Our crm number 60600035

We have paid so far 50000rs since the year 2006
For storage of stem cells for my son.

They have claimed to be some short fall of amount rs. 5800 /- which in our opinion we have paid to their collection agent (Some bpo agents)
So we have asked for the statement of accounts, they have failed to send the same

I have asked for to visit the lab to witness our stem cell storage, for which they wanted us to not to come unannounced, (I sensed some foul play here)

When i asked these two things, they have quietly suspended my account and without sending any notices and calls to our registered mobile numbers.

Now they claim i should pay 5000rs more - for re activation??? (Day robbery)

1. I am willing to pay the genuine outstanding if my payment has not reached them.

2. I cannot pay any penalty charges for no fault of ours.

3. We should be given access to witness their lab during the weekend in order to ensure our stemcells are stored in their premises safely and we need evidence to prove that this storage belongs to us.

4. We need justice and other public should be made aware of these cases.

    My wife delivered twins in april 2017 in bellandur cloud nine hospital. I opted for stem cell storage of both the babies and payment was made. Stem cells were collected. One report came to my address without twin identifocation after 1.5 months. I requested the representative to get it corrected, where she was found un useful in resolving the issue. Other baby report dint turn up even after 4 months. I followed up continously with chennai lab and understood the other baby's report is not approved. I was worried and requested them to check on priority. Last to last week i received the report. There was no twin identification. Im trying to reach the representative where they dont answer the calls. I have requested to talk to the manager, but no one is there to help me. If anyone from lifecell reads this feedback by chance please reach out to me.

      When we are in bengalore, india. From lifecell employee came and register my wife details and we have given initial check and opted for loan from bajaj finance, he created and given crm number also, bajaj finance called me and they approved the loan and lifecell received the totoal amount from finance company. During my wife delivery when i called lifecell local person to collect, he said that the first person, who registered my application is missing some details or some thing, so he created new crm nuber and he collected the things and he informed lifecell about the issue and i also informed about this to lifecell customer care, now my son is 11 months old, but still am getting on the new crm that amount is due, i told lifecell about the issue and explained them that with old crm amount is given to lifcell fro me and from finance company, with new crm things are collected, i asked lifcell to updated the details properly, i even shared loan statement also to lifecell as proof, today also i got mail from lifecell as amount due, this is so irresponsible, why you people did not updated the details, when at the time i told lifecell, they apologized for wrong from their side and they said that they will update the details. This is very serious issue, lifecell is playing with lives of customers.

      This is my old CRM #:[protected], on which first my wife details are intiiated and bajaj finance company also approved loan and the load amount transferred to Lifecell, and i paid all loan EMI s and this is the newCRM No.[protected] created by Cuddapah region lifecell person created and i explained all the details to him and he updated the details to LifeCell and asked them to update accordingly, i also sent mail .         Crm number 92300010

        The company is charging unethically rs 5000 for re-enrolment when i failed to make only last year fee. There is no mention of such charges in the legal agreement. Since the stem cells are there with them they can do what ever they can do and charge such money.
        Inspite of personal request none of them responded and considered the case.

          We have taken there preservation services in 2012 and crm no. And certificate was issued to us.

          Today i called the customer care no. To check with the status of my preservation & to update my contact details and upon giving the crm no. To customer care executive some different names and details were given to me every time i was giving my crm no. Which is matter of grave concern & very very serious issue which has to bee check upon now very deeply as how come same crm no. Is been given to multiple customers.

            My nephew's stem cell was preserved in March 2016. He was diagnosed with Thalassemia major in October 2016 and he requires a Bone Marrow Transplant. When we contacted Life Cell, they told us that the stem cell that they have preserved is also infected. Following are my complaints:

            Hi,
            My Name is Ashika Jain and my baby was born on[protected]. I had enrolled with Lifecell and they had collected sample and everything was done right. I got confirmation e-mail and all enrollment details. Now, after nearly a year when I called to check the storage status and other details, they do not have any record of my CRM number. I gave them my registered contact number and they still do not have it. I have been calling them and the customer care executive tells me that someone will contact me within 5 working days but I have not received any call or e-mail from them. I feel the need to withdraw from their services because I am not sure whether they have stored my baby's cord or not.

                Hi,
                I am writing this to make everyone aware of cheatings done my lifecell to customers if you are withdrawing our subscription.
                We opted to preserve the stem cells with the help of Lifecell international with CRM:[protected] and paid 12990.00 initially Later we decided not to go for it. Till here the process was good. We requested for cancellation and it took more than 2 months which is the standard time for cancellation and refund.
                After two months of follow up I received 7990/-. When I inquired for the balance 5000/- they say its cancellation policy which was not been informed initially at the time of subscribing /cancellation.
                Representatives from company tell me that they have sent me Agreement in which it is mentioned about cancellation policy. I have been sending multiple mails stating that I did not receive any agreement. As per my understanding agreement is valid only when it is accepted by both the parties involving in the agreement. I did not receive any agreement then how can they charge me 5000 for no reason. Argument with these people is waste of time as they do not know what an agreement is and when it is valid.
                I hope this information helps people understand how lifecell is helpful if you really fall in trouble.
                I am really lucky that I did not fall in to this trap by paying all the money. I don’t think they will help us if we really need their help later. They will just show some agreement instead of helping customers.

So we when delivery no such person are present in hospital from lifecell so missing the sample.                     After i facilated the collection for my sister in chennai (Crm :
                    [protected]. I went ahead and enrolled for my second kid in hyderabad (My crm number is[protected].

                    Both the times it was clearly mentioned by sales executive that the amount to be paid was 25k for 21 years storage.

                    In the agreement they have me a an amount mentioning annual storage of 5500. I sent an email date dec 27, 2015 at 9:09 am regarding clarifications and a customer care executive called me and confirmed again that i need not pay annual amount and required to pay only 25k for 21 years plan.

                    Now lifecell asks me to pay 30k for 21 years. After multiple emails and conversations they are so careless. I called the sales executive again and he confirmed 25k for new enrollment. I provided the call recording to customer care executive. Well, finally the statmeent given by them was. It was 25k for the first crm, it is 25k for new enrolment but i have to pay 30k for my enrollment.

                    They provided femme as a promotional offer and collected the sample. Now the customer care executive say, no details on records regarding femme collection. Shell shocked.

                    My advise to anyone thinking about lifecell. Its worst nightmare of my life. Strictly ignore this pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I will request all of you to kindly check if you are also victim to this situation. I am trying hard to get my case resolved but till not it is unsuccessfull .                         After Listening a lot I have opted your company for Stem Cell Preservation of my twin babies . I have two CRM No.s[protected] &[protected] but I have got only one discount code for Sensory Stimulation Kit. from your company.                           I am newly enrolled with lifecell.but after sometime i found that what the demonstration guy told, the bill statement was fully different.in the first mail on31st jan17, i got babyshield as complement and the hospital fees was 5500.but on 10thfeb i received another bill where they charged 3000for babyshield and the amount increased of rs3000 as babyshield was charged.i sent them mail and complained on11thfeb because at the enrollment time they told me that hospital charged 8500 and babyshield was complimentary..they give me token no on14th feb.bt they didnt response or sent me confirmation through email.i called many times to customer care but they cant told me when my problem will be solved.i request them after clearing my complain kindly deduct the EMI.Bt they told me that EMI will be deducted as usual.they didnot give me any type of confirmation through email or sms. I am totally blind what they are charging and what for not..i think lifecell's service is not as good as they demand.they told the customer a thing and after enrollment they show their own faces.they just need the money.nothing is matter to them.. now after this hole issu i doubt that they will not perform their job of preserving my stem cell properly.. it takes a mental breakdown to me..i lost my faith in lifecell...

                            We opted for onetime plan at the cost of Rs.45990/-.

                            i paid amount in 2 installments i.e.
                            1) 22990/- February' 2015
                            2) 23000/- April 2016

                            1) since my first installment payment of 22990/- rupees, Lifecell regularly called me on phone to make payment of 25000/- which is 2000 rupees extra of agreed value in agreement.

                            2) when i contacted lifecell branch head, he said as per agreed amount we have to pay only 23000/- as our final payment.

                            3) I gave him cheque of Rs. 23000/- which was transacted in april 2016 to Lifecell.

                            4) afterwards, Lifecell sent me official confirmation via mail of successful conversion to 21 Years Storage Plan.

                              I have opted Lifecell in the year of 2015. First They informed me the initial amount is Rs. 11, 999 for dual storage. Later at time of enrollment, They again changed the amount to pay some extra like Rs 3000 for hospital and Rs 3000 for Doctor. So I have end up paying Rs. 17999/- and their executive committed me that I have all right choose the plan like 1 year/ 21 year / Lifetime storage plan with 1 year of baby.

                              Even after paid Rs. 6000 for Hospital and Doctor, Lifecell have not done any kind of prior arrangement for sample collection. I have faced a lot issues to collect sample from hospital.

                              After 1 year, I have opted for Lifetime storage, Now according to their website, It is only 44, 000 But as I am exiting customer They are charging me Rs. 58000. When I discussed with customer care They are just Saying one thing "I have to pay Rs. 40, 000 ". When I ask for Escalation Email / Phone no. They are telling There is no Escalation Team and No Grievance Cell in Lifecell.

                              Now I am really worried for future support and trapped with them.

                              Final verdict: Don't go with Lifecell Brand value and Movie star Endorsement as That is only to attract and trap the customer for sales.

                                Have enrolled on baby shield and baby cord with the great belief on lifecell and even i referred to so many people about lifecell, but i cannot digest the poor service by lifecell due to which my enrollement on baby shield became no use.

                                1. I enrolled for baby shield on 4th of January 2016 immediately after received a call from life cell for asking to do so, since i believed that it takes care so much on our kid's future, In the call itself i asked shall i enroll for the same later after child birth, they said tat urine sample has to be collected within 48 - 72 hours for the best results. So without any second thoughts i enrolled for the same immediately.

                                2. Baby born on 13th of January, and baby cord was collected properly, and also i informed about urine sample to be collected, they guided me and i had collected the same on 16th January ( Monday) exactly before 72 hours as suggested by Lifecell for the best results

                                I informed Lifecell customer care for the pick up of the same on 18th, and they informed me that it will be collected on or before 19th of January... Even after continuous follow up, I was shocked to see that the sample urine was not yet collected and when i contacted the customer care regarding this, they ensured that the sample must reach them before 7 days, today being saturday, they told that they will try to pick it up if possible, ( but since it is sunday tomorrow, surely it will reach your office only on monday) i.e after a week, which is of no use.

                                I am really shocked to see the care you show on your customers, now when i call your customer care they are simply saying that the sample can be collected upto 6 months. ( Your website it self says for best results do collect the sample between 48 - 72 hours, )

                                  I have opted for lifecell for stem-cell preservation along with baby shield cover. I always have to remind their executive for providing me the kit. Even for collection, I have to call multiple times. To add to their ignorance, I have to arrange by calling multiple time for submitting my baby's urine sample (as a part of baby shield). Which has got no registration or has got no influence by their executive even after multiple reminders.

                                    My son was born on 16th October, 2013 in Mumbai. Lifecell's Mumbai team completely messed up the collection of samples. Someone was initially deputed to collect the sample, who did not bother to show up. At the last moment some alternate person was deputed after frantic calls and follow up from my side but she reached quite late. We were not very sure what samples she had collected. I tried to follow up with the Mumbai team after this but there was no response from them. I guess, once they got the money, they were not bothered much!

                                    I wanted to follow up further but then I received the initial report from Lifecell which said that "Maternal blood sample stored". So, I thought may be all is well and I need not worry. Thereafter I did not bother to check this with Lifecell due to the initial bitterness and also thinking everything was alright.

                                    I just happened to go through the old mails about 3 months back and suddenly realised that my son's preservation certificate mentioned only about the cord tissue! So, I got the agreement copies out and called up to understand the matter. Their technical representative Swathi told me that the cord blood was never stored!

                                    Now there is no explanation for:

                                    1. When I requested, agreed and paid for storage of both blood and tissue, why the non-storage of blood was not specifically intimated to me?

                                    2. When Lifecell didn't store blood then why didn't they refund the proportionate amount of money? Are they just taking chance that the customer doesn't ask and they keep it?

                                    We have anyway lost the opportunity to store the cord blood after falling for Lifecell's big promises! I hoped that at least now they will be honest enough to go through the facts and refund the money.

                                    It has already been 3 months since I started interacting with them for the refund. I have talked to their payment processing team as well and they had admitted that refund is due. They asked me to send my bank details for online transfer and I have provided it 2 months back. Since then more follow ups and still no word on the refund. Today also I tried to call someone called Mr.Karthikeyan, who is in charge of the payment team (as informed by Swathi) but he did not even pick up the call! How much can anyone follow up with everyone in the company for an admitted refund!! I guess, that's their policy! Now I'm also not sure if they actually preserve anything at all as they promise if their business practices are so corrupt!

                                    Swathi is supposed to get back to me within an hour of my last call to her and 1 hour is already over - as has been the case almost always! I'm fed up now and posting my grievance online and now I'm also going to file a complaint on Department of Consumer Affairs online portal.

                                    Please be aware of what you get into once you pay them the money.

                                    Finally, after a lot of follow up and sincere efforts of Mr. Ranjit Singh, one of the customer care executives of Lifecell, the matter got resolved on 25th Jan. I'm sure if there are no intentions on the part of the finance guys in the business to refund anything if not pushed by the customer care guys. Anyway, I have not received any details of the refund from them. Hoping to get the details from customer care again.
                                    My sincere thanks to Mr. Ranjit Singh, who promised me a refund and has kept his promise!
