11 30 flight. To my astonishment, for no fault of mine again, the flight got delayed by almost 47 -50 minutes. This was such an irony. At one time because of the delay of 3 minutes i could not board the flight, on the other hand there was no accountability for the delay caused by the airlines itself.
                            Any ways, i am thoroughly disappointed with the handling of the situation as well as the agony and trauma i had to go through while sitting on the airport for no mistake of my own.

                            To top it all, it was my birthday as well. The staff sure did make my day...and my Birthday...

                            I am a regular traveler from Kathmandu Delhi- Delhi Srinagar and return...
                            On my way from Srinagar I traveled on a flight that was supposed to be 1 hr 35 mins...
                            It took them 5 hrs... I don’t blame them Delhi weather was bad and the plane needed refueling.
                            However Delhi to Kathmandu I was received by a total jerk at the airport check in counter to collect my boarding pass... a person with no personality... king fisher says good times... this person was in to giving me a hard time... he was a complete . I arrived at the desk my baggage was overweight first he said that I pay for 5 kilos then he changed his mind and said to pay for 10 kilos... I did not have any problem....

                            have a complaint against Kingfisher Airlines.

                            I was traveling on Flight no IT 4634 from Srinagar to Delhi, on
                            Tuesday 29th of June.The flight was delayed by an hour in Srinagar
                            itself. As per the instructions from the security check in people at Srinagar we were instructed NOT to carry hand baggage on to the flight.
                            I kept my wallet and all my personal belongings, and just checked in
                            with the boarding pass and mobile phone.

                            On reaching Delhi, I found that the seal of the bag is broken, the wallet was stolen, entire cash was stolen.
                            I have made a complaint for this at the Delhi Airport and Kingfisher,but no response .

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Delay in flight schedule for more than 5 hours

                            Dear Sir,

                            Myself has booked ticket from Lucknow to Ahemdabad via Delhi with kingfisher airlines Flight no. IT3636 which has schedule departure at 7:15 from Lucknow on 24th June 2010. But it arrived at 12:30 and left Lucknow in by 12:55am which was more than 5 hours late then also nobody was there at lucknow airport to attend and give response to this delay. I reached Ahemdabad at 4:00am in morning.

                            Due to this I was physically and mentally got disturb due to lack of sleep and has to join office in morning.
                            As a result requested to give compensation for same due to above mentioned issue.

                            I had travelled by kingfisher airlines from kathmandu to new delhi on 31/07/2010 ,via flight no IT 066
                            pnr no GUPAIG along with my family of 6 persons, in which one baggage of ours was given in a good condition with chains and lock to it, but when the luggage was claimed it was in pilfered state with chains broken and suitcase damaged with all the valuables missing in it ,we had also complained to the ground staff and taken a reciept of our complaints by handing and not claiming the luggage and leaving it back at the airport to the kingfisher staff it self all the valuables where recorded and statement was given to them,,,amount of cash of rs 35000,one brand new titan watch,2 shirts and trousers where also not there,

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Non-professional at Kingfisher Security Ground Staff in Hubli noticed

                            I travelled on KF flt IT2122 on the 13th of Aug, 2010 from Hubli to Mumbai on seat# 02A and the PNR# GIBFQA. The irony was that some ground staff guys and gals I think are too over reactive to security issues that make them eventually look like bunch of clowns. I declared after scanning on my checked-in baggage that there were 4-5 hotel complimentary match boxes and a cigarette gas lighter. I then informed the person scanning the baggage that I used to smoke till about 2 months ago but gave up and these match boxes and the lighter was there from then. I also agree that the security issue is very important, but shouldn’t be used to just joke or make it appear as funny as is being done by persons lacking insight and identifying targets for focused needs. I was also checked again after leaving the security lounge for the cabin baggage twice in spite of clarifying to the female ground staff that I am not carrying any more match boxes and lighter. Moreover this re-check of cabin baggage may appear to the professional form the state police that they are not capable and vigilant. I have travelled all over the US and then I used to smoke, but was never targeted by their security for any reason whatsoever. There is also a point to note that the match boxes and the lighter was in my checked-in baggage for more than six months and during this period I would have taken 20 flights from Mumbai and back in Jet Airways, KF and Air India.

                            I know that Hubli being a very small airport do not have persons well trained but they have to rely on their individual abilities and do their best to show their abilities. I also find that their over indulging in areas not in their specialization makes them does look like jokers.

                            I hope you wouldn’t mind my frankness to having exposed the weakness with your employees in very small airports. But you would look into this matter in the right perspective for better trained persons and professionals employed in positions which involve the country’s security.

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Check In

                            My wife was to travel on Delhi Leh route on 01 Oct 10. She reported to the checkin counter at the airport @ 0500h. She had excessive baggage. She was refused a boarding pass. Nobody advised her to pay for the excessive baggage. She was told that the counter would remain open for another 40 min. When she returned to the counter after reducing the baggage at 0530h she was informed that the counter is closed and the seat has already been given to someone else. Inspite of your desk being aware that the passenger is at the airport, her seat was sold to another person. This shows a complete disregard for the passengers n is tantamount to just looking at profits. You can understand the kind of harassment a person has to go through because of such a callous attitude of your staff. Just because the ticket had been bought by me well in advance at low rates n since you were getting a higher price at that time I have been inconvenienced. I have been serving at Leh for the past one year now n was understandably looking forward to my wife joining me during these holidays. But because your staff thought it better to earn a couple of hundred Rs, they have made sure that the entire holiday of ours goes waste. And I also know that the reply to this would just be a polite " Dear John" letter and no action would be taken by your office to go into the details of this sad episode. You must understand that in this case money is not the issue, it is the fact that you are actually just cashing in or rather preying on the unfortunate circumstances of the passengers who are willing to fly your airlines. Well I would like to tell you that you have definitely lost this customer and all those who I can tell. At your desk probably the fact that you have gone and ruined an honest man's holiday, especially for people like us who are sitting in these places, protecting predatory organisations like yours, which are willing to sell us out for a measly Rs. 1000 or so, really doesn't matter. Well kudo's to you n your airline for selling us out for a measly sum.

                            Kingfisher Airlines — Cancellation of all 4 flights of my itinerary

                            I had booked a flight from Hyderabad to Trivandrum for Nov 3rd, 2010 and return on Nov 7th, 2010. I had booked them more than 2 months ago. I was happy that I got the price that I did for 2 people. But my happiness ended there.

                            The flights were both having a stopover at Bangalore (PNR numbers: CFUFNW and CFULRY). I specifically booked these flights because they fit my schedule. However, just a couple of days before my departure I was informed that the Bangalore-Trivandrum flight has been cancelled. I called up the customer care (after waiting for half an hour in the queue) and they told that the flight was cancelled for ‘operational reasons’. They accommodated me on a later flight which was fine. Then they read out my itinerary and told me about my Hyderabad-Trivandrum flight which didn’t coincide with the one I had. On enquiry, I came to know that my original flight had been cancelled and I was accommodated on an earlier flight thus making me stay in Bangalore for 10 hours for no reason. After reasoning this with the customer care, I got my Hyd-Bng flight rescheduled to afternoon.

                            Barely the next day, I find out that both my return flights have been cancelled too. And while you accommodated me in a Trv-Bng flight of a later time, I only had an option for Bng-Hyd the NEXT DAY!!! Imagine this. This journey was made into a nightmare even before I started it. Finally after more than an hour of harassment, I was informed I could take an itinerary of Trv-Mum and Mum-Hyd but only on waiting list since I had booked a low cost ticket. What is the reason to book a ticket couple of months in advance at a relatively low price if you are going to cancel them?

                            I want to bring to everyone's notice this fraudulent system Mr. Mallya is running in the form of Kingfisher airlines. I am never going to travel in Kingfisher again and will stringently oppose any of my friends’ endeavor to do the same. This is the most horrible and pathetic service I have ever come across.

                            I totally agree to the above gentleman's point. I had booked a return ticket from kingfisher airlines. My travel date is on 04-Nov-2010. However I got a SMS from the airlines saying my flight is cancelled for operational reason and I will have to reschedule. Now the shortest time for my journey if I reschedule will be 11hrs that is from Bangalore to Kolkata. The flight they suggested will go to Mumbai where I have to wait for 5hrs before taking another flight to Kolkata.

                            Now after having agreed on the customer care executive's suggestion I finally decided to take the long way flight (Which will start in the morning from bangalore and reach at night in kolkata - I have to reschedule my leave plan) as the next day is Diwali and I have to be at home at any cost, the customer care told me that they will be mailing me the latest (rescheduled) flight details/ticket through mail and will confirm me the same by phone. But it seems that guy had lied totally and now I don't have any option to fly to kolkata.

                            If anybody is watching this forum and do have the authority to take corrective actions against these rogue airlines, then it will be my humble request to please take this matter seriously and take necessary steps.

                            Dear Sir,

                            This is matter of my Airlines tickets ( 5 Nos) booked with your esteemed airlines for Mumbai to Varansi on dated 14/08/2010 bearing VCR no[protected]/77/78/79/80 . During my this journey I have face some seriously and unbearable problem(situation) which is now forcing me to bear a loss of Rs 9500.00 ( Rs 1900.00 per ticket) due to miscommunication(misguidance) created by the airlines employees employed at the airport. I would like to explain the whole scenario point-wise as mentioned below.

                            1. I have gone to Air-Port along with whole family for check-in. After standing for more than 20 minutes , I told to changed the quene by the airlines employee employed at the airport.

                            2. As per as instruction given employe employed at the airport , we have proceed for change in quene , but the Employed-Lady standing (on duty) in another quene told that she can’t allow us for Check-in as time is over. Then we gone back to the previous person ( airlines employee) who told to change the quene, but he simply didn’t responded to us. I would to like to bring in your attention that this incident had not only occurred to me but to almost more than 5 to 6 people standing along with us ( Airlines can validate this information by seeing cancellation history on that day). This condition was arised due to mis-communication (mis-guidance) created by Kingfisher airlines employee employed there at Airport as they are there to help the customers not misguide and because of this we had missed our flight and our tickets was declared as “NO SHOW”

                            3. As we were going to attend a 13rd day function of my mother funeral.As per as religion philosophy , we were need to be on time in Varanasi , so we were in hurry to board another flights . That is why we have decide to go for another flight by cancelling the existing as rescheduling was not feasible ,

                            4. But there was again another height (problem) where-in the person sitting at the cancellation counter told us that only Rs 500.00 per person shall be deducted as penalty charges and remaining amount shall be refunded to us by our travel agent( M/s Yatra.com).

                            5. When we have contacted M/s Yatra for refunded , we were in shocked to hear that M/s Yatra is charging us Rs 3000.00 per person ( Rs 15000.00 for 5 Tickets) as a cancellation charges, when contact Fly-kingfisher customer care we again came to another shocked that of Rs 1900.00 per person ( Rs 9500.00 for 5 tickets) being charged as a cancellation charges. But no one was there to understand the situation (misguidance atmosphere created by airlines employee) and about Rs 500.00 per person shall be deducted as a cancellation charges as promise by person(Employee) sitting airlines counter.

                            I would to request to look in to the matter sincerely and on top priority and subsequently take some appropriate and serious action against the employees employed at the airport as it causing an harm to hard cash earned by customers and thus destroying the tempo of airlines with the existing customer .

                            Hope for the positive feedback and reply either by refunding the whole amount (after deducting minimum bearable charges or either issuing a coupon for next trip).

                            I hope the airlines wouldn’t disappoint me and help in us making our mind to travel in future.

XH-928036. I was waiting at the airport for more than 3 hours just to find out the same with Kingfisher representatives but no one was able to trace the same. I am very surprised that how it could happen & it was totally wastage of my valuable time as I am visiting India for a short period for some meetings & all. I travelled first time with Kingfisher thinking the best airlines but it was a very bad experience to me. Kingfisher excecutive booked my complaints but till now nothing has happned.                               Hi,

                              I am really very disappointed with service of Kingfisher airlines.

                              On 17th October, I received the call from Kingfisher airline customer care (Pune office) that my flight (Jaipur to Bangalore – IT 107, Reservation Code; NGFRLA, Date of travel: 20th October 2009) has been cancelled and asked me to either get the refund or book the flight for 22nd October and that phone rep is also not courteous and not even giving me the time to think.

                              Finally they agreed to change the booking for connecting flight for same day i.e. 20th October which is from Jaipur to Delhi and than Delhi to Bangalore with waiting period of 3 hrs and flight is in early morning at 6:30 AM. Anyway I decided to take this option as I need to reach Bangalore on 20th October due to some urgent work.

                              Later, on 18th October I came to know from my cousin that he is travelling with the same flight for which I got the cancellation call i.e IT - 107. I contacted the Pune office and talk to Mr. Hafeez and he told me that cancelled flight is reinstated and I cannot get the booking in that flight as all tickets are already booked for it. I was very surprised to know that how it can be possible as Airline should call me on the reinstating of the flight also in the similar way as they called me on the cancellation. I asked the same question with Mr. Hafeez also but he could not able to answer and gave me some 800 number to log the complaint there.

                              On contacting 1-800 number , I spoke to Mr. Santosh and he apologize for the whole incident and told me that he can try to get the tickets in the IT-107 if there is any cancellation otherwise I have the option of connected flight only.

                              Now the question is why I was not informed when the flight was reinstated? This is really not expected from the Kingfisher airlines which are known for its service.

                              Because of all this mismanagement of the airlines I travelled on 20th October early morning 6:30 AM to Delhi and than wait in Delhi for 3 hrs and than came to Bangalore at 1:00 PM. Also I was travelling with my pregnant wife and 7year old daughter.

                              After this incident I have decided to never travel with Kingfisher and also tell everyone about your services. What I suspect is that your airlines sold my tickets at the higher prices.

                              On 21august when I reached airport to take my flight as per my reservations, I was told that flight have been cancelled and they cant help it.

                              When I asked them to book next available flight, or either refund my money, they clearly refused to do it.
                              And said We are not responsible. The lady manager at airport was abusing me and shouting on me when I forced her to provide me either of two.

                              Then on a heavy argument They provided me a flight to Mumbai delhi- and they said from delhi they will provide me another flight to chandigarh.
                              As had no other option so I got agreed to it, abd boarded the mumbai delhi flight.
                              But when I reached Delhi, and asked the lady Anupama the manager of kingfisher airlines @ delhi domestic arrivals, she said she cannot provide me any flight neither he will refund the fare only she can provide a cab, which was alsonot upto the standards.

                              I asked her to put same in writing but she did not rather he behaviour was much more abusing and commanding.
                              I did paid for Air travel and was forcibly made to travel through Road.
                              Even the retrun flight was cancelled, that was also not informed on asking and arguing they provided me the alternative.

                                This has reference to PNR JPTAQC.

                                I had a booking of Kinfisher flight from Bangalore to Chandigarh(B'lore to Mumbai & Mumbai to

                                Chandigarh) dated 18th sep. I got this booked on 19th July through Yatra. On 18th Sep, I boarded

                                the flight from B'lore and reachedMumbai.While Checking in at Mumbai Airport i got astonished to

                                knw that Kingfisher had cancelled that flight.

                                When I visited Kingfisher reception counter their representative took it very casually n she told me

                                that the ticket has been cancelled and the same was informed to Yatra n even refund has

                                been sent for the same to Yatra.

                                In Nutshell, she passed buck fully to the Yatra. She didn't even care to help me.As a result in hurry I

                                had to book Air India flight worth Rs 6129 n i.e also upto Delhi.. When I contacted Yatra

                                people they informed me that they haven't recvd any sort of communication regarding

                                cancellation of tkt from Kingfisher n at the same time they haven't recvd any refund so far.

                                I was supposed to reach Chandigarh at 5 pm but i reached Chandigarh around 12am all bcoz of the

                                mess created by Kingfisher. Whats the benefit of getting Kingfisher airline tkts booked 2 months

                                back when they don't even bother to inform the passenger abt the cancellation of the

                                flight? I incurred a gud loss of money n time bcoz of Kingfisher's indifferent attitude toward customer

                                delightment and retention.Request u to help me in getting the compensation for my time & money.

                                i had my ticket booking from bangalore to pune booked for 1 oct and from pune to bangalore for 16 oct at 1845.
                                at the last moment the flight was cancelled.i had to attend an international conference.i was made to reschedule all the arrangements. i was unasble to get tickets from pune to bangalore.on calling the customer service the blame the system is not working or getting updated and are not taking the onus of the inconvenience caused.
                                WORST FLYING EXPERIENCE IN LIFE

                                Iam a Mariner residing in Dehradun. I have been flying since last 14 years. Due to roadblocks on Delhi - Doon highway I requested my Shipping company to provide me with to and fro Air Tickets from delhi thinking that Kingfisher is a reliable airline. I went through the worst flying experience of my life.
                                My onward flight from Doon to Delhi on 12 Nov 2009 was delayed more than 2 hours. Worst was the return flight no. 2815 which got cancelled due to technical reasons and your useless staff at the airport tried to fool the Passangers.
                                Please give me a firm reason as to why I should not tell Doon Mariners association, my company and my fellow mariners that its no point flying to Delhi when you can reach delhi by train in 5 hours.
                                Delays are very common on this sector making it worthless to fly. Mr. Vijay Mallaya should be ashamed in calling it a 5star airline.

                                Kingfisher Airlines — refund of ticket and break up of bill

                                I have booked tickets for 6 persons from Dehradun to Delhi on 2 Jan 2010 for IT 2360, PNR no. EERRYI, IATA number 14363904, ticket number is [protected]. The flight from Dehradun to Delhi was cancelled due to bad weather. Somhow we could reach Delhi by road for no assistance was provided. We have travelled Delhi to Mumbai. Now Kinfisher airline or Yatra .com are not providing break up of the bill amount from Dehradun to Delhi travel. As I have availed LFC facility from my office I have to refund the amount for Dehradun to Delhi travel as I have not used the same for air travel.

                                They are replying that as it was a through ticket break could not be given.

                                We wish to bring to your notice that we had booked e-ticket for our Chairman & Managing Director Sri Basant Seth for Bangalore-Delhi Sector in IT 208 for journey on 15th April 2010 – E ticket No.[protected] – PNR ISEJYW.

                                Since Sri Seth was holding an upgrade voucher, we requested for upgradation during check-in time. The staff at the counter denied issue o[censored]pgraded Boarding Pass inspite of seats remaining vacant in Business Class.

                                Kindly note that Sri Basant Seth is a Frequent Flyer and a Silver Card holder. We strongly object the action of the counter staff in not issuing upgraded Boarding Pass though many seats were vacant in Business Class.

                                I had booked a ticket for my fiancée (Priya). This ticket was booked for travel from Ranchi to Hyderabad for which Kingfisher provided an option on ticket from Ranchi to Mumbai and Mumbai to Hyderabad. The ticket amount was Rs. 12358 (No break up provided for Ranchi to Mumbai and Mumbai to Hyderabad as the ticket was from Ranchi to Hyderabad).

                                Before booking the ticket, I had called the call center to ensure that Priya gets a connecting flight from Mumbai and call center people had told that in case Kingfisher isn’t able to provide an agreeable flight alternative, full ticket amount would be refunded.

                                Priya boarded the flight from Ranchi to Mumbai and she was told that she will be put on a connecting flight. Since the flight was delayed by more than 4 hours, Kingfisher staff couldn’t arrange a flight for her the same day and they provided an alternative flight for next day.

                                Priya didn’t agree to the option provided by Kingfisher, and as updated by call center before ticket booking, asked for a full refund of the ticket. I have to put it in very harsh words that your staff at Mumbai airport is very uncouth. They don’t even know the basic etiquette of how to talk to the guests, forget how they need to talk to a lady guest. These people fed wrong information into their system, not just once, but twice. First they fed wrong information into the system that Priya had agreed to next days flight. When we fought back, they removed that information. Then they fed another wrong information into their system that Priya has agreed to a refund of Rs 3329. Such unprofessional is the Kingfisher staff.

                                Kingfisher paid peanuts of Rs 3329 as a refund amount for cancellation of ticket. They went back on their words. On contacting the unprofessional Mumbai Kingfisher staff, they didn't provide any help and a lady was stranded at Mumbai airport for the entire night.

                                She wanted police assistance to which Kingfisher outrightly rejected. Seems if you are in Kingfisher area you are deprived of your basic rights even.

                                We have been following up with Kingfisher staff for more than 10 days, but still haven't heard what has happened to our case. I have written more than five mails to [protected]@flykingfisher.com, the so called Kingfisher's guest care id. It is so pathetic that guest care, that I haven't even received an acknowledgement of my complaint even after 10 days and five emails to them.

                                I can say that Kingfisher has given me the worst experience till date. Other airlines fare much much better in their customer care. I don't know why Kingfisher calls its passengers as GUESTS.

                                I hope at lease this post will open the eyes of Kingfisher.

                                On November 22 I had flown from Mumbai to Bubaneswar with Kingfisher Airlines flight IT – 3141.
                                Before I came from London and I was a little bit stressed out because there were some gusts on board which had drunken too much so that it wasn’t a stress free flight.
                                Normally I don’t drink and that’s maybe why I hardly can accept drunken people.

                                So I was very tired waiting for my flight to Mumbai.
                                Around 30m far from that gate A7 through that I had to go into IT-3141 was a shop that looked half like a Café, half like a restaurant and had a big KINGFISHER advertising. I went to that shop and I got the idea to buy 1 beer too because I just wanted to sleep in the flight.

                                So I bought 1 can for the proud price of 625 Rupi.
                                I wanted to drink it but just then the boarding had started and so I took the can into the plane.
                                Before the plane started the stewardess saw the beer in my computer bag because it was open.
                                She became immediately very unkindly and called the other stewardess as well as a safety officer.
                                I don’t want to write know everything in detail what happened from that moment on, but I can tell you that this was the most impolite and insulting talk that I ever had since I fly.
                                Finally they asked me to leave the plane because they claimed that I had smuggled the can into the plane because they know that no beer is available after the security check in Mumbai Airport. I of course knew it better because I bought it there but they didn’t believe me. But then an Indian who had seen that I bought the beer after the security check helped me and finally I could stay in the plane.
                                Believe me – nobody told me that 1 can beer, resp. alcohol is not allowed on Kingfisher domestic flight and there was no announcement too.
                                How can a foreigner know that???

                                Because 3 days have passed meanwhile and I am still thinking why they offended me so much (one of the stewardess screamed to me whilst I never even raised my voice and the whole passengers maybe believed that I am a terrorist or something else).

                                I am a German Engineer and I work all over the world. Means I fly a lot and I have a good attitude and so I treat all persons kindly.
                                But your stuff has maybe some missing education – so please train them.

                                For the 0, 5 Litre beer can I had to pay 625Rupi and I want that money back or the can and I think that your stuff should apologize for that.

                                If there will be no action or response from your side, then I will –although it is absurd – press a charge because of theft by a stewardess during a Kingfisher flight. A copy of that I will send to the press.

                                Kingfisher Airlines — wrong feedback from customer care of kingfisher

                                sir/madam,
                                i booked a ticket riound trip(24to 29th march) of kingfisher airlines from makemytrip.i got a msg of cancellation of my returing flight.
                                when i was misguided by customer care of makemytrip i consulted with the customercare of kingfisher. they also misguided me about no re-routing could be provided and i have to cancel the flight(as mentioned by them on 25th april 2012). i did so, i cancelled my flight. again on 28th when i called them for taking about cancellation refund i was informed i could have re-routed my fight.
                                so i had to book another airline ticket on 28th which costed triple the amount of what i paid earlier.

                                kindly take strict action and get my amount compunsated

                                    Dear Sir,
                                    Inspite of filing the case in the court of CONSUMER FORUM at Kanpur court I am deprived of the justice. I am writing this letter to you because I know that my problem would be resolved once you take up the case seriously enough.
                                    Vide reference details mentioned above, I would request you to kindly extend your cooperation in recovering the losses incurred while traveling in Kingfisher Airlines from Chennai to Lucknow via Delhi on 20th April 2008.
                                    At about 1855 hrs on 20/04/08 when I was on the flight IT 653 bound to Lucknow, suddenly the airhostess informed me that one of my baggage which was through check in from Chennai to Lucknow is found open, torn and damaged from one side and the contents are falling out of it. She asked me to get down the plane and identify the luggage. I was really shocked to see the state of my damaged bag and requested the supervisor checking the boarding passes of the passengers to assist me in opening the bag and confirm whether all the belongings inside were safe or not. But surprisingly, the supervisor on duty refused to cooperate and replied that for such a small reason the flight cannot be detained. He further asked me to board the plane which is ready to takeoff at 1905 hrs. and settle the issue at Lucknow airport.
                                    I was mentally tensed and was anxiously waiting to reach Lucknow as soon as possible. On reaching Lucknow airport at 2010 hrs. the ground staff / representative of Kingfisher airlines informed me that the identification of my damaged bag on the belt is that it is wrapped in black polythene carry bag. At the airport, I wrote a complaint letter with the details of the items missing from the bag and handed over to Mr. Deepak, Supervisor Lucknow Airport. It is worth mentioning that the total weight of both my luggages when handed over at Chennai airport was 20 kg but on delivery at Lucknow airport was found to be only 19.3 kg. The Property Irregularity Report Sr.no. SQ: 1 dated 20/04/2008 at 2100 hrs. which was issued to me by Mr. Deepak, Supervisor Lucknow Airport clearly states the damaged and open condition of the baggage as found on the conveyor belt at Lucknow Airport.
                                    It was unfortunate and was a bitter experience and the sad end of the story which started happily with Kingfisher Airlines from Chennai at six in the morning persisted cheerfully in the Kingfisher’s lounge in the afternoon at Delhi airport and again continued with pleasure at seven in the evening in the flight to Lucknow but depressingly ended at ten in the night at Lucknow airport and I reached my home at Kanpur by road disappointedly and disheartened at midnight.
                                    I contacted at least five times in the Customer care no. [protected] but the response was unpleasant and not satisfactory. I am sorry to say that till date the authorities of Kingfisher Airlines have not even taken the pains to communicate about the status of my complaint leave aside talking about the recovery of losses and pilferage.
                                    I am sure that this letter would be taken seriously and sincerely by the authorized representatives of the Kingfisher airlines who endeavor in establishing long term customer relationship and strive for customer satisfaction and make every effort to enhance the delight of the customer and would help the undersigned and facilitate in recuperating the losses and compensate suitably for the damages at the earliest.

                                    With a huge disappointment I beg to inform you that I have experienced the worse service from the prestigious Airline Kingfisher. I must tell you it was quite unexpected .I have tried to converse with them 100 of times but in vain and came to know they will not do anything about it.
                                    Hello I am Abhishek Roy Chowdhury and my PNR number was IWYDEC on flight number IT 3431,from Bangalore to Delhi.I have opted for a window seat and quite disappointedly or rather surprisingly observing how our luggage was getting uploaded inside the plane.people responsible for the job were literally throwing our baggage to the lifter.After I reach to Kolkata airport I was surprised to find my luggage complete broken and torn from all sides.(please refer to attach photos for your reference. while asking for explanation I was not at all entertained the way Kingfisher claim its hospitality to be. all I heard is a blunt sorry and was told nothing can be done and it is normal to happen.There was no sympathy or empathy from the people in charge for your reference -I spoke to Sayantan Ghosh -possible employee ID- 12712 and conversation was not all satisfactory and I was very very disappointed with words i get to hear on that day or the manner I was treated.
                                    I dont know what I should do,but the pleasure Kingfisher provide on air, is getting ruined due to their ground staff..Thanks for your kindness

                                      I have been flying in Kinfisher airlines since it has been launched. and i am a frequent flyer in the airline

                                      I have been a proponent of the services despite the obviously falling standards in your service over the last two years. Initially travelling in Kf was fun . However at the current moment, I will have to say that it lags clearly behind Jet which I fly when my company books tickets.

                                      Since i had made the unfortunate mistake of being a frequent flyer in your airline, I normally book my personal flights through Kingfisher

                                      We had just gone through a personal tragedy and my mother was to go back to Calcutta. Wanting her to go through a comfortable journey, I had booked the kingfisher flight (IT 603 ) despite several cheaper options being available. The idea was that my mother would have a journey which was not troublesome. However I was shocked when I receive an SMS today informing me that the flight has been changed to a kingfisher red flight.

                                      I do not think that is fair or correct. It is not possible for me to get a flight now on jet which was the other alternative. I think this behaviour smacks of cheatting and downright fraud . If the flight was mentioned as Kingfisher red flight i would not have booked it for the price which you had charged me for . In my opinion you do not have the right to do this to consumers

                                      The company call center came back and said you had the right to change the flight. How would I have got the same fare available a day ago just 5 hrs before the flight

                                      My problem is that since this is a monopolistic market, the airline can chose to get people to pay full fare and then downgrade them which is ridiculous

                                        This is to highlight an incident happened to me on 17th July 2009 with regards to my flight from Pune to Delhi flight # ( Kingfisher Red

                                        Flight #3151)

                                        Flight was originally scheduled at 11:30AM IST from Pune Airport, however I got a confirmation SMS from booking authority that flight is rescheduled at 11:55 AM IST (departure time was confirmed from the airport).



                                        Because of heavy traffic I reached airport at 11:40. Of my surprise at that moment flight has departed before the revised departure time.

                                        This is issue was not addressed by Kingfisher official sitting at the Kingfisher counter and no alternatives were suggested for that.



                                        I had to catch a flight from Mumbai to keep my appointment (which anyways could not happen due to travel time from Pune to Mumbai).



                                        My concern is around the SMS that I received informing the delay (i.e. 11:55 AM IST) and the actual take off time (i.e. before 11:40 AM IST). This is a clear case of miscommunication which caused inconvenience in terms of meeting my commitment and also the additional cost incurred to take other flight.



                                        I would appreciate if this issue is addressed with appropriate actions. Also would like to receive further updates on this.

                                        Had it been that you were at the boarding gate at 11:40 and they denied you to board you could still, perhaps request them to let you board (since boarding gates close 15mins prior departure). But, you reached the airport at 11:40, you have no reason to complain. What would probably have happened was that boarding was completed with one passenger short and the captain decided to take off without him, technically he denied you boarding, but i'd still say that the airline people might be calling your name at the airport but you were no where to be found (since you were stuck in traffic) ... tough luck but i hope its a lesson learnt. :-)

                                        Kingfisher Airlines — reschedulement of flight causing inconvenience

                                        i had booked a direct Mum-Jaipur flight for Dec 25th 2010 and the booking date was Sep 17,2010.

                                        Two weeks back I was informd that this flight is rescheduled to Mum-Udai (11.35 am to 13.00)
                                        and thereafer Udai-Jaipur (13.40 onwds) whicvh I was ok though I would be a bit late.

                                        However now I got a shock of my life when the flght from Mum-Udaipr is once again rescheduled to 12.10
                                        pm but unfortunately the Udai-Jaipur flight is not reschedled.Hence I will be missing this and my total holiday plan was jeopardised.I had paid for the hotel booking for Jaipur entire day and the car travel for sightseeing

                                        This has caused me immensed mental agony as I had to cancel your flight and take the direct GoAir flight
                                        from Mu-Jaipur in the afternoon.

                                        The option given by Kingfisher at the last minute was Mum-Delhi and Delhi-Jaipur which would be reaching
                                        Jaipur at 9 pm. and thus not serving any purpose and wasting my entire day.

                                        Kingfisher should refund me the differential amount i paid to GoAir as the rates had gone up tremendously
                                        since it was only one day prior to the actual date of travel.

                                        I am astonished at this behaviour and indifference of Kingfisher staff who has not shown any concern for my problems and are not willing to accomodate me on any other direct flight earlier in the day though such options are available. Is this what their 5 star service and quality and what not is all about?

                                        Any international airline (as they compare themselves to that qualitywise) would give an alternate accomodation or bear the travellers' stay & food cost etc. or better still put them on a convinient flight so that the passenger is not left high and dry. Today I came to know that Kingfisher is also like any other
                                        low cost airline which will look only for its gains. Shame on you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                                        We faced teh same problem. They are trying to run flights for small cities and multiple of them. They cancel all flights and say that we are delaying them due to some clearance issues. But then you meet all people from early flights. So basically kingfisher club all the flights and they fly the flight at teh end of day making mor emoney. Sometimes people miss their connecting flights and then they provide accomodation in red light 3rd grade hotesl. Did you receive any feedback from Kingfisher on this?? If yes do write me at vijaysharma17atgmail.

                                        Kingfisher airlines is a cheater.
                                        Never take kingfisher airlines.
