    Hi Team I submitted my ECS bank transfer details for my home loan AC number[protected] to LIC in Nov 2013 from Citibank to Kotak Mahindra bank Acknowledgement attached. The same was not updated by LICHFL and the ECS was directed towards my old account which had subsequently closed after 3 months from the submission of application.Fine got accumulated as defaulter due to this ECS attempt failure with no fault from my end. I visited LIC approx. 20 times in the past 1.5 yrs to get this issue rectified with no success till date. Everytime LIC came up with an excuse of IT technical error at LIC end which has taken 1.5 yrs. This has impacted my CIBIL credit rating and my applications for Credit card etc are getting rejected now. Every visit made me stay for entire day at LIC office with no positive result and just same comment from LIC that it will be resolved in 1 week. On 8th May LIC waived off 25K fine while I was forced to pay an amount of 635 INR as Bank Charges for LIC system fault.

      I had taken LIC Home loan. I never such bad service and worst response from LIC HFL. If government company itself doing this way whom we can go and report. 1. Whenever they increase the interest rate, they will never intimate us. In the same all private/government banks are intimating. 2. When we got branch where we had taken the loan, they will ask for all suggestion to go Head office. Just think off my house near to branch and far way to Head office, every time how we can travel. 3. We can pay part payments in the online and also can't pay as cash. Only cheques. It's big headache, think off if we go to weekends it's big queue. The person will take only the cheques till 12'0 out of that time he will go for , urine and tea, . some stupid will do chit chat with neighbours. He don't have courtesy customers are in line. 4. Last is, the report rate has been reduced, but LIC was charging with old repo rate. If we go and ask for change the interest rate, they are asking to pay for .5 of loan amount. Other banks only taking just 5000 to 6000rs. But LIC taking more amount. What type of service it is, Is it government trusted company for customers. Or they want to all the amount from people, say like we are big ppl are in the market. Don't what it, I have every day dream to come out of loan. I want to clear, god nows how I can clear before 20yrs. I am afraiding for loans now. Because of my home loan I decided not to by car for another 5yrs till I want clear my whole home loan.

            I have taken a housing loan in Dec 2009 @8.9% and it continued for next three years as offred.After 3 years the interest rate shoots up to 12% and it is much higher than what other new gwn banks like AXIS, HDFC etc have been charging at a floating rate.My EMI increased more than 10%.Also LIC HFL did not pass over the REPO rate reduction from RBI also.Now banks like AXIS and HDFC floating rates are arround 10.5% for their existing customers and LIC HFL is looting their alreday existing [protected]@12%.LIC HFL should do justice to their present customers.Think 10 times before approaching LICHFL for home loans.
            I am also experiencing the same; they are worse than local money lenders doing ' kanduvatti' business ( loan sharks ); nowadyas they are engaging ' gundas ' (goons ) in Chennai Saidapet office to make calls to you for repayment delays even though there are all property guarantees and they collect heavy penalty for delays; may be somebody in the LICHFL management looting money in the name of payment to these rowdies for collection. They are just not bothered for customers, like the old days when LIC harassed all their customers.

              My current interest rate is too high @ 11.75 percent which was not there anywhere when i took the loan and even now its not there. I dont have money to pay such a high interest rate. Either LIC HFL should reduce the rate to 10.50 or i have to default on their loan. By Charging 11.75 percent they make people fool and loot us to make good profit. Regards, Chirag Bhuta [protected]

                Hi, I have a housing loan with LICHFL, loan number[protected]. It is of floating interest rate (initial 2 years ROI was 10.25 %). Now from April 2015 my ROI is suddenly increased into 11.75 %, however according to RBI home loan rate should be reduced. In spite of repeated request, they have not reduced it.                     I have moved out of country and its been couple of months, so i have opted to renew my lic policy through lic website. Since its been many years have created the profile in the portal, was not able to recollect my password. When i tried the regular process of reset password through 'Forgot my password' link, it asked as for full length of details. As soon as i complete the form and click submit button it says new password link is sent to registered email address, but no email turns up. I did it couple of times to double check, but every time I see the same message on the poratl and no email is triggered. Please fix the issue, it a blunder. I know LIC is big organization, if you do not fix such small things people will no more go with you. Mine is totally frustrating experience!!!

                              Dear Madam/Sir, I have given a SBI Cheque No 276525, of Rs 43427/- (of Branch: Tonto, Jhinkpani, Jharkhand - 833215) to Mr Sita Ram Sinha (Agent: LIC, Lar Town, Deaoria, UP) for new Life Insurance policy in name of my wife Mrs Sadhana Srivastava. Form was completely filled by the agent Mr Sita Ram Sinha & signed by my wife with all required documents. (Actually Mr Sita Ram Sinha is a father of my friend working with me at Jhinkpani & visited at Jhinkpani in first week of March, he request me for a policy as his target was failing so we have done one policy of Rs 500000/-) Rs 43427/- was deducted from my SBI account on 20th March 2015 but till now we have not received any document related to Life Insurance Policy at my address. So I am worried about mischievous act by the agent that policy is taken in name of my wife or not.                                   I have three Loan a/cs Nos 1. [protected] of Rs 9.30 Lac, 2. [protected] of Rs 6.0Lac and 3.[protected] of Rs8.0 Lac taken on 12.10.2003, 29.11.2006 and 31.10.2011, respectively. In loan a/c no.[protected] which was sanctioned on 29.11.2006, there is a wide difference in Interest and Principal amount as compared to my other a/cs. I had given a request regarding this matter in Area Office at Vaishali Nagar which was forwarded to LIC HFL head office JAIPUR two months back but I did not get any response.                                     my policy no[protected] has got matured in the month of ec14, but till date i have not recd the maturity amount. i have been following up with Ranchi lalpur branch and got a reply that the amount has been credited to my corporation bank account, but in my bank account the amount was not there, so again i visited the branch and started following up, then came to know that there is a mistake in the account no of mine and the amount has been credited to somebody elses account. This is such a mess i cant even explain. then the concern employee said we are putting a mail and will inform when the cheq comes back to us. but after my several follow-up till date there is no respond. Kindly look into the matter as its already 4 months over from the date of maturity.
