My issue with LIFECELL was that after enrolling with them I had paid them for a lifetime scheme, but they failed to credit the money into their system. Inspite of repeated reminders they did not issue me a receipt for the same. On the day they collected the money they had told me that updation of computers were going on, and that I will get a electronically generated receipt soon... Which I did not receive. They initiated the sample collection after my baby was born. Now they tell me that there is no proof that I had paid the money and that I have to repay the same amount or else the contract is deemed invalid. I feel cheated and helpless.

Please read through several other reviews about the company in the consumer forum blog.

There is no proper monitoring system over these people and the state level teams are completely inefficient.
One of the state heads told me to settle the issue with the representative who had come to my house ( who is apparently an ex employee to the company now )... I told him my contract is with your COMPANY, not with any INDIVIDUAL. ( see with what audacity he is trying to push off the blame ).

These people come to our homes with so many promises during the plush period of pre-delivery; when we all are prone to do anything to secure our child's life. Later when the smoke settles we realise we made bad decisions in happy hours.

I feel this money driven industry is not to serve but only to extract.

I am not a person who likes to tarnish other people's reputations but this is SAD... insanely SAD.

    Lifecell International — Cord tissue / Stem cell contamination

    I have opted for Cord tissue and cord blood for my kid in lifecell.
    Lifecell people came and collected sample from Global heart hospital, Vashali nagar. Jaipur on 11 march, 2016. I got final preservation letter from lifecell for cord blood and tissue.

    In august 2016, I have received a mail from Lifecell my kids cord tissue got contaminated after my regular follow up with these I'd****. I suspect the problem is with Lifecell, they have not treated the life saving cells properly or they don't have that technology to preserve it.
    When I asked them about it they said the use of stem cell in India is not possible currently so I asked them y u are charging for it . These companies are fooling the parents and charging handsome amount. How people can trust they are not able to store cells for 6 months how it can be stored for life time. Government also have involved thats y these practices are going.

    They just playing I request the parent be aware before going for it.

    If someone Experienced pl advice how to teach lesson to these fake companies.

      Hello,
      My CRM No is[protected], I registered for the baby shield program a month ago and was given ur paramedic team no but after contacting them they say they are unaware of how to conduct this screening and cannot do it.

      After that I contacted ur support team numerous time via ph n email, to refund my amount as u r unable to collect the sample but still no response from your side. Plz refund my money now.

        I have opted for Cord tissue and cord blood for my kid in lifecell.
        Lifecell people came and collected sample from Cloudnine Bangalore Jayanagar branch on 23rd June, 2016. I got final preservation letter from lifecell for cord blood and tissue.

        In Septemeber 2016, I have received a mail from Lifecell my kids cord tissue got contaminated. I suspect the problem is with Lifecell, they have not treated the life saving cells properly. How people can trust they are not able to store cells for 6 months how it can be stored for life time. Cheap marketing tricks.

        Kindly let me know the procedure to put case against them.

        Its a very bad experience with lifecell, till now I didnt get any call from. I only keep on calling them, they are keep on ignoring my calls. Bad customer service. While taking money they will tell good words, while giving service it is too bad.

          I registered for life cell. At the time of operation my doc told me that the cord is very small and it won't be having sufficient cells ti store. after two days of my operation, I tried to contact the life cell person who gave me the product. but could not reach her. because of poor health, I could not do much. Then i got a letter from life cell that the cells in the cord does not have standard cells to store. I sent the consent letter to discard everything and refund my money. After a very long wait, I contacted the life cell people and got to know that they will not be refunding any amount because they have preserved the tissue. And instead they were demanding 2000rs more. I don't understand from where this tissue thing has emerged. I want my money back completely.

          I have registered for life cell. Unfortunately, the cord was very small and there were no sufficient number of cells to store. I have sent the letter to discard the contract. But don't why the money is not refunded. After too much of follow up for six months, the money got refunded, but only a part of it. Why is LifeCell stealing n charging money for nothing. Request you to please refund my full money immediately.

            Please do not believe the false marketing gimmicks by Life cell. They commit a lot of false promises to seal the deal and once the samples are collected, they care a damn about you and often accuse you of wrong understanding their offers. In my case I was promised free baby blood and urine test to detect disorders, once the collection was done, they went back on their commitments and asked for additional money to do the same. During this discussion neither are they courteous. Unfortunately you cannot do much as you most precious item is already with them and the money of coarse. Avoid life cell, Frankly now i am worried on my baby's stem cell as well.

            Go for any other Stem cell banking as lifecell are cheats

                Life cell is a complete fraud company. There only objective is to lie / cheat / play with emotions of parent.

                During last 5 year of my relationship with them. They totally harassed me.

                In my contract it was clearly written i have to pay 3250 rs for 24 month.

                But now they are asking to pay me 81000/- threatening me to suspension of contract.

                I am also not able to find my crm no on there website.

                They send me storage after 1000 call / email after 2 year.

                  Hello everyone, i am bit confused here:

                  As taking samples is not the big deal, for now i am thinking to go with cordlife, and also thinking to have a demo with life cell, but at the time of presentation cordlife told me that; there are 2 things that life cell is not doing

                  1) at the time o[censored]se of stem cells/ umbilical cord: they (Lifecell) are testing it by themselves (And claiming that the sample is good to use or not), while cordlife is passing the sample to the concerned doctor (Our doctor) and then doctor will test that sample and will judge that it is good to use or not, if it is of no use then cordlife will compensate 20-25 lacks rs..

                  2) at the time of agreement lifecell has written on their agreement that "any damage to the sample at the time of storage / transportation/ natural calamity" will not be bearable by them, but at the other hand cordlife is claiming to compensate for sample (Financially) in any of the 3 cases.

                  Does anyone know about these things??

                  And also is there someone who has used these stem cells/ umbilical cord, so as giving us a picture of what happens at the time of redemption, are they welcoming as they are at the time of signing you up!!

                    Pf forms gets submitted twice in head office (Lifecell centre, 26, vandalur - kelabakkam, keelakottaiyur, chennai - 600048), 1st form i have submitted on 4.03.2016 and due to hr officer's negligence i had to submit the form 2nd time on 12.07.2016. I wanted to withdraw my pf money as i have already mentioned in the form and i have attached my cancelled cheque, account no and other required details. During the time of form submission on 4.03.2016 they said money will be credited within 3 months but i did not received any amount and 2nd time when i have submitted the form on 12.07.2016, hr said money will be credited within 7 working days. Till date i am not getting any updates from head office. Please look after this matter. Urgent.

                      I subscribed for services with lifecell for preserving the umbilical cord of my son in nov'15.

                      I've been sending them emails and calling them to know about the reports of the same, as i've not received any information for the same.

                      I sent them various emails and i always get the reply that they will send me the soft copy within 48 hours and also would receive the hard copy within a week. Till now i've received no confirmation from them.

                      Now i'm tired of following up.

                        Hi all,
                        I am registered user of lifecell.
                        My crm no is[protected].
                        Today i just got call from lifecell, that cord sample contaminated n it was very first communication made from lifecell after collections of cord samplearround.
                        They taken more than one and half month when i did complaint regarding why i have not received any further information from lifecell after collecting my baby's cord sample from hospital.
                        It is very disappointment for me. Who are responsible for this?
                        Its worst experience with lifecell.
                        I will never now recommend lifecell for stem cell banking.

                            After about a month of the birth of my baby, they say the sample is contaminated.
                            They asked for a written consent to discard the sample or cryopreserve but the use of the same is not guaranteed in future due to contamination.
                            I opted for discard and refund but to my surprise, the Co. Refunded only 11000 INR while I paid the complete amount of around 45000 with their foolish offers.
                            It is very disappointing and the Company cannot be trusted.

                              I have purchased service from Lifecell International on August of 2015 . My crm no. is[protected]. They collected the umbilical cord on 5th of September 2015. After that I have called the costumer care no.[protected] so many times for the bond papers . Every time they says you will get it in a week but even after 10 months I have not received any type of documents from the company.

                                I Paid Rs.6000 for the complete screening test for my baby. But it has been almost more than 10 days since i had baby but life cell never collected sample.
                                I informed them the next hour i had my baby. The customer care guy asked me to call a paramedic after 48 hours. I have to tell him that i am really busy as my wife has undergone c section and we have no one to take care of her but me. he promised to send paramedic after 48 hours. Then after 2 days no one came up. Then again have to call Lifecell and again it was left to me to coordinate with lifecell and that PARAMEDIC. I clearly told him to come after informing me. But suddenly one early morning he came to hospital but my baby was in NICU due to health condition and he couldnt even wait for 10 mins. It seems he has instructed hospital nurses to collect sample and left in lurch. But doctors had to screw the nurses for taking orders from a 3rd party and by the time we are discharged form hospital. When contacted he said he would come to my house to collect sample. But he never came.
                                I seriouly dont understand why the hell i have to coordinate between you guys when am paying you to do it? Is that how a professional org behaves? When you cant be trusted for a basic screening test, how can we trust with stem cell preserving? When will it strike in your damn head that parents would be stressed during delivery and they have already got plate full to deal with? Why the hell you guys cant even coordinate for yourself? And when i demanded my money back, no replies from you guys? Just like that you dare to steal my hard earned money? Do you think am gonna let you walk guilt free? I trusted you with my childs future? But you guys never realised what damage you have done to me? Pathetic pathetic..
                                And for who demand CRN No, it is[protected]..
                                I would say to all the parents, never ever trust your childs future with this amateur organisation.. Way to go!!!

                                  Can't trust lifecell at all. My wife delivery is in july. Today i received email and sms from lifecell stating sample has been collected. I called them to inquire on the same; they told me delivery was done on may 29th. Wow; they assigned someone else sample against our records. How will they manage the sample for 21yrs or lifetime; when they can not even assign right sample against right contact. I can't trust them for anything now.. Pathetic... Please be aware about such carelessness.. I was told it is a small error from back-end..

                                  Even after 5 days..there is no resolution..pathetic response...daily a new lie..latest is 'they have collected sample' of someone with same name as my wife's name..and were not able to collect any other information from them..thus assigned that sample against our record..including CRM No. This is the level of system Lifecell has. Even if I believe them, by just first name they will assigned the sample. (No CRM, no phone number, email id, husband's name etc were looked into)
                                  Earlier lies include database issue..back-end error...They have also mailed us the reports of test they have done on sample..and preservation certificate. Keep doing the same stuff and Lifecell will be closed soon.

                                  I NEED MY 100% REFUND; i was told I will receive a call on Saturday evening to explain me regarding the refund process but no call yet. STOP FOOLING PEOPLE; and act on my complain.

                                    As per lifecell baby feeding pillow worth rs. 2000 should be provided for free, but till date they don't have the stock's in place in local mahindra babyoye stores.

                                    If customers are supposed to take that online for extra cost for shipping, why that was told that pillow is free, inspite they would have told we need to pay the amount which is mandatory.

                                    Till date we had all the promises made by lifecell are wrong & also we don't have no idea how the thing work when calling for collecting the sample.??

                                        I have opted for lifecell umbilical cord blood & umbilical cord tissue storage for dual site (Crm no:[protected]. But unfortunately, the cord blood stem cells couldn't be preserved. I have financed the payment through bajaj finance amounting rs.40, 739 (As there was a discount of 5000 through bajaj finance, arranged by life cell only) out of which i paid rs. 8, 749 during initial payment. Since the cord blood stem cells were rejected, the revised invoice amount is rs.10, 249. Also, i had to pay 2 emis (Rs.2806 each).In spite of contacting lifecell many times since the past 2 months, nobody responds & hardly is anybody interested in settling down the refund.

                                        No one from Life cell is actually trying to resolve the matter. It's such a fraud company with a poor customer dealing. Once they get the money, they don't even receive the phone calls. After calling several times finally they received my call few days back & was told that I have to pay another Rs 3500 for final closure with bajaj finance. I paid them immediately. But you won't believe, the day I gave them the money then onward they aren't picking phone calls again. It's my request to all life cell users, please discourage this company to your friends & relatives & save them being trapped.
