Hello sir my name is lakshay gupta.. I am a very regular old user of make my trip and my mobile number is +91-[protected].
I had made two bookings (Nh[protected] and nh[protected] on a non refundable basis thinking that i will go for this vacation as i have always been going after making non refundable bookings in make my trip..
Unfortunately i met with an accident last week and i have fractured my leg.. My doctor has adviced me a complete bed rest for two months because of which i won't be able to go for this vacation and bookings mentioned above..
I hereby request makemytrip from the bottom of my heart to cancel these bookings and refund the amount to my mmt wallet or my bank account as i can use them after i'm back to normal health. While booking these non refundable bookings i never knew this is going to happen in my life. As an old valued customer of make my trip i request makemytrip to refund the money as a special gesture from their side.. Because it's a very genuine reason as what happened with me was unpredictable.

I await a positive response from your side.

    Hello,
    I am a regular traveler and generally book my flights on indian travel sites. I was quite happy with yatra but in order to change the experience, i chose makemytrip and booked some domestic and international travels for me and my family.
    As mmt claims ‘#no1’, i thought your services would be quite clear and appreciable. While booking the tickets, i also opt for insurance for all the flights i booked but i never received any insurance details from your side.
    I am well settled nri in paris and working in one of the top banks. I have to really spare my time to talk and follow it up with your customer service. I started the chat with your customer care couple of times but no instant reply.in fact, on some chats the reply was after few hours. Strange.
    You can check that asking your backend team.
    Then today morning (07th nov 2019) around 9am cet, i called mmt customer service. Again the call was transferred from one agent to another. Big waits in between the transfer and ultimately, your customer service put me on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnect the call finally at around 10:10 cet. Classic customer service. I expect you should hear the call recording. A lot of training is required in order to handle such a simple request like that.

    For me, i just need insurance documents for all the bookings i made with you. And then may be i will leave make my trip and move to some other online travel agent.

    I am not asking a favour but asking the return of what i have paid you.

    But you should take this very seriously. This is a real flaw in your system to not provide any details of insurance to the customers who buy directly with mmt.

    Hope you will take some action and improve yourself.

      The above mentioned booking is done for 4 adults by paying slightly more than 2 no of double occupancy. Upon check in they provide just one double occupancy room with 2 no of additional mattress. The room is not spacious enough to place those with comfortable movement though we request to provide 2 double occupancy room, since we paid more than that, but hey refused and informing us that this they have provided only for kids, whereas while booking it is clearly mentioned as 4 adults.
      The immediate next day we booked 2 no of double occupancy through goibibo with cheaper rate.
      Today i have received 2 bills by splitting the amount paid by me to avoid their tax burden in unethical way. Even on enquiry the so called gm of the hotel rubbish and used filthy language.
      Hope you understand the intense of the issue and refund the money as well the action against the brutal gm to avoid further escalations

        Dear sir,

        Ref: makemytrip booking id in1b[protected]

        I had booked ticket of 21 people (Group booking) through make my trip travel expert by email. Then i had cancel my 1 ticket and email this details to our travel booking expert and i received confirmation of same that i am cancel 1 ticket from my group booking.

        But still i have not get refund from make my trip and i call our expert they told me refund from airlines is get by make my trip but make my trip account dept. Why not process the same in your account i dnt know?? Then he suggest me draft a mail to make my trip concern team related to refund. I send email to [protected]@makemytrip.com but still i have not get any reply from this end.

        I am very much worry about this matter.
        Please do the needfull
        I hope you will help me out this.

          I had tried to book train ticket from bangalore to kopergaon by karnataka express -12627 for journey date 15th february 2020 on october 20th (Booking id no[protected]. The transaction failed but my account was debited with an amount of rs. 1409.66. I had contacted the make my trip toll free number and had spoken to agent ms. Kavitha (Ticket id no. [protected]) and then i received a sms saying that my case / issue was mentioned as closed ny the above said agent. The message informed that the amount will be credited back back to my account within 14 days. But we have not received any amount so far.

            I booked my train tickets from hyderabad to coimbatore on march 6th 2019 for 3 people. Got it cancelled on may 3rd. After a month i contacted make my trip website for refund i was told the policy of refund is 60 to 90 days. But inspire of calling regularly they are putting the blame on i rctc. We paid to make my trip and i hold you make my trip responsible. Almost 100 calls have been made and several mails sent but still no response. I want the higher authorities to answer and take responsibility.

              I have to cancel my flight scheduled for 8th nov bangkok to delhi, for which mmt processed the refund of rs 6900.
              Today 6 nov, i get the call from mmt executive that they can not refund my amount as the airline has denied the refund.

              Contrary on the 2nd nov, the mmt website automatically initiated my refund and they promised the refund. It seems they have deceived me with false information and do not wish to refund my money. This they might be doing with many of their customers.

              Please help me get my refund amount and take strict action, they are cheating many people.

                I want to delete my mmt account associated to this mail because i want to add this mail to my another mmt account associated to a phone number. So please solve this as soon as possible because i have many works with that. So i hope you will solve my problem as soon as possible...                   Even after multiple attempt to call makemytrip i as unable to reach to there customer call center.

                  I need this to book as soon as possible or else the prices will increase. I am using netbanking and multiple times it's failing.
                  Makemytrip should help me. I don't expect this from a company like makemytrip.

                    My mother and I made plans to travel to Munich to visit my brother and so I booked a roundtrip Lufthansa flight from Mumbai to Munich on MakeMyTrip (booking id: NN[protected] costing 90, 390.
                    Our flight to Munich was at 00:50 hrs on 23 September 2019. About 3 hours before the flight, I called makemytrip to enquire regarding date change for my return flight and the MakeMyTrip agent erroneously cancelled my entire booking on the Lufthansa portal (the booking was intact on the makemytrip portal). He cancelled both mine and my mother’s onward and return flights! The shock and stress we went through at that point is indescribable. We were at the airport, planning to board our flight at 00:50 and all of a sudden, the staff at the Lufthansa counter told us that our bookings have been cancelled!!! I tried calling MakeMyTrip many times to help us out through this, but they didn’t even extend the slightest help possible. My calls were simply put on hold.
                    Tickets at the airport were extremely expensive and I thought it was best to cancel our travel plans and head back home. However, my mother who is 55 years old and a single parent suffers from depression. She had an anxiety attack and broke into tears as she very badly wanted to meet her son at the earliest. Hence, I had no choice but to purchase new tickets at the airport, which cost me 173640.
                    This was an extremely stressful experience for both o[censored]s. Immediately after reaching Munich, I wrote several emails to MakeMyTrip asking them to fairly compensate me for putting us through this ordeal. I requested them to pay me 173640 + 90390 as they had to compensate us for the horrible stressful experience they made us go through. This is a very small compensation considering what they made me and my mother go through! Ideally they should be paying us 10 lakhs or so for this irresponsible goo[censored]p! We were on the verge of cancelling our entire travel plan because of them. The time, money and effort that we put into getting our visas and planning the trip would’ve gone to waste because of this careless behavior from their side! I had to watch my mother have an anxiety attack and cry her eyes out at the airport because of them. What they made us go through was painstakingly horrible.
                    After several follow-ups, they finally replied and accepted that they made a huge mistake and agreed to pay me 173640 + 90390 and give additional travel vouchers of Rs 5000 on MakeMyTrip portal (have attached all mails). However, they again cheated me by paying only Rs 173640! I have been following up with them for the remaining amount but they aren’t replying to my mails. Request you to please help me out in getting the entire compensation from them.

                      Dear team,
                      We had a horrible experience booking cab service with you for delhi airport to gwalior. We were not only left on middle of road to figure out our own way but we felt mentally harassed and traumatized during the process. Following are the sequence of events:
                      1.) we made booking much in advance with booking id no. Nc[protected]
                      2.) we had a pick up at 11 am from delhi airport on 24 oct 2019.
                      3.) we got driver details but we wanted to confirm it so we reached out to mmt on 23rd evening and they ensured everything.
                      4.) whole fiasco started on 24th oct morning when we started getting calls from multiple numbers for pick-up and on one call someone even said he is waiting since 9:30 for pickup!
                      4.) when we finally stepped out of airport at 10:15. We realised there was no cab and me and my spouse again have to call back on all such numbers from where we got calls, in addition we were continuously on call with mmt. No one had any clue on driver name or cab number.
                      5.) this continued for almost 45 mins. And finally we found driver at 11:20.. To utter surprise driver name and vehicle no. Was different. On enquiring he told us that he was assigned randomly by cab vendor and he is going to jaipur and his way he will drop us in agra.. This left us further unsettled as we had booked outstation can till gwalior (You can verify from booking id). Gwalior is 120 km ahead of agra and it is 2 hours 44 mins journey.
                      5.) we called back mr. Satendra who was still giving false assurance and asked for otp and said he will arrange something else from agra.
                      6.) at this point we asked cab driver to drop us back at airport as we were still in airport premises. He refused to this and dropped us on middle of road and went away. By this time it was already 12:00 noon.
                      8.) all this has lead to a very bad experience and on top of that customer care argues that satendra only came to pick you up.. Where as he was sitting somewhere else trying to coordinate.

                      Overall this was a pathetic and a very very poor experience and has left a very bad taste for us. Forget loss of time.. We felt so unsecured during the entire process.

                      I would strongly urge you to take very strong action against this company. Also i not only want refund but also a compensation for loss of my time and inconvenience caused to me and my spouse.

                      I hope you will take this matter on priority and provide me with with suitable relief on this matter. We are in touch with makemytrip since 24th oct but they have not provided us any refund or anything and they continue to delay resolution process.

                        I was booking my flight ticket from jaipur to the new delhi today. I was using mmt app. I selected the date as 6th november 2019 and i did the payment. Little did i know that the dates got changed to 6th jan 2020. And in was like what the # was that.

                        I looked up for the date change charges which were around 80 % of the actual flight along with mmt extra fee which was 300 and also base fare difference.

                        So i change the flight date and it dawned on me that this could be their way of getting money out of the customers and ofcouse i consider it as a fraud.

                        Right after that i started looking for the similar experiences of the people with this app and i could find really a good no of people which were saying and complaining about the exact same problem with this app.

                        Try to book flight directly instead of these apps.

                          Sir/ maam

                          Regarding my flight booking i booked a ticket for delhi to guwahati two person this evening. They deducted the amount 11863 rs but didn't sent the ticket. No pnr number, no message and no email. Nothing has been sent except the deduction of the money. How do i get my ticket. This is a very bad experience. Please do refund as soon as possible.

                            I had booked my flight tickets via make my trip to delhi by spicejet on 25 oct. After completing the payment process, i received a message that my booking was unsuccessfull and that i will be refunded in 3-5 days. It has been 6 days and i haven't received any money. My bank also messaged me that an amount of 35k has been deducted from my account by make my trip. Please help me get my money back asap

                              The grievance is related to below mentioned issues. 1) the booking for hotel name oyo 7846 hotel prince gardenia from 20th september to 30th september where i did prepayment more than week ago i was denied accommodation by the property owner stating that there is no such accommodation in your name and we have not received any payment from make my trip despite making payment online and when contacting the make my trip they kept us stranded us for five hours and then informed that we do not have alternate property you may kindly book we would reimburse you the amount. 2) hotel name hotel city palace in dehradun was booked from 19th october till 20th october wherein prepayment was done 15 days back for which the property dealer on reaching hotel denied accommodation stating we do not have rooms and no payment has been made by make my trip i with my 9 family members and one small child was stranded for more than 6 hours in extreme winter wherein the make my trip peoples were least concerned and i called them more than 60 times wherein later on it was told you kindly see alternate property we would pay for it but that was a brutal lie which they have done yet. 3) property name hotel sahaj villa in uttarakshi from 21st october till 23rd october wherein prepayment was gain confirmed and before one day confirming with miss priti over telephone that we would be reaching the property kindly confirm the arrangements we were denied accommodation upon making request and seeing the owner allowed accommodation on one condition before leavings kindly make payment and same was communicated to make my trip over more than 40 times which they have not done yet but they claimed later on you were accommodated i was because being a group a officer in central government i was allowed by hotelier as a courtesy not because of make my trip. As on date i have called for more than 100 times to make my trip and have gone through mental torture and physical harrasment within a month thrice wherein the below mentioned persons 1) yogisha sharma 2) praveen singh rawat 3) abhisek 4) santosh 5) trapti 6) kashish 7) venkyatesh promised to resolve my issue but its more than 11 days and they keep on tellin we tried calling you were not reachable now they are telling they will refund me 8500 rs only. Being a citizen of india and a central government i want strict actions to be taken against these fraud comapny causing immaterial trouble to me and my entire family and i would like to sue the company for more than 2 lacs rupees.

                                Make my trip use our cookies from our browser and increase price of flight using intelligence robots and software.. This is cheating done by mmt many time. Even i done all payment by otp then they increse flight price as i serched it many times. Very nonsense services provide by goibibo and mmt. Please complaint against this nonsense srevices by mmt and go ibibo who cheat us using software and increase all price of flight and hotel as we serched many times and they give back as cashback. Please make strong sound against this fraud activity by mmt goibibo. Due to this fraud activity i have to pay 40000 insteasd of 28000 for flight booking for ahmdabad to kochi date 19/11/2019 thiruvantpuram to ahmedabad date 27/11/2019 ticke no nf[protected] and nf[protected]. Stop this nonsense immedietely. Why are you doing this. As we searched same flight again they incresde price. Others flight price not change as we didnt serached it.. Nonsense mmt and goibibo. Why are they give our information to air line or their software and increase flight price... Who is reponsible for this?

                                  On booking of a train ticket from new delhi to kanpur centre on 10 oct 2019 on train no 12034. However, amount of rs 864 and 864 have been deducted on my account and the ticket was not booked booked. An email received from your department and stated that the amount will be refunded by 12 days. As on the above mentioned amount have not been refunded till date. You are requested to refund the total amount of rs 1728 at the earliest please.

                                    I booked tickets from mmt on 11 sep 2019 but it got failed 2 times. I asked the customer care so many times but they always comes with an excuse that the money has been refunded but i have not got any refund since 11 sep 2019. I contacted my bank but they also have not recieved any money from mmt. So i am not sure where is my money disabled in between bank and mmt.
                                    I have to go consumer court and rbi to complaint against mmt and my bank.

                                      I booke one hotel with pnr [protected] oyo rooms from makemytrip when i came here and saw the hotel i got socked, immediately i called mmt and oyo the whole night i couldn’t sleep due to lack of amenities provided which was mentioned in makemytrip website description but nobody is helping me out it’s already 14 hrs i suffered i already shared the pictures even but nobody concerned about it. I asked them to change my hotel or refund my money but nothing is happening i am tired now from last night i keep calling everyone 10 12 times i ended up chatting or calling customer care nobody is bothered

                                        Council approves proposal to cut rates on hotel tariffs. Rooms with tariff rs 7, 500 and above will now be taxed at 18%. Prior to the cut, the gst rate on this category was 28%. Gst on rooms with tariff between rs 1001 and rs 7, 500 now stands at 12%. No gst on tariffs upto rs 1, 000.

                                        I am simply told to you serval times over the call & mail, i want gst invoice with inputs why all of this things are happened refund etc..

                                        Due to this my remisbruemnt bill are hold, kindly understand the urgency of same..
