I have purchased mahendra quanto c6 in march 2013 and gets regular service at mahedra service centres at chennai.
While driving my vehicle from kanniyakumari to chennai, at trichy abs indications appeared in my dash board and i took the vehicle at trichy mahindra service centre on 16th july 2017. They checked and informed that the sensors are to be checked and there is no spare available at trichy. I told that i will check up the abs issue at chennai, as i can't wait for spares to come.
I took the vehicle at chennai kerugambakkam service centre and they checked and informed that the sensors are ok but the abs unit is faulty and to be replaced. The cost of the unit is around 35, 000/-. I am shocked to hear that the cost is around thirty five thousand rupees and they also told that such failures not occurred earlier.
I strongly feel that this a premature failure of components and taken up the matter with mahindra and mahindra, but there is no response at all.
I request to help to solve the issue.

Reminder since no response from mahindra/ TVS chennai.

    Hi,

    I own a mahindra xuv500 and the car is only 3 years old. I have driven almost 54.5k. From the very beginning the car had some niggle or the other and evn though the car has been serviced on a regular basis it continues to throw up issues which i feel are merely due to lapse in quality checks.

    On top multiple brake pad changes, during my 50k service 2 months back the service station suggested that the brake discs should be changed and i went ahead and did so. Inside two months i am again facing issue with the break. I met with an accident last evening when my brakes did not respond and i banged into a car in front of me. I was lucky that the speed of the vehicle was not very high otherwise it could have been a very serious accident.

    Today in the morning i checked for any malfunction notification but there was none. Then i checked the brakes and they are just not responding. Upon pushing the brake paddle, it goes all the way. Even the hand brakes are not working. I have also tried to call my relationship manager but he was only offering to help with 24 hour delay. Finally i had to call mahindra rsa and they are charging rs 2, 200 just to two the vehicle because i have not subscribed for the warranty.

    My desired resolution is a thorough check up of the car and identify all the issues that might create a problem in future. I understand that there could be unforeseen events where the car may breakdown but i just want to avoid paying for new parts often and then face issues with the same functionality of the car.

    I also want to raise a serious complaint against the service station sree automotive kolkata for negligence on quality assurance.

      04/09/2017 i just went to purchase xuv w10 model it took 2 days time and i was exchanging my ford endeavour against the xuv, it took 8-9 hours for the staff to finalize the cost of xuv, resale value of endeavour and the general manager is so least bother about his job and don't have any etiquette to great the customer very dull personality you should change your staff and dealer as it will going to affect the such a big brand name. No air conditioning facilities, no water and nothing offered for refreshment and very dull performance by staff least interested in selling the cars. And finally i drop the plan to buy xuv just because of the irresponsible behavior of the staff. It's a great loss for the company kindly redress the complaint and better training program should be given to the staff to treat the customer.

        I took my car for service on saturday 2nd september 2017, following sunday 3rd september i have received a call from my service station that “ there is only water in the radiator/cooling system and no coolant in the system, would you like to change it sir?”.
        Which shocked me since as my past experience in design of diesel systems, i very well know that this would lead premature failure of coolant pump (Wear of mechanical seal) and pitting of cylinder liners and worst cases may clog coolant jacket in the head and may lead to head gasket failure. And secondly i was very sure that there was coolant in system since i have a practice of checking all the fluid levels of all my 3 cars every month. I remember seeing coolant in the radiator during my usual monthly check.

        So i asked them if the coolant is diluted?

        I have been replied that “ no, there is no coolant there is only clean clear water in the system “

        So now i was even more shocked to hear this …. I asked if i could see it?
        They said sunday we are closed you won’t be allowed into the workshop.

        I insisted that i am coming immediately since they are working i would like to inspect!

        I took my other car immediately and went to inspect in the work shop. I went to my car standing in the garage i myself opened the bonnet when the supervisors came to the scene. I myself opened the radiator and found clean clear water in the system and in the reservoir. I was astonished and shocked.

        I explained that there is no possibility of this to happen since i know there was coolant in the system.

        The supervisor says that you might have topped up with water finding low water levels on the radiator.

        1) if so and only “if” i did that (I am not illiterate to pour tap water with salt content into ethylene glycol coolant)…, then what we found in radiator will be a mixture of coolant and water contradicting to observation of clear water.
        2) i am a mechanical engineer in design field of engine components and experience in cooling systems. I am not dumb to top with tap water and even if i had been a lay man (Which i am not) i would not have added tap water since coolant is colored and anyone will know that tap water is not matching with whatever is in there.

        So i dint buy this explanation … and asked them to explain my above doubts then they go into silence.


        Now i got really furious and got into diagnosis and told them that the engine has not been heated and so the thermostat valve would not have been opened and there might be presence of coolant in the heating coil of hvac unit and engine water jacket…if the coolant has been drained only from the radiator and reserve tank to be filled with water.

        Now the service team of 4 to 5 guys surrounding me and my car got into senses and said we will discuss with our manager.
        They called the manager through phone since he was not available at the premises when work was going on! And told that after seeing it only he will be able to resolve this issue so he makes me come the next morning 4th september 2017 and again i had to ask him all the questions that is testing my intelligence on the concept of radiator coolant becoming clear water!!!

        He asks me to wait in the customer room and after some time he calls me to his office and tells me that we will bear 50% of the coolant cost and remaining by me ….

        All my fate of giving my beloved car to a bunch of cheaters!!! “ i had to accept this since i won’t even start my engine with tap water!!!

        And again the same evening the service center calls me and says the coolant required to fill the radiator will be 8 liters and you will bear for 4 liters …..

        I was in doubt about the radiator volume… so i know all fluid volume is available in my owner’s manual, i found it to be 5 liters in the manual….!!

        I want to ensure this so i have sent the forwarded mail for the customer care reference.

        After all this i wonder what if i was really a lay man or a guy from some other profession!!!

        This incident has lacerated the trust and belief i had in mahindra!!!

Earlier, the problem was solved but the same problem has been occurred within 01 week. So, the service centre is not co-operate with us. We are facing a lot of problem.

Lekin ab meri gari ka pichla darwaza sahi dhang se set nhi huwa. Or pichla darwaza me jordar aavaz aati h.
            Mene choudhary mahindra service center / company branch me kafi bar sikayat ki par koi sunai nhi karta h. Mere mob no. [protected]. Mri gari ko thik karwaye nhi to m upbhokta court me janunga. M aapke jabab ka intjar karta hu.

              I booked my scorpio s4+ on 28 july 2017 from win win automobile vidisha showroom and they promised me and give me in writing that they will deliver vehicle on 20-25 august 2017. Despite of crossing the delivery date none of the person informed me where the vehicle is. And i have also done payment and till now (On 4th september 2017) they even don't know the status of the vehicle.
              Extremely pathetic customer relationship and disgusting response.

              I would not suggest anyone to buy a vehicle from win win automobile vidisha or bhopal (M. P.).

                मैं राजस्थान पत्रिका के नेशनल ब्यूरो दिल्ली में विशेष संवाददाता हूं। मेरे बड़े भाई महेश चन्द गुप्ता ने आपकी कम्पनी के भरतपुर (राजस्थान) स्थित डीलर युवा मोटर्स से २३ अक्टूबर २०१५ को महेन्द्रा गस्टो डीएक्स स्कूटर खरीदा था। स्कूटर खरीदने के साथ ही धुआं देना, एवरेज कम देना, कहीं भी बंद हो जाना और बाद में प्लग ठीक कराने के बाद ही स्टार्ट होना जैसी समस्या दे रहा था। चूंकि स्कूटर की डिलीवरी युवा मोटर्स ने हिण्डौन में बनाए हुए सब डीलर से कराई थी, इसलिए खराबी की शिकायत बारम्बार उसी सब डीलर के यहां की की गई जिसने कभी भी संतोषजनक उत्तर नहीं दिया और ना ही स्कूटर की फ्री सर्विस संतोषजनक की। सब डीलर को बारम्बार निवेदन के बावजूद जब उसने स्कूटर ठीक नहीं किया तो आपके जयपुर स्थित सर्विस इंजीनियर महेन्द्र मित्तल से उनके मोबाइल नम्बर ९८२९५९५१३२ पर बात की तो उन्होंने सब डीलर की अपेक्षा स्कूटर को युवा मोटर्स भरतपुर ले जाने को कहा। तमाम समस्याओं का सामना करते हुए स्कूटर को ११ अगस्त को भरतपुर ले जाया गया। उन्हें सभी समस्याएं भी नोट कराई गई और उनके सर्विस इंजीनियर ने आश्वासन दिया कि सभी समस्याएं दूर कर दी जाएंगी लेकिन अफसोस कि युवा मोटर्स ने भी स्कूटर को ठीक करने की अपेक्षा धो पोंछ कर दे दिया और ४०० रुपए भुगतान भी ले लिया।

                महोदय, स्कूटर अभी भी लगातार धुआं दे रहा है और अन्य समस्याएं भी ज्यों की त्यों हैं। स्कूटर की वारंटी अक्टूबर में समाप्त होने वाली है। मुझे उम्मीद है कि आप हस्तक्षेप कर एक उपभोक्ता को आपकी कम्पनी के प्रतिष्ठा के अनुरूप राहत दिलवाएंगे और कम्पनी के डीलर युवा मोटर्स को दंडित कर कम्पनी की प्रतिष्ठा की रक्षा करेंगे। इस पत्र के साथ आपको युवा मोटर्स में कराए गए काम के बिल के साथ स्कूटर खरीद का बिल तथा रजिस्ट्रेशन की प्रति भी संलग्र कर भेजी जा रही है। आश है आप शिकायत का निवारण कराने के साथ ही मुझे अवगत कराएंगे कि आपने डीलर को भविष्य में ऐसी हरकत नहीं करने के लिए पाबंद भी किया है।

                  The undersigned visited koncept automobiles pvt. Ltd., lajpat nagar-iii, new delhi on 20.08.2017 for purchase of kuv 100 k6 2016 model colour - lava red on the call of mr. Mohit thakur, sales executive. The discussion was held over phone with him between 16 to 19.08.2017. On 20.08.2017, i met him at koncept automobiles, lajpat nagar, new delhi and he gave me deal finalization sheet which is as under and i exchange my old vehicle i. E. Wagon r lxi cng september, 2014 model, first owner and paid rs.15500/- as booking amount through cheque.
                  Mahindra kuv 100 k6 colour lava red
                  Ex showroom price (Rate as per 2017 list) - rs.660541.00
                  Registration - rs. 64310.00
                  Zero depth. Insurance - rs. 31778.00
                  Number plate - rs. 1050.00

                  Total - rs. 757679.00

                  Less: mahindra scheme - rs. 38000.00
                  Exchange bonus - rs. 25000.00
                  Insurance discount - rs. 12000.00
                  Cash discount - rs.40000.00
                  Old car value - rs.280000.00
                  Corporate discount - rs. 5000.00

                  Total - rs.400000.00

                  Payable amount - rs. 357679.00
                  Add: black roof - rs. 7821.00

                  Net paid - rs.365500.00

                  On 28.08.2017, the above said vehicle handed over to me and the invoice issued are as under which is not matching with the above quoted value. When i asked them then they submitted that we will issue invoice only whatever amount we have received. I request that you issue invoice as per rate list and minus the discount but they were not agreed. Now, i want to know that they have issued invoice as per rate list of 2016 or 2017 but i paid the amount as per 2017 rate list. The invoice issued by them is as under:-

                  Invoice value dt.23.08.2017 - rs.577540.00
                  Debit note dt. 23.08.2017 - rs. 84568.00

                  Total - rs.662108.00

                  I want to know that the invoice issued is correct or not and there is a huge difference in amount. Pls let me know where is that amount.

                  It is also noted that on 28.07.2017 when i reached at home at try to lock car but my car could not be locked because sensor was not working. I immediately contact mr. Mohit thakur salesman about the problem. He assure me that when you come for number plate on sunday i. E. 3.9.2017 your problem will be resolved.

                  Today i. E. 03.09.2017 i reached showroom i. E koncept automobiles pvt. Ltd., lajpat nagar-iii, new delhi at about 11.00 a. M. Along with my son and met mr. Mohit thakur and asked him to resolve the problems. Firstly, he arrange to fix the number plate and there was bubbles in roof which was blacked through showroom and paid for this. They assured that you run your car atleast one month it will resolved automatically and lock (Sensor) was also not working. They send a man namely mr. Pankaj with us to visit workshop situated at a-40, mohan estate, new delhi for checking the lock problem. During going to the workshop suddenly left side tyre (Driver side) was burst and car disbalance and our life (Me, my son and mr pankaj) come in danger because there was lot of traffic behind us. I controlled the car and kept in side, at that time the speed of car will be around 45-60. When we opened tyre myself and mr. Pankaj, the tyre, rim and tool kit was found old and tyre was with tube. At the time of selling it was told that tyre is tubeless and radial. We changed tyre and reached workshop.in between i talked to mr. Arora, vp sales, koncept automobiles and mr. Mohit, they said there is mr. Vijay srivastava, service manager he will help you. When we reached workshop, i request mr. Vijay srivastav to check the car. He checked and found that tyre, rim and tool kit were old and workers who were there, also confirmed that the tyre, rim and tool kit are old. I also lodged my complaint customer care over phone twicely.

                  I make a call on 100 to call police to investigate the matter because koncept automobile, lajpat nagar misrepresent and cheated us. Due to this our life come in danger. Police visited there and inquire the matter and direct mr. Vijay srivastava, service manager that the rim, tyre, tools are old one. It is better to change the car and talked to koncept automobiles, new delhi. Mr. Vijay srivastava discussed with mr. Arora, vp sales. I was there 3-4 hours, neither my lock problem resolved nor no phone call come from showroom to give any assurance. It cleary shows there intention that they are well known about the tyre, rim and tool kit. Mr. Vijay said you leave your vehicle here to resolve the sensor problem, it will take 3-4 hours.

                  I request him to fix damage tyre in car and i will visit showroom to discuss. There was mr. Dinesh panwar, mr. Mohit thakur and 2-3 persons also. They straightway said we are not responsible for this mahindra is responsible for all this. We will take this issue with mahindra. How this problem arise and how the old tyre, rim and tools are old one. I simply submit that i am not interested in this car and you refund my money so that i can purchase other car. Due to this incident, i will give zero number to showroom, sales executive and service centre for non co-operation. I will not suggest to anyone to visit/purchase mahindra vehicle. I am having very good experience with maruti and i am using maruti vehicles since 1989 and no problem have been faced. I tried to change but having very bad experience with mahindra.

                  Later mr. Dinesh panwar said you leave your car here we will take this issue with mahindra and we will drop at your residence. They dropped me at my residence at about 5.30 pm. They checked rim, tyre, sensor and tool kit and said we will change by new one.

                  Now, i request yourgood self that refund my money whatever i have paid. I am not interested to keep this car.

                    I have thar crde 4wd 6 seater ac, which i bought on nov 2015 from eram motors pvt ltd calicut - kerala

                    Now for the past 1 & half years am facing an issue with my thar.
                    Though i work in gulf, the use of vehicle is also limited and in my home my father also takes it sometimes only, because he have another 2 vehicles.

                    The issue is, when we park the car and then try to take the vehicle after more than 2- 3 days, the car does not move [ front or back ]. It remains stuck mode. The back wheels doesn't do any action. How much we try to put move by changing gear in front or reverse, but no luck. I believe that this very important technical defect.

                    This do not happen every times. Moreover this happend for more than 3-4 times in more than above period. So all the time when this problem arise, we call eram motors kozhikode and they used arrange the vehicle to pick up.
                    You can also check the history of my vehicle in the system.

                    Presently, 2 week back i faced the same issue and coordinated with eram motors and they arranged some people from kannur branch and they have taken and informed me that they have solved the issue now.
                    As they were telling for all 3- 4 times.

                    But as a customer, i have faced the same issue for lot of time and i cannot accept my vehicle until i get full guarantee that the same issue will not happen anymore. As i already informed that i get a chance to use the vehicle for only limited time. So in such a case am not able to use my vehicle and instead running behind the same repeated issue at all time. Then what is the use of purchasing or owing your product mahindra thar.

                    So, i kindly request the company to get rid of my problems and find a best solution to solve this permanently. Then only i will pick my vehicle from kannur.

                    I am a owner of kuv100 car with registration number UP78EK7832 . Due to incident my car was damaged which is staying at mahindra automobile service center Etawah last one month. This service center is unable to repair in case of non supply of spares and fittings. Plz grant Co operation to recover my car like new as well as possible .

                      I did purchase a thar jeep about 6 months back fro era motors calicuty. Since the purchase i have contacted them to modify the jeep with front and back bumpers etc. As i live abroad have made several contacts with the agency and always their reply is not available.                         I had buy tuv 300 from shiva auto car (India) pvt ltd at papeeganj, new delhi on 9th aug 2017. I have paid rs. 2100 to traffic police on behalf of shiva auto but till date they have not returned my money. Imran & gm has confirmed will pay you.
                        Another original rc yet to be received by us. They have informed that it will take 90 days, whereas scorpoi rc was received by mr. Ashish bhatia from rohini dealer.

                        This is not a good service by this dealer.

                          We have done the service at Eram MOtors Thrissur.the service supervisor said, replacement of ABS is the only solution for this Complaint. Mahindra And Mahindra is the maker of this vehicle. So please consider.

                            I have brought new vehicle from mahindra showroom located at verna, goa. My vehicle no is ga-07 f-5378 i had problem with gears so i had shown in the showroom. They done the repair work 15 days back only. Now again the same problem is there, i m unable to drive the vehicle. The showroom people always give me reason like either they don't have parts or it will be available in 2-3 days or there is no technician. Last time my vehicle was in showroom for at least 15 days. Now also the same story is being repeated. Now they r saying there is problem with supro model only. Showroom people doesn't matter that vehicle is in off condition, but i m facing double loss as anyway i have to pay the installment & i m not getting any use of the vehicle.
                            If you are unable to solve the problem at least stop selling further units as more people are going to suffer. I will never advise anyone to go for mahindra again. I m so disappointed with mahindra. My contact no is ([protected])

                              From last 6 months i am facing problem on my car as it is only 1 year old only.
                              There are technical & manufacturing fault on vehicle. At my home town there is authorised mahindra & mahindra service center (Star india agency, rupnarayanpur, kharagpur) i visited this service center several times along with my vehicle & they ask to keep the vehicle for observation infact 2 times they kept for 30-40 days to rectify, still they are fail to resolve.
                              Whenever i logged my complain they take excuse that our technical team checked but no issue has been found, if there is no issue then why every time they are changing the spares parts & asking to make the payment.

                              I am really frustrated with this type of support from mahindra & mahindra.

                              Last & finally i have been decided & request to company exchange this car with another model or refund the entire amount.

                              Please help!

I gave my car to company for reparing. My work is getting more delaided than the promised time. Repeatedly circumambulate company gave me excuses. Literally got frustated. Not satisfied reasons. I look forward to settling this matter amicably. If however the matter is not satisfactorily resolved quickly i will consider taking further action to resolve it.                                   As an owner of xuv 500. We had first 3 services free but was charged from the 2nd service itself. The rear ac had a malfunctioning and the bonet clip also weared out in the third service itself and also charged. For the 4th service they charged rs14000 which is way too much compared to other vehicles of the same category. I feel this a little too much to digest. So please do the needful.

                                      I am very dissatisfied with mahindra automotive service dealer in vijayawada my work is getting more delaided than the promised time still i am not getting a satisfactory quality. The executive and the manager are not responding properly. I have given my vehicle xuv500 ap 16 dc 0006 with an accident case on 14 july 2017 i have given it to the service body shop to fix my car. They told me that i wil get my car ready in 15 days and then they said i will get my car ready in august 1st or 2nd week and then they are saying i will get ready on 30 august still they did not make my car ready they are keep on prolonging my delivery time i am very dissatisfied with this dealer. This is not the first time it has happed last time also of date 8 june2017. I am very much harssed because of this issue there is no proper response from the dealer also. I have been saying this each time when they call me for the feedback but there is know response or change from the service.

                                      I have bought kuv100 on 2016 February but now many parts has to be changed. Battery not working, dynama not working, air compressor damaged, and now I have given my vehicle no. SK04P4957 at sona wheels so hope my parts will be covered in warranty.

                                        I have a mahindra tractor in jaisalmer. Right now for repair we have repairs in our bikaner service center but they had cheat with us. We are not satisfied with your service center. They have mistake in my tractor. My tractor lift is not working properly and also they have commissioned to drivers.. It is cheating, fraud from your company. It will down your reputation. I want my tractor as it is.
                                        You should listen farmers voice. I want only my tractor as it is in any conditions. I left not this matter easily cuz its not our black money that's our hard works money.
                                        Please listen our voice and hope you will do something as soon as, that will be a mile stones for mahindra and indian farmer's.
