Our lic policy no.[protected] fell due for replacement in march, 2018, as per intimation received from lic of india. (The last instalment premium was due on 20/9/2017, and was duly paid well before due date). All required documents were submitted in april, 2018, and the concerned staff member said the payment can be had after a week. We got an sms that the bank account given in the application for repayment had been registered, some 15 days back, but the proceeds on maturity is yet to be got. There is no response from the branch over phone, and nobody cares to reply when approached in person. On top of it, i am an advocate myself! Will the proceeds be repaid only through court intervention? I have also sent a complaint to bar council of tamil nadu and pondicherry, attached to madras high court.
