We always face unauthorized passengers issue in kokan railway in between mumbai to chiplun and vice versa route. This passengers are mainly belongs to chiplun or khed.
This passengers bought general ticket and entered in reserved sleeper coaches. And sleep in between passage with normally huge luggages with them.
It creates huge inconvenience to passengers who bought reserved ticket.
Unfortunately railway tc and rpf ignore this and also accept bribes from them.
Konkan Railway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
LTT - Madgoan Double Decker is stopping on Roha Station for Technical reason. We are many who wants to travel by this train as we are working in MIDC Roha, but could not obtain tickets.

Please make Roha as official stop so we can buy genuine ticket and travel.

I have noticed non of the complaints have been addressed. What is the point having the complaint facility when there is no acknowledgment, forget action. I can see that the same complaint I made about thivim station was made in 2015!!!
This is disgraceful. Shame konkan railway. You treat regular travellers this way?

    Traveling in mangalore express 3ac AB1. Absence of water in toilets.. Basin even before reaching goa though the train is traveling right upto mangalore.. Pathetic condition for morning users.. Train personal are completely ignoring the same even if intimated..iis paying so much fare worth it..no doubt passengers prefer paying little more and traveling by flight

      My family (2 adults/1 teenager) took 10112 Konkan Kanya Express on 21 Jan 2017 from Goa to Mumbai. Our three tickets on First Class AC cost INR6756.

      Our complaints:
      1. There were no signs telling us which compartment was ours. By the time we were on the train an Indian couple had occupied the first compartment so we took the 2nd one. The 3rd one only had two beds. Then our tickets were controlled and we were told to move to the first compartment. By that time the Indian couple had moved to the 3rd one. However, we were not told which beds to occupy so we took the bottom two plus an upper level. We were told that at 10.30pm "a passenger" would join us.
      2. While we had already gone to bed, A WOMAN AND HER TWO CHILDREN came into the compartment with three men, one of them probably the husband. She said that she should have one bottom bed. Then someone from the Rail Company came with a pile of lists and said that her bed was number 1, yet there was no sign at all with any names on any areas of the compartment/carriage/train.
      3. When we asked how the compartment could take up three more people we were told that only one person was joining. We counted six with her children but the Rail staff kept insisting that it was only one person.
      THIS IS EXTREMELY UNFAIR TO US AS WE PAID FOR ONE PERSON ONE BED!!!

        It is unfortunate that to say there are no General tickets available at ticket counter even one hour before journey. general boogie of this 01014 train TC is straightly saying pay penalty where we have observed this is like monopoly of special train authority and operation team.
        Let us know though we have Konkan region railway Minister is this the way employees of Korean railway function under his leadership

          With reference to above subject I lost my pocket, which was left behind at my seat during journey by train No. manglore express, 12133 PNR [protected] adted 20/01/2017
          From CSTM to KKW, Class- 3A, Seat -B1, 15 Side lower

          I visited station master KKW station but he asked to contact madgaon station.Up on enquiry made by my relative from KR, It was found that on the same seat one of the staff member travelled to Madgaon.

          There are about Rs. 12000 in the pocket.do kindly look into this matter and kindly investigate regarding the person who travelled on my seat which is staff memeber. Also enquire with TC Mr. Rowdriges who is on duty at that time from ratnagiri to madgaon.

            My pranets senior citizen was traveling in netravati from haripad to Thane on the said date in 2Ac coach. My mom's hand bag was stolen while traveling at night when she was asleep.. what was the attended doing? We want the compensation.It's so terrifying incident..

            I am travelling from Khed to Karwar on Matsyaganda express (12619). I would like to bring to your notice that bogie no. S5 has no electricity. It is very dark and inconvenient to travel. Also the safety issue is compromised. As traveling with senior citizens and children becomes a huge problem.
            Kindly look into this matter.

              Today (16 Jan) train no 12977 marusagar express was 8 min delay when it left udupi at 0630hrs.It reached kundapur at 0756. It was made to wait till 0826 hrs for crossing of nizamuddin-ernakulaml train. At 0756 this train was at Bhatkal. after kundapur, there are Senapur, bijoor, Byndoor and shiroor stations. crossing could been possible any where in this stations.
              Again at Bijoor for ten minutes it was made to wait for Crossing of 12619 Matsyagandha exp
              again at bhatkal it was made to wait from 0809 hrs to 0830 hrs for crossing of 70105 madgaon mangalore Dmu train which left Murdeshwar at 0814 hrs.
              again at honnavar it was made to wait from 0900 hrs to 0915 hrs for crossing of 22150 pune -Ernakulam exp train which left kumta at 0905hrs.
              finally reached karwar at 1026 hrs a delay of one hour and 6 mins.
              super fast train is treated like this in a shabby manner.
              please ensure proper crossing without giving room for long delays. Crosiing has to be planned without BIAS

              On 16 Jan train no 56640 Mangalore-madgaon passenger reached suratkal at 0658 hrs, a few minutes earlier at 0650 hrs goods train SWIFT 676 departed from suratkal . Thus 56640 Mangalore-madgaon passenger was made to trail the goods train throght its journey and reached madgaon @ above 2 hours delay . so return journey to mangalore from madgaon also delayed
              scheduled trains could have been given preference over goods train but its not happening.
              same train was to made to wait for nearly one hour at canacona from 1309 hrs to 1406 hrs
              please reduce the delays by planning the crossover judiciously

              CORRECTIONS
              train no 12977 marusagar express reached kundapur at 0656. It was made to wait till 0726 hrs for crossing of nizamuddin-ernakulaml train.                 I have lost my costly shirt & spectacles at Thivim Rly. Station on 5th Aug. 2016 when I was sitting on the Rly. bench for boarding Konkan Kanya Exp. headed for CSTM.                   I have booked following tickets pnr-[protected] trn:10104 dt:[protected] frm kkw to tna cls:3a p1-b1, 8 p2-b3, 48 p3-b1, 11 p4-b1, 16 as i have all the confirm tickets one of my seat no b-3, 48 has been sold by tc to another person without checking my ticket. I ask to tc to look into this matter but he said to me that that tc has been got down (Off the duty) at ratnagiri station. Also i had informed one of the tc that b-3, 48 is my seat i need back my seat. Here my question is how he could allot my confirm ticket to another person. Also i convey the same to another tc who boarded at next station (Ratnagiri) but he said that we can't help out because that tc already allot ticket to that person. Then i asked for complain book but again he keep on denying to give me the complain book he said that you have to ask complain book to that tc only who logged of to ratnagiri. I board at kankavli station with my parents who was physically seek at b1 - 8 & 11. Several time i was go to b3 coach toward ha coach to search the tc but not seen. Also i inform to the another tc but they keep denying the duty & said you have to asked to that tc only. Request you to urgently look into the matter & take strict action against tc. I need my full money back against seat no b-3, 48 because i paid for it & not got seat for that.

                  After complaining above to the online portal of indian railway i got closure remark on the complain that i had filed that is "you treated as a non traveled & inconvenience caused to you sincerely regretted."

                  Is that way that railway investigate operate by simply saying inconvenience caused to you sincerely regretted or improper investigation done by the investigation executive?

                    My pnr no is [protected]... I could not catch my train from madgaon due to local train... Ticket no 72251794... Which started at 1310 from vasco da gama and reached madgaon after 1500... But the actual timing of local train tobreach madgaon was 1340... So my train 12052 was left before i reahed... Now i just wanted to go ratnagiri by some other train and i requested station master to just permit us to travel in another train... But he is not cooperating.... I m a defence personnel and going to ratnagiri for urgent operational requirement. I have booked my ticket using railway warrant so i can't cancel my ticket because by cancelling the ticket my return ticket will also get cancel. Therefore i requested station master to allow us to go by any next available train. But he didn't allow me. Therefore it is requested that please take necessary action against him

                        Due to AC failure while travailing from LTT to KKW on dated 08/04/2016 i registered the complained at SM office by same date but regret to inform you that there is no reply from Kokan Railway.                           Dear sir/madam,

                          This is with ref. To todays hault of rajya rani express train no.11003 at station not on platform but in parking track.
                          Due to this there was too much of inconvience to peoples who got down at vaibhavwadi station.
                          When complained to vaibhavwadi station master, it was told that the konkan kanya express 10111 was running late and was about to come behind this train and preference was given to konkan kanya train.
                          What we inform you is this is very very inconvient for older age passengers and children to get down on track without platform with their luggage.
                          So suggest you to please construct the other platform at opposite side as there is enough space for the same and fob foot over bridge to go and come .

                          This is happening at the vaibhavwadi station frequently whenever there is
                          Problem of halting two trains at same time.

                          Hope you will consider this request favourable and take necessary actions.

                              The booking staff at counter give all types of excuses for allotting the room, I insisted to give me a room & reluctantly after spending 10 mnts I got the room at 8am & left same day at 22.00Hrs. The Reason for all this fuss, I noticed was the station staff make use of the rooms during the day as none other then us was there in trough out the day in the remaining 4 rooms except staff creating lots of noise. The Bath room/Toilet was also in bad shape. Another worst place was near the Saraswati bank Atm which is just outside the window of the room where many local young boys use as a open bar in the presence of the security guard of the Atm.

                                Please make a note that on 14/6/2015 when 5 o[censored]s were travelling back to Mumbai from Madgaon, we were scared of attendants who were drunk. My younger sister went for toilet at about 7 p.m. in the train washroom, she found 4 brown uniform men seating there in passage and having drinks. She was scared and came back to her seat. Then my husband and my brother-in-law went and checked, they also found many of the attendants were enjoying their drinks in passage. After some time some passengers also started their party in the passage and also were allowed to smoke in the train. Nobody objected because staff themselves were in same state and families like us were scared of the situation as it was night time. Konkan railway should please make note of this as accident may cause because of this and the staff misbehaving should be fired. But still we managed to complain to TC, he got one of the attendant to us and started shouting at him. I think he should have managed it himself keeping out identity anonymous.

                                  Platform no1 at Thivim is in a shocking state for commuters. While the concrete slabs are loose and not cemented, the un even surface makes it difficult to wheel trolley bags to the coach. One can imagine the plight of senior citizens as they have to physically carry their luggage as the platform is not suitable for wheeling luggage. I myself found it extremely inconvenient to move to my coach position. While I understand that renovation work is going on, that is no excuse for the state of the platform. We as citizens expect a fully tiled platform to make boarding /alighting at Thivim a comfortable experience. May I add this state of the platform is for the last couple of years (I am a regular traveller) M. de souza

                                  There are also many labourers some of them drunk using the waiting hall & the platform during night to sleep. We felt the place unsafe for women after sunset
                                  Most of the main stations on KR (Udupi, Madgaon, Thivim) are very dirty with stains on the floor, dustbins overflowing, dogs freely roaming/sleeping on the platforms, Passengers sleeping middle of platform 1 at these stations, which makes moving with children & trolley bags very difficult.

                                    I booked 3 tickets at M/s Agarwal communcations at Porvorim Goa today for train ticket from Goa to Mumbai by Jan Shatabdi express for 3 passengers to travel in June 2015. The ticket printed showed the ticket amount plus Rs.40 as service fees mentioned against per passenger.The lady at the counter asked me to pay Rs.30 per ticket in excess of what is shown on the printed ticket and when I asked for the receipt, refused to issue a receipt.This is the third time I have booked ticket at Agarwal communications and felt cheated in the same manner as they always insist on paying the excess invisible charges not printed on the ticket. Being authorised agents, we are already paying Rs.40 as service fees of the agent. The Rs.30 extra against each ticket is uncalled for and not accounted anywhere. It is nothing but daylight robbery and cheating by so called authorized agents. I wonder how these black money makers continue earning this bad money by cheating people of their hard earned money? They are getting nothing but curses from people who spend their hard earned money with these cheats who are out to make easy money.Is anyone listening? Or are they hand in glove with railway officials?

                                      I booked 3 tickets at M/s Agarwal communcations at Porvorim Goa today for train ticket from Goa to Mumbai by Jan Shatabdi express for 3 passengers to travel in June 2015. The ticket printed showed the ticket amount plus Rs.40 as service fees mentioned against per passenger.The lady at the counter asked me to pay Rs.30 per ticket in excess of what is shown on the printed ticket and when I asked for the receipt, refused to issue a receipt.This is the third time I have booked ticket at Agarwal communications and felt cheated in the same manner as they always insist on paying the excess invisible charges not printed on the ticket. Being authorised agents, we are already paying Rs.40 as service fees of the agent. The Rs.30 extra against each ticket is uncalled for and not accounted anywhere. It is nothing but daylight robbery and cheating by so called authorized agents. I wonder how these black money makers continue earning this bad money by cheating people of their hard earned money? They are getting nothing but curses from people who spend their hard earned money with these cheats who are out to make easy money.Is anyone listening? Or are they hand in glove with railway officials?

                                        I was travelling with my family on 24.05.2015 by 10112 Konkan Kanya Express from Ratnagiri to CST in night. I booked my tickets in class 2A on the opening date of reservation and I got wailtlisted ticket. On final preparation of chart on date of journery I was allotted 2 seats in HA1 - 2 and 17 and 3 tickets was RAC in coach A1- 37 & 37. and A1-39. (PNR [protected]). So we five people had to accomodate ourselves in 3.5 seats. I asked for Bed Sheet, pillow and blanket for RAC seats, but the attendant did not provide us saying that he does not have extra after distributing all for confirmed seats. I argued that RAC passengers also paid full fare and get half seats which is very unfair, still at least you provide us one one pillow so that 2 people can sleep on one seat. But we were not provided the same. Even talking to TC did not yield any results. Ultimately we had to pass sleepless night. This is totally unfair that even after charging full money for RAC, Railway does not provide basic thing the RAC passengers.
                                        Konkan Railway customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
