Lifecell one of the worst service provider with fake commitments

Address: Gurgaon, Haryana

Lifecell is a fraudulent, conniving, criminal and deceitful company. Beware of all their ads. They just cheat innocent parents of their money. My lifecell order no. Is EM-3679 .After buying this plan their medical representive did not present at the time of delievery of my baby as a result cord blood has not been collected. When I asked them for refund they refunded me deducting Rs 5000/ from my paid amount as the fault is from their side....

Lifecell international claims themselves to be the no.1 stem cell bank in India showing face of big celebrities like Aishwarya Rai but they are biggest cheaters when comes to pricing and Payments, niether they have any technology nor the compant sticks to a single price when asked. They claim that stem cell banking is at 19990/- on TV ads. Thier website shows 19999/-(proof attached) Thier sales people asks for 50000/- To some clients they pitch 45000/- they claim thier technology is the best in the world, while world over biggest research labs and reasearch articles proof that thier technology is not fit for used and is banned in many countries. they are frauds!!

    Hi,

We just wanted to bring to your notice that on the day of my Delivery, 10th June the cord blood sample was collected after 45 minutes of delivery at Aditya Birla Hospital, Pune due to sheer negligence of Lifecell paramedic team.

We have been trying to reach Avinash, the paramedic who was supposed to be in hospital for sample collection since 7 pm in the evening before getting hospitalised, but there was no response. then we tried reaching Harsha, the alternate number provided to us and she in turn gave another number to be contacted, Ravi. Ravi said he would be there, once we reach hospital. But even after repeated calls made to Ravi and Harsha after reaching hospital from 10.30 PM onwards there was no response from them and no one picked the call till the delivery was done at 1.45 AM.

My doctor said, there was no point collecting the sample even after 10 minutes of delivery. Finally Harsha picked up the call after the delivery was done and reached hospital to collect the sample after 45 minutes of delivery.

We have few concerns we need an answer to-
    - Is this the service level that Lifecell provides to your clients? You cannot have your client calling and coordinating N number of people at the critical time of delivery, when you are already focused on something else.
    - Who from your team takes the ownership of the mistake and negligence that was committed that day?
    - What gurantee/assurance do you give that the sample collected after 1 hour of delivery was still good?
    - We regret to tell that we need our money back for the initial payment that we made after experiencing the negligence done on the part of lifecell, as your sales person herself told that the sample should be collected immediately after delivery and its very critical.

We would like you to take some stringent action against what has happened on 10th June for the people involved and also we would never recommend anyone else seeing the service level we experienced that day.

I am one of hundreds who have fallen for the "30 day free trial" advertisement. There is no fine print on the advertisement and no fine print included in the package I was sent. In the mail I received the free tube of Lifecell cream with a single page pamphlet stating how this product works, that it all. I then received a nasty surprise when I realised that Lifecell has taken out over $200 AUD from my account without notice or my authorisation, I did not receive an email to confirm this either. I believe this company is a scam and needs to be reported to consumer affairs.

I opted for stem cell preservation in this company. But sorry to say I m really dissapointed with the services after they have collected the stem cells. I opted for the mode of payment through emi ecs which was not accepted by my bank. For which I approached them to collect cheques. But soo busy people they are at agra that they dont have time to vome. I have called them 50 times for the same but they make fake promises and dont revert back. I am totally dissatisfied with the services of lifecell. This is really bad that the customer is calling every time but they dont have time. I just want them to collect the mode of payment through ecs or cheques whatever they want. My id is[protected]. I need a proper answer dats all I want.

Lifecell is a fraudulent, conniving, criminal and deceitful company. Beware of all their ads. They just cheat innocent parents of their money. Once you pay, they disappear and do not even bother to respond to any of your queries. My crm no. Is[protected] and i am a member since 2007. I deposited my elder son's stem cells and rs. 75000/-with them in 2007. In 2013, i tried to track my sample on the lifecell website and could not do so. I kept getting an invalid crm no. Message. On immediately contacting the head office in chennai (I am in mumbai), i was told that the website was being upgraded and hence old crm nos. Were showing as invalid. The problem would be rectified in a day. I tried again and the same error kept popping up. I mailed them, but no response. In dec 2013, i then put a post on the facebook page of the company, to which they responded saying that they were apologetic and would get back. It's now january 2014 and they have yet to respond!! To add insult to injury, they have now blocked me on their facebook page!!

If this is how they function, how do we contact them when we urgently need the stem cells??!! Have they lost our stem cells?! If they are genuinely honest, when will they contact me? I have updated my contact details in every communication with them and yet there is no response!

Lifecell is a company of cheats and criminals. It is sad to see a celebrity of aishwarya rai's calibre promoting lifecell.

              Hi,
I had my first kid's stem cells stored with crybobank in 2007 and uptil now they give regular update and my experience with them is cool.
For my second kid, I went with Lifecell inpite of getting better offer from Cryobank just because Lifecell had a desk at Clound Nine hospital (Bangalore) where my second kid was born and I have good trust with Cloud nine hospital.

I went for Cord blood and cord tissue package with Lifecell in November 2012. In Jan 2013 I got a letter from Lifecell stating that my baby's cord tissue was found to be contaminated. I asked them how did contamination occur, but never got a response till July/2013 from them untill I raised this issue with hospital and contacting lifecell desk there. Then I got a call from Dr. Chirayu of Lifecell who was explaining about their procedures about their lab. He also ruled out any mishandling from hospital as well as from Lifecell. Then I wrote email asking what is the reason for contamination for which he replied he is not the right person to answer. There is one guy called Vinay of Lifecell (responsible for southern region) whom I tried to contact but he never cared to give even a call back.

Overall my experience with Lifecell is disappointing and I am waiting for their response as how did cord tissue contamination occur?

Cloud nine doctors told that everything is fine from their end and now I suspect the problem is with Lifecell who uptil now did not clarify in email about why did contamination occur.

Can anyone suggest now what are the options left to me as a consumer? Is Lifecell legally bound and responsible for Cord tissue contamination?

              Thanks & Regards,
              R S Raj

                  Hey,

My wife is expecting and we have decided to bank the stem cells. However, we are confused between various banks which have presented to us like Lifecell and Cryobank. Pricing is more or less same. Am not able to decide on the technology available. Few things that I think are critical for this decision are:

                  a) Quality of the facility and location
                  b) Technology
                  c) Surity that sample will be processed and not misused
                  d) After sales service- particularly for collection, reports and god fordbid, for retrival
                  e) Agreeement quality without any hidden clauses which can result in false promises.

I intend to finalise in 7-10 days...it will be great if someone can help on this.

                  Regards,

                    Address: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh

Lifecell International Approached us through Swapna Healthcare.

Mr Kranthi from Lifecell Hyderabad visted us in September and offered various options. He told us that if the baby is born on 11/11/11, the entire processing fees would be waived off. We mentioned we would make the payment in October.

He visted us again on 28th of october 2011. To our utter surprise he said that 11/11/11 offer isnt valid anymore. We were shcoked and enquired with the Call Centre. The call centre supervisor informed us that 11/11/11 offer would have been valid had we enrolled in July. That was a twist enough and also bait enough to lure customers and keep them tied up to the company till the end.

                    Things to note:

Kranthi told us about the offer in September
Call Centre Supervisor said the offer was for July
No one told us that the offer would not be valid if I make the payment in October.

Moreover reading so many other complaints about non storage, no confirmation about storage, I am wary if I should go along with Lifecell. They look like liars and cheats. By the ay Mr Kranthi has gicven a new offfer to me which is valid this month only. Am I getting lured again.

If I am suspecting the intentions of the organisation now, how do I go for the Offer/False Offer.

Some one needs to take an action.

                    Regards,

                    Rakesh Jain

                      Dear sir,

my wife was pregnant and we were looking for cordblood banking serivce, we have decided to go for lifecell international, but later we decided not to opt service from lifecell due to improper service issues informed to me by my peers. however we have already filled the contrat form and ecs documents for installments, hence we informed life cell to cancel the contract, we have also received a call from their call centre regarding the payments but we informed that the serivce is not opted and they should not proceed with ecs installments. however they ignored the request and deducted Rs 6250/- from my back account. ive been requesting them for refund since 23rd august 2011, but they have not reverted to me yet. yesterday i recived a chq of Rs 1250/- only and they have deducted Rs 5000/- for unknown reason and no one is answering my calls too.

request you to kindly look into the matter as we have well informed the organisation for not opting the serivce but im charged Rs 6250/-

ive contacted Mr Deval at life cell surat branch.

This is very much unprofessional. how can you claim yourself No.1 in business when you cant even co ordinate within dept. first you take my money even though i did not opt for your service which was well informed in advance and now your are not even bothered to refund that amount to me. i understand that couple of days means 2 days.. 2 workings days to be precise in your corporate terms.. but now its been more than 10 days. Dear Sir, we have decide not to opt for lifecell international due to service issues. however before this decision we have submitted ECS form and chq. We had informed local executive Mr. Deval for collecting the kit from us and returning the forms and chqs but unfortunately it was missed out from his end. few days back i received a call from your call centre informing about the ECS dates, where i informed him that we have not preserved stemcell via lifecell and should not proceed with ECS instalments, surprisingly the request was ignored both by call centre person and Mr. Deval. request you to refund the deducted amount of Rs 6250/- immediately. snapshot of transaction is attached. Hi Mr Jeegar,

Your service is terminated and refund was processed on[protected] based on the terms and conditions mentioned in the agreement.

                      Regards,
                      Team LifeCell
                      I am Deval Vyas.

I do not agree with the complaint given here. Mr. Jeegar Baria had contacted lifecell in March 2011 via our call center. I was informed by the client that they had contacted us because one of their colleagues has suggested Lifecell.

After successful presentation and follow up, the client finally enrolled with lifecell in March. Upon enrollment we had issued the client, a bar coded kit box with necessary documents, terms and conditions.

However, later on, the client cancelled the contract with lifecell as he had negotiated a price of rs. 60000 with some other cord blood bank, payable in installment.

( I have a mail from the other bank giving committments which are not mentioned in the agreement.. The client had himself forwared the mail to me as a proof of lower price that other banks are willing to offer)

However we had explained that there is anomaly in agreement of the other bank when they are negotiating such cheap rates with them but the client was ok with this anomaly. The agreement of that bank clearly said that no extended services will be provided if the client takes discount. The client apparently had some mail communication that these services will still be given even if discounts were offered.

However this commitment from the other bank was still only on mail and there was no commitment on stamp paper. The stamp paper agreement clearly says that the client will not get any add on services in case he opts for any discount. That is an anomaly and not a legally good option to opt for especially when one is banking something so important as one’s baby stem cells. However, the final choice always rests with the client.

We at lifecell do not allow or promote such anomalies like saying one thing in agreement and giving completely different thing in mail. Hence we also do not offer such huge discounts on our services.

For these reasons the client’s agreement was terminated. As per the company’s policy Rs. 5000 is non refundable. So the company has recovered rs. 5000 and refunded back the remaining amount.

We had sent the cheque of rs. 1250 one month back in name of Mrs. Baria who is the primary client, but the client wanted the cheque to be in his name. So we again took the cheque back and issued the cheque in the client’s name. Hence there further delay in giving him his refund cheque.

I think it will be unfair to say that lifecell is not giving good services, where as even for client who has cancelled his contract we give special service of preparing cheques twice as per his requirement.

SO PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLIENT DID NOT CANCEL THE CONTRACT BECAUSE OF SERVICE ISSUE. THE CLIENT CANCELLED THE CONTRACT BECAUSE HE NEGOTIATED A CHEAPER VERSION (NOT NECESSARILY BETTER VERSION) WITH SOME OTHER BANK.

I got my baby's stem cells preserved with them in July 2010, but till date i have not recieved any documents or reports Even after...

We have taken lifecell package for preservation of cord blood/tissue for our son. Just after the money was paid the services of lifecell were found to be very poor. Till now, we have not been provided with legally signed contract for preservation of the cord blood and tissue. On calling the local sales person Mr. Abhishek, we get only excuses and now they are saying that their is no such contract !!.
We were promised 6 months validity of free Kaya Skin coupons, however the coupons were given with 2 months validity. Till date, replacement has not arrived.
The company claimed that we will get report on preservation within 45 days. After calling their customer care center many many times, till now no update.
We had given urine sample for "genetic disease testing". The report was supposed to come within 15 days. No report has come after 2 months.
All this after paying initial amount of 42,000/- Rs.

Every time we call their customer care center, they tell us they will call back with all the details, but they never call back. We really wonder what happened to our cord blood sample. Is it really preserved with such poor service.

I read your response to this and another complaint where CRM number was not mentioned. In other case you were so anxious to know the CRM number as if you would resolve the matter on an urgent basis.

Here when customer has written all details with CRM number, etc. so you have simply responded to contact center manager or head office. The customer has already mentioned that there is no proper response from Lifecell.

I am a prospective customer for lifecell and such complaints & poor customer service would definitely sway my decision

My sister gave birth to twin babies on february 2012 and we've registered with LIFECELL to store our female baby cord... After 2 months our baby got sick and unfortunately she is no-more after 15 days of treatment...

At that time I contacted LIFECELL people to check whether the baby cord can be useful or not. but I was given so many contact numbers and none was useful at that time... soon after few days she is dead...

I know that stem can be used for certain problems only but I wanted to check with their medical people but no one heard about the situation..

After a week we got a call from LIFECELL about our enquiry when there was no need of that. Wat a shame... Later that we were getting few calls regarding the payment for the baby who is not in this world...

I informed about the status and asked them to cancel the subscription but still we're being charged. I do know wat to say whether people are working in LIFECELL or automated machines??

They are concentrating on only on payment once subscribed... but not on the customer issues..

Is anyone there who works in LIFECELL pls understand the situation and cancel the subscription immediately...

Today now it is more than 18 months, i have not receive any contract. I called up below help line at lest 100 times but no response.

I complaint on life cell portal 2 time no response . Funny thing is i refer one of my friend then i got immediate call from life cell.

it means lot. I am guessing life cell is a fraud company and i request all my colleague / friend taken life cell service group together and raise a legal action against them

Finally i have selected Narayana Hrudayalaya for our baby's stem cell banking. They are cheaper, good technology, reliable name & great service. Best things is they are not behind money or target to achieve, they are for service.

Anyone interested to know more about it go through the link http://www.narayanahospitals.com/cellsofhope/.

They are genuine guys & they will tell you very clearly, why u mayn't need to store stemcell, but still if you want to do it, they will help you how to go ahead.

Great guys. Don't believe on these marketing gimmicks.

I was prospective customer for Lifecell after reviewing the horrible reviews and the fact their representative Prakash didnt do anything great to resolve customer problems even when CRM is provided and the treatment given to Manikandan. I am surely not going to opt for Lifecell, i was about to schedule Demo with Lifecell for Friday.

                        Hi Mr Mohan,
Request you to share your CRM no./contact details to check and resolve your query at the earliest.

@Julen - My wife's due date is 25th Aug, 2014. I contacted Life Cell, Cordlife and Cryo StemCell. All have great presentations and different unique way of saying things. But I went through the complaints, its painful and confusing for me to decide on this.

You shared that you selected Narayana Hrudayalaya for Stem cell banking. The website you shared is not working. I have also contacted you on Facebook. Request you to help me on this.
Lifecell customer care is really pathetic and I wonder if I can ever retrieve the sample they collected from me with all those tall claims. None of their customer care numbers work and the emails return a failure to deliver error every time. I called the guy who sold me their package and he said the login errors, customer care phones, etc. will start working within 1-2 days and 1+ month later status is still the same.

I am considering taking legal action on these frauds and their tall claims! Am not mentioning my CRM number here because when they aint responding to their own email ids and phones, its impossible they will respond to my complaint here.

TO ALL FUTURE PARENTS: THIS COMPANY IS A FRAUD!!! DONT EVER BUY THEIR PACKAGE AS YOU WILL NEVER EVER BE ABLE TO RETRIEVE YOUR SAMPLE WHEN NEEDED LET ALONE IN ANY URGENT SITUATION WHERE YOU WILL KEEP SEARCHING FOR THEIR WORKING CONTACT DETAILS EVERYWHERE TO NO AVAIL!

Hi everyone.. even myself was not satisfied with the service provided by the company..therefore i filed a consumer complaint and won the case and the company was ordered to pay me compensation with penalty amounting to more than one lac... so do file consumer complaints in the court and teach them a lesson..my email address is .[protected]@rediffmail.com
While going through the above comments, now decided to not to further continue with the Life cell.
I have already made half payment. How to recover the same?

                          Hi,

My CRM no[protected].I became a member of lifecell in June 2010 after making an initial payment of 5700.Iam yet to receive the welcome kit and contract papers till date despite calling their customer care numerous times.Everytime they say they will get back but never get back.I have spoken to one of their employees Ms Manjusha who sits in Mumbai several times but in vain. There is absolutely no response whatsoever and I seriously doubt if my sample is even preserved.Iam frustrated with my decision of opting for lifecell and dont recommend this organisation to any parent.

Iam hoping for some response from them atleast after posting this comment.

We were referred to the LifeCell benefits by our friend Ms Pallavi Ray - CRM No.[protected] and accordingly we got ourselves enrolled under the program vide agreement dated January 2009. At the time of entering into the agreement,we were informed by the Company's sales executive that the referrer (Ms Pallavi Ray - CRM No.[protected] would be entitiled to a referral bonus of Rs. 3,500/- however till date it has not been received from LifeCell (it's been more than one year now !) . Mr. Prakash,

I read your response to this and another complaint where CRM number was not mentioned. In other case you were so anxious to know the CRM number as if you would resolve the matter on an urgent basis.

Here when customer has written all details with CRM number, complaint mails, etc. so you have simply responded to contact center manager or head office. The customer has already mentioned that there is no proper response from Lifecell.

I am a prospective customer for lifecell and such complaints & poor customer service would definitely sway my decision
Note this number [protected] Lifecell exectutive director number call him and ask directly,
I understood from the all the issues customers are facing and the diplomatic answers from so call lifecell international's care taker, it is obvious that they don;t know ABC of customer service and are concerned only till the payments are received and no guarantee if the tissues are actually preserved or not.
They are stealing people contact information from help of wrong people at hospitals and frustrating them from frequent call and when one will pay to them no one will answer the call. The call my on the next day I visited the hospital for the first time, how well they have unofficial networked even with employees in reputed hospitals. I did my research and then I have asked them so many times not to call me as I have DND registered and I will complaint but they call so many times from different numbers. So unprofessional behaviour, and so many experiences people have faced here, it is easy for one to decide what to do? I

I had availed of the services of Lifecell International Pvt. Ltd. on 23 feb 07 for the harvesting & storage of the stem cells of my baby against an initial payment of rs.40000 and subsequent annual storage charges of rs.3500 to be paid every year. I had paid the annual charges for the last two years by DD but the company is still writing to me claiming non payment of the previous year. This is a trivial matter compared to the real isssue.
The company has now reduced the annual storage charges to rs 2000 but with a caveat. It is applicable for new customers only. We, the older customers are being forced to pay at the old rates to use the same service that is being now being offered at almost half the rates and being justified under the cover of a contract that had been signed by us at that time.In place of rewarding us for being old and loyal customers of the concern they seem to be penalising us for the same.
It is notable that the storage costs of the company have also now significantly reduced due to an increase in the number of its customers and shall further decrease in future as the customer base increases further, because the establishments costs remain the same.

DOES THIS NOT AMOUNT TO EXTORTION?? pls advice on steps to follow.

                                Hello,

This is with regards to post collection customer service by Lifecell International, and pertains to a really simple issue that Lifecell employees could have easily resolved had they been a little bit diligent. Per contract, the sales representative mentioned that Lifecell would collect the blood sample at the time of delivery, send the blood and tissue sample to Chennai for processing and preservation, and provide a blood and tissue preservation certificate within 45 days to confirm that the sample was in order. Though the sample was collected on time and a tissue preservation certificate (stating only that the tissue was received) provided, the blood sample certificate never came within the 45 day window. Every time we followed up with Lifecell customer service, we were given the same answer "We will raise the issue with the concerned person who will give you a call back in 15 minutes". The call never came. All subsequent follow ups were in vain. We are yet to receive the report even though it's been more than 2 months now. It makes us wonder if they ever tested the sample and produced the reports in the first place.

                                Regards,
                                Concerned Parents

                                Hello sir,
This is Regarding your complaint which you have raised. I would like to know whether your issue is resolved? I am soon to be a dad and I wanted to preserve my baby's stem cells through LifeCell. But your issue raises concern. Kindly let me know what was the action taken. Thank You.
Concerned soon to be " DAD"... :O
                                Dear Prakash7589,

I recently got a presentation from LifeCell and am actively looking for a good company for StemCell storage. I have seen various complaints about LifeCell and in most of them I have seen your comment asking for CRM and contact number of the aggrieved. I just wish to know what will you exactly do if you get the CRM and contact numbers of these people? Will you call them and resolve their issues? I am asking this because in one complaint (http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/lifecell-international-c356916.html... I found that the customer has even given the required details and you have just told her to contact the customer care of LifeCell?

I hope that you understand that so many negative feedbacks from customers, competitors, and own employees(yes, many of LifeCell's employees are also complaining about not getting their EPFs and all) is definitely not an attraction for prospective customers like me.

                                  Hi,

Kindly ensure scheme & EMI payment structure before you save your babycord duo with lifecell (i.e. lifecell international).
Make ensure to those people, to afford to switch you to plans (i.e. to reduce price or upgrade to new scheme).

What i want to people who go with lifecell is: kindly ensure the payment/scheme which would be adapt to new one they introduce.

Because, how i affect by it, follows.

i'm joined in the plan " SUPER SIMPLE PLAN (One-time 24 EMI) " for "BabyCord Duo". Enrolled on Aug'09.

Now lifecellinternational reduce on pricing. ref. lifecellinternational official site for new plans. As per new plan cost given below (on date:[protected]:
                                  BabyCord Duo : Rs.3000 for 24 months.
                                  BabyCord Duo 50 M : Rs.5,000 for 24 months
So, initially i request customer-care/account-dept. to confirm me on which plan now i'm in. They reply back as i'am in "BabyCord Duo" Rs.5,000.00 for 24 months.

Again i request them to change me to BabyCord Duo 50 M (because i paid Rs.5000.00 for 24 months) or change ECS payment Rs.3000 for 24 months (i.e., BabyCord Duo). EMI Plans in website.

But, they refuse my request, and said i'm only continue with
"BabyCord Duo" :"Rs.5,000 for 24 months".

I raised my queries: They are:
                                  1) Why should i pay the amount of BabyCord Duo 50M for BabyCord
                                  Or
                                  2) Why not you reduce my ECS amount to Rs.3000

Also, they have poor customer service (even if you raise query for the payment details it took 2 weeks, this also you keep on touch with them).

So, make ensure to those people, to afford to switch you to plans (i.e. to reduce price or upgrade to new scheme).

                                  Make you aware by

I am sorry but I do not agree that LifeCell has a bad customer service. We banked my new born niece's cord blood with LifeCell and they were very cooperative, prompt and helpful. They explained everything about stem cells and easily guided through the procedure. Very prompt and professional in their dealings, I definitely recommend LifeCell to all.

                                  Cheers.

Well I agree with Karthik, if plans do change then it’s not fair to him since he has just registered less than a year ago.
It’s not about banking and making money, it’s about safe storage so why keep changing the amount.
And well with regards to customer service it isn’t that good, the way it was presented to be.
Still needs to be more prompt and efficient! The laid back attitude that they posses is not good.
LifeCell customer care is good, but the doctor in moodbidre is pathetic she didnt even collect the cord tissue!!! Be careful and educate your doctors well ahead of delivery
Please mention your CRM number along with your complaint
                                  Hi,

It is same case with me.
I joined in the plan " SUPER SIMPLE PLAN (One-time 24 EMI) " for "BabyCord Duo". Enrolled on Sep'09.

As per this new plans I was confirmed that I am on "BabyCord Duo : Rs.3000 for 24 months" My regular EMI is getting deducted and I have the bank statement.

But to my surprise from past few months I am getting a regular call to pay annual fee, In fact on the same day auto debit of Rs3000 got deducted to Lifecell and payment dept does not have any history. This incident made me to alert and to talk with Lifecell and to my second surprise, I was told I am on plan "BabyCord" not "BabyCord Duo". After my request call was forwarded to next level and they confirmed me that I am on plan "Baby cord Duo". Will keep you updated what next?
have your name and id or u are fake person?
The service of Lifecell customer support is really poor. I have been calling lifecell to collect the EMI payment but there is no one to collect the payment despite getting committment that we will send someone to collect the payment. I am from Delhi and I regret to have chosen Lifecell. If this is the quality of service in regard to collecting payment, I wonder what will happen if we need the sample.
                                  Regards,

cordlife is also no different, thir customer service sucks...seems every bank is now on a money making spree, they all plan to do business for max 10 yrs and flee with all our monies...the concept of private cord blood banking itself is not acceptable by so many doctors, they are cheating ppl day in and day out and making fool o[censored]s.
I have applied for cord blood storage and paid initial payment of Rs 16250/-. I have intimated customer care before admitting my wife to hospital. They newer called me about the status after admitting. I called the persons of lifecell, vizag but not responded positivity. Due to the delay of lifecell persons cord blood could not be collected. They assured me about money refund with in 15 days. 4 weeks has passed but they didnot refund and no response from their end and they sent the EMI cheque for clearance but since I have STOPPED all the EMI cheques it was unable to clear for payment. When asked about this to the customer care every time they say that they shall revert back. Had it been I have not stopped the cheques they would have taken the money.

hi, i dont know about service after registration with Life cell but I think nowadays there not even bothered about new customers. I called customer care atleast twice and both the times they fixed the time for presentation / home visit and they never turned up and not called up for change of timing for visit. I think they have earned enough. this is in bangalore. I dont know about other places. I think some thing good happened and I could understand them before I register with them. Thank you customer care for your valuable support
