Dear Sir, Myself Mr. Mahesh Bhosale, I have taken a Housing Loan from LIC Housing Finance Limited, Kharadi Branch, Pune bearing Loan Account No.[protected]. Currently I am having a Housing Loan of around Rs 2400000/- at the floating Interest of 11%. I have approached the Branch for foreclosure of Housing Loan as I was planning to shift the same loan to SBI / HDFC where interest rates are low but I was told by the Branch Manager Mr. Rajiv that I need to pay a Penalty of 2% as the foreclosure is not from my own source. Recently I have came across the RBI Guideline dated 5th June 2012, bearing reference number RBI/ 2011-12/ 589. DBOD. No. Dir. BC. 107 / 13.03.00/ 2011-12 which says "The Damodaran Committee had observed that foreclosure charges levied by banks on prepayment of home loans were resented upon by home loan borrowers across the board, especially since banks were found to be hesitant in passing on the benefits of lower interest rates to the existing borrowers in a falling interest rate scenario. As such, foreclosure charges are seen as a restrictive practice deterring the borrowers from switching over to cheaper available source. It is felt that the removal of foreclosure charges/prepayment penalty on home loans will lead to a reduction in the discrimination between existing and new borrowers and the competition among banks will result in finer pricing of home loans with the floating rate. Though many banks have, in the recent past, voluntarily abolished the pre-payment penalties on their floating rate home loans, there is a need for ensuring uniformity across the banking system in this regard. Accordingly, it is proposed". Request you to help me in either reducing the interest rates or shift the Loan to other bank with paying this foreclosure amount of Rs. 50000/- approx.     I am Rajeev Diwakar and my policy no. is[protected]. Date of maturity is 10.07.2013. I have already submitted the required documents at branch office at Patna in August 2013. NIFT form has also been submitted at the time of maturity of my earlier policy no.[protected] in March/April 2013 in which I requested for NIFT facility of this policy no.[protected] also. Even after repeated request in person at your branch office, I have not received my maturity amount till date. You are therefore requested to kindly give my maturity at the earliest.

    the maturity amt. is Rs 30425 and the due date was 25.01.2009. i personally handed over the original policy to the Mohali(punjab) branch on 03.01.2009. I was supposed to get the post dated cheque before 25.01.2009. but so far i have not received it . kindly convey my complaint to the lic .

    Non receipt of maturity amount

    I have a policy for Rs 30000 sum assured. My policy no is[protected] which is matured on 18/01/2009.
    I was supposed to get the post dated cheque before 18.01.2009. but so far i have not received it . kindly convey my complaint to the lic .My postal address is

    I have not received my policy matured amount though it was maturated on 19th Jan 2009.My plicy no. is 73729815. This policy was take on 20th jan 1984. After paying off all the premium I am waiting for the mercy of LIC Bangalore branch. I have speed posted the original policy on 17th Feb along with Discharge Vouchre but no responce from the branch thogh after tracking Spped post web I came to know that the policy was received on 19th Feb by the branch.
    Please advice course of action.

    LIC OF INDIA — NON RECEIPT OF MATURITY PAYMENT

    The following were due for payment in March and June 2009
    Pol No 26203973 & 26251123.
    But despite of letters personal phone to branch I could not receive the payment so far.
    On contacting Branch office Hardwar (UP) Branch office (I) where Mr Sharma is looking after the maturity claim, I disheartened to hear the words spoken by Mr Sharma what to say fo receiving payments of the aforesaid policies. On 30.10.2009 I wrote a letter to your DO Dehradun & BRANCH ALSO BUT TO NO AVAIL.
    Now nothing is left with me except to appoach you.
    hope you will take up the matter so that i can get my payment against the aforesaid policies.

    Dear Sir,
    In continuation of my letter dated 05.02.2011 and in reference to letter no.CRM/SAN/2010 dated 02.12.2010 of Manager CRM Agra. I am enclosing here with Medical Attandeant's Certificate of Hospital treatmet from Metro Medical Hospital, Noida on form B1.
    The claim is lying pending since 17.12.2009 due to your negligence that is why I have approach the Hon'ble High Court to expedite the claim woth in the time allowed by the court and to avoid further statuary complications.
    It is therefore requested please settle the claim along with interest @ 18% since 17.12.2009 to the date of payment.

    I have taken abovementioned policy under salary saving scheme through
    servicing branch office Kannauj
    date of commencement 11.10.1983 date of maturity 11.10.1998 sum assured Rs. 5000/-
    prem.Rs.35.20 and enhanced prem after some time Rs. 74.15. Ihave paid regular premium . as maturity period have passed long back and till them I am waiting for
    maturity amount. I have written so many times but no reply received Please look into matter and arrange to pay maturity value with bonus and interest wef 11.10.1998.

      I tried to pay my premium online several times using PAy Direct option... Always throws a single Error- "Wrong Data Entered".... Your Register New User link also keeps throwing errors and does not allow us to register ourselves. Can you please explain how it works and how else can I pay my premiums online? I have tried umpteen number of times... I does work. Tried customer care number but no response.

        Sir, My Loan Account No. is [protected], date of Loan sanctioned was 04/09/2009, amount was Rs 15,00,000.00 (Fifteen Lacs). Loan was taken for the purpose of purchase of New Bungalow at Renaussance project, Burdwan, W.B.The Cheques were issued in the course of time to the builder as and when demanded by the builder/company in time (total amount was released for Rs.13,80,000.00 by till date-17/09/2013) . The project of my bungalow was completed and the bungalow was finally handed over to me after the registration done on 12/05/2013. The original registration papers of my bungalow were submitted at your office in the month of June 2013. And by the rules the balance amount should be released sooner the deposition of original registration paers. But sorry to say that till date (17/09/2013) the amount is not yet released to my account so far. I have inquired from my Authorised LICHFL agent and he replied me that the balace amount cheque has not yet received from Kolkata Office. I could not understand the cause of delay in getting my balance amount inspite of being paid my EMIs in time so far. And also, I had applied for topup of loan for the purpose of my interior finishing of my Bungalow in the month of June 2013 under my same Loan account No. and again sorry to say that so far there is no response from your end.           Sir,
          I have two policies- no[protected] and[protected] in plan term 165/20. I had told to my agent that the duration of my Policy should be ten years, but he has made it for 20 years. On being asked why he had done this he replied that it will matter at all and I can claim full benefit after 10 years.
          kindly let me know the truth. I would be highly obliged if you could kindly let me know the maturity amount after 10 years. Hoping to here from at the earliest.

              Dear Sir, I am writing this mail to you to tell you about our pathetic experience with LIC Housing Finance (Udaipur) for the Loan of our newly purchased flat. We had given preference to LHF over other banks and decided to take the loan from it. Earlier, the staff person was very cooperative. He came to our house myriads of time for documents and timely gave us a call if anything else was required. The details of the loan are as follows: Loan Amount: 2400000/-Rs Rate of interest: 10 % (for Female) (Fixed rate for 3 years and Floating after that) Processing fees: 7500/- Rs Date of submission of all the required documents: 31st August 2013 (All document were submitted and processing check of around 1200 Rs was also given) Well, after this we were told that the loan will be processed easily and we have nothing to worry about. We asked this to him that what if the rates increases in next few days. He answered that you don’t have to worry and your case is valid for whole September even if the rate increases, your case will remain the same. We were happy and thought that our loan would be soon processed without any problem. They started doing their work. Due to some machine problem at their end they could not send our file on time. (This is none of our business) Any explanation for this??? Now, the scene is that a circular came on 4th Sep 2013 regarding the increase in Rate of interest from 10% to 10.35 % but they didn’t bother to tell us about it. The rate was increased, the processing fee was increased and the tenure was decreased from 3 to 2 years. But nobody informed us. On 13th Sep, we called the agent (who was doing our work). He came to our house for taking the agreement to sale. To our shock, the rate of interest in the paper was 10.35% . Till that time also he didn’t bother to inform us. He didn’t even tell us about the increase in processing fee and change in tenure. We only came to know about this from the office when we went there to meet the manager personally. We didn’t go to any other bank and missed their schemes at that time since LHF had given us a better scheme. Now we are in no man’s land. We have no way out. They have increased the rates and other banks too. Now who is going to bear this loss? Due to your poor service and delay in work we are facing such a big loss. This is ridiculous. For a middle class person a difference of[protected] matters a lot. You have left us in midway. WE are deeply shattered by such a behavior. We didn’t expect such a treatment from a big name like LIC Housing Finance. I want an answer. I am not going to leave this matter without any result. We want our compensation for the loss. We are not going to suggest LHF to anybody in our life. I am going to raise this issue everywhere possible. You won’t understand the bas phase from which we are going due to this.                     Please provide as mucLIC Housing Loan - Received a very bad service from an Agent as well as from Tambaram branchh information Hello, I am an extremely disappointed customer of LICHFL. I would like to share my very bad and pathetic experience with LICHFL. I have a salary account with HDFC bank and I applied for the home loan with LICHFL, after a very long one month my Home loan got processed and get approved, at last after all the processing fee and stamp fees and every thing was collected, LICHFL got rejected my loan due to my poor condition of my old parent documents. (we have copy of new documents) I know very well that my documents is not in good conditions but it is readable and I showed it to the LIC agent (Umapathy Tambaram Branch) who processed my Loan and to the Manager who stayed in Saidapet. At the final stage when releasing the Cheque they rejected my file. I don't know why Saidapet manager accepted it in the first stage and rejected at the final stage. An agent by the name Umapathy from Tambaram I received a very bad experience with him. We showed all the documents at the beginning when we signed an application form, at the first stage he might have showed the files, but he dint do that. Totally disappointed very poor customer service, unprofessional agents, No one owns the responsibility. The agent Umapathy. his attitude is pathetic and does not help in need.                       Dear LIC, Below are my LIC housing loan related details- LIC Customer id: 18466078 LIC housing loan#[protected] I have taken Rs. 23 Lakhs for a period of 15years. Rate of Interest offered to me is 10.7% per annum.. With this the EMI should be 25,710/- per month as I have verified with few online home loan calculators. Instead I have been paying Rs. 25,937/- from the first month onwards. I would like to know why there is a difference of 227/- per month? Thanks, Sreenivas & SUchitra

Name – Neha chitrasen nahak Policy no[protected] Date of issued -11DEC2012 Years -15years Yearly paying-33861 Policy name - JEEVAN TRANG Assured to -chitrasen udaynath nahak Name – Zoya chitrasen nahak Policy no[protected] Date of issued – 11 JAN 2013 Years -18years Yearly paying- 23176 Policy name - JEEVAN ankur Assured to –Pusphanjali chitrasen nahak The issue is that in 1) The zoya chitrasen nahak policy assured name is pusphanjali chitraen nahak. But they put a wrong name in a bond name is chitrasen udaynath nahak 2) In the 2 policy I will get a 4 mediclaim card of rs 3lkh assured neha,zoya,chitrasen,pusphanjali. This 4 card I will get sepreate they told me but its 8 month over now yet I not recived the card 3) In the time of purchase the policy they told me u will get the 10% discount on both policy In the next premium and u will send the letter for 10% discount also . so sir that also I not got. Whenever I m calling they r recevieng the call and telling tranfersing the call and call is end in middle. And when connected they r telling that we are sending wait. Now its 8 month over So please help me for that I m requesting to u sir 10% discount on premium and proof ,mediclaim card of 4 members, and the wrong name entered in zoya policy. So don’t know where to contact the name vijay,simran, Sharma I talked with thm but not giving a response some time not reciveing the call and the manager mr. abhisek also told me we are sending but now yet nothing has be done.                           Dear Sir, I met C Dhanasekaran, of LICHFL agent on 24-Aug-13 for my Housing loan and handed over the documents. He agreed to complete the loan in 2 months. He want 4% of loan amount as Process fee and Service charges. He informed me that without LIC policy for 1 lach, your loan will not get sanction.But I refused strongly and escaped from that issue. But after 4 months of time, he is not able to get a single cheque for me. but I paid 30000 (Thirty thousands) before 2 months as service charge. He always keen about his paymets and not his customers. ON THE TOP OF IT FOR THE PAST 1 MONTH HE IS NOT AT ALL LIFTING MY CALLS. Please help me to solve the issue. All other Rajapalayam area people, please keep your time well in advance (4 ~ 5 months) before reach him.

                          They processed my checque faster after posting in this website. They did service better than previously. They called my mobile and asked about the status of the construction to relese second cheque. They cleared that too.
                          Please correct the above date as 24-April-13 in the first line.

                            My first ECS from Kotak Bank got returned in Dec 12 as LIC has charged for ECS (@34000.00) of full loan sanctioned amt 40 lacs and I had to bear the ECS return charges in Kotak Simultaneously LIC has charges some penalty interest on its own and not being intimated to me on mail or letter. Due to which the next demand from my builder was on hold and not being intimated to me. On enquiry from the builder after 5 months about the same, I had to coordinate with Mr RM to make the penalty of 3000.00 to LICHF. Post that LICHF made the disbursement to TANVIafter @6 months. Now Tanvi asked for penal interest of 28000.00 which I had to pay Over the period of time I have suffered a lot granting loan from LICHF and coordinating with my RM Santosh Khanojia and every time I get an answer like month end pressure to handle the query and there is system issue in the starting of the months. Looking forward to have healthy relationship with you and recovery of Rs 31000.00 Regards, Kharabela Behera

                              I am lic agent from the year 2000 in Lic of India Branch-895 Fort Mumbai pin-4000001.my Agency code no[protected] / D.O. Code-006857 my TDS deduction from my commission period of year Amount 04/2007-03/2008 Rs. 7363 04/2008-03/2009 Rs. 3474 04/2009-03/2010 Rs. 4695 04/2010-03/2011 Rs. 6695 04/2011-03/2012 Rs. 4687 total Rs. 26914 was deducted from my commission But I have not received refund because my original PAN NO ADVPT4533F BUT LIC deduction and send wrong PAN NO ADCPT4533F. I submit my pan card xerox copy to lic before deduction Who is wrong I don't know LIC OR TDS DEPARTMENT AYYKAR BHAVAN But Please give me my tds refund immediately

                                It is really embarrassing for me to write something against an LICI agent, but I cannot help but to write my grievances as I am facing financial loss. I am disturbed by the overall behavioral pattern of the following agent: Amita Sengupta A-49 Tribeni Tissues Estate, Chanderhati , Hoogly -712504 Agent Code: 07832443 0199043 Cell: [protected] This is also to be mentioned that my term insurance policy had lapsed due to my over-dependency on the above-mentioned agent: Being an academician with busy schedule, I must admit that I do not have time to handle all these (almost 25+) policies and I have to depend on the agents. Though I had tried my best to recover it, I cut a sorry figure as the said agent did not co-operate me and was playing with my valuable term insurance. I must admit that I have never faced/ experienced such negligence coupled with irresponsibility or callous behavior of agents in executing almost 30+ policies (including matured policies). I have got warm co-operations from other agents throughout my happy journey with LICI over almost 25 years. I must also add that the agent concerned here does not have knowledge about term insurance policy. I am also anticipating the misusing of money paid by cheques and cash by the said agent. I will be glad if LICI would enquire or investigate the money-matters associated with that agent. Probably she cannot handle financial transactions. As per my little understanding (I will be happy if I would be proved wrong!), I think that she is psychosomatically challenged in these days of all-pervading stressed human existence. I wish to convey only one message to her: Mrs. Sengupta, get well soon.

                                  i was send 4 mail to Area Manager but Still i am not received any response form him. sir, As per telephonic conversation with Area manager dated-07/08/2013 he need a mail with details description regarding my loan A/c no-[protected]. My loan account is takeover by IDBI BANK Silliguri branch on dated-04/06/2013 and LICHFL office was issued NOC for the said loan and that day office staff Ms.Nivedita told Mr.Gobinda Ray (IDBI Staff) that my document is in Kolkatta (original Lic Deed And Flat Registration Deed) and it will take 15 to 20 days to bring from Kolkatta. According to MS.NIVEDITA We had visited LICHFL office on dated-05/07/2013 that day she handover us LIC deed and she told me regarding my flat registration deed again it will take 7 days to bring from Kolkatta after 7 days when i and Mr. Gobinda Ray (IDBI Staff) was telephone to her she told me my one month installment is due because they told me my one month instalment cheque is bounce i told to her that kindly issue me a official letter mentioning in details and she told me to bring NOC which was issue by LICHFL office. Due to transportation problem that time i could not able to visit LICHFL office and i send to Mr. Gobinda Ray (IDBI Staff) that time she told to him that Instalment is clear only i have to pay cheque bounce charge.
                                  sir, due to this still my balance amount of rs-52,000/ is not release by IDBI. and Rs-26000/ not refund by LICHFL office.

                                  So, sir please take necessary action on my case as early as possible.

                                        HI All,

                                        I had applied for loan with LICHFL 1 weeks back. I had given check as Rs 6180/- as initial amount as processing fee to LICHFL. But because of some issue in my CIBIL reprot LICHFL has rejected the loan. Later I asked to refund the processing fee as the loan is not processed. LICHFL says there would not be refund of money. my question is if loan is not processed then why they are taking this much amount? As per my knowledge...
