I had applied for home loan from LIC Housing Finance Ltd. from Jalandhar branch (through an agent at Jammu) about one year back and my 1st disbursement was made in the month of October’09, only after giving so many visits to agent’s office at Jammu as well as at Jalandhar office also. My house is almost in the final stage of construction and the 2nd disbursement is not being made so far. Even the representatives at Jalandhar office will not show me the exact scenario of my loan case and also they have not picked up my phone for my quarries. I also even don’t know my loan case number as well as my application number.

I have applied for housing loan near about 50 days before. Still my loan has not been sanctioned. Please takle action quickly.

This has reference to my letter dt 27.05.08 addressed to Senior divisional manager, and a copy to you.
I have grievence about non payment of my LIC policy matured on January 2008. the details are here under.

1.Policy holder: Miriyala Saibabu

2.Policy: no[protected] dt 30.01.1988 Vijayavada city branch for Rs.25, 000/- (14-20) matured on January 2008 under salary saving scheme.

3.A small loan was availed during 1992-94 at CB XVII branch, Hyderabad along with other policies where the policy was transferred at that time and the policy was pledged with you.

4.Later I was transferred from Hyderabad to Eluru in 2003 and again from Eluru to Vijayavada in August 2005 and premiums are being remitted from my salary regularly with out any gap.( Vja to Basheerbagh, Hyerabad to CB XVII and then to Rajamundry Service br and later to Vijayavada LIC Offices)



Eventhough there is no intimation either before maturity or after, i submitted the claim forms during February 2008 with request to arrange maturity amount along with benefits.As the matter is being postponed days and weeks since February by CB II Vijayavada branch with out payment saying that the details are not available at vijayavada and to be received from CB XVII Hderabad, I was`compelled to write this compliant after vexed with routine reply from ur CB II office and after lapse of more than 100 days .Is it justified to settle a claim for a period of nearly 4 months, what evermay be the reason and and how ever may be the difficulty in the problem.and is there any juctice in it.

Any way, now I request your intervene and arrange payment from City branch, salary savings, Vijayavada, without any loss of time.

LIC Home Loan Finance is big cheat. I had a very bad experience with LIC. Never go for LIC home loan.

I am a software engineer and recently booked flat in Pune.

I had sanctioned the Home loan from LIC Housing finance with rate of interest as 9.25% fixed for 5 yrs, through agent Riddhi Financial services Pune (Address : Nana Peth Concerned person: Prashant Shembekar). This loan was sanctioned on[protected] which was valid for 90 days (i.e till 30-Dec-2010).



As I had completed my agreement with the builder on 13th Dec 2010, I had submitted all the required documents to Mr Prashant Shembekar on 14th Dec 2010. There were few issues with the documents so we corrected those by 25th Dec 2010.

Still we had 5days in hand and being as a Finance person and having 10yeras of field experience Mr Shembekar would have knowledge about the process.

But due to his mistake and lack of care, my loan got cancelled.

Then also he didn’t provide me sufficient information. After taking close follow up, I got to know the fact.

He re-sanctioned the loan for me but with rate of interest as 9.75%.

So now I have to pay these extra charges.



Suggestion for new applicants: whenever possible go through directly banks and instead of going through these agents
Also I have got very less amoun at the time of first disbursement. no one from LIC or agent provide correct information.

I had a very bitter experience with ur LIC Housing Finance company..which i seems to be one of the esteemed organisation, but i find its only on papers.
To tell you i have taken housing loan on 13/01/2010 & my loan account no.:[protected], loan amount: 11.25 lacs & because of delayed payment made by ur team at chandigarh...builder had penalise me for 4 lacs amount, despite of payment made by me on time.. I am in total disaaray as to what shud i do...Need ur help as builder had put in a huge penalty of 4lacs on me.

Need resolution & intervention of some senior official from Housing finance & get me a leeway from such penalty.

I too having the same issue. actually 6 months before i applied for 15 lac, 4 monts before they gave a letter with 14 lac. i build my house more than 50%, but still they not yet give the first cheque. now they are preparing second offer letter to me.

really too hard, last one month i could not do any construction work in my house, so really it shame to me..

i also paid for profit plus and I do not know how many units i have received.

can any one tell me how is that calculated?

LIC INDIA MONEY PLUS AND PROFIT PLUS
Dear Sir,

I have Paid yearly premium for money Plus and Profit Plus in nearest branch Panchwati (Azad pur) Delhi of LIC. But till date i donot get letter of LIC for to allow units against my premium paid. So i cannot understand that how many units i have hold, since i have paid 3 premiums.
In above said case what i have to be done? How i know for units againsts my premium.
is it compulsory for LIC to inform the customer in written for units allowed against his premium paid?
Please inform me at earlist.

My suggestion is i[censored] r going for pure Insurenece get a term policy from any of the recognised private bank/insurence company.
LIC is not worth if you are looking for high sum assured for minimum premium.
The surrender charges are very high compared to any other insurence plans.

What do you mean by "overseas personnel details"?
If it is address, nominee etc. It can be changed even now. Now as the policy is already there no need of giving it now.

It will be required, only in case you are planning for new policy.

You can make premium payment from NRI bank a/c there is absolutely no problem in doing it.

As the Policy is on your name, it will be definitely helpful for me if any thing happened to you abroad. Be assured about LIC.
