This is Tanusmita Ghoshal.
I had placed an order on LimeRoad - order no. [protected]S1 on 16th October 2014.
This was a buy one get one free offer for which I paid Rs 1400.
Only one of the items was delivered on 27th Oct and a mail was sent on 29th Oct confirming the dispatch of 2nd item.
After 12 days, I contacted the customer service and they informed me the item was "lost in transit".
Firstly, they sent no communication on the lost product, they kept sitting on it for 12 days.
Secondly, they refused to send out the product again, even though it was a prepaid order and they order was lost due to negligence at their end.
They only agreed to refund, that to partial of the amount paid by me, and that too after speak to multiple people in the hierarchy.
This is the second time an order I placed has lost in transit. And earlier too the website did not take any initiative to contact or inform about the loss.
Please look into the matter, their facebook page has many such disgruntled customers who are venting out on facing similar issues. Looks like the website is cheating people.
