I am saddened and disheartened by the very recent disappointing experience with the make my trip bookings. The way they have provided the service was very much unprofessional and unethical. Their executives taniya, rahul jain, heena, kanchan sharma & sachin have given a very poor response and service. I have been in a belief that mmt provides the best services on hotel bookings but after getting this kind of service i don't feel the same anymore.
I have booked taj exotica resort & spa, salcete, goa from mmt app for 6 nights & 7 days with a breakfast plan & mine booking id was nh[protected]. After checking the plans for 3 to 4 times, i have selected the room with a breakfast plan. But they provided me the room only facility with no meal plan. I have never seen such poor service from a well-known service provider anywhere.

While dealing with all these issues i got mail of a taj gift card of rupees 500 and previously it was mentioned that i will get a taj gift card worth rupees 3000 after the booking is done. Mine every experience was disappointing and absurd with mmt.

Then suddenly i got a cashback message from mmt on 11th november, there was a cashback of rupees 2174 and i don't know what's this cashback is for as it is not mentioned in it.

I urge the higher authorities of mmt to take this complaint of mine very seriously and be answerable for the entire event. Also to bring to your knowledge that i had to pay extra for the breakfast at the taj exotica resort & spa, salcete, goa for 7 days even after booking the room with the breakfast plan.

I would like to bring your attention here on the following issues that i have faced even after paying for the desired services.
Key points & issues:
1. Mine budget was fixed and i have decided that it should not exceed a lakhs rupees with breakfast plan.
2. I have selected a proper plan after checking though i had to face this issue.
3. I had to pay extra for breakfast. The breakfast plan of mmt was 1500+ taxes & i have paid 1900+ taxes for it.
4. Got taj gift card worth rupees 500, which should have been of rupees 3000 as mentioned by mmt while booking.

I have paid for the booking on 8th november through my credit card the bill was generated (You can see the bill in an attachment) and i got it through mail and whatsapp. I have checked the bill then i raised my concern & called up the mmt people after seeing the room only plan mentioned in a bill. They assured me to solve the problem in the next 24 hrs. Then i got a call from mmt on 9th november & they told me that i have selected the room only plan. And after asking that from where this amount of 14, 163 rupees has come, the mmt executive was unable to give the satisfying answer.

This is very ridiculous and when i told them that i have taken the screenshots while booking then they suddenly changed their voice tone and the way they were talking to me and asked me to send the screenshots on mail. I told them on 8th november to solve this issue on an urgent basis & i will be in transit on 9th november as i have to check-in on 10th november. And even shared the screenshot of the booking and selected plan with them.

    I accidentally created 3 accounts on makemytrip and it is causing me a huge inconvenience. I dropped emails to your dedicated emails [protected]@makemytrip.com but didn't receive a reply at all. This is highly disappointing as you have no channel or access for customers with problems other than booking issues to reach you. Your phone numbers do not address such issues either. How do you retain customers when you can't answer their queries and solve their problems?
    Please resolve my issue at the earliest as i want to permanently delete all my accounts.

      I have booked ja ticket for kochi - mumbai in the month of january for a trip scheduled in the month of may thru make my trip.

      I had cancelled it in the month of april much before jet airways was declared insolvent. Its more than 6 months time and i have not yet received my refund.

        I have booked flight through makemytrip.com they are offers best gurantee on flights booking through their website, they charges 8318 rupees including convinience fee, then after i just checked fare with akbartravels.com and other website, the results was shocking makemytrip charged me 1141 rupees than akbar travels, then i complainted for best price guarantee scheme, i send all supportings for that, after 3 days of delayed response, they informed me that the best price guarantee scheme is no more its already stopped, but before the booking through makemytrip, i was a trust in makemytrip that makemytrip has lowest rate if the rate is highers they will give my loss back in 10x times, i checked that offer in promo section, an i found that the offer still available/working, now lost 1141 of my cash, they are not ready to give 10 times of the diffrence, i requested them to give atleast 1141 and i dont want 10x times of diffrence amount, here i am attaching screenshots, ang guys dont book in makemytrip, they are money looters, cheaters, the misleading customers by giving fake offers

          I booked for a hotel for my bangalore trip on 13th april 2019. Due to some personal issues i couldn't complete my trip. But i didn't got a refund till today. I would like to get my refund of rs 1802. I have cancelled the stay but my refund was not credited to my bank account. I have waited for 6 months and even now i didn't got the money. I think i have to get my money back.

            Booked hotel ranabanka palace jodhpur through make my trip. After the booking a booking voucher was with a note there a mandatory dinner and cost us 15k. I contacted mmt and initially i was told i don’t need to attend and they will resolve the issue. Every time i made a call, i was told a call will be given in 24 hours but it would never happen. I had keep calling and finally to my surprise i was told i need to pay for the dinner weather i attend or not. They are just cheating the customer and not even ready to cancel the booking and refund my money as i have already paid the booking amount.

              I almost missed a flight and incurred a lot of loss because of carelessness of mmt.
              I booked a found flight from lucknow to taipei via bangkok.
              The journey from lucknow to taipei went smooth. But the return flight which i had on 15th of november 2019 from taipei to lucknow via bangkok (Pnr no szeeha)
              Is cancelled partially (Bangkok to lucknow) on 5th of september and airlines informed this to mmt. But mmt informed me via mail that now your flight is departing early by 3 hrs and it was a good news for me as i didn't wanted to wait much on airport.
              Before the day of journey i just cross checked my flight on thai airways and came to know that flight is got cancelled.
              When i asked this thing with mmt customer care executive they lied that flight is only cancelled a day ago means 13th of november and airlines has not given any update regarding cancellation.
              I came to know this through airline that flight is got cancelled on 5th of september and they informed mmt on the same day but mmt sent the wrong update to me that flight is departing early.
              I just want a strong action against such act and compensation for this mental harrassment and losses. I have attached 2 screenshot one is showing that mmt still not updated its mistake and showing trip completed and another is google update regarding that flight which haven't started yet. And i'm waiting for flight here far far away from my home because of mmt blunder.

              I had booked a hotel through MakeMyTrip from 11-14th nov. the 3 days trip was @ 5237/- excluding taxes. On payment portal I was charged 23, 144/-. Despite repeated calls and mails I have neither got any revert nor is my money returned. Kindly help.

                Hi, i have not received my refund amount of rs. 4024. Cancellation of flight from indore to hyderabad. I have requested for cancellation on 4th nov. Attaching the screenshot with booking id no. Although mmt representative approached me for 2-3 times but all in vain.

                Can you please check and let me know when will i receive my refund amount.

                  I have booked a hotel by using make my trip (Mmt) website in the month of september 2019 with booking id - nh[protected]. After that because of gst reduction mandate the amount of tax applicable on this hotel booking has been reduced and for that on oct 20th i have received a mail from mmt stating i will receive a refund of inr 1451.67. As per the mail, the upi refund process should not take more than a day or two.

                  But it is going to be one month since the refund mail i have received but i did not get my refund yet. I have raised several tickets with mmt and called them many times but each time they are saying, the refund will be posted with in 72 hrs.

                  It is the first time i am using service from mmt but for my first issue only they showed how bad is their customer service. For an issue which should not take more than a day, they keep on extending till one month and still no resolution. I doubt how they are going to support me if any issue arises during my upcoming stay in the hotel.

                  Really pathetic service.

                    I had booked 2 rooms for 4 adults at wood stock kausali on dated 07.11.2019 for 11.11.2019 to 12.11.2019 as we reached there, hotel staff have not allowed for check in on 11.11.2019, same was informed to customer executive but they have not been responded for resolving my problem. They have not been refunded till date. Again i request to higher authority of make my trip please release my refund because we were not allowed for check in by hotel staff.

                      I'm an mmt double black member, i redeemed my cash by taking voucher, voucher was sent immediately but code given is showing invalid/error when i'm making booking. I called, mailed and chatted the customer service, for 7 days continously, every time i get same answer we can't help you now will forward to concerning team call you back in 24hrs!!! But 7 days have passed by i got no calls or emails resolving the matter and every time i call they say we will get back in 24hrs!!!

                      Now due to ayodhya verdict I am rescheduling my trip. Abhishek resort is ready to pay my money back but they need MMT confirmation. I am trying 100s of calls to MMT customer care they are receiving my call.can you please look into this matter and resolve it as early as possible.

                        My accommodation on 1st nov at pondicherry was cancelled by hotel person due to unavailability of room. However there was no communication from anyone on this and we were standing infront of hotel for 3hrs at night with two 3-year old babies.
                        After a long discussion, mmt person had confirmed that my amount will be fully refunded and along with that a travel voucher of 2000/- will be shared.

                        After 10-15 follow ups for the same since 2nd nov, i havent received any confirmation on the same.
                        Reason confirmed after multiple follow ups is that my email id is not registered with my mmt account.
                        I dont think so it is that difficult to share a voucher even if the email id is not registered.

                        Very bad experience.

                          On 9 october 2019 i booked hrtc bus from delhi to bharwain for journey date 23 october 2019. My booking i'd was nu[protected]. But under some circumstances i cancelled the booking. The total amount of 991 have been deducted from my account. But till now am not able to get refund in my account. Its been long time since i cancelled booking. Kindly refund me as soon as possible.

                            I want to delete my account but makemytrip is not responding via email or phone.
                            I no longer want to use this account on makemytrip.
                            I have tried to contact support both via phone and email but have received no response on either.
                            This is unacceptable customer support from them and they are purposefully ignoring this request because it concerns closing an account.

                            This is very pathetic service. No-one is ready to hear the Customer Problems. I spoke to almost 10 Employees Pooja, Preeti, Divyani, Ranjan, Jaya, Akanksha. Who are not at all bothered and simply washing their hands by transferring the calls. I want to know the Status of My Refund status against Booking ID : IN1806B7S4715007.

                              We booked a holiday package with makemytrip for turkey. They promised to take care of our entire trip details including visa. They took our documents including the passports for visa processing. They have also taken two payments from us to the amount of ₹120, 000.                                 Hi, i had a word with riya regarding my hotel booking and she offered me refund of 2000 and asked me share the bank details, i have shared the bank details on the same day but no one reverted yet from mmt side secondly i called mmt again where one supervisor told me there is no action has been done from riya side.

                                  I booked 3 rooms for 10 guests (6 adults and 4 children) for 21st-23rd dec in four points by sheraton, mahabalipuram through the makemytrip app. I wanted to change the dates of travel. I tried contacting makemytrip, the automated response received was we are attending to customers who are travelling in the next 10days because they are short of staff. The prices are going up on the other hand which they do not realise. It is our money that is at stake. The automated reply said do it on the app or our website. I then went to my booking on the app, it had a few options like cancel booking, modify guests, modify dates, etc. I only clicked on modify dates and selected 27-29th dec. It showed a that your package is available for your chosen dates for a price difference of rs11000. I then paid the differential amount and received the new booking voucher. Please note the new voucher is with only 6 adults and 0 children. How can this be? I have clicked on nothing other than modify dates.

                                  2nd phase
                                  Withing 10 minutes of recieving the voucher i was trying to contact mmt. My fear is i have now paid rs82000 and at hotel they might ask me to pay more for the children. I was unable to cancel and make a fresh booking also. I messaged frantically through my app. I finally get a call with maybe 2 rings late in the evening which i missed. I then get a message saying case closed. I do the chat process again. I finally get a call and the agent says yes there is an issue with your booking, our specialised technical team will get back to you maximum with 48 hrs. I was slightly relieved. But after 24 hrs i got impatient again because if i have to cancel this booking and make a new one, the prices are soaring high. I chat again, get a call and say the same thing, there is an issue we will get back.
                                  Please note that it has been 5 days for the first booking and 4 days for the second. There has been no response at all!! I wanted to file a case as i'm feeling harassed. My money is involved and other two families whom i don't know what to answer.
                                  If they want to cancel my booking let them do so and refund my entire money or call me to discuss. I have both vouchers to show which i am unable to upload

                                    I am writing this complaint to express my deepest regret towards makemytrip support and supervisor. They are as good as non-functional.

                                    My booking was confirmed and check-in was on 2 november 2019. Upon reaching the hotel they told us they haven't received any booking from mmt end. We called mmt support to get this resolved but instead of getting this solved after 5 hours mmt shared alternative property (Amor beach resort) voucher where we paid 6k more (Attached is hotel booking voucher) and the revised property was not equivalent to the previous booking. Hence, we paid twice for the hotel and went through the misery of requesting support from mmt. Revised voucher sent my mmt was only for 1 adult and hotel started demanding more money from us (Highlighted the same)

                                    Also, we booked activities from thrillophia on the same day but we couldn't able to effectively avail the services and would you please compensate for the same.

                                    Request you to please look into it.

                                      Hi team i booked hotel for 3 days 2 rooms in ahmedabad last 1 november 2019. When i was reached at hotel on 1 nov hotel denied cheak in, hotel management told payment issue we not accepting online payment. Imegitely i call customer care of make my trip but they couldn't solved problem. I told them returns my online payment in my account.                                         Mr. Kalra, thanks for giving me a great experience hats of to your supervisor Sonal who even don’t know weather my booking is refundable or not so I have to guide her but it is not an issue, thing is that she committed a voucher of 3000 to me as a compensation and I requested her to make it documented and send a mail, believe me I called her in the morning time and now it’s 8pm since I haven’t received a single mail so that I can assure that I will getting a voucher. Pls let me know where else I can write this appreciation mail for your kind gesture
