Updated by debun On 19.09.16 I gave my phone at authorized lenovo service centre Sahid nagar Bhubaneswar, at BMC bhawani mall, as it was getting hanged and also getting on and off repeatedly.
The personnel told that it will take 7 to 10 days and said its a battery problem and took Rs 200/- towards advance.
After 8 days when i went there they had not touched my phone and when asked about it they put a battery and said its done.
while starting my phone there it didn't started and they said its a software problem and updated the software. the problem was not solved and the manager said he will deliver tomorrow. Even though i lost all my data by software update.
Next day when i inquired he said it will take another day and like wise from monday to thursday he didnt deliver.
On thursday evening when i went there he said that its a motherboard problem and it will take another week to solve the problem.
when inquired the manager said that first my complain will be closed for battery and then another complain number will be created.
The gentlemen, who is the manager over there even humiliated me, by saying whether i know the meaning of "corporate" and whether i am aware of their operating procedures.
My humble submission..
Is there any protection available in this country to consumers from such business practices or not.
Hope i will get some help from you.
Phone are a part of life nowadays, to stay without it for 12 days and counting.
I am literally disconnected from communication.
Why this hit and trial method?
Is there any accountability or not and do customers are jokers to you.
