The flat is generally not occupied, because, we stay there occasionally when we come to pune. On 30th september 2019, when i went to the house, i found there was no power in my flat. When i checked at incoming supply, a wire was found to be disconnected. I got the wire connected from an electrician, because, it was not a sealed connection.
Next day morning (1st october) i went to pay the bill, which was rs.2200/-. I deposited rs.3000/- at @10 am & obtained receipt.
When i came back home in the evening, again i found the power was off, when i asked to check, i found my energy meter was not in place. When i checked with security guard, i was informed, that, meter was removed by msedcl at about 12.30 pm.
I do not understand, how & why msedcl should remove the meter after the bill was paid. There is no notice given. Next day when i went to enquire, i was told, 2nd october being holiday, nothing can be done.
I do agree that bill was overdue till 30th september, but, when the bill was paid, why was the disconnection needed. The payment receipt enclosed.
I urge to reinstall the meter.
