I would like inform about engine fault which we noticed at 2 year from purchase date and showed that to mahindra service centre they managed eliminate the engine noise in but again this came back. Now this there is solid engine light glowing all the time on car. The car is not even 3 years old also driven very less. Need to be sorted as there is engine fault noticed from earlier stage.

    I got a call from the unknown number and they are telling to pay the form fees of the company they are telling when we questioned something they are scolding me or they are give me warning that i will block your account you will not get job for 3years and all. And they are giving only 20 minutes to pay the form fees atleast we need some time to think about it.

      I am a practicing doctor in patiala and a sad owner of xuv 500 w-10 bought in june 2015. I was a fan of xuv-500 till now and must have recommended at least 10 friends and family members to buy the same. But recently something happened that changed my entire view about the car and the company mahindra.
      I planned to make a road trip from patiala to goa on this new years eve. We were supposed to leave patiala on 31st dec and reach goa by 3rd jan visiting various places on the way. The vehicle was quite fine, however around 20th dec, it showed the yellow “check engine” light off and on. So i went to the local dealership who inspected the vehicle and replaced the vacuum modulator under warranty. However the light did not go off after they replaced the vacuum modulator and it took them another 2 hours to solve the issue. At last they handed over the vehicle to me saying that everything is ok.
      I have been using xuv for the last 7 years and this is my 2nd xuv. I was not satisfied with the performance as the engine was showing loss of power on highway driving. I again approached the patiala dealership but they could not find any error and told me it’s just my phobia nothing else. I believed them and started my journey towards goa on 31st dec 2017.
      However the engine seemed to be compromised throughout the journey which i had to ignore as per my local dealership’s advice.
      We reached goa on 3rd jan 2018 evening. We were supposed to stay there for 4 nights and check out on 7th jan. We had another friends couple along with my father in law and 3 children. I was quite enthusiastic as i love to drive. We planned to visit various sightseeing spots in the days to follow in our ever favorite xuv.
      However when i started the car very next morning i. E on 4th of jan, there was a loud sound as if the tyre had busted and the car came to a halt. I got down and checked that all tyres were fine. I tried to restart the engine but it won’t take the self. After trying for a couple of times, i thought better call the experts. I called on the helpline number who after a very lukewarm response put me across the local muktar automobiles expert team. The service advisor told me that they will charge 1500/- rupees just to visit the vehicle and it does not ensure that they can solve the problem or not. The other option was to get the vehicle towed to their dealership where they can inspect the vehicle completely. I thought, since the days were limited, it was better to save time and i asked my family to wait while i arranged to get the vehicle towed to the dealership by paying 2500/- rupees. I reached there around 11 am. And after making repeated requests to the service managers there they ultimately attended me. They kept on making vague guesses about the problem and when around 1 hour had gone, they decided to keep the vehicle and issued me a vehicle receipt mentioning that require minimum 2 days to get the vehicle back to shape. They gave the date of delivery as 7th jan, however verbally they told me that it should be ready by 6th jan evening itself. I could see my entire trip getting ruined.
      I went back to my hotel in a local bus as there was no dropping facility available. I requested the company to at least arrange for an alternate vehicle, but even after making repeated requests, they said that the best they can do is arrange for a maruti swift. Finding no alternative, i had to hire a 7 seater rental vehicle @ 3500/- per day as it was high season and there was a shortage of vehicles. We had to miss many tourist attractions like dudhsagar falls as the rental vehicle was given for local use only. Anyhow, we managed to carry on with our trip with a heavy heart and waited for 7th jan for our xuv to return.
      But to my utmost surprise, i received a call from company expert on 7th jan around 12 pm saying that they have not been able to find the error! And asked me to wait for another day. I had to make emergency arrangement for stay for all the people along with transportation. I got an sms from company saying that my vehicle shall be delivered on 8th jan around 4 p. M. We checked out of hotel next day i. E on 8th jan, and when i asked about the status, only reply that i got was that there was something wrong with the engine and they are still trying to figure out the problem. It may require another day or two. This was so much disgusting. We were supposed to reach patiala on 12th jan for an important family function (Lohri function of my niece).
      I got in touch with senior management of the company and mr. Swapnil the area manager said that he was personally monitoring the situation and it should not take long. I trusted the company and waited for another day. However on 9th jan, i made around 6 calls to the service manager rahul k, and also to area manager and when they responded by afternoon, all they could say is that they are trying their best.
      I had no choice. We all were being held hostage without any fault of ours. Finally on 10th jan, mr. Swapnil informed that there is a huge list of parts that have to be replaced and he is arranging for them. I could not afford to extend my stay that long as i was supposed to reach patiala on 12th by all means and we had small children with us who had to attend school on 13th. I tried to search for air tickets but the best option that we could get was on the morning of 12th jan. We had to purchase 7 tickets on premium price. We had to make arrangements for stay and transportation till 12th jan meaning that an extra expenditure of 5 days starting from 7th jan, not to mention the amount of harassment that we all had to face.
      Finally on 11th jan, i received the vehicle at 6.30 p. M. I had to ask my father in law (A retired senior citizen) to get the car back as it would take 4 more days to reach patiala and we all could not afford to travel by road for obvious reasons.
      On 12th jan, we all left by air with a heavy heart and a ruined trip.
      But the ordeal did not end even here. My father in law started from goa at 8 am and within an hour, the same problem of loss of pick-up started to appear again. Our phones were switched off as we were in flight and he somehow managed to get in touch with area manager again and was asked to take the vehicle to kohlapur service centre. They have done some patch-work, which i am still apprehensive may not last long.
      Now the question is that… will mahindra have the guts to take the responsibility of the entire blunder? Will mahindra have to guts to compensate for the entire financial loss that i had to suffer? (Not to mention the emotional ordeal).
      The only option left with me is to approach the consumer court and let’s hope the justice prevails!
      In the end i would like to request all readers, not to trust indian companies and prefer established brands. And do take a feedback from existing customers before making any decision.

        Respected sir/madam, this is thangadurai.. My vechicle no is tn54e0029.. I had fully engine work at namakkal mahindra showroom august 2017.. They charged rs.70000/- and assured 6 months warranty.. After few days engine oils was leaked, and they applied also terakota.. 2 nd time (10.10.17) i left my car to the same showroom due to engine oil leakage but they didn't anything, they used my car about 98 km & about rs.1500 worth diesel. 3rd time i left again my car to the same showroom due to same problem on 25.12.17 they did just water wash and delivered my car.. 4th time i left again my car to the same showroom due to same problem on 8.1.2018. They said that some rod was brokened & we did welding work and hereafter engine oil won't be leak like that and charged rs.1900/-.. But still now they didn't solved the problem & oil leaking in two places..in between this time i checked my car in laxmi auto mobiles, salem their said clearly where it problem there, where it oil leaking and they advised who are did engine work their only leave your car and claim bill within the period of warranty and give top priority to this problem like that.. From my home to namakkal showroom distance is up and down 70 km... So what i am requesting they are collecting more money for small work and why they are not satisfying a customer.. I wanted complete cure my car problem and guide me which showroom is good.. And how to recover my wasted the time, disel, money from the wastest, poor namakkal mahindra showroom??? I am attached herewith that poor service photo also.. So kindly i request that solve my problem.. Thanking you..

          My loan had been sanctioned, emi's have started.. Till not got the vehicle.. Ac2ually i exchanged my old maruti vehicle with the dealer supreme motors, and i have booked the kuv from that dealer, i have closed my existing car loan, i had forwarded them the receipt copy of forceclosure, till thy are harrasing me saying rupees ten thousand (10000) to be submitted as security deposit, after submitting of noc, they will return me the money.. Before closing the existing loan, the sales person told me that by giving the forceclosure receipt, you can take ur new vehicle i. E. Kuv on the very next day.. And after my submission of forcleclosure receipt, they are saying, you have to keep 10000 rupees as security deposit.. Mahindra its my req, plz look into this matter as i am having various types of prblms while purchasing ur brand's vehicle. Car booked in favour of mousumi saren..

            In the month of november 2017, i have given my vehicle for 1lakh service, at pioneer mahindra showroom in guntur, mangalagiri road. Since then my vehicle (Ap 07 bu 8188) was showing check engine light symbol, for which i have visited same showroom multiple times, every time they are charging money. Even yesterday[protected] i have visited the showroom and today the same problem was repeated. I have spent more than 20, 000rps since past three months for service and maintenance of my vehicle at mahindra showroom in guntur. Please look at this issue and do needful.

                  I have purchased a mahindra pick up in november 2017 bearing engine no. 4j75819 & chassis no. H2j60963. My vehicle is having problems since purchase and no body bothered about it.                     I have xylo vehicle, reg. No. Mh43ab7397 having problem of fuel leaking only time of refiling since 4 months and also coolent hose expanded resulting into coolent leakage.

                    Your service centre g3 at nerul, navi mumbai fails to order the spares for above mentioned problem.

                    I personally feel that never go for mahindra vehicles due to very very poor service.

                      My car was breack down. Nexgen showroom took two days to jst clear the problem. Even after two days of inspection they did nothing and handed over the car to me. I returned home and just near my house the car again broke down. How can you be such a irresponsible. You are just making us fool. I have been using mahindra cars from past ten years and i have not faced such a foolish service. If i will not get any answer i will lodge complain at police even at court.

                        Dear sir,

                        It is very sorry to say that it is the fact that the customers are always looking for a better vehicle for their family and always counting the same as a family member. Likewise during the year 2011-12, i also attracted in your advertisements of mahindra xuv 500 wherein you compared with a tiger and booked a vehicle at mumbai as the same was only available in mumbai. Later on due to non-availability of registration process outside the mumbai, i cancelled my booking after deposing an amount of rs.5000/-. During the year 2014, my friend was spared a vehicle to me due to illness of his wife and accordingly my wish was materialized and registered the vehicle in my wife name smt. Beena sajimon (Vehicle no. Dn-09-h-2152). While using the vehicle, i have always maintained the vehicle with timely servicing according to the opinion of your agency samrat cars, vapi, valsad dist. (Gujarat). During the year 2016 it was noticed in the vehicle that all the doors are resting day by day and i complained with agency and claimed that it is a manufacturing defect and it required replacement of all doors and they refused to do so. After frequent follow up, they agreed to replace the doors with 50/50 sharing basis and ultimately i agreed to pay 50% and change to doors. Sir, it is very shameful to your firm which is in the front line of the indian vehicle market.

                        Sir, fortunately myself, my wife, my brother and sister in law alive today and writing these lines to your sympathetic consideration because i totally confused and fed-up with my vehicle mahindra xuv 500 and also i am not in a position to drive the said vehicle again after occurrence of the yesterday's incident, which happened at about 11.00 p. M., a brief history is as under :

                        Yesterday in the evening, we proceeded to daman (35 kms from our home town silvassa) for attending a marriage ceremony. While returning from daman at about 11.00 p. M., the vehicle was driving by me and suddenly the steering of the vehicle got playing and there were no contact with the vehicle or wheels. Fortunately there was no vehicle infront o[censored]s and i could apply the break suddenly and the vehicle touched in a post of the signboard. Today the vehicle has taken from the spot by your agency samrat cars, vapi, for further investigation. My vehicle has covered only near about 75000 kms.

                        Ir, it is our luck or our kids' luck today we are all alive. Sir, after spending an amount 14-15 lacs for a better vehicle with all safety measures, such type of incidents are not expecting the customers and therefore, your goodself should intervene in the matter which will eliminate such type of horrible manufacturing defects in the vehicle in future.

                        Under the circumstances, since i am not in a position to drive the same vehicle more because of fear, your goodself is requested to kindly intervene in the matter and take a lenient view to spare another vehicle for my use.

                          L have brought an alfa comfy from mahindra's show room, muvattupuzha, ernakulam dist, kerala state. Your service is very poor and l never suggest your organisation to any one else. Your sales man is not deliver me the vehicle on time. I have got the vehicle without bill.7 times l have called for your show room for the bill. Still now l haven't got it. No number plate with the vehicle. Back seat dont have the lock. Once l booked the vehicle mahindra finance is been started. They delivered me the vehicle after 15 days of booking date. I have never ever found a dealer like this. Very bad and poor service.

                            Just got news that xuv 500 has got new black interior. After getting to the showroom got to know that black color interior only comes in silver and brown color. I want xuv 500 white color with black interior. So how i am supposed to get? Why did you only gave this option in 2 colors. What about other colors. Really disappoint after knowing this. If someone wants black interior in white color xuv then what we will do. Get it paint? Please give black interior option in every color. 0

                              I, own a mahindra kuv 100 nxt high end model. I feel highly dissatisfied with the quality standards at the service center in vijayawada location. I am disgusted and irritated by the service center staff and their customer orientation. Above all, they dont even follow the standards of a car service. Whenever i send my card for a service, they never wash it and ask for extra charge for washing the car. Apart from that they dont attend to customer complaints and never revert back with a suitable solution. Minor repairs and other issues are never a concern for the service staff.in this regard we would like to say we would never recommend mahindra brand cars to anyone ever and wish to sell of the vehicle soon and shift to a service providing brand.

                                I had purchased mahindra alpha auto on 9th may 2016 and till now i have not received registration number for the vehicle. Upon chasing the general manager of city narsinghpur also, they are not listening and the behaviour of the manager is worst. I am facing a lot of problems with the vehicle and people in the showroom are not listening the complaint.
                                Before going to the consumer forum i want to log a complaint over here. Do resolve this problem as soon as possible otherwise i will raise it against consumer forum.

                                As I am chasing you since from a long time, and I am not getting proper response neither from complaint cell nor from the Narsinghpur general manager. I am requesting you to take your vehicle back and refund my whole money along with the loss and penalties i had given to police due to not having the vehicle number/ registration. This is the last time I am writing this email to you and if the action would not taken as soon as possible I will raise it in consumer forum against Mahindra. 

                                The Narsinghpur general manager is also not accepting my application to take vehicle back. I want to take this on priority otherwise I will take to the consumer forum as I am not getting proper response and solution from Mahindra. As a feedback I would like to tell you that your consumer feedback service well known as "Mahindra with you" is worst as that won't be responsive and didn't have the solution for their customer. 

                                I will also share the same concern/ complaint over the social media to highlight the careless Attitude of Mahindra people as they didn't care about their customer service.

                                I am going to submit a notice this time from Consumer Forum against Mahindra and other higher authorities as i am not getting proper solution.

                                This is totally unsatisfactory and worst provider i have dealt till now. Kindly close your complaint cell as this is only for name sake and nobody bother to look into the customer complaints. I will never suggest anyone to go with Mahindra as i am dealing a lot of problems with no solutions.

                                  I have been to gsp motors on 25-dec-17 in regards to tuv 300. The discounts were not quoted correctly by the executive and later the figure of the car was also not correctly mentioned.
                                  When pin pointed the mistake they offered mr 5k discount to settle the deal. Later on the date of delivery i was asked to pay 10k extra as they have not quoted the correct loan figure and no one is there to help.

                                  Everyone is blaming and passing the baggage to one another.

                                  This is a shame on mahindra's face. Never expected this from such great organisation.

                                    I am p suresha herle from bengaluru. I have purchased a xuv 500 vehicle in the month of aug 2017 from sireesh auto (Pvt) ltd, bengaluru (Reg no.: ka50z0037, chasis no.: h6g14703, cust code: c[protected]. Till now the vehicle has run for around 10000 km and completed 3 services. During this time, i have observed lot of smell from the engine side and the service person told me that it is because of clutch plate rubbing and it will come for some time. Last week during driving, i have witnessed clutch plate disengagement. Immediately i have driven it to mahindra service station in mysore and they told there is a problem with the clutch plate. Then i have given the vehicle for 3rd service (10000 km) and they found that both clutch plate and fly wheel got damaged. They have replaced it with a cost of rs. 40000/-. I asked them it is only 10000 km run and how clutch plate can get damaged. The service person told that it is depending on the style of driving. I have got 2-3 questions here.

                                    1) for last 25 years i am driving with different vehicles for almost 3, 00, 000 km and not found any of the vehicle driven so far (Fiat, maruthi omni, hyundai santro, hyundai verna, honda city, volkswagen vento) is having this problem. The last vehicle was volkswagen vento, i have driven for 1, 30, 000 km and the clutch plate was in tact when i sold the vehicle.

                                    2) in mysore service station also i found 2 people came with the same problem of clutch plate that too with 7000 km running only.

                                    3) whether this is a perennial problem with this type of vehicle.

                                    - definitely mahindra can not blame driving style for this type of problems as i am an experienced driver with 25 years of driving experience and with more than 3, 00, 000 km driving experience with different vehicle.

                                    - i can not afford to spend rs. 40, 000 for every 10, 000 km driving.

                                    - request mahindra to look in to the design aspect of the clutch plate to find out if there any abnormality in the design.

                                    - also request mahindra to return back my bill amount.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      We have purchased your kuv k7 100 (Gj 3 jc 5787) car by seaing its strength and rough road performance in television add but we think that it is complete fraud and fake performance ad because before few days ago my car just broken down on very smooth highway, & mahindra service person inform me that its issue of failure for clutch and gear parts.

                                      Even if its very important parts & i am full of with my family and suddenly its happen in driving mode on highway. Its ridiculous and very dangerous situation.

                                      After repairing it we have also paid very large amount, even if its very very important part, company does not include this in warranty. We are really feel bad.

                                      Its issue of cheap quality part fit in kuv k7 car, we are really feel very bad for mahindra about this issue and feel like its totally fraud presentation in mahindra kuv ads in media.

                                      Here with attached our complaint letter we have issue to dealer from we got our repaired car.

                                      We are expecting a revert for this issue arise from authorized person.

                                        Hi, my name is vinod karuvat. I own a petrol mahindra logan. It has run 67000kms.in the last 1 year the timing got ripped once and the accesories belt 3 times. Then after servicing the clutch went bad. I am writing this message to basically apologise to mahindra. I am being punished for putting faith in an indian product. I grew up very close to mahindra mahindra colony mumbai and have some good memories. But i am feeling cheated and i am sure that i will not touch a mahindra product. My sincere apologies for trusting you.
